Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Re: The Djinn's Second Attack [Event Continued]

His purpose was to maintain the jutsu and trust that the others were capable enough to handle that destructive being from before. After taking an ass whooping in a hurray from that thing, the Djinn, he wasn't in much of hurry himself to try to tangle with the beast. Yet, at least. For now he needed to focus on task at hand. The black blockade seemed to be holding up; him and Elfin seemed to be working on the same wave length for at least the time being.

"No." It was only a little troubling that he had nothing new to report to his fellow ANBU, and vice versa. But the time for procedural reform would be needed following all this craziness, that is of course they were able to survive the whole damn thing.

OOC: Maintaining the Black Blockade with Eflin/Kumiko still. Sorry for the delay.

Re: The Djinn's Second Attack [Event Continued]

The Djinn roared in frustration at the minute figures that had somehow risen in power to defy him as strange markings covered his arms, back, chest and face. He felt thuds of some objects striking his back and shoulders before. The Kazekage appeared upon his right flank, it was odd he had not noticed him there before. They were somehow moving faster as he lashed out at the offending chakra of this defiant ant that he vaguely identified as the leader of these insignificant threats that hid the plague from him. Enchanted black metal slashed into his shoulder cutting deeply yet still drawing no blood. Djinn found the concept of true physical confrontation laughable until he struck the blade wielding armored warrior the bones within his flesh resonated as if he had struck something made of steel. The body of the one called Sousuke defied his physical energy even as he was flung back over twenty feet. It was odd that his target had not disintegrated from the force of his blow, he must indeed have contracted the plague. Only if were dying could these miscreants even stand a chance of harming him. Djinn actually felt appreciative for the efforts of the ninja arrayed against him. He felt the passion of their struggle before him Nansui felt the tug of Shunsui to take over as the whole of the battle began but the emotions running rampant prevented the switch.

His right hands points at Sousuke the energy not even a tenth of what it once was Sousuke’s blade and reinforced body took the brunt of his counter attack only being pushed back by the force of the blow. That the being was still standing Nansui took as a testament to this being’s newfound defensive abilities. As he lashed out at Sousuke another attacker stepped in with a salvo of sand, minerals, debris and a superior surge of debris caused him to stumble to the side the ground shuddered and then he shuddered in spite of himself or was it him who shuddered from the wrath of the attack unleashed upon him. He didn’t have time to care as he found himself once again pulled into darkness as the meal he had originally went after the dark creature imprisoned within animated human flesh.

"How dare you use such arcane sorcery against me?! I will rend that false body of yours limb from limb, and suck the very power from your shattered bones!!!" Before his anger could be transformed into any form of attack his powers flared out. His energy gathering had been all but halted, his blue, stone-like flesh began to soften and peel. He had used centuries worth of energy attacking the Sunans and now it was all coming to an end. He was being drained and his body was no longer naturally taking in energy. His eyes, began to fade in wrath even as he reached out for Mikaboshi unaware of the Devil Sennin’s jutsu unfolding.

His special kage bunshin were encircled all around the battleground praying with him as he pulsed with sage chakra and the remnants of the dojo began to whirl about the area. Djinn would react by sending out one massive shockwave of chakra that disrupted the black blockade and caused the shadow bind to lessen. The seals began to burn and strengthen as the leech seal fed Mikaboshi bit by terrible bit. All the while, the torn mental state that made up Djinn’s structure began to fray as fear finally gnawed through his fractured mind. The disruption to his base elemental nature was complete. Six -‘5’ element seals and a leech seal combined with the slightly diminished shadow field allowed for the Sennins, the Sunaku, and the Steward began their final assault for the Djinn it would mean he finally would be granted the death he sought, just not the way he had sought it, pestilence would not be his demise. Human emotions overpowered Nansui's consciousness and prevented Shunsui from emerging through to control the Djinn, the actual body began to lose control as it was trapped in a dangerous, desperate, and ever descending spiral. Kumiko's chakra reached its end as the shockwave from Djinn knocked her on her side, the black blockade was at its end. Roku was thrown clear but retained enough chakra to get back to his feet.

