[Okada Kaji]

Man and beast were on the charge, diligently positioning themselves to act and react against the living will of a false idol, and the machinations of their sinister pact. The rush of adrenaline pumping through Kaji overpowered the excruciating pain of the lesion in his side. It was the kind of pain that made him question the meaning of their contest; though, the longer he clashed with Kaen, the more clarity he found. Something greater was at stake, and with every sword swing, Kaji believed that enlightenment was another step closer. Undaunted, Kaji and Teichou both accelerated—
“Over,” roared the reptilian titan, and “under” was shouted back by Kaji, chanted in unison as they initiated their counter assault!

The wrath of the dragon swept over Kaen and the harbinger, striking first to create an opening. Fangs, claws, and tail spun like a five thousand pound death machine. The hurricane of Teichou’s barrage gnashed them both, pressing Mother Suna’s vassal and his fiend with a dose of their own medicine. The devastation dealt to the harbinger by Tokage Ryu’s cleaving strike exceeded his threshold, effectively clipping a wing and hamstringing the fiend into a useless state. "Go through that," Teichou chided the fiend. And the Harbinger knew it was so: it was devastated by the One-Eyed Titan Lizard’s riposte until he could serve no purpose aside from fiery banishment, back to the lower planes.

The dust stirred by the behemoth’s flurry of action did well to mask Kaji, allowing for expert timing as Kaji emerged. Each attempt at striking came as a gamble, as Kaji recognized inconsistencies in Kaen’s curse’s power. Kaji sought to immobilize him this time though, and flew behind Kaen with Eelspine trailing, positioned for a clean blow.

There was power to behold in the combination of Kaji and Teichou, so much that Kaen began firing frantically in desperation. He was invoking the blessings of his benefactor all this time, and now unleashing it all in fiery blazes, one after another. But then, out of all the reckless misses fired into the air, the illumination cast a tall shadow behind Kaji, revealing him as he passed around the flame lord’s blind side. Kaji lived in Kaen’s blind side until that point, and was exploiting it until Kaen made one timely blast, a blessing directly from Mother Suna, or so it seemed.

Seething flames washed over Kaji’s backside, attempting to devour him whole, and burn him to black cinders. The force was dense and hit him like an explosion, removing his balance and casting him to the ground. Kaji skid to a stop with dust and ash rolling around him, and he felt true agony setting in. His vision was spinning in the moment, and the rush of Teichou coming to his aid, thumping across the ground made a distant echo he barely registered. The only thing clear to him was the pain. That was close... beyond close. But before the enemy could capitalize on his success, Teichou was there. He swatted away the lesser fiend that was still in Kaen’s control, and tore through Kaen with a ripping bite meant to remind him that the fight was not yet over!

[Kaen]

The smoke was thick and heavy on his lungs. His own fire and brimstone were starting to singe his eyes. Kaji remained masked by the darkness that the cloud of smoke and debris casted over the arena. Kaji and is lizard compatriot were a cunning and deadly duo to be sure. They quickly dispatched Kaen's demonic harbinger of doom, casting him back down into the fiery pits of hell. The blow struck true and hard and caused the cataclysmic explosion that would do the harbinger in. Before the final moment culminated to fruition, the demon made one last promise. "Striking me down will only delay the inevitable. Be sure that our paths will cross again before your final demise. You cannot comprehend the full power of the dark side... Hue Hue HUE HUE AAAAAAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!" The fiery fiend chuckled and choked on the boiling lava that was in own blood before finally exploding into viscous flaming shrapnel that now littered the stands and inner walls of the stadium. "Tch..." Kaen found the failure behind his harbinger to be a flaw in his tactics somehow. He would attempt to invade the mind of this Kaji, but the bastard remained out of sight. "Very well... If you wish to hide, I will destroy this entire building searching for YOU!" Kaen roared his words from the shadows and tilted his head back and spewed forth a raging inferno of flames that trailed back and forth encircling the entirety of the arena. He would find him, and when he did, he would end him!

The arena's inner walls began to glow a strange and eerie hue of white. Like out of strange other fiction, Kaen stood in the center of the ring with both hands held upward towards the sky. "Suna is my strength and power, she maketh my path perfect and true... This ends NOW!" Kaen thrusted his hands downward and a blinding flash illuminated the battlegrounds. A glowing white light would light up the area as if the transformation was from night to day. Surely anyone in the vicinity would have seen such a display of power. As the dust settled in the aftermath of Kaen's brilliant display of god-like powers, there laid Kaji, burnt and broken. Kaen slowly approached the injured Leaf ninja. "I can feel it now, your body failing you. Your spirit is breaking under the weight of Mother Suna's might. It was inevitable... His final words swept away in the wind as Kaen vanished into the darkness once more. The power that fueled him seemed to know no limits. How was Kaji to make it out of this alive?

[Tatsuo]

"Watch out!" Tatsuo shouted as a new flurry of fireballs went to barrage against Tatsuo and Hoshi. Quickly slapping both of his hands on the ground, a large wooden half dome covered the two. Providing them a barrier from any strikes but from behind. Tatsuo began to break out into sweat, this wasn't just a spectating anymore. If Kaji were to lose, who would stop this fanatic from attacking both Hoshi and Tatsuo. He kept funnelling chakra into the wall as fiery bits crashed into it, damaging the service of his wall which was quickly repaired by his own chakra. "Hoshi, tell me if anything big comes at us." he'd say as he continued to pour his chakra into the wall, fortifying it to the best of his abilities.

[Shouyu Hoshi]

Shouyu continued to watched with his eyes flexed, encased in Tatsuo's wood dome. It seemed the battle was still about stealth as the combatants shifted through the shadows. Kaji was ever swift making flawless strikes against Kaen in the darkness of which Shouyu would respond with quick, "Oohh's." Teichou and Kaji successfully took down the harbinger whio cursed them with his final words before erupting in his own detonating blood. Shouyu braced himself inside the dome, the shrapnel shredding their form of protection but Tatsuo was quick to repair it. Shouyu caught eyes of Kaji doing something... and then vanishing!

