Osu joined Riku in their own little secluded corner of the arena. Though it was no different than any other part of the arena. The wind picked up as Riku was off to strike at Osu. however, before he could get any closer, Osu summoned a rifle out of blood and shot straight for Riku. 'A head on counter, huh?' With the momentum Riku had already obtained, he lunged to the side to avoid such an attack. The blood bullet passed right by him and crashed into the side of the arena, creating a massive crash in the wall. Astonishing. Surely if Riku had been struck with that, he would have been severely injured right there.
He turned back towards the action to see Osu fire a shot in the wrong direction. But Riku misread the technique. The bullet curved in it's path to strike him in the ribs. Luckily for Riku, it wasn't nearly as strong as the first one he had dodged. Riku stopped in his tracks to assess his damage, thankful it would just end up being a bruise. It may be a large bruise, but a bruise nonetheless.
Now it was Riku's chance to counter. Again, the boy was off towards his target once more. Each step bridging the gap quickly. If Osu paid enough attention, he could see Riku locating a smoke bomb from his weapons pouch just before tossing in at Osu, causing the younger of the two to become enveloped in a cloud of smoke. Maybe it was a cheap shot, but Riku believe to give it once all, whether training or not. Including cheap tricks. Just as he reached the smoke cloud, Riku launched himself into the air and down into the midst of the smoke along with his target. Striking at Osu once from the back, and then again from the left side before maneuvering in front of Osu and kicking him in the stomach. A strong enough kick that would send him out of the cloud just as it dispersed.
As the smoke finished clearing, Riku raised his gauntlets once more in a boxing stance, ready for whatever Osu threw at him next. If he was still able to stand, that is.