Re: The Djinn's Second Attack [Event Continued]

Kuro and his alternate form recalled Hyakujuuonouu to perform the rite of soul removal but this was a special case. They weren't going to takeover Djinn's body, he was far too strong for that. His spiritual strength would serve a different purpose, Kuro would use this warped beings own power with the aid of the Kazekage-Steward, Mikaboshi, Harupia, and Hikuidori to form a special soul destroying seal. "Mikaboshi san, Sousuke kun, Harupia san, and you new comer. We have sealed his ability to absorb chakra and use his own but as long as he still breathes he will eventually break those seals. He's hurt now and Sousuke has cut an opening in his flesh. I have a secret ability and I am going to use it to bring all the people this monster has killed back to life using his own mind body and soul as the power source. I need each of you to use your strongest advanced elemental binds. Mikaboshi-san please use your shadows to restrain his left arm, Harupia-san use your sand to restrain his right arm, I know you are injured but it should be well within your power. Newcomer I sense wood element in you, however you can restrain his legs with your wood element jutsu. Sousuke-kun use your power of Judgement to seal his main body in molten steel after I begin the rites of heavenly sacrifice. This bastard will pay for every life he thinks he has stolen from us." Revealing himself in all his terrible yet somehow humble power Kuro's eyes came alive with all forms of chakra even demon and celestial as he empowered a surreal blade, his alternate bodies which they could all see were not kagebunshin but actual physical flesh and blood copies of Kuro had formed a five point seal around Djinn forcing him into a prone position through the use of special chakra enhanced kinetic energy. Demon Kuro stood and stumbled over to Djinn before standing over his head to stab down into his now vulnerable flesh driving his chakra blade into the monster's massive chest. Djinn was still incredibly strong so the blade only made it three inches into the mighty flesh of the being known only to them at the moment as Djinn. His other bodies each stepped forth in synch as they produced similar chakra blades to Demon Kuro's then stabbed a chakra blade into each massive limb now fully pinned to the ground within Mikaboshi's underworld prison, all five Kuro's stepped away and began to focus their collective energies on a massive statue of a demon beast nearby which began to absorb energy from Djinn at an alarming rate causing Djinn to struggle in primal fear. The strange statue of Hyakujuuonouu was blindfolded and shackled, as reached from the ground in such a way that only it's torso and arms are visible above the ground. A dark aura surged throughout the area, lowering the will Djinn to continue to fight. Angry waves of divine of demonic energy latched onto Djinn's body and forcibly extracted portions of his mighty and tormented soul. Kuro in turn began the heavenly rites to restore everyone that was murdered. As little by little a rejuvenating life force that wafted from Demon Kuro and bodies once crushed or torn asunder were made whole in groups of three. They weren't fully restored and they still carried wounds but one by one they began to live again. Djinn began to fight even harder as fear took over and he could no longer focus or control himself. Only the need to escape filled his being now.

Kuro called for the aid of the remaining defenders to use their advanced elements to further pull for this terrifying being's soul.

Re: The Djinn's Second Attack [Event Continued]

"They all look like old battle swords." Hiku thought in his head silently as he watched the impending doom rise and fall. The Djinn who was still barking loudly, and flexing it's muscles had finally fell short having his energy sapped and contained. It seemed as if these multiple seals placed upon it were to finally draining it. To think not only did this creature breach Sunan's defenses it rampaged this long and was just now being stopped. He looked at each face, each shinobi standing within his vicinity, desperately trying to kill this creature. Each soldier, holding wear and tear, like weapons that had just got done slicing through thousands of enemies. The Sunagakurian people, they were "Hardcore" and this scene was close to a portrait of pain and desire. Their pain would bring their desire, Hiku would make sure of it. Today he would give it his all to destroy the creature that had trampled over his home, and harmed his family.

The Kazekage, who should be called so rightly after this day faced the creature in head to head combat. He had done something to his blade as it seemed to change shape. He could only wonder how much damage it could do, when it seemed as though the mass of petal projectiles he used upon the creature held no effect. His jutsu (Pit of Crimson Tears) had barely taken off the ground yet and it seemed as though it had no effect at the current moment. "Hmmm this is weird, the damn jutsu didn't even finish forming. It's going to slow at this rate I'll have to try something stronger. I I'll wait for an.." and his inner thoughts were silenced as the Kazekage fell a wound upon the powerful creature.