"Whoa, what the!"

Shouyu was perplexed on how these ninja would shift in and out of stealth. Kaen's response was most terrifying, he appeared a demon warrior of this Mother Suna. Shouyu was compelled by Kaji's courage to continue battling with someone of so much passion. As if his eerie aura wasn't strange enough he began to bombard the arena with fireballs consecutively, some even coming close! If were one to directly collide with this barrier they would be toast! Shouyu figured it to be luck until the arena lit up like a morning Kumo sun, it was eerily quiet...

"Tat...suo..."

Shouyu tried to break himself out of the wooden barrier having foreseen some immense attack about to flood the arena, he worried of this protection would even manage such attack. He was blinded temporarily, and almost dazed. Once his vision was returned to him slowly coming back in blinks. He could see the chakra form of Kaji crawling away seeming hurt. It must have been a direct hit, but how?! He could see Teichou running to his defense, but he was worried.

[Yaku]

The build up of chakra was immense. Sara knew something was to come, but what...it was much worse then she thought. She had but a split second, trying to hide behind a walled corridor as the bath of light washed over. The light was horribly painful, striking the nerves causing her eyes to burn. The figures in the ring just melded with the explosion of chakra, turning into one large blob as she crossed behind the wall. The entire walkway was blinding, washed in white showing every crack within. It took a few seconds for her to shake off the pain weaving some handseals and relieving the pain best she could.

She would go back to where she stood, seeing the carnage down below. The damage was fantastic, but managed to do but little damage to the lackluster crowd. It was fortunate that very few were here, otherwise that might have been a most horrific story within this village. The few that were around were running out of the arena, minor burns being there memento. The boy Tatsuo erected a barrier, trying to protect himself and Hoshi to the best of his abilities. He was managing, that was a good sign.

The two within the ring of death on the other hand, not so much. Both of the main guys had taken quite the beating, Kaji managing to do quite a bit of damage prior to the carnage that was the burning man's last move. But in return, he left himself open and the dragon holding firm of him to protect his master. She was sure he hadn't another one of those in him at least, but he wouldn't need to much more either. She watched as Kaji again vanished in the shadows, most certainly trying to regain some momentum from that last strike. She was wide eyed now, watching closely every small action that would occur. Both of them would be energized to prove themselves in the last ditch effort that was upon them. Though she didn't need things to go to far, which it seemed, at the very least, Kaji's opponent wouldn't bat an eye to.

[Okada Kaji]

A guttural growl rolled out from Kaji as he struggled, still landing on his stomach over scorched earth. The sounds of Teichou commanding him to hold onto consciousness was like an anchor for Kaji; a literal chain wrapped around his waist as he perceived himself hanging at the start of a black void. This was his internal struggle as the infernal curse continued eating at his physical form. “Hold fast, Kaji!” The voice of Teichou was echoing to him as he dangled in the darkness, in the silence, with his eyes open and staring into the abyss. “Don’t give in,” the emboldened behemoth’s chanting continued to seep through, into the darkness, “they don’t want you to win. ‘It's the abyss trying to claim ‘yer soul… you have to fight!”

Perhaps it would have been easier to just give in, to let this excruciation come to an end and see what awaited him beyond this miserable life. There was no legacy for Kaji to consider, no fortune to leave behind, and no one to— it was then that he came to his senses to an important realization. He had to consider everyone he fought for; if not him, the vassal of Mother Suna would have chosen someone to burn. During the battle, Kaji recognized more than one familiar face peppered into the background, watching the events unfold. What would become of them if he let Kaen walk free?

“NO” Kaji unleashed a resisting roar as he snapped back to reality. Every fabric of his being was called into action as he climbed up from the ground, first to his knees and then higher upright. He peered across the battlefield through his crimson mask, body swaying, and glared at the vision of light burning within a mist of red vapor. Mother Suna’s vassal was willing to burn himself away as a tribute to his benefactor and sought to destroy Kaji with him as a worthwhile sacrifice. However, Kaji had yet to reach his limit and had a final measure left to resort to: The Seal of Duality.

Kaji set his hands to work, shakily coming together as he formed a single modified Tiger Seal. “Curse Seal, Release!” He was engorged with chakra and a glowing symbol on his chest; then bands of pitch-black stripes began streaking across his physique from end to end. Two black bands striped vertically over his jawline to his cheeks and eyes and spread to blacken his sclera all the same. The green pupils in his eyes began to glow like bright rings, staring, locked onto Kaen.

All the meanwhile, Teichou was vigilantly on the hunt, aware that Kaen still had another fiend lurking, most likely waiting for an opportunity to catch the recovering Kaji off his guard. The gargantuan lizard struck true through the rolling red smoke and cleaved through the last fiend under Kaen’s command. And as if on cue, Kaji took action and set off across the battlefield with Eelspine in hand, glowing mighty and emeraldine. The power of Kaji’s Seal of Duality gave him movement where his body failed, practically merged with his previous jutsu in his ultimate form. “Teichou” commanded Kaji, and his partner knew just what Kaji intended. The mighty lizard whipped his tail and sent his blade flying through the red smoke. The blade seemed to be headed for the rafters until Kaji emerged airborne and plucked the massive scimitar out of the sky.

Kaji was coming down from above with both Eelspine and Tokage-Ryu in his command, prepared to unleash a final, deciding blow. The light within the red fog was centered in Kaji’s crosshairs— the end was here and he knew it. He closed in with a gliding motion, yet a burst of chakra split the red vapor apart just a split second before impact. A final wave of fiery chakra signaled the end of it all as Kaen was revealed, charred and depleted. Kaji stood beside him, seemingly merciful, though the decision was decided before he had a chance to make an impact. It was over. Both shinobi collapsed: first Kaen fell flat, but Kaji stumbled away, trying to maintain his stance before crumbling and slamming to the ground on his side. Kaji rolled slightly, trying not to lay on his more-devastated side. He was in critical condition, but maintained some level of consciousness, for the time being, perhaps trying to soak in his last moments of life before bleeding out. “Oh f*ck” he gasped, trying to cope with immeasurable amounts of pain and onset delirium.

