Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Laying in the snow yet again, while in the midst of his groaning, ever evident by the pain he felt throughout his body, he found his mind migrating to times begone, which made no sense. Despite the massive, loathsome monster that stood mountains above him, staring him down with a keen eye, ready to move in a instance, his mind raced back to the memories of his childhood, where he was much more of a fool than he could ever be. Really, in some instances, he couldn't even believe he and that person were once the same person. It that was true, It felt a life time ago, a time where he could be allowed to enjoy the festivities of life, such as dating and hanging out with his friends. He wished for such a life again, but atlas, that wasn't to be this Genin's fate. Through a serious of events that were completely out of his control, he found himself becoming much more like his father than he had ever envisioned. Before, It would have been a intimidating thought as a child or as the person he once was, but now? He found himself embracing it, whether he liked it or not. Regardless of such complex thoughts, his mind longed for the hands of another, to feel their touch, their warmth. That was, of course, his purple lotus that was most eagerly awaiting his return, no doubt victorious. Such a longing brought back a plateau of images flooding through his mind, reminding him countless memories he couldn't possibly forget, let alone disregard. It no doubt reminded of his obligations and vows he had made, no matter even If he could fulfill them. Such a remembrance, combined with what he craved most in his life, forced the young man up on his feet. Upon wiping the snow off his damaged clothing, he shifted his head back and forth, another time or two for good measure. His right hand laid on his neck as he could not only hear, but feel the cracks from within. It was a most joyous sensation indeed, feeling the pain in his neck leave his body. Unfortunately, with a blood thirsty spirit staring him down, meeting his crimson eyes with his own, It was time to go on the offensive once more. With his Odachi firmly in his hand, his warior spirit dared him forward, to charge into the heart of the beast and strike it down, but he knew better than that, at least by this point anyway. He couldn't even remember how long he had fought this beast for, but thing for sure, what he was doing now wasn't working. He had to try something new, something orthodox but what? His eyes filtered closed for a moment. Amongst his thinking however, only a disappointing smirk would emerge. Of course he could employ "HER" help but he was trying to convince himself otherwise that he was in no need for help. If he could help it, he rather save that separate torture when he was on his last leg, desperate for help, even If his pride most likely wouldn't allow it. Such a thought however ran rampart through his mind however. Surely there was something else he could think of...no?"

Through the clashing of blades, constant clanging noises could be erupted as his Odachi made contact with the beast's talon, triggering sparks to fly throughout the air as the beast's massive talon scrapped the edge of his now aging blade. Clearly, he had not taken his own advice, but It mattered not, as It made him more determined than before, If such a thing was even possible, given the circumstance he had found himself in. Letting his three crimson tomoe's to guide him, he swerved through the beast's countless attempt to squash him, effortlessly dodging it's easy to read attack patterns before landing several critical hits on the underbelly of the beast, causing the beast to howl in pain. He watched the blood trickle down it's flawless white fur after finding himself at a safe distance. A welcome scene always, but he knew this was nothing, for this beast was a great daiyoukai. It would take much more before It would fall but he was committed to the battle. In a mind like his, there was only victory or death, nothing else, and he would have it no other way. Closing his eyes, he rammed the tip of his Odachi into the snow before slamming his hands together. With hands molded together in a tora fashion, his aqua blue chakra immediately began to appear, engulfing his hands almost immediately as he summoned his energy throughout his body to a single point. Having done this a thousand times since he was before even a Genin, he decided up his game for once. Granted, he had already used this ability before in the battle, but now? He was determined to make it far more viable in the long run. Sending said collected chakra into his lungs, he gasped for a similar amount of air the beast made for his moot howl in the distance, and began the slow process of condensing the moisture within the trapped air. He hoped to create a far more powerful mist than he had ever before, with the hopes It would give him the advantage in close quarters.

BTB.png

Than he saw it, from the jaws of his foe, a massive purple ball, adjacent by several crimson & aqua colored orbs, suddenly appeared, and justly, aimed straight for him. His red eyes widen at the immense danger. He had no idea what It was or how such a beast could muster such an attack. As If the situation couldn't get any worse, the dam thing was growing even larger as the seconds went by him. He gritted his teeth. He didn't think the tables would be turned against him so quickly, and before he could even release his mist jutsu, and to think, just a minute or two ago, he was the one on the defensive. Regardless of his scrambled thoughts on the matter, before his mind could even hope to find a counter on this dangerous development, he found the massive ball of energy coming straight for him! Screaming through the air like a canon being torn out of it's canon, he only have seconds to respond in kind.....If he wanted to survive that is....