The creature however brushed him aside, however only to be pulled by shadows. The more Hikudori looked around the battle field, the more he found that these shinobi, his family at arms, were all monsters for the most part. A smirk spread across his face as more shinobi attacked giving this creature a brutal lashing. However at the conclusion of it all this creature was warped within shadows, being done in to whatever works were inside. "Nasty technique there, I wonder how he managed to catch it." Hikuidori didn't do much just yet. He allowed the others their dues while he and his serpent continued to be patient. Hiku was charging chakra trying to make the jutsu he had laid out stronger if at all possible. As a summoning specialist shinobi Hikuidori was well aware that he would have to concentrate to keep his conjured creatures in balance. That along with his ability of genjutsu could possibly create the opening everyone needed.

A man with a strong presence around him began to take lead. The Sennin Toraono Kuro, would explain that he had a technique to revive the many the Djinn had fell. Hiku's brows rose slightly, showing that he had an interest in this matter. In all of his shinobi life he had never heard of someone resurrecting so many people. There were some rumors of shinobi out there who could revive the dead, but none on this scope. With a small nod he would look towards the Kazekage to see what he made of all this. It seemed as though they were expected to believe in a plan that no one else could verify. However this creature's existence made Hiku believe in things even he thought were too impossible to happen. Kuro began to give out instructions about which body parts to bind, and he even knew of Hiku's elemental affinity just by sensing him. Those abilities of his were becoming more wild by the second, but Hiku would make no complaint he'd only try to help.

"I just have to bind his legs? Should be easy enough then I've been charging up the chakra for a jutsu. If you look on the ground near the creature you'll see some wood poking out of the ground. Well let's just say those legs are about to be my creation's lunch." Hiku would begin to form the horse seal, and charge chakra through the ground. Vines began to spring from the ground and charged straight towards the Djinn, as Hiku used the Vine Tangle Jutsu (Master Rank). The plant life, attempted to wrap themselves around the Djinn's legs. The jutsu from earlier, the Pit of Crimson Tears took form now as it's timer was apparently finished. A row of wooden teeth, would rise from the ground as a large bulbous venus flytrap sprung to life opening it's large jaws. The Venus Flytrap would begin to propel itself circling the Djinn. Hiku would turn to Kuro and begin to speak. "I like creating things and that Jutsu is created from my very mind. See my Wooden Ninjutsu strike more than just the person they strike the psyche. It's like a living creature itself really one that could deteriorate someone's brain. I'm going to attempt to layer the Djinn when all have applied their appropriate binds. Basically I'm going to have my Venus Flytrap eat the Djinn whole. A safe containment unit when you think of it. When all is done I can open it up and let you go in to do your technique in silence. I do have one proposition though. Allow me to accompany you. The Djinn is weaker and I'm pretty sure you haven't had any Yamanaka clansmen try to pry into the creature's mind have you? I can take control of it's body maybe, and disrupt it further. In this form my mental capabilities are multiplied ten fold. I can do this..." He'd turn back to the Djinn staring at it intently waiting for the moment to allow his pit to attack. His Steel Serpent (Dragon) stood behind him the whole time constantly watching Guard. Hiku was very good about covering his bases. One of such he wanted to cover only when the time needed to. If they could not contain the beast he'd have to go out on a full on assault.
- Using Vine Tangle [Master] to bind the Djinn's legs.
- Using Pit of Crimson Tears [Master] from the last post in this one. Since it wasn't mentioned, I RP'd it as growing while I focused more chakra into it.
- I'm maintaining the Name of the Rose [Master], and Steel Dragon [Master]
- If the creature escapes I want my Steel Dragon to attack relentlessly with all the noob power in the world yo~ (Basic Strikes all day)

Re: The Djinn's Second Attack [Event Continued]

The Steward took the Djinn's attack and was thrown, but the Steward braced himself to take minimum damage. Damage taken was indeed minimal and the Djinn seemed to be at a lost. Yes perhaps if this was earlier, Sousuke perhaps would have been vaporized, but no. Sousuke for some time had been observing his foe getting weaker and weaker from all the seals being applied. The Steward relayed his observations out to his allies. "Destructive power has decreased by one-hundred and twenty-five percent. Still though if you do not have an innate defense do not make contact in close quarters. I am still functional well enough, but the Mark II did take some damage."<i></i> After having spoken, Kuro next relayed what his intentions were. He required Sousuke to use a technique he was not experienced in which was Judgment Gate. Sousuke sheathed the ebony blade and began to form hand seals.

