Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[fontsize="12"]It is said that these warriors were created by the ancients from great ferocious beasts in ages long past. Though this may simply be a legend sprouted within the clan's days as nomads. This lost nomadic tribe is a clan originating in kaze no kuni, dating back before the formation of any shinobi villages as a nomadic clan that lived in the wilderness together with their bestial companions. Though some of the more primitive like qualities and habitats of the clan have been substituted for a more humane lifestyle, the clan itself has never separated, or weakened its bonds with their bestial kin, and view their beasts as family members, even as close as siblings rather than simple pets. Few possess such strong attachment and loyalty that can compare to the bond of an warrior and their counterpart, and fewer still can stand to this perfect combination in battle.

Bestial Companion - Passive
They form an unbreakable bond with a companion that is far more than your average pet. The companion is bonded close to the swordsman, and the warrior to them so that the two could be said to be two halves of a whole, or even share a soul. Whichever the case, the warrior and their spirit guide are inseparable, and can perfectly understand and communicate with each other, down to the simplest body gestures..

Rank 1: The user gains a beast ally! This ally has Hp equal to 30% of the warrior's Max Hp. Beast's base damage is 75% of the user's, and has -5 of the User's Secondaries.
Rank 2: The warrior's ally becomes stronger, having Hp equal to 40% of the warrior's Max Hp. Beast's base damage is 80% of the user's, and has -4 of the User's Secondaries.
Rank 3: The warrior's ally becomes perfectly trained, having Hp equal to 50% of the warrior's Max Hp. Beast's base damage is 85% of the user's Unarmed Damage, and has -3 of the User's Secondaries.

Notes:
- A player Gains a Beast upon gaining this bloodline.
- Beast has Ap equal to half the user's. Minimum of 1 Ap.

---

Loyalty to the Sword - Passive
There are few things stronger than the kinship felt between a swordsman and his/her Beast Companion, and so too does this apply to the incredibly deep loyalty any warrior feel's for their companions. During time's of danger, the warriors are prone to experiencing incredible surges of adrenaline that seem to give them super-human capabilities for a short moment, enough to protect others, enough to keep harm from befalling their companion.

Rank 1: If their Beast takes damage equal to 30% of it's max Hp during a round, the warrior gains +1 Secondaries for a full round. If the warrior takes damage equal to 30% of their max Hp during a round, the Beast gains +1 Secondaries for a full round.
Rank 2: If their Beast takes damage equal to 25% of it's max Hp during a round, the warrior gains +1.5 Secondaries for a full round. If the warrior takes damage equal to 25% of their max Hp during a round, the Beast gains +1.5 Secondaries for a full round.
Rank 3: If their Beast takes damage equal to 20% of it's max Hp during a round, the warrior gains +2 Secondaries for a full round. If the warrior takes damage equal to 20% of their max Hp during a round, the Beast gains +2 Secondaries for a full round.

Notes:
- This effect does not stack.
- For .5 Ap, The user may switch the target source of this ability, their Beast, with an ally in battle with them. The ally does not gain buffs, however if they take the required amount of damage, the warrior will gain the bonus.

---

Beast Visage - Passive
Just as their Bestial companion seems to be far more than your average Beast, seeming to possess human-level intelligence, so too does the warrior seem to lean towards a more Animalistic instinct, possessing razor sharp claws in place of frail nails, and sharp Bestial teeth, as well as a more beast-like personality.

Rank 1: Unarmed Attack's gain +5% Damage.
Rank 2: Unarmed Attack's gain +10% Damage.
Rank 3: Unarmed Attack's gain +15% Damage.

Notes:
- At all ranks, the warrior's Unarmed attacks deal Slashing damage with a chance to inflict bleeding penalties.
- The user is able to use Slashing Taijutsu with their Unarmed Weapons.

---

Enhanced Smell - Activated Passive
The animalistic traits of the warrior do not simply end at their physical appearance, but stems deeper into their senses. Bestials have a far more acute sense of smell that can perceive the world around them far more sharply than vision or hearing, and the warrior have the ability to increase their sense of smell to such a degree, tht thy can clearly smell and identify the area through various scents, and even pin point the location of others by smell alone.

Rank 1: User can smell 100 times better than normal humans. Grants +1 Awareness.
Rank 2: User can smell 150 times better than normal humans. Grants +2 Awareness.
Rank 3: User can smell 200 times better than normal humans. Grants +3 Awareness.

Rank 2: .5AP, 360 Chakra and 180/round.
Rank 3: .5AP, 500 Chakra and 250/round.