“Hey, you kids!” Teichou remained on the field and marched dominantly besides the two fallen shinobi with his attention scanning the stands. “Get down here” he bade them: Tatsuo, Hoshi, and Sara, as if they were all merely whelps under his charge now. “He’s critical but we can save ‘em… call us a medic or we’ll have two dead ‘uns for ya to dig graves.” The mighty komodo dragon swung his head around to examine Kaji closely, watching as his curse seal receding once victory had been determined. The lizard was neither approving or disappointed by Kaji’s battle and merely observed for the moment.

[Kaen]

By this time Kaen's eyes had already begun to blur. His motions sluggish and lethargic as he slowly lost feeling in his body. The toll on his body was becoming to much for any man to bear, even one such as he. Burns had now covered most of his body as the overwhelming power he possessed burned even he. Blisters slowly overtook and replaced his skin and burst in sequence in excruciating pain. Everything else seemed quite now, somehow. Kaen's labored breathing seemed to echo in his mind as he approached Kaji who was also in a similar state of being. In a last ditch effort Kaen decided that there were no other paths to take than to just take Kaji with him. In a brilliant flash it all culminated into a ferocious, flaming explosion. But sadly it was not enough, Kaen tried to move but was completely spent. From a distance he could see a metamorphic change happening with Kaji. "Heh... Even at the end of your ropes you still have tricks up your sleeve." Kaen looked down towards the blood soaked, scorched dirt and smiled. He had found a worthy foe this day, it was a shame it was all about to end.

Kaen raised his head to greet the gleaming light that was Kaji plunging down onto Kaen, delivering the final blow that barely moved him. The cut was clean and concise, he was truly a example to behold. Such speed, such agility... Truly a perfect guardian. Everything seemed to freeze for the fewest of moments. Facing away from each other he said he final words as he coughed up some blood, to Kaji. "You are indeed worthy to walk this path... *cough* I... Send word to my sister Kasen and let her know... I failed again..." Kaen let out a last gasping breath as he fell to his knees. His blank stare blurred slowly into darkness as he reached upwards into the sky. With a quiet thud his body hit the ground and he was gone... The area now lay tattered and worn to a state of dismay. Repairs were surely going to be required, it's surprising indeed that the spectators were able to make it out unscathed... But perhaps this was the will of Mother Suna? After all she is inherently different than him, the courts of Flame and Earth are quite different in concept. He already failed her first commands... given a second chance, surely he would prevail... But this Kaji of Leaf was indeed his perfect match. These fleeting thoughts slowly seeped away into the infinite abyss that attempts to pull Kaen further and further into the realm of nothingness. Only time would tell of this wayward Sunan's fate...

[Shouyu Hoshi]

This fight was concluding and fast, with his Byakugan, he could view the withering chakra coils of Kaen and Kaji, Kaen appearing more low on chakra itself then Kaji, but he too beaten and battered. Even with that roll on his physical, he appeared to be unleashing a forbidden power similar to Kaen's but different. The shroud of the impending action was thick, but still Teichou and Kaen were in unison.

Kaen let loose his final outburst that missed its mark, meanwhile Kaji flew in acrobatically with his final blow. This was a sight to behold, sure enough Hoshi stood on the top of toes, eyes wide at the view. Both Shinobi were down, one clearly more out of it than the other. He had a gut feeling that this was more than just some typical challenge. Teichou roared out for assistance, truly only confirming Hoshi's suspicion of Kaji's critical condition. Hoshi was still encased within Tatsuo's wood jutsu he'd kneel down and bring finger into his ear as he'd report of the ANBU com within code so Tatsuo wouldn't know.

Tatsuo hopped down into the arena immediately as Teichou guided them to do so, he was stuck in the barrier so he wasn't able to see most of the battle but he wasn't the most accomplished medic but he knew a thing or two. Running towards Kaji he made a hand seal which would wrap his sensei in a small case of wood. While it wouldn't do too much, it'd heal some of the more minor wounds he had as he waited for another medic to arrive. Turning to Hoshi as he maintained his hand seal, and the healing of Kaji. "Hoshi! Go get a medic or something! For both of them I think.." he said looking over to Kaen, despite thinking he shouldn't be healed at all. He wasn't one to pass judgement he was just a kid after all. He looked up to the huge lizard, "Will he be okay?" the boy said as he pursed his lips.

The natural energy wasn't the most powerful healing factor, but it was enough at least hopefully to bring Kaji some much needed comfort after the intense battle he had just endured. Hopefully this would help prevent any permanent scarring, but Tatsuo wasn't sure of that. He was more worried about his Sensei's life, less than his physical appearance. But there was a small bit of nationalistic pride which filled him up with vigor. He was happy to have his Sensei and a ninja of his village win rather than some foreigner. Hopefully the Leaf would have many more victories to come.

Yuuto was casually reading the newspaper, researching apartments considering he still was staying in a hotel. He was out by the coliseum which had an unusual amount of traffic today. People were rushing out of the coliseum, congesting the general area, while Yuuto stood a good distance away. He started walking away from the structure, until he heard a giant bang of fire, turning around Yuuto saw that a giant demon had risen from the ground, tall enough that it was towering. Curious of the creature's nature and origin, he activated his Sharingan , the blood red eye forming with three swirling black tomoe. His vision became a tint of red, with the only thing of individual color being chakra (energy) around them. . It's chakra signature however seemed to be that of anothers, through and through it was a tethered summon. Someone in the arena had activated it. Yuu activated chakra on his feet and bounced scaling higher ground to look at the Coliseum from a safe vantage point.