He Who Passes The Sentence, Should Swing The Blade. The words of his father resonated in his head as he continued to do hand seals. He Who Passes The Sentence, Should Swing The Blade. More seals. He Who Passes The Sentence, Should Swing The Blade. With the seals completed a large gate appeared behind the Steward. The gate had a sort of earthly presence, but it could not be explained so easily. Sousuke himself was unsure if the gate appeared due to a tear in ether-reality, or it came from the Land of Summoned. It mattered little as the doors opened up and lava came out of the gate and slowly approached the Steward. When it was exactly one meter away from him, it stopped. The lava began to take shape transforming into a great sword that was red and orange. The Steward took a few steps back and drew the sword which had dug itself into the ground. Sousuke held the blade and then took a moment to aim. He would then hurl the blade at the Djinn's chest. Upon contact the blade would return to its molten lava form and begin sealing anew shortly. "Judgement delivered."<i></i> Sousuke would simply say as he awaited the rest to follow up.

Re: The Djinn's Second Attack [Event Continued]

Mikaboshi watched in eagerness as the skin of the Djinn cracked and withered under relentless spiritual assault. The shadows that bit into it's flesh did more than simply restrain it's physical body-- they tore at it's reserve of energy as well just as the soul-sucking curse that he'd laid upon the creature did. He had been correct in his assessment that even though the monster possessed immense power... that power was ultimately also it's weakness. He could spend all day throwing energy and spells at the creature but it would only send back that energy in triplicate. Instead Mikaboshi's strategy had shifted to one which was almost mirror of the Djinn's except rather than waiting for the Djinn to assault him he simply attacked the Djinn's spiritual reserves. And so far the plan had worked wonderfully.

But it was time to bring the hunt to a close. The Djinn was wounded-- mortally so from the way it's movements lagged and it's power waned --but it was still quite dangerous.

Kuro issued him commands and the feral part of Mikaboshi's mind screamed at him to take Kuro apart. He'd already had a taste of Kuro's energy once today and even despite it being disgustingly tainted by demon chakra Mikaboshi's ever ravenous sub-conscious had found the taste of it delectable. But even with that outrage, both sides of Mikaboshi knew that Kuro was correct in his assessment. They could settle their scores after the battle was won. But the dark sennin had no intention of using just his shadows... there was more power at Mikaboshi's command than simply that. His wings flaring in movement, Mikaboshi's midnight-blue form flickered from place to place as he moved into position for his assault. The Djinn was still wrestling with his Underworld Prison technique... but there was no reason not to add something else to torment the creature. Energy swirled around Mikaboshi's feet as he dissolved the spirit flesh of his transformed state-- with much howling and gnashing by his subconscious mind --and poured all of that residual energy into his next spell. It was one that even he had some difficulty controlling and would need all of his mental facility to cast properly. He had not attempted it since his revival but now seemed like the ideal time to do so.

Gesturing through the complicated somatic component of the spell, Mikaboshi dropped to one knee and slammed his palms into the ground in a similar fashion to the way that human ninja did when conjuring a summoned beast. But this was no contract summon. The power that he'd conjured was one of terrible presence and power; one that even he did not fully understand. The first time he'd stumbled across such a spell he could only refer to the power that he'd conjured as an "Outsider" and had left it at that. With a sharp crack of thunder as if reality itself were screaming in pain, a jagged tear appeared in the air perhaps four feet above where Mikaboshi was and from that tear came horrible appendages of every description and form. Grasping claws and biting mouths that glittered with energy that boiled the air as they emerged... but the worst part about them was the smell that came with them. A mixture of rotting meat and burning flesh; the scent would not be easily detected over the chaos of the battle but as the rush of gruesome flanges rushed out of the hole in the world that Mikaboshi had conjured the rank smell followed along with them. If they came into contact with the Djinn the creature would feel his very existence being burned away-- shredded by the energy of beings that existed entirely outside of the world they knew as reality. Even with all he'd experienced and the horrible things that he had perpetrated unto others... Mikaboshi could not help but feel a tinge of apprehension towards even having called them into the battle.