---

Air Dynamic Marking - Beast Jutsu
Though both the warrior and their companion possess a sharpen sense of smell, this creative technique seems to take advantage of their sense by the Bestial spraying and "Marking" a target with urine, allowing them to track them far more clearly than even by sight. The Urine itself, however, possesses a slightly acidic quality that can sting on contact, but even so it is an amusing to witness a Bestial perform this technique. How they manage such a feat in the middle of an acrobatic maneuver is unknown to even those with shinobi dexterity, however.

Rank 1: Takes a dump upon a unfortunate target, dealing 250 Damage.
Rank 2: Takes a dump upon a unfortunate target, dealing 500 Damage.
Rank 3: Takes a dump upon a unfortunate target, dealing 750 Damage.

---

Beast Clone - Specialty Clone Jutsu
A technique which allows the user and Bestial to morph to be more akin to the other, the familiar will becoming larger and more humanoid, while the user gains even more Bestial features. This technique results in 2 identical 'clones,' although the familiar is still not as strong as the warrior, though they both possess a feral appearance.

Rank 1: Beast gains +1 secondaries. The warrior Gains +1 Dodge.
Rank 2: Beast gains +1.5 secondaries and +5% Damage. The warrior Gains +1.5 Dodge and +5% Unarmed Damage.
Rank 3: Beast gains +2 secondaries and +10% Damage. The warrior Gains +2 Dodge and +10% Unarmed Damage.

Cost: 1.5 AP; 500 chakra, 250/round.

- The user and their Beast both appear as identical feral versions of the user.

Double Piercing Fang - Jutsu

[spoilername="Rp"]Surutameni was trapped, there wasn't much else he could do to explain his current predicament. How he got here, he couldn't quite remember but he was bruised and bloodied, and he could have swore that he had broken a rib or two. He took a deep breath in and winced at the intense stab of pain within his side that only served to support that thought. He looked to his assailants as his knuckles whitened with the force of the grip upon the hilt of his ancestral weapon, Tenka.
The figures that attacked him were strong and their chakra radiated with an intense dark power that he had no idea of their origin. These attackers were not human, that much was clear. Perhaps their appearance was due to the new found power the boy had acquired, perhaps it was his relation to the Toraono clan, who knows. The only thing that was in his mind was getting out of here, and surviving. The pack of them dove at him all together, and they were upon him like wolves to the slaughter before he could even get a chance to prepare himself. They slashed and clawed at him without relent, the boy’s form now coated in deep slashes and blood pouring down his limbs and onto the ground. Some how he managed to remain calm through it all and beat them back with a few of his own attacks, his sword flashing out swiftly against each of the inhuman creatures. He panted heavily and steeled his mind as he took to the offensive, battling the creatures back. He managed to finish one with a swift slash to the neck, and the severed head fell and disappeared as the shadowy form dissipated from existence. The few remaining creatures looked to each other and then back to Suru, snarling and baring their fangs at him, ready to go all out.
The boy once more took a deep breath, ignoring the pain that dashed through him. He raised his weapon, ready to end this before they overtook him. They dove for him again and he flung himself into the fray without even a thought for his own safety. The blade sliced through the air easily, and the wind whistled over the blade as he plunged it into each creature in turn. They screamed an otherworldly cry as each disappeared from existence, the boy now panting heavily and cringing with the pain in his side. He looked up and let a sinister smile creep over his face when he realized that he was now clear of the danger. His mind was clear and calm in spite of the danger he had been in. Finally, he could relax and as he did, his hand found his side and clutched at it gingerly. He would need to find a medic before too long, and that was exactly what he planned on finding as he left the area he had been in, blood dripping from him as he walked.

[spoilername="Rp"]Surutameni stood in front of a relatively large sized boulder, it was half his height, but even so it was probably four or fives times his own weight if not more. He sighed and glared at the rock, trying to best decide how to go about this rather unruly task of cleaning up his training area that someone had, oh so gracefully destroyed with plenty of large shards of the buildings around him. He remembered watched Senshi-Sensei lifting the gigantic boulder the day they had met, and thought that now would be as good of a time as any to see if he could muster up the strength to mimic his great teacher. As he gripped the rock by it's "bottom" he began to attempt to pull up at the same time, the rock refused to move. It was planted and holding fast. The stubborn boy kicked the rock idly, trying to think of a way to do this, but to no avail. So, he defaulted to trying to push and pull at the boulder, it began to inch forward slowly. Painfully slow to be honest, the inches weren't gaining very fast, so the boy grit his teeth, grabbed the base of the over-sized rock and pulled up with all of his might. His limbs strained and he grunted loudly, just as to his surprise he managed to lift that unruly hunk of stone. Surutameni's eyes lit up in wonder and amusement as he laughed and dragged it to the side of the area. The rest, well that would be another day, but he succeeded in moving one, and that was a step in the right direction.

