Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The Hunter №9: Emeraldine Eyes

They say that legends are born in the evening by a warm fire— or in this case at a cafe as two patrons chatted over coffee after their book club adjourned. Times like these are when a single bit of truth becomes stretched like clay and molded into something grande for the sake of being entertaining. The nearby barista couldn’t help be snicker as he cleaned the counters. He was listening to those young women arguing over the possibility of a single person being behind a recent string of thwarted tragedies— newsworthy events all occurring in the span of the past week. The local media was printing daily coverage as a chapter of deranged, death-god worshipping cultists were being uprooted in several raids. The city guard patrols were baffled at who was behind these incidents, which all occurred in rapid succession. The cultists were worshippers of a dark diety with a foreign origin and a small following in the Lightning Country: the cult of Jashin. The rumors went on to say that at least one of the slain cultists were left considerably altered. Imagine that something drained their chakra to a degree that their very soul may have been stolen in their dying moment. Many of the cultists were found alive though, all informing the authorities that they didn’t know who was attacking them, only a certain distinct feature: a figure moving with the shadows who revealed soul-piercing emeraldine eyes before it struck. Speculation had this figure penned as an illusionary calling card, while another theory had the source figured to be a specter of one of the cult’s sacrificed victims. The barista thought they were both wrong, as it was simply one man who was passing through and saw people in need. Surely, with the outbreak of cultists handled, the ghost with the emeraldine eyes would find another place to haunt.