This would be the spell that he would put an end to the Djinn with. It had to be. He had put everything he had into it.

Re: The Djinn's Second Attack [Event Continued]

Haru was a bit self-conscious after the assault went through, the pain and exhaustion getting to him slightly. He was still aware, but everything seemed a bit hazy...though at the very least, the pulsing of his uninjured arm made him sure he wasn’t asleep. It seemed that after all the attacks, they were finally cracking through. Sousukes Swordplay, his own attacks, they were starting to pierce through the creature, at least partially. Though he was still strong enough to lash back, trying to crack the foundations of the barriers surrounding the building. They needed to do something...and it seemed Kuro knew what to do.

As he listened to the Sennin he was confused what was real and what might have been something he overheard...secret techniques, bringing back to life those who are dead...it sounded too good to be true...and yet, he learned today that there were forces in the world that people could not easily comprehend. Still, he understood that Kuro had a plan to get rid of the creature for good. And that they were to use their binding techniques to make sure the beast didn’t move. He nodded to the notion, using the sand gathered from his previous attacks to once again use the Sand Coffin technique, encasing the Djinns arm. Not the most powerful bind of the elements, but he was conscious enough to relief erupting a huge wave of sand in the middle of the building was not the best logistic idea.

Haru observed Kuro's transformation and moves, and his companion bodies mirroring the moves, the other Shinobi gathered pouring their strength into holding the beast down, Sousuke, the newcomer, the Shadowy figure. All of them using their powers to hold him down. He felt the Djinn struggle against the sand encasing his arm as he used all of his power to hold it down. He wasn’t sure about anything at this point, how long would they hold him, how much power it had left, if probing its mind was a wise idea...he just wanted to put the rabid beast to sleep. And he would hold down on the arm till he passed out if he had to in order to achieve that goal.

Re: The Djinn's Second Attack [Event Continued]

Djinn struggled on his mind fractured as Shunsui tried to force Nansui aside to remedy the situation but it was far too late for that. The blades stabbed into his chest hands and feet held fast prostrating him on the ground as shadows and the gates of hell grasped his left arm. Were he of one mind he would have lost his sanity as Mikaboshi's psionic assault further tore away at their control of the body that was Djinn. As he tried in vain to move and retaliate, sand encased his right arm and held fast. Vines and a ravenous psychic plant rose from the ground to engulf his legs up to his thighs as a giant blade of molten liquid steel fell upon him encasing his nose, mouth, chest shoulders, torso and groin in ravaging liquid steel. It traveled down his throat searing, and burning forcing him to throw up and vomit liquid metal but it left his mouth open, frozen in a rictus of screaming agony as only his eyes remained under his control. The blades became his only consolation, they were oddly cool, soothing, and suddenly he felt his original true personality emerge as Hiku tried to enter his splintered tortured mind. Hiku couldn't get much there was far too much damage but he could see that Shunsui and Nansui were not the true identity of Suna's attacker. As fear overwhelmed both alternate personalities the body began to fear the death it had originally so ungratefully came for. Kuro's justu was now complete with Djinn sealed and no longer able to struggle centuries of power, madness, and suffering became fuel for his Samsara Revival Jutsu as Hyakujuuonouu transformed Djinn's soul into life rejuvenating energy. Three by three the people murdered by Djinn starting with the people closest to the origin of the jutsu. Bodies once crushed, shredded, burned, pulped, buried, broken, incinerated, even some torn apart or seemingly turned to dust were revived and rebuilt. Some were made better than they had been, but all were given the chance to return. Children whom had lost their parents saw their wounds fade away as they were revived. Those killed in the destruction of the hospital were found alive, burns turned to bruises. Cuts became faint scars, babies and children emerged from the rubble unscathed. Children once blind or crippled arose anew, whole and able, doctors, nurses, and valiant medical personnel and ANBU were reborn. Aches, pains, and general problems remained but all were made whole. Mostly because the jutsu was being forcibly powered by a being many times more powerful than the caster himself. There were those whom did not heed the call to return to the living world and though their bodies returned some chose to remain dead content where they were. The terrible disaster wrought by Djinn had unearthed some ancient caverns where many devices of war the First Men had sealed away were awakened by Sunagakure's distraught. Suna's most valiant defenders and healers found themselves empowered by gems of various shapes and sizes that bonded to them. Throughout it all the death the broken mind of Djinn had sought was in many ways granted. Were he able to he would have chuckled as his frayed mind gave way to its original personality. Realizing the death of one his bodies Jeisui was content for now he knew he could finally find release and relief from his eternal torment as 1/4th of his true soul was used as power for a famliar revival jutsu. Jeisui the FOREVER CHAINED still had 3 more bodies chained and sealed beneath the eternal sands of Wind Country courtesy of the court of Primus as punishment for murdering his clan and using their strongest bodies as his own. Hiku in brief mental contact could see his face and see the interior locations of his alternate bodies. As the jutsu was completed Hyakujuuonouu disappeared and Kuro's alternate forms rose one by one to return to their duties. The Throne of Bone collapsed despite the valiant efforts of Sunan ANBU and though many training chambers remained the complex could never be what it was originally. Soon those of Suna would rebuild and this area might be one day be used to commemorate the fall of one of Suna's most terrible attackers and the valiant efforts of Suna's people.