Evident by the lack of time he had, there was no hope to think of a solution for a counter attack or pull himself out of dodge, though he was having doubts he could even dodge such an attack in the first place. Rather, with the only resource at his deposal sitting imbued from within the palms of his hands, his fingers still locked in a tora formation, his mind raced to the quickest thing his mind could conjure in the few seconds he had. From his lungs and mouth, the tremendous amount of chakra he had gathered from prior, was now being condensed into one colossal ball of energy of his own. Truth be told, he had never tried this before, let alone something of this magnitude, but what choice did he have? It was either this or certain death. With his palms now crossed over one another, he held them up in a horizontal fashion, took aim at the monster that seeked to end his life, and fired. Immediately, the colossal sphere of energy raced towards his target, screaming even as It tore through the air like a powerful gust of wind and than....nothing. He blinked twice, than his eyes tore wide open. Just like that, all that raw chakra wasted, he couldn't believe it. The moment his chakra sphere made contact with the beast's, It was simply absorbed into it's mass, as It had been nothing but a brief interference. With nothing in it's trajectory, the beast's vile weapon continued it's screaming advance towards him. Was this it? Was this all he had? To go so far, to survive so much, only to die in a place like this? In a moment of weakness, a first for him, he closed his eyes, ready to finally accept death, and end the anguish he's had to deal with until now. He surrounded himself in complete darkness, awaiting for death to finally take him. Amidst the shadows however, stood a lone ray of light, a beacon If you would. He found himself dumbfounded by it's sudden appearance, but the moment It took it's true form, he found himself chuckling at the sight. It was his purple lotus, of course It was. Her projection stood there, tilting her head ever so slightly to the right of her shoulder, clearly confused. "Why do you hesitate? Or have you forgotten the promise you made to me? Because I haven't. I'm still waiting for him to come back to me." The way she ushered those words, his stomach twisted in ways he never thought possible. They had cut deep, like a hot blade cutting through a block of butter. He hadn't forgotten, that would be impossible, It was just, well, he didn't know the words to say or how to express himself. "I don't know who you are, but the man I love would never give up, no matter the danger. On principle alone, he would stand his ground, all the way to the end. Unlike him, you cower before death, so eager to meet your end. That's not the end for any true warrior of the code." Hearing her thoughts, he chuckled again. She would be brutal in her words. That was just like her but he wouldn't expect anything less from the woman he had loved. Where he would often falter and question why he was doing the things he was doing, the same could never be said for her. Ever so diligent and hardworking she was. Despite being forced into her position with little, If any freedom, she never fumbled, spoke out or hesitated, not once since he had known her, which couldn't be said for himself, always needing guidance and conviction to press forward with his life. For a moment, his cheeks turned a faint pink. Kami, she was so much stronger than him. A truly impressive woman indeed, and he considered him blessed to have her, and If on que, or If she could read his mind, which he swear on his life, she could in fact do, he felt her warm embrace, her arms stretching around his damaged frame. She rested her head on his shoulder, nestling the side of her head against him. He thought to say something, but there was no need, for she could only be the only person who could read and understand his very soul, so in the end, no word were need to be exchanged as he closed his eyes and returned the embrace. Silence soon followed, but eerie? It was not, but like any dream, nothing can last forever. In what felt just a few seconds, the warm embrace he had come to partake in, he found it ending as soon as It came, triggering a storm of emotions he had not experienced in a long time, so much so, he had almost forgot what they felt like. "Hurry home will you? I'll be waiting for you...my love..." Her final words, combined with a single tear he could feel landing on his shoulder, triggered a nonstop ocean of tears to erupt from his closed eyes as he felt her being withdraw from the safety of his arms. Overwhelmed and distraught, as anyone would be in his situation, It took several moments for the calm and collected warrior to regain his bearing. For so long, he tad told himself he was strong, that he had conviction he needed to survive, but here he was in his time of weakness. He thought for so long that his conviction was strong, and yet, he had forgotten the source of his strength, love, the undisputed love his soul had for Shizu. While he had never forgotten, how could he? Since his torture and imprisonment, he lingered further and further away from what had made him strong in the first place, forcing himself to change, to be strong for the sake of being strong so that prior events would never happen again, yet he left the most crucial component out, not giving It a second thought. Well not anymore, he refused to become like that, to walk down such a path, which would surely lead to his destruction, or worse, his sanity on this world. Regardless, thanks to that precious remainder he needed, he wasn't giving up now or never, and like hell he was dying here of all places. He was going to survive and return to the love of his life, even if it killed him! With his warrior spirit now revigorated, his crimson red eyes suddenly snapped wide open, revealing the awakening of his heavenly eyes for the very first time.