Quick Reaction

Some shinobi are able to move and react at a quicker pace than others. [spoilername="Rp"]Darting through the streets with his ever faithful companion, Surutameni enjoyed his free time with a spontaneous romp back to the Grand Palais to visit his family. Along the way he came across a group of students of the Shinobi Academy who seemed to be enjoying the past time of ill repute, bullying. The smile upon Suru's fell as he witnessed the events unfolding in front of his very eyes. As the black haired boy approached the students turned as they heard his foot steps and panting breath. They rounded upon him and began to throw small pebbles and a couple of the larger ones even had the audacity to charge him after they kicked the child who was curled upon the ground. Unmei dove at the first boy with a loud caw and swiftly dispatched the child, sending him crying back to his mommy for sure. Although the other made a bee-line straight for Suru, who's heart rate speed up with adrenaline. The child ahead of his yelled as he lept for the boy, who at the last second dodged the tackle with a sense of ease that seemed to come from years of dodging an agitated crows. The child scrambled to his feet after hitting the earth hard, and threw a punch at the black haired child before him. Surutameni once again quick on his feet, dodged the attack, and in the moment he spotted an opening and took it. He slammed his knee into the child's chest and dropped him like a rock. After witnessing these events the others backed off and ran away down the streets.

[spoilername="Rp"]Surutameni wandered through the alleyways of the Grand Palais, until he came upon the Market District. He paused and looked about, it was busy as per usual, but something seemed off. There was a commotion over by a particular vendor that the boy frequently visited, he and the owner had become friends on one of his many escapades through to visit the crows. As he approached he saw a drunk man stumbling around a woman, who obviously did not appreciate his advances. Surutameni gathered his strength and marched up to the drunkard. Pulling on his shirt, he gathered the man's attention. He laughed at the small boy and pushed him away, mocking him for apparently not understanding women.
"Move along, kid. There's nothing to see here."
But Surutameni refused to leave. He grabbed the man's shirt once more and pulled on it, hard. This time the man elbowed him in the chest, staggering him backwards. The wind was knocked from him, but once more Surutameni refused to give up.The woman was now looking to the boy near her, and gave him a sorrowful looking, attempting to get him to leave before he was seriously injured.
"I said knock it off, kid!"
The man was getting agitated by Suru's persistence in refusing to let him languish his booze-smelling "affections" on "his" woman. And still Surutameni denied him what he wanted. He grabbed the man by the belt and yanked him backwards, thanks to the alcohol the man tumbled backwards and landed on his rump in the street. He growled menacingly has he stood and back-handed the amber-eyed boy square across the face. His head snapped to the side as the blow cracked audibly through the market place. As he looked back at the man, his eyes darkened and he lifted a hand to his nose. It was bleeding, but not broken thankfully. No sooner had he wiped the blood from his face he launched himself at the man, fists flying.

- When either of the above effects trigger, the target will take an additional +.5% Max Hp damage per round from bleeding on top of their current Bleeding damage. This does not stack.[/fontsize]

[spoilername="Rp"]Blood. The sticky liquid was everywhere, congealing upon the floor and the walls of one of the back alleyways of the Market District. Something had happened here, that was for sure, and Surutameni stood there, in a daze just simply staring at the red colored puddle in morbid fascination. He had always had this odd affinity for the life force of everything, and it was appealing to him as he stooped down and dipped a finger or two within the coagulating pool. As he removed his digits from the red stuff, tendrils that attached themselves to him and to the puddle seemed to grip and pull at him, asking or even begging him to bring his contact back. Even though the blood wasn't living per say it still called to the boy, pulled at his very soul as it worked within him to keep his attention.

[spoilername="Rp"]Surutameni was breathing heavily as the thugs came at him again, they weren't particularly skilled but there were more of them than there were of him and his clothing was covered in small cuts and rips from where their knives had caught and broken through. The young Shinobi prepared himself once more for their assault, taking a deep breath to prepare his body to move when he needed to. As they lunged at him, he swiftly dodged one strike and then another, the only thing being caught by the blades was the hood of his jacket. One thug crashed into a second one, the two immediately starting to bicker as the boy worked his way through the small group. The last ones swung at him again and this time he caused one to trip and as the thug fell, they tried to clasp onto something, anything and managed to cling onto the one before them. The arguing grew louder as the newest idiots fell into each other and snapped, the previous turning onto the others as they were barreled into by two more bodies. They had lost interest in Suru at this point, and he took that moment to take his leave, promptly dashing out of the alleyway and away before they even had a moment's notice.