It was over...

OR WAS IT?!
There will be an application for rewards and legendary items will be submitted to council for approval by Admin
Mikaboshi, Hiku, Harupia, and Sousuke now know what Kuro really is (Kinjutsu wise) and may call him out on it.
Hiku may find it in his heart to explain that Djinn is really part of a being known as Jeisui the FOREVER CHAINED and that other bodies with his power remain elsewhere beneath the desert.
The Throne of Bone is in ruins and although much can be salvaged the foundation of the main support columns are ruined. We would like to have a description contest for the new area to be renamed and rebuilt by the best write up, so fellow Sunan's put your thinking caps on and get creative and submit your area rewrite to either council or myself

We of Suna thank all participants and wish you all nothing but the best

The new plan began to fall into place as everyone's elemental binding took their respected paths. The Kazekage summoned "something" this thing was unfathomable in itself, as it held an otherworldly chakra. Lava began to pour out of it, and Sousuke, quickly changed the shape of the lava into the form of a molten sword. Once it struck the Djinn it began to warp itself around him helping with the binding process. The wood and the sands surrounded him shortly after following the lead, of the greats in the village. The shadow demon also pulled out a gate of his own. This was one Hiku knew though, the "Gate of Enma" one of the highest forms of jutsu, it was pure chakra forming something incredible. More and more, Hiku's once less fanciful mindset began to change. He was being faced with Jutsu and creatures he didn't know existed or never believed them to exist before. This moment here was entirely different, this creature broke all walls of existence and this technique Kuro was preparing was even more startling.

Back into focus on the situation Hiku "To treat life and death with no consequence is too strong a technique. You must be careful." Hiku's rose petal crown began to wither. His time in the spiritual rose form would only last for so much longer. Silently he would begin his Mind Body Switch Technique. In order to beat the creature he wanted to destroy it's mind. He would dissect any information he could, but the main objective was to obliterate it's mind. With the Name of the Rose active he could enter the Djinn's body more openly. Hiku charged forward as a veil of petals formed around his body. They began to twirl and Hiku disappeared from sight as he collided with the Djinn.

The mind of the Djinn was a void of thoughts, emotions and voices. The dark empty void was cracking and decaying into an even greater world of darkness. His mind was being destroyed. There were clashing forces in the mind of this creature and it's actions were being unraveled. Hiku saw chains being broken as the life light of the creature began to disappear. Hiku could see a thought being written out to him. It was fading, as was the grasp of Hiku's jutsu. His vision began to go dark and then in an instant he was flung into light.