"THIS ENDS NOW!"

Ignoring the rivers of tears that were running down from his awakened eyes, he shouted at the massive beast with no fear or hesitation in his eyes. With only milliseconds left until impact however, his body moved on it's own, his fabled Mangekyo Sharingan triggering it's soon to be, iconic ability. Almost instantaneously, golden flames arose from the ground, engulfing all the earth within the awakened warrior's immediate vicinity. Immediately afterwards, the ghostly remains of a horrendous , skeletal kami suddenly appeared on top of him, before quickly encasing himself and what could only be described as a undead Kami, in a thick, spectral suit of golden armor with a horned, oni like helmet taking root at the top, no doubt to protect the kami spirit he had summoned forth. From amidst the darkness from within, two pulsing, almost vile like, emerald colored green eyes came to light, emerging from the shadowy depth's of it's ornate, helmet's eye sockets, completing it's terrifying form as a great, golden shield materialized in it's left arm while flames erupted and seeped from it's spectral body, thus giving birth to the Tamashi Clan's ultimate weapon...

The Susanoo...

Ignoring the extraordinary feat he had just managed to pull off, something few, If any of his bloodline ever managed to pull off, his body and mind continued to move on without with his input, moving in complete conjunction with the massive kami spirit that now encased his body from bodily harm. With a horrifying roar, as If the Susanoo itself was alive, sentient even, immediately rose it's great, golden shield to meet the tailed beast bomb that was made to make contact. With literally no time left, the massive, vile ball of energy collided with the Susanoo's shield, triggering a massive explosion to go off, causing untold amount of debris to be thrown in all direction for several moments, all the while kicking snow and dust into the air, clouding the vision of all who were participating in the titanic battle that was unfolding. When the shroud of seemingly, white dust finally vanished, the horrifying suit of spectral armor was still standing, clearly for the next act to begin, and so was he. He stared down the massive beast with spine chilling eyes, determined to tear it's very soul of it's body, but he wasn't done, not by a longshot, and he knew exactly what to do next, consequences be dammed...

Marshaling up a substantial amount of chakra from his body, using his joined together hands as a catalysts, he than slammed the palm of his right hand against the ground the moment he was ready to go, prompting a small cloud to suddenly appear from thin air. Seconds later, as If on schedule, a familiar silhouette could be seen standing amidst the center. As the small cloud quickly dissipated, It was revealed to be none other than his self proclaimed wife, Izumai, and in usual fashion, she was smug as ever, standing there with a grin on her face while her tails soared through the air in a erratic fashion. With her fragile, child like hand on her hip, she made a suggestive glare with her mischievous amber colored eyes the instance the two quickly made eye contact.

Izumai
"Fufufufu! I knew you couldn't resist me for long! I hope your haven't forgotten our little arrangement my dear husband? Because I certainly haven't! Fufufufu!"