The demon itself reminded him of his Shadow Summons, much like Ignis in fact who was a spectre of a Demon's soul. However Ignis was completely devoted, and this guy's creature seemed to almost fight of its own volition. This fighter's demon caused damage to the Coliseum, and now he could deem that this battle was going too far or the warrior was losing control. It wasn't too long before the demon would suffer a catastrophic blow that caused a huge explosion. Yuuto satisfied with the demon's destruction began to read his newspaper again not fully paying attention until a radio call came in.

<B><U><I>"Medics at the coliseum. Now! Alert Kagetsu Yuii as well. It appears we have a vandal unconscious."

"Shit's hitting the fan isn't it?" he would say to himself before biting his thumb; Yuuto tore into his thumb breaking through the skin to let blood leak. He didn't even whince at the sharp pain he should have felt thanks to his newfound sturdiness. He then began weaving hand-seals spending the next six seconds charging a large amount of chakra. Once he had gotten his fill Yuuto slammed his hand to the ground unleashing a seal and a large puff of smoke.

From out the smoke came Gamabunta, the General of the Toad Domain and Toad Contract. He was something of a big boss, being that he was one of the strongest of the Toad Clan. He himself was a Giant orange and red toad, with that had a scar over his left eye. He wore a blue kimono and adorned a blade and a tobacco pipe. Gamabunta took a large hit of his pipe and then bellowed smoke into the air before addressing Yuuto who now stood on his back.

"Which one of you rowdy bastards summoned me?" The Toad boss bellowed, his voice vibrating through the air. He rolled a pupil to set vision on Yuuto, recognizing him if nothing else due to the blood contract that he and their clan made."Masaru Yuuto eh? It's been a long time, what's so dangerous that you went through the effort to summon me?"

"There might be demons invading the Coliseum. I figured if I have to go in fighting, then I'd rather have the Big Boss with me. Betters my chances." Yuuto said cooly, While peeking ahead at the Coliseum, he could see smoke from the fizzled flames, and a large amount of dark chakra dancing around the field. There was also another large Chakra source in the area, something that could make Gamabunta's warts wiggle.

"Well that much is right, big threats don't suit my little guys".

Yes, vain as ever, Yuuto thought to himself while Gamabunta accepted the praise before leaping high into the air. He was an expert at handling his weight and movement. Seeing as though Yuuto was close enough to see the demon already, it only took three extremely careful and precise leaps until Gamabunta soared above the arena landing in one of the abandoned stand sections. He instantly eyed down the Giant Lizard, who appeared to be similar in stature. Gamabunta gripped the hilt of his sword ready for trouble, the question was would he be the one to make it or end it?

"What happened here?" the toad spoke up as if he was in charge.

Yuuto jumped off Gamabunta's back and dashed to the unconcious and critical Kaji and Kaen. He would force more chakra and strain his newly gained Sharingan, to contort and evolve into the Mangekyou Sharingan.

Now with greater clarity, Yuuto would be able to pinpoint the biggest sources of damage, and even though he didn't have the Byakugan he did have the Sharingan an eye of equal if not greater power. He did however notice there were two more there, people who seemed to be trying to help. He noticed one had the Byakugan and was in a case of wood. There was another guy on the ground who was badly injured and had a case of wood around him too. Yuuto could see the jutsu's chakra turning into that of medical chakra to heal the unconcious guy. It was a smart move.

"Good work, I'm Masaru Yuuto, a Medical Chief, I'll take over from here."

With his Mangekyou Sharingan he examined both his patients.

The one with the wooden case around him (Kaji) wasn't in the worst of conditions. He did have burn marks on his body, and was extremely exhausted. His condition while bad was not the worse of the two. The other one had extreme scorch marks all over his body to the point that they were blistering and boiling his skin. He had minor cuts on his body. Yuuto took note of the dark chakra emanating from him as if he was possessed with something truly evil. The worst part is Yuuto didn't even address the cursed seal that this idiot decided to use which only agitated his already erratic fire chakra.

Yuuto wanted to take care of the priority, but he also realized Kaji wasn't in good health. So he figured he would be better off healing them both at the same time. Yuuto took out his mic and began to channel sound chakra into it bringing the musical instrument close to his lips as he began singing Danny C's smooth track Get You.

"Through drought and famine / natural disasters / my baby has been around for meee/ kingdoms have fallen angels be ca-a-lling none of that could ever make me leave / Every time I look into your eyes I seee it / You're all I need / Every time I get a bit inside I feel it/ Whoooooo who would've thought I'd get youu / Whooooo who would've thought I'd get youu"

While singing he was using Angelic Blessing, using his Sound Affinity he could convert this Medical Ninjutsu into a Sound one, spreading its radius to that of Kaen as well. The Jutsu would begin to instantly heal them, closing their cuts and battered limbs over time. With luck this would handle their troubles of their system pains, but as far as broken limbs and bleeding would be concerned they would be fine.

Next he had to do something about Kaen's destructive Chakra. It was as if his own chakra was burning him alive, and the cursed seal didn't help. If ones chakra extinguished and they continued to fight they're literally tearing at their life force. So he had to do something to ease those pains, Yuuto would use System Restoration, doing the same shtick with his Sound Affinity. Kaen's body would stave off some of the ailments (debuffs) that were affecting him.

Yuuto would then sing one more Medical Ninjutsu into the mix, Regeneration, once again using his affinity for sound to heal the two in front of him simultaneously using his Healing Mastery [Paramedic] to increase the potency of his Medical Jutsu. The two of his patients would be getting a large amount of health back into them at once, attempting to stabilize them forcefully with a healing force. The perks of having medics around you.

The Med Chief would stop Mid Song to address the people around him. "Can anyone explain to me how this happened?" He'd continue humming and mumbling, now done singing his jutsu, but simply keeping the chakra pouring into them.

He'd also notice Yuuto had three different chakra colors; Teal, Emerald, and Gold. Each of these colors taking up an equal portion of him. Also unlike other people, Yuuto has three Sharingan eyes, the third eye on his forehead also taking the appearance of the Sharingan.