His body was literally forced from the Djinn's body and his spiritual form the Name of the Rose had timed out. Hiku stood gathering himself what together as he was sure the others would ask what happened and why he came from the Djinn's body. "I saw his shattering mind before my technique timed out. This creature, is nothing more than an ancient being's puppet. The creature was a lock of some sort, and by us killing it, something else unlocked. The chains in it's mind were releasing something, like energy to feed to this being named Jeisui... The Forever Chained. I don't know who that is, but that's who's controlling or rather was controlling this creature. These things are like bodies, for Jeisui and he has more hidden under Sunagakure. I think three or four more. There was so much more information but I could only snag that small bit." Hiku would look around at the destruction around them. He was done speaking, so much was going on and now he knew what the Djinn was going through. It was a puppet, forced to do someone's bidding.

However people were alive, those killed were now walking among the survivors. You would think Hiku would be more than estatic, you would almost expect it, however he was just there. While this was such an amazing turn out, it's far too powerful. To be able to control life and death on such a scale. While he only revived today what would happen if he decided to reverse it. Another sigh escaped his lips as he felt nothing but mixed emotions about this ending. The only way to even have some type of grasp on the situation was to find out what this secret technique was and how it was obtained.

Hiku would approach Kuro and try to lock eyes. He wanted the demon Sennin's full attention because after this, the man should expect his people to ask questions. "Thank you, because of your technique everyone was saved. I have to ask you though, what is this technique you've used? Kuro what are you?" It seemed like a simple question, but Hiku was sure it had a vast amount of answers.

The Steward stood with his allies amongst the rubble that was the Toraono Household. Yes. Their enemy was vanquished. It was over. The cost though? Enough. The number of lives lost-- the Steward's inner helmet began to receive a call. "Communications report."<i></i> The Steward listened to something that was quite unfathomable. People were getting up and out of their graves. "Inconceivable."<i></i> The Steward was speechless. Structures could be rebuilt, but lives could not. At this moment it seemed that the impossible had occured, and that Suna had loss alot less. The Steward turned to face Kuro. "Yes. Move them to the Kazekage Tower. Have Judori and Chiyoko attend to them. Inform them that the threat has been terminated."<i></i> The Steward ended the call.

Before the Steward could even talk to Kuro, Hiku asked the question which was probably on everyone's mind. "I thought I once knew what Kuro was. I had him classified as a level nine Benevolent Omni Pathstrider ... but obviously he's surpassed even that."<i></i> Kuro always referred to Sousuke as little brother. Yes there was a bit of the Toraono in him be it through metaphorical teachings or the fact that Lady Azame had Sousuke infused with some Toraono aspects prior to his birth, but the Steward did not exhibit any of the truly extraordinary abilities of House Toraono. The Steward removed the helmet of his Mark II armour. "I'm no where even near that level of power... bearing that in mind of course I would class this Jeisui an Anti-Pathstrider of at least the 20th Level. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around what you just said Hiku. Even for someone with my knowledge, it's taking time for an analysis to properly come about. I'm going to have to cross-reference this with Sage Khan's States of Higher Begins in the Alternative."<i></i> The Steward reached up and rubbed his temple with his free left hand. The Steward once having done that unsheathed the ebon blade and converted it back to its original form.

The Steward went into a fit of coughing. Sousuke wasn't the strongest man, and if not for his suit he would have been crushed earlier. Still though alot could be said for his armoured suit of Takahashi Fire Forged Steel. "Sorry about hacking the PA Kuro. I just wanted to insult the beast with music... and sorry for using your pipes for my steelwork jutsus."<i></i>

Kuro wavered a bit as he stood to answer Hiku, he couldn't hide his true abilities from these men as they had to support him to allow him to use the technique in the first place. "I am an Akuma Sennin (Devil Sage), I can perform jutsu which allow the souls of my enemies to be turned into energy which I manipulate. The technique you just witnessed was Saigen suru Hyakujuuonouu, (Revival through the Demonbeast King) if the subject is willing and has not been away from this world for too long or has been distinctly touched by my own dark chakra I can revive them from the dead and heal their bodies to manageable state. Once done the jutsu cannot be reversed and I can only perform this jutsu with a massive amount of chakra or spiritual energy available, fortunately Djinn had both. Unfortunately I did not have enough power to revive everyone, many remain dead, some did not want to come back. I cannot force the dead to rise against their spiritual will. I am simply a demon's descendant whom found a way to access his ancestor's powers in sequence with his own. I must ask you all to keep my secret, if the wrong people knew my true abilities, it could be used against us all."<i></i> Kuro and his alternate bodies stood up far more tired than they had ever been and began to make their way to the sealed remains of Djinn. His sealed body would be used as a monument to the testament of Sunagakure's tenacity. Slowly and carefully maintaining the seals placed by his fellow nin Kuro used a small spark of his own soul to make the seals permanent. Djinn would never physically rise again and with that all done the three present Kuro's went and sat down.