Ignoring her countless shenanigans, like the childish giggling that were escaping from her lips, or the fact she tried to act alluring with her usual, wannabe sultry like stance, he retraced his awaken eyes back on the beast who was seemingly too busy studying his new found power to make a move, giving him the ample time he needed to continue. "No....." He kept his head tilted over his shoulder, as he glared down the beast, ready to act on moment's notice. In response, once Izumai heard her husband's spine chilling response, her expression abruptly changed to something far more serious, a first for her. It was clear he was in no mood to play today. "So what did you have in mind Seto?" Musing in a serious tone of her own while the little Kami crossed her arms, Seto kept his attention on the Daiyoukai that stood infront of them. Silence soon followed for a few seconds before he finally answered. "Were ending this....with my final trump card..." Her eyebrow raised, she looked at him with eyes of admiration and surprise, amazed, dumbfounded even he was able to come up with such an ability in the in such a short period of time since his last training session with her. "You mean." The Kitsune was abruptly stopped in her tracks before she could finish her thought process, his cold spoken voice overwriting her. "It's time Izumai.....Get on my shoulder...." With a gentle nod from her head, the loli Kitsune joined her hands together, and made a dwarf of herself as she took her place on his right shoulder, no bigger the size of a towering frog that could be found amongst frogs that were too, like her, attuned to nature itself. Ignoring the fact his chakra network was now fused with the Loli that enjoyed molesting him like It was like her favorite pastime, he kept his mind completely fixated on his target on front of him. Like her however, he soon joined Izumai in her quest as he mashed his hands together, and began mustering all the nature energy he could gather. With Izumai at his side, in a matter of moments, he could his reservoirs filled to the brink, convincing It was time to continued the next phase of his plan to bring down this thing in one full sweep. In doing so, his eyes spurned open, revealing his awaken, crimson eyes had changed, his pupils having taken on the appearance of a Kitsune, sporting vertical pupils. If that wasn't bad enough, along the dark pigmentation that engulfed his eyes, he yet again, felt six fluffy tails behind his body, eagerly twirling through the air as If they had a mind of their own. Despite the bestial change to his appearance, he felt nothing by it as his body skyrocketed in ways he had never possible. He looked down at the palm of his hand, before clenching it. He could feel the surge in power, the power coursing through his veins. There was no words to describe the feeling, but deep down, It had the power to disseminate, to kill, not only others but himself as well. It could easily spell the doom of many, not that he would let that happen, but for now, all that mattered was his target. "So this.....is Sage Mode...." Muttering to himself outload while stilling looking down at his now, fist, It was Izumai's turn to cut him off, as evident by her now, even small, fragile body leaning over his shoulder, her amber eyes focused on him, all the while she kept her hands together, clearly still gathering nature energy for him to use. "You only got thirty seconds Seto since this is our first joining together, so make it count!" Making the acknowledgement with a nod, he returned his attention back on Masuda, whom was seemingly readying himself for another attack on the duo. "That's plenty......Do it Izumai." Giving the order in his malevolent, cold sounding tone, he ordered the Kitsune to fulfill the last part of his strategy, all the while he drew his Odachi from it's place in the snow, taking it in his free hand, triggering a riple effect to soon occur, as moments afterwards, the spectral chakra armor that was his Susanoo, spawned a golden colored, spectre looking katana of it's own, to go along with it's towering shield. In response, he was met with a serious series of mischievous giggling from his partner, whom was seemingly pleased with out events had played out so far. "If you insist....my dear husband!" Ignoring her loli chuckling, he soon his eyes looking up, no doubt in wilderment for what came next. As If the battle of two titanic creatures couldn't grow anymore intense, It only took seconds before a massive amount of chakra suddenly spurred out of Izunai, and erupted into the air, surrounding the two, engulfing the spectre armor he had summoned for his protection. Enveloping the Susanno like a powerful waterfall, the pure, natured infused chakra washed over it's exterior, wrapping it's spectre frame in a intimidating suit of samurai armor as It made it's way to the surface below, all the while two massive, feathered like wings, no doubt made out of pure chakra, spurred out from it's back, thus marking the birth of something new, his ultimate weapon, the Susanno Tenshi.....

With only thirty seconds to spar, he would gamble everything on his next series of attacks, knowing he wouldn't get a second chance, not after unleashing his triumph card. It was a do or die situation, though he wouldn't have it any other way. Despite the immense tension running down his spine, he kept himself focused as he went on the offensive. With Izumai firmly fused to his shoulder, as If she was simply a extension of his body, he stood at the center of the Susanno Tenshi as he directed the spectre warrior forward towards the Daiyoukai. In consequence, the massive spectre warrior let out a mountainous battle cry before it launched itself forward, using it's astronomical sized wings to propel itself forward. With it's Katana held high in it's two hands, the Susanno Tenshi tore through the air at blistering speeds, lunging itself towards the monster like a screeching bullet. Whether caught off guard by the spectre's impressive speed or through some other, unknown combination, the beast found itself completely out maneuvered, unable to react in time as the intimidating, the wrathful spirit closed the distance. In a spectacular flash of light, the wraith's blade propelled itself forward, tearing into the monster's flesh before making it's way through it's right eye socket at a speed unconceivable to a mere human, demonstrating it's talent as a true master swordsmen. upon it's nerves registering the wound, Masuda let out a mighty, thunderous wail like sound, indicating the beast clearly found itself in pain. A second late however, as If the situation couldn't get any worse, a small, delayed explosion suddenly went off, engulfing the monster's already mutilated face in a heated cloud of pure fire, triggering It to wail even louder than before, as It stepped backwards a few feet while shaking it's head in a unpredictable fashion. Seto smirked at the results. He had thought the beast would have noticed the heatwave he had created using his blade as a conductor, but he could only guess his new found speed kept him one step ahead of the beast. Regardless of the reason. He certainly wasn't going to complain, especially since the monster was now severely wounded. First, it was it's tail, and now? Now it had just lost it's left eye, crippling the beast further, and to think, he had only wasted eight of his thirty seconds.