[Yaku]

From atop the walls of the arena, Sara watched as both of the fighters dropped from exhaustion. She smiled a little, glad that she wouldn't have to jump in and take down either one in the end. For the tiniest sliver of a moment, she thought she would have to take Kaji out, and that certainly wouldn't win her any points from either... And even in his demise, the man that somehow was able to transfer injuries had tried something but it wasn't enough. She could tell he was more out of it then her companion. But it could have been considered admirable...if it had been a real mission, rather then a fight for fun.

The genin were the first to make it to the arena grounds, being called by the giant lizard. She wanted to wait a moment though, assessing the situation and seeing if the fight was truly over, but since they jumped in, they would either be in the fray, or perfectly safe if the fight was over. Both situations would require her to join them of course. She breathed hardily, now wiping through several handseals. It was just as she finished a giant frog soared overhead, landing in a second nearby, causing her to pause. She saw him start to weave some seals, and she continued hers now, moving a little quicker. 'Maybe a friend of that guy?', she thought. Just as he finished his first jutsu, light emanated from her, growing wider by the second. The oddness of it would be troubling at first, but it's effects would soon be felt. After it expanded enough, and Sara had enough control over it, she slowly jumped down from her lookout and headed for the group below.

As the field took them within, they would feel an odd sensation, each of them. Tatsuo, Kaji, Kaen and Hoshi were encapsulated within a smaller dome of light, that even sparkled with healing chakra. They were each under her protection now, same as Tatsuo and Kaen were under the newcomers. He had used a medical jutsu on the two injured, which she recognized shortly after she would make it below. But at the moment, she wasn't sure if he was a hostile or not and used her's on everyone just in case someone did something stupid or the newcomer wasn't a friendly. Tatsuo was already placing Kaji in a casket of wood as her jutsu made it to them, but it would take a few to make it all the way down. Within the final level from the ground Sara made a leap from the side out to the arena floor, weaving another set of handseals turning her into 3. As they all landed, two of the figures went over to team Kaji, and would help with minor healing. The last figure, headed to the opponent that everyone was seeming to keep distance from.

The two walked up to the boys, one of them spoke to Hoshi and Tatsuo with worry, "Are you two alright? Both of you stuck pretty close to the fray." Any wounds that might have occurred would be taken care of by Sara's original jutsu, but just incase she still asked, and started to look them over carefully. "I need to check and make sure neither of you got hit by any of that debris and just don't feel it yet."

The other Sara went to the newcomer, hearing his questions and offering answers. Though she tried to keep it on the lighter side. "A little fight to represent two well known hidden villages. Just the two of them were a little to into it obviously." The girl walked up to the three eyed man. Sara of course was on the top of the stadium and hadn't gotten his name. She looked behind him at the giant Toad whom seemed disgruntled. Sara spoke with disdain and an intent of animosity towards the man. Flaring into a quick rage, "I am the chief medical ninja and here to keep the peace. Who are you! Are...you here to help? Or is he going to attack?", pointing at the giant frog.

Sara was smart enough to send the clone to the newcomer. She wasn't sure just yet that he was a friendly and pretty sure he was looking to cause problems. She hadn't heard the call for help over the coms, and his overly dramatic entrance wasn't helping. So the clone was going to treat him as a hostile, to suss out any intentions from him.

"Hey, tell me, where does it hurt." She said with some laughter as she walked up to the downed man. It was cruel of her, but some of the wounds were self inflicted, and to make it worse, willing to be taken. It was a few seconds later she realized he was unconscious, and now she spoke with some haste and concerning anger, "Shit, this isn't good!" The young girl weaved some handseals and placed them onto Kaen's body. A second barrier would surround his body, and any maintained effects on him would vanish. As he jutsu would activate, his cuts and wounds were already healing, much much to fast. It had to be from the other guy, but what jutsu was it? She attempted to use a jutsu known as Resuscitate that would have done the same thing, but it wasn't her doing, she was sure. It might have been overkill, and very stupid on her part, casting two A rank barrier jutsu's on the guy. Just as the others were, she too was wary of him. His willingness to go so far for no reason was something to be alert of. She contemplated about stealing what chakra he had left, but she was afraid it might push him to much. The guy might not come out of his unconsciousness, and that wouldn't be a good thing, especially for Kaji. Whom knows how such could be construed. She needed him to wake up!

It was a few seconds after that she realized what jutsu had been used on him. It seemed he used the jutsu also on Kaji, now being on such edge to put several points together. Sara was one of those people that did better under harsh conditions. She hadn't realized that he used the same jutsu on both of them, but rather that he was only helping one of them. She spoke under breath, "Shit...I hope that clone didn't go to far.."

"Please don't move, I promise you will be alright soon." Sara was pumping out some major amounts of chakra right now, and if he choose to do something, or had some trick up his sleeve, or something else, she didn't want to be completely at a disadvantage. Though, she also wanted to check something else as well. If he was able to transmit damage from himself to Kaji, could he also transmit healing?

[Kagetsu Yuii]

It is said, the Anbu of Kumogakure have eyes everywhere. While the truth was not so impressive, but they were prompt and they were meticulous in an emergency. One had alerted Yuii to the competition gone wrong in the coliseum minutes before the call came in for her to attend. Storms of fire and monumental arena damage weren't exactly subtle, subdued happenings nor, much to Yuii's chagrin as the single remaining Sennin, were they something you called your Raikage into the middle of. A curse of Junko for being out of town, she thought while rushing to the scene, a couple of wounded meat heads going above and beyond to punch each other stupid was MUCH more in his job description than hers. While she was at it, a double curse for whats-his-face who had managed to get himself kicked from Sennin of the Ansatsu. This wasn't her damn branch either.

Anbu had stationed themselves around the perimeter immediately to block the curious and stupid from rushing to see what was happening, though they'd done nothing to deal with one toad riding medic.

