Suru nodded in a Sagely type fashion as the two pronounced their favorites. He still didn't really see a point in it, since he was efficient and effective in combat regardless of having a favorite. It was interesting to him that Naoki was the punching type, but it wasn't that surprising since she was blind. Although, the surprising factor was that she could fight even being blind, but it shouldn't have really come as a surprise she was a shinobi after all. His amber gaze fell on Riyota after she had finished her explanation and general chatter. He chuckled softly, at least the other boy had spirit, he had a chance of being a valuable partner, if he could keep his attention where it was needed. "You will learn, just remember to practice. It's the only way to develop yourself and get better. And with an axe like that..." Suru would paused and gesture with his head at the over sized weapon, "It would probably be in your best interest so you do not hurt your squad members." For some he felt that it was necessary to point that out to the other boy, and it made him feel older than he was. He had a lot of moments like this and some time it bothered him, but for the most part he took it in stride. He would rather be mature and collected than immature and twitchy.
Suru's eyes shot back to Naoki as she asked if he wanted to question them about anything and ask about the sandworm. It was still a slightly sore subject for him as a few points during that fight he hadn't been so lucky to escape from getting hurt. He shook his head and sighed. "Nah, I don't have any questions... At least not yet." He paused a moment and ran a hand through his hair. "Well... It wasn't a real sandworm, it was a mechanical baby one but it was still a challenge. It looked real enough but we found out at the end that it was just something that someone had built." He didn't bother saying the name of the man who had brought it in, some day he would find him again and make him pay for what he did. Some day. "But it had burst through a wall when it came in, and Shiori-sensei wasn't even in the room! She had been locked out and was banging on the door through most of it. She hurt her wrist too..." Suru was getting mildly excited by this point, his voice rising a bit as he spoke. He was proud of himself, and the fact that he had managed to help destroy the thing. "I got bit though, and have a scar on my hip from it." He failed to add the part about the dictionary to the face but, that was more embarrassing than he cared to admit. "I mean, the fight didn't last that long... A few other students got killed... But I killed it in the end!" The young shinobi would wait for their responses before saying anything else. They probably had more questions about the incident as he didn't really go into much detail. He would've but he didn't know how much of his babbling they actually cared to listen to.