T1.png

Izumai
"That was impressive husband, but It take more than that to take down a Youkai like Masuda. That said, I'm sure my magnificent husband has something else up his sleeve....right?"

Looking up, past her shoulder, her eyes met his. She batted a suggestive smirk while she waited for his response, but he remained unfazed. He was far too focused on the battle to be effective by such trivial. His eyes still locked on Masuda, he returned the gesture with a slight nod of his head. "A few.....such as the "Erupting Hurricane" technique I've been honing for years. Time to see If my training has paid off." Immediately, as If on que or If the ghostly avatar could read the thoughts of it's master, the wraith redrew it's conjured katana, only for it to be completely immersed in a powerful eruption of fire, erupting from it's Tsuba, before racing over the tip of the blade withdrawing below to engulf to the handle in which the ghostly warrior held the blade. Seto had, of course, used his mastery of fire, amplified by his powers granted to him by Sage Mode to give his spectre warrior the much needed killing power It would need for this attack. Still being new to, well...all of this, sage mode, the awakening of his Mangekyou Sharingan, he wasn't sure how this next attack would go down, especially since he had never perfected It as a child. It was certainly a gamble to be sure, but this entire battle been a gamble, and he wasn't planning to stop anytime soon.....

With his Susanoo at the ready, it's blade embellished in holy fire, he took one of his valuable seconds to close his eyes and take a deep breath, to collect himself further. At the ready, when the next moment arrived, his eyes flashed open, revealing his Mangekyou Sharingan spiraling in activation. "LETS GO!" With a confident roar escaping his lips, the Susanno lunged forward, it's massive, spectre like wings launching itself onward as It raced towards it's target. Expecting another frontal attack like before, the great daiyoukai stood it's ground, ready to go on the offensive or fall back If needed, showing no fear in it's one left remaining crimson eye, even as the ghostly monstrosity grew ever closer with it's ever potent blade. Once the "three" of them drew within Masuda's range, he allowed his Mangekyou Sharingan to take charge, leading the way as It searched for the "path" leading to the future, or in practical sense, to simply find the most optimal path in evading the Youkai's retaliation as he moved in for his assault. As expected, the oversized wolf moved first. Using it's four legs, the beast lunged itself forward, perhaps in an attempt to tear his spectre warrior to pieces using it's titanic fangs, but having expected this, the Susanno Tenshi suddenly leaped in the air, dodging it's easily read attack as it spiraled through the air like a massive vortex. Through combination of his blade and imbuing more of his own chakra into the frame of his Susanno, it immediately became ablazed in a terrifying layer of fire, giving It the appearance of a horizontal tornado embedded with fire. Caught off guard by this sudden development, Masuda found himself dumbstruck, unable to react as the flame embedded vortex tore through him, engulfing his body. What came next was a long series of howling screams as the Susanno Tenshi's blade not only tore into the beast's body continually like a bloody storm of blades, but completely engulfed the monster in a whirlwind of never ending fire. By the time the attack ended several seconds later, with the "vortex of fire" landing behind it, the Daiyoukai fell to it's knee before finally collapsing to the ground, whimpering in complete agony. When the vortex subsided and the Susanno once again, turned to face it's opponents, he grinned. It wasn't dead yet, but by the judging of it's charred fur and the countless wounds that laid scattered all over it's body. It was only a matter of time. That said, out of his remaining twenty two seconds, he had just twelve seconds remaining. That would most likely give him one more attack, maybe two If he was lucky. With little, If any time to think, he would have to finish this the good old fashion way. It was a good thing this thing had a shield.....