Yuii arrived just in time to hear the tiniest medic's dismissive explanation of the events unfolded. "A little into it?" she echoed, materialising at a run through the coliseum wall from whence she had been summoned, "I'm not sure how you do things in Konoha, but in Kumo massive property isn't a 'little into it." Her oversized canary yellow sweater and green and grey tights hardly looked like combat gear and she looked, as usual, to have just climbed from bed, but Yuii had been ready for a fight. In light of the string of demon possession related incidences, she had needed to be ready to stop the instigator of such destruction, but mercifully, the conflict had already ended.

As she approached Tatsuo and the two exceptional healers who had taken care of the immediate damage control with amazing speed, Yuii scanned and absorbed the scene. The building had sustained a good amount of damage, something that was not easily for to a stone structure created for the sole purpose of allowing battle, and the public would demand an explanation. Civilians didn't like talk of shinobi losing control or destroying property. Her attention turned to the combatants. The first of the fighters, tended to by Sara, was familiar. His brilliant red hair that was as distinctive as her own blue and the sight of it made her stomach twist in knots. This made it an international incident then, that much was certain, and she could only hope whatever masters the red-haired boy kept, if any, would not be offended by his state. That left the other, a less obviously coloured challenger, was as easy for Yuii to know as her own Kage. The loud leaf kid, the medic girl, and the familiarly shaped body on the ground with a hovering lizard that confirmed what her sinking heart already knew.

"Oh shit," she exhaled, not liking the look of Kaji's wounds. It would have been much more satisfying to run over and check on him then, but Yuii held fast and turned her attention to Tatsuo (and Hoshi if he's there) for an explanation, "Alright, kid(s). Two hundred words or less, what the hell happened?"

 

[Okada Kaji]

Legend has it that the battle between The Hunter and Mother Suna’s Chosen was only the beginning of their fabled tale: and a story that would be told around campfires by wise men for many generations to come. The red vapor which masked Kaen was finally clearing from the field, vanishing into thin air as the chaos came to a close. Several torrential blazes were still live around the arena, all products of Kaen’s potent jutsu, courtesy of his enigmatic pact with an occultist benefactor.

As Kaji laid on his back with his eyes were wide and staring aimlessly— his muted green pupils were quaking, still full of life as he bared the misery of the devastation dealt upon him. He truly wanted to let go but there was a fear in him, fear that if he closed them— if he even dared to release a full exhale of breath— he might lose his last grip on consciousness, and slip back into the abyss which called his name.

By then, the three young shinobi who bared witness to the battle came into play when Teichou called them to his aid. Hoshi and Tatsuo set to work first as they were located closest to the field; the former was sending out the emergency broadcast, while the latter came to his master’s aid without a hint of hesitation. Kaji turned his head to listen closely to the sounds of familiar voices echoing above the song of fires still churning around them. Tatsuo approached first with his hands weaving seals, manifesting energy which encased Kaji with warmth and light. The ground rumbled around him as Tatsuo’s wooden tendrils arose, attempting to numb his pain with healing chakra. While Tatsuo’s healing alone would not save Kaji, the soothing effects of it did wonders for his physical torment. “I knew you’d make yerselves useful sooner or later” Teichou chided as he watched Tatsuo and Hoshi take action first. The lizard’s one good eye focused on Tatsuo as he read the boy’s concern, and waited for him to ask that expected question. The titan lizard was as worldly as his kind could offer, and he had no reason to lie when he offered “yer sensei is a real fighter; he didn’t come this far just to kick the bucket, especially when he has us in his corner.”

And as if on cue, two healers with credentials to back them emerged on the field, both working at once to begin their separate treatments for both downed fighters. Sara was one of Kaji’s former greenhorns from their pasts, before their exodus where many of The Stone’s shinobi relocated as part of a covenant with the reemerging Hidden Leaf. She was hurrying along from the rafters, seeking to save the life of her old sensei when an enormous toad tore through the skyline in a sudden arrival. The creature emerged like a meteor falling from the heavens, and shattered the illusion of order being restored on the battlefield. The pounding force of the enormous toad landing shook the arena to its core and visibly made the others uneasy with his stature alone.

By the time Gamabunta set all four webbed feet to the earth, Teichou had reclaimed Tokage-Ryu from Kaji’s side and curled the blade in his tail’s grasp, cautiously preparing for a poor turn of events. The toad spoke out first while his presumed summoner dismounted, rushing to tend to the charred humans. Both behemoths were identifying with each other, reptile to amphibian as if their humans were mere children at the park, going about their ways and having their fun. “Mi’ boy Kaji was just taking out the trash, that’s all,” Teichou answered brashly, surely understating the battle that transpired. "He caught a follower of the ways of Jashin, that he did!" It was just like Teichou to never be impressed, but always amused by his human partner’s adventures. And though Kaen had repeatedly professed that he was not affiliated with Jashin previously, Teichou called it like he'd seen it.

The efforts from Tatsuo in the passing moment was enough to restore Kaji to an alert yet still immobile state, causing him to watch nervously when Tatsuo backed away in favor of proper medical assistance. Sara came into view first, although Kaji did hear the introduction of Yuuto, who stood more evenly between him and Kaen, to provide a dual healing. Their efforts were enough to settle Teichou, who was already calming when he realized that Gamabunta had not come to start a fight, and neither did his human. As surely the eldest, and most mature of the bunch, the old titan was about to explain the incident the best he could, but Sara intervened with a brief summary for Yuuto that was much more articulate than how Teichou would have bothered to put it. The titan made a smug sigh.

And then the titan’s tongue whipped out from his mouth, waving about in quick up-and-down bobbing, tasting every flavor in the air. His extra-sensitive sense of taste gave Teichou a premonition of the much greater happenings around them, of more sweat from numerous human creatures on the approach, all finely perceived despite the taste of blood and scorched earth. It appeared that the medic with the toad was only an initial response from The Cloud’s shinobi forces, as more were on the approach. “Hmmm” went the lizard, who was not too excited about the situation. He almost thought to leave Kaji for now, if only to reduce the chances of Kaji seeming at-fault for the destruction that was caused, yet loyalty prevailed.