Hiku stood silently listening to Kuro's explanation. It didn't seem like there was much to his technique but there scope was far larger than he made it seem. Is there more to this than he's letting on.. Hiku thought to himself, wondering what he should believe but there was no matter to make things more strained. People "deserved" to be happy after all that had occurred here. Hiku would do his own research on the techniques Kuro spoke, and would formulate his own resolve on the matter. However he would leave the demon sennin, with a sense of security. "I'll keep your secret... However I'm not sure if everyone will. This is going to be a really hard thing to cover up you know this don't you?" He'd let that linger, knowing it must have been tough on the sennin. With so much power, and now revealing it, he must have felt more than nervous about it all. Hiku could only imagine the incoming problems. He'd turn tail and begin to leave the area, leaving the great scene of destruction and happiness behind him.

[Thanks for allowing me to join late :D it's been fun]

Edit:
Btw I saw the Yen Rewards but are those the only rewards we receive? What about stat points or jutsu rank ups?

Haru held onto his binding as Kuro did his work, unleashing a power which rivaled all of the things he had witnessed before. While his body, and his arm especially, ached even more with each second he held onto his bind, seeing the creature weakening before his eyes...and then finally, just like that, it was all over...the best was no more. Falling onto his knees, the exhausted Sunaku breathed deeply, relaxing his body just a bit, as much as the aching of his cracked bones allowed him...but then, after a slight spike of pain, it seemed to...lessen up. He could feel some sort of power run through him...it felt similar to that of the felled beast, but also similar to Kuro's...and as it coursed through his veins, he could feel himself be rejuvenated...and his arm was healed as well! Well, not completely...he could still feel the numb pain around it. But he could move it...the bones were mended...and some of the other bodies around them, wounded, dead, were being repaired right before his eyes...somehow, they not only defeated the vile creature, but also managed to unleash a power which could draw life out of the clutches of death...maybe this was some sort of elaborate Genjutus the creature unleashed upon them?

Noo, that didn’t make sense...he was feeling to pained for that. Slowly rising himself as he listened to the ongoing conversation, a lot of information being shared. A sage with the power to bring back to life...well, he wasn’t surprised that Kuro could pull something like that out of his sleeve. He had seen a lot of mind blowing, amazing power right in front of him today...and here he was, the pride of the Sunaku clan, recovering due to someone’s else’s greater power...he was glad of course, and he could truly appreciate someone’s power brining life rather than death...still, there was a small twinge in the back of his mind...he wanted to be able to stand on equal footing with such powerful creatures. So he could protect his country, his people...

As the discussion went on, they were asked to keep this power of the Toranao a secret. Well, that was a weird offer. Such great power is something to cherish, admire...but then again he could understand the issue of this knowable getting into the wrong hands...besides, while Sage techniques weren’t considered completely Taboo, there was something dark within them...As the mysterious figure left them for now, he would speak up saying "Yeah, it might be tricky to keep a secret...but who doesn’t appreciate a challenge, right? Besides, I think that as long as our leader has an idea of what's going on, we shouldn’t worry too much, right?" he said, casting a quick glance at the dis-armored for the moment Sousuke. Steward or not, he was leader for now. As long as it wasn’t held secret before him, here would be little anyone could say against it...unless they didn’t trust his judgment, but that was an entirely different issue. Dusting himself of a bit, he would say "Well, Gentleman...as hollow as it may seem now, we defended our city... Now we have to see who managed to survive, and assess the damage...there is a bit of work ahead of us..." he said with a tired, smile, looking at the ruined building around them. A lot of work indeed...but at least the only hazard they would be facing is some bricks falling on your head. Hopefully
(Very belated exit. sorry for the hold up x.x It was fun guys o.ob)