But for all the oncoming forces that made Teichou nervous, only a single woman appeared to make her presence known to the few allies who gathered on the arena floor. He eyed her curiously, as she eyed him, both as if they had never seen such a creature before. His tongue flicked again, tasting the air once more. “You’d better be waking up for this one” Teichou groaned, directing the words to his grounded friend.

And Kaji stirred, struggling to move like a newly reanimated corpse when he heard that familiar voice approach. He knew it was her, the one, and suddenly he had to shake off his terrible wounds. “Couldn’t they heal him faster” he wondered, almost angrily as he planted a hand that was seeming to be without skin, on the ground, trying to push himself upright. He aggravated the gash in his abdomen, and fresh blood flowed as if it were a squeezed sponge. He fell back again with his good hand still grasping on one the wooden tendrils that encased him like a giant ribcage. “Blue...” he said with a lamenting voice, hating to let her see him this way.

[Tatsuo]

Tatsuo was more than happy to let the medics take over, despite his title granted by the Hokage he couldn't care less about healing anyone. The only reason he had sprung into action to help was because it was Kaji. Had it been anyone else he'd probably have just let the medics deal with it, but he wasn't going to let his sensei die or suffer in agony on his watch. As the real medics came he retracted his wooden tendrils back into the very earth they came from. Everything seemed to happen so fast, everyone was talking, yelling, worried about the building and other things. But from what he gathered, Kaji would be alright. It was a breath of relief to realize that, he began to look around and take in the newcomers, Yuuto seemed like quite the skilled medic and he was pretty sure Sara was too. She was the Leaf Med-chief after all, she couldn't be too bad.

However he was taken aback by Yuii's request for information. It wasn't very friendly he thought. "Who are you to ask?" the boy responded with quickly, crossing his arms defiantly. Tatsuo had seen her before, when they first arrived. His memory of the event is hazy as he was too tired to remember his name at that point but he didn't really care about the authority over other villages, especially right now. "Don't worry about it." he said pointing over to Sara, "Us Leaf ninja got this under control." He took solidarity with his fellow Leaf ninja as at this point he had no reason to trust Yuii. She was just some lady he had made fun of earlier. "Also, we probably need an ambulance, not a taxi." he said remarking about her oversized yellow coat.

Tatsuo glanced to Kaji who now was looking over to Yuii. However he had know knowledge of their prior relationship. As he muttered the words "Blue." he frowned, he must be delirious Tatsuo thought. The fear would begin to flood the young boy's face as he carefully watched the medics healing his sensei. Almost forgetting entirely about his short bout with Yuii.

 

[Shouyu Hoshi]

Tatsuo finally released the wooden barrier and began bolting to the field. Hoshi rose from his wheel chair, adjusting most of his weight into his good foot, while sending chakra into the other to strengthen his bone make him essentially lighter on his healing foot. He himself would then take one leap from the front of the stands to center field. Here a wounded Kaji was close to blacking out, and Kaen seemed near death with his chakra so visibly low. Shouyu understood this was a challenge, that only became more serious the longer the bout ensued. Both Shinobi's safety was at risk, though Shouyh knew that the Suna worshipper would face some legal issues for endangering lives and mass property destruction. Tatsuo was screaming out to call for a medic while encasing Kaji in his nature energy. Hoshi clicked his teeth at the sound of the young boy's voice, Hoshi grew distressed.

"I already did, they sh-"

The sun was clipsed by a giant, casting a large shadow. Hoshi immediately looked up to see a giant toad bearing a 3 eyed sharingan Shinobi with three sets of chakra networks that intertwined with themselves. Hoshi had to make a quick decision, friend or foe, and he would hope friend. "Mangekyou Sharingan.." He cut his sentence short, lowered himself a bit and leaped away from the toad landing. But before Shouyu even took a defensive stance the Shinobi descended and quickly addressed himself as medical chief, Hoshi eased up with a sigh of relief.

"G-giant... Toad..."

Hoshi was going to respond before an odd feeling stirred in his stomach and he felt his blood flow increase in rate but why? His energy was boosting and he could feel strength returning to his leg, they domed in a light, quickly joined by Sara who Hoshi turned to see after she landed. Help was coming fast and in a hurry.

First Hoshi Intended to respond to Yuuto before Teichou gave the details. Hoshi nodded in agreement, although he didn't know what a "Jashin" was. Sara then asked if the two were okay, from a glance he'd a give a thumbs up.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Can't say the same for Kaji though, and whoever that guy is."

He'd point towards Kaen, still without a name for Shouyu to recall, but definitely a force to be reckoned with. He wondered if would fight himself in such life threatening battles like Kaji, on the brink of death. His eyes were wide and absorbing everything in view, he watched in a mixture of awe and confusion at the Toad, Yuuto, Kaen, Teichou and Kaji. Sara became multiples and spread across the field attending to everyone, he watched specifically her jutsus on Kaen who is in the worst shape.

That's when Yuii appeared, Hoshi cringed a bit. He had knack for upsetting the Sennin and he hope his appearance here at this event wouldn't do the same. He was always in some stir of trouble and hated to be on her bad side.

She quickly assessed the situation as Hoshi kept scanning the field as well. Yuii was clearly distressed at the conspiring events and cursed. When she asked the two boys what happened Shouyu was going to be quick with a response. That was before Tatsuo came out with a rather rude remark, Hoshi's jaw dropped and his head slowly turned over to Tatsuo. Hoshi fixed his face and gave a solid push with his right hand to Tatsuo's shoulder.

"Hey! I don't talk to your higher ups like that! Show some respect, you are a guest to Kumogakure ya know?"

Hoshi's right brow was risen, and his face distraught. Tatsuo seemed only concerned about his own village, sometimes disregarding anyone foreign to Konoha. He wondered, if he was the same way with Kumo, or if... He cut his thoughts short and focused once more. Before he could give an answer again, Tatsuo continued his crude remarks, causing Hoshi to twist uo his face one more and give a stern look. "Leaf ninja huh?" Hoshi thought to himself. Hoshi was clearly angry his face and the tone of his voice would show it.

"Hmpf, next time you leaf ninja need help, maybe you should handle it yourself then?"

Hoshi turned away, deactivating his eyes. He began to make his way out of the field, it was too crowded here, plus in any sort, all of who needed to be here had arrived. There was no need for the Genin to tag along anymore. The damage was done, he learned a lot of insight from the bout he witnessed, he was content. He walked all the way back into the stands to make his exit, only to look back once more, at Tatsuo, then Yuuto, and his giant toad companion. He snorted a light breath through his nose, pouting and intended to exit the coliseum.

[Enatsu]

There was officially too much going on here for Yuuto's liking, however he didn't help by bringing Gamabunta in haphazardly, but he wanted to ensure that the large chakra signature had a counter balance, it turned out to just be two Contractors who would have to find solace for the moment. Yuuto peered behind him when Yuii had stepped on the scene. Truth be told he hadn't seen her since she was a little girl, back when they shared similar abilities. However she probably wouldn't recognize him anymore, let alone be fond of speaking to him. He went back to tending to the patients unconcerned for what the Main branch Sennin had to say to the other guys.

He'd take a moment to look in Sara's direction,

"Thank you for your assistance, we have bigger problems if we don't get these two stabilized and secured." It was true that things were only going to get messier. He had caused quite a bit of destruction potentially harming those who were just spectating and those who worked there. In other ones, this Sunan had utterly f***k'd up. Teichou, the lizard summon began to speak on the situation giving the medical chief some kind of insight as to what was going on. However instead of giving true detail he just said Kaji was taking out the trash, trash being the Jashin follower who appeared to be the other combatant. Yuuto didn't know too much about this whole Jashin thing, but if the Lizard General knew about it, then it was very possible Gamabunta or even Fukusaku knew of it as well.

Eventually Kaji fully woke up struggling to regain full consciousness and pushed himself so far just so that he could utter the words Blue. He had a sulken look on his face, and Yuuto could kinda gather what was possibly going on here. Yuu got a slick idea and walked closer to Kaji. He would pull him in touching his shoulder and activating the Medical Ward ninjutsu, to leave a seal on Kaji, and urging him to get up. "Come on, I know that look from a thousand miles away. Let's get you over to her." He'd extend a hand hoping the guy would just accept the winging.

-If Kaji accepted his hand then Yuuto would hobble over with Kaji in tow-
-If Kaji doesn't then Yuuto leaves him to go speak to Yuii-

Either way by the time Yuuto got to Yuii, the young Byakugan user was already storming off. Something must have happened because there was a bit of tension in the air.

"Main Branch Sennin, Kagetsu Yuii, we have a big issue dealing with the foreigner who seemed to be the main cause of this destruction. I request that we detain him and prep him for interrogation. I can run point on that, using a mix of my illusions and medical jutsu to stabilize him and coax him enough to get information out of him, and I just want to clarify I'm talking about the red haired guy on the ground ..... Oh by the way this banged up some or another wants to see you."

Either way if given permission Yuuto would begin the process of transporting Kaen, the burned "Jashin" follower, to the prison, being an Ex-Anbu and an Ex-Resident of the prison, Yuuto was more than qualified to handle this situation, plus Yuii was about to have her hands full with the rest of the participants here.

[Yaku]

Things were getting worse and worse. She saw Yuii enter the stadium, and started to think bad thoughts. The significant damage to the stadium, putting the lives of innocent people at stake, practically killing this ass hat. Possibly killing him actually, she was extremely surprised he hadn't awoken. Sara knew he wasn't dead, but a coma was pretty equivalent, at least that is how she thought Sunagakure would see it, where this dude was from. Following Iwagakure rules at least it would come down to such. She should have interfered earlier. And what was worse, none of the healing transferred over. Nothing was going her way.

The Sara that was looking over Hoshi and Tatsuo still checked them over even when they gave a sign of being okay. It would take but a second longer then that and after she was satisfied, looked around. She didn't see anyone else hurt and then looked at Kaji. His injuries were becoming mild quickly, muscle fatigue and strain, bruising and the such were all he would have soon enough. She decided nothing of great use would be for her to stick around and released herself in a puff of smoke.

The clone that was talking to the frog man turned towards Yuii, hearing her comment. She smiled, trying to play it off, "It's more of a Iwagakure thing. Strength is a matter of pride, and losing isn't prideful. Thus why the medical chief is here. I..She, wouldn't let things get to out of hand" She felt more was needed..."It might be a little barbaric perhaps but backups are always nearby. Always someone nearby to stop it before it goes too...far.. Buildings can always be rebuilt?" She gulped at those last words. She knew it was to far, and her words didn't matter much. Though the clone was a little more relaxed now, having a familiar face that was to be a representative of kumogakure. It could have been worse, but it also could have been a lot better. She watched as the Sennin took the area in, and headed over to Kaji to provide some aid. "I am guessing he is with you? The giant toe..." But before she could reach him, the clone popped in a puff of smoke, and of course, Tatsuo took up the slack.

She worked fast, maintaining her healing jutsus on everyone for the prolonged amount of time. Even if they were seriously injured, they would be fine in moments. She tried to focus on the man before her, laying unmoving trying to figure out what more she could do. That was when the first wave of information hit her. She cringed, now knowing the clone had gone to far. Yuii was looking a little more angry then when she first appeared, and somewhat distraught? That was a little weird. She decided the clone wasn't needed anymore over there, and removed it from play. Sara stood up, and started to erase the seal from the ground that the guy was on, perhaps thinking that was the cause of his not waking up. Or maybe a seal? Or maybe...a genjutsu? Sara felt it was a priority to make sure the man lived. And more so that none were blamed for the occurrences here. Even in all that, she smiled, though it wasn't right for her to do so.