When the next instance came, he immediately thought to go on the offensive, to show no mercy to such a beast, to eliminate it without remorse, but as soon as that moment came, so did he hear the voice of his beloved, reminding him he was no blood thirsty monster but a warrior of honor. At such a thought, he sighed, his crimson eyes being shut from the world. Despite the events that had shaped him into who he was now, he was still the same person underneath all the baggage he had received in the last few years. As such, as the beast had given him a fair, honorable battle, It was only right he do what the Daiyoukai deserved, a honorable death. Given the beast couldn't even carry itself under it's own weight, laying there on the now, charred ground, whimpering in pain like an animal at a hunter's mercy, It was only fitting he put it out of it's misery. He knew Izumai may have other "thoughts" on the matter but he didn't care. He wouldn't allow the use of anymore elaborate attacks, especially ones that would put it in further pain. Such attacks were unnecessary, and to a extent, barbaric. Opening his eyelids, his crimson eyes tilted to a miniaturized Izumai who was still sitting on his shoulder. "This battle...is over Izumai. I shall grant the beast Kerai's peace, and I will hear no objections." His tone strict, and as cold as the mountains he stood atop of, his eyebrows raised ever so slightly when he received no such objections from his self proclaimed Kami Wife. His mind wanted to process it, but with his remaining time deteriorating quickly, there was no time but to act on the decision he had made. Commanding the Susanno Tenshi like an a extension of his being like he would with his Odachi, the moment his mind took command, telling his body lung forward, the Susanno Tenshi mimicked what his mind would tell his body. Within a second or two, the spectre warrior had already closed the distance between itself and it's adversary, no doubt to it's massive wings on it's back, spurring it forward. Once It was on top of the dying beast, his ghostly aberration disregarded it's shield, opting to wield it's massive blade instead as It moved to deliver the final blow. Looking down at the beast in agony with his Susanno's blade raised far above it's head, he refused to take his eyes off the beast. "I don't know what afterlife exists for a Youkai, but may you find peace....Masuda. I shall grant you a death fitting for a true warrior. That's the least I can do for a opponent who fought with honor and pride. Rest now....." With no words left to say, he fell silent as the spectre blade descended down towards the Daiyoukai's cranium. With his last remaining seconds vaporizing quickly, his kept his eyes as the blade finally made contact with the beast's cranium. Immediately, It's eyes spurred open, followed by a whimpering howl before it finally went eerie silent. It was done, and so was this battle. With the Daiyoukai named Masuda no more, the spectre armor that was his Susanno vanished in the blink of a eye and in the next second that came, It was followed up by Izumai leaping off his shoulder. He closed his eyes, a breath of air escaping him. He couldn't put it into words, but he felt satisfied with the outcome, as If there was any other outcome. When his eyes opened once more, he was welcomed by the scene of a now, full sized Izumai, starring him down like a hungry predator. With her tails wagging wildly, and that iconic smirk of his, he was sure this was going to be something he wasn't going to like....

Standing there, he could see Izumai standing before him, standing there in all "her" supposed glory, her lips making a smirk, her tiny, fragile fingers pointing towards her stomach, her tails wagging excessive like a spoiled dog, her fox like ears standing straight up, yet he could hear nothing, his eyes bare, barring him little, if any vision he all took for granted. Than out of nowhere, It all hit him at once, his body collapsed, his legs gave out, sending him to the charred ground below. Laying there on the ground, his vision began to darken, such as the time he thought he had finally met his end. With his lids closing, he couldn't see much aside from the white tips of Izumai's tails. Once they were reaching the epilogue, he could see Izumai, her head tilted in a diagonal fashion, her face beaming with a smile. He wanted to fight back, to stand up on his two feet, but his body wouldn't have any of it. He could feel nothing, not his arms, not his feet, not even his fingers. He didn't understand, was this? Than his conscious faded into the unknown. When he arose again, his eye lids barely opened, his vision still terribly blurry, he looked down. He could see a trail being made behind him. Was he being dragged behind by somebody? Who? Izumai? But she held the stature of a child. There was any way she could muster the strength to drag him....right? Despite this possible revelation, there was no time. He felt his mind drifting once more, his eyes closing again despite his valiant attempts to stay awake. It would be quite some time before he would awake again, but when he did, now for the third, and hopefully, final times, his eyes came to life, granting him back his vision, or at least a portion of it. Everything was still blurry, but he could at least, focus. Taking the environment in, he blinked twice. He was up against a wall in a cave. Was he in Masuda's cave? That would be the logical answer, as he doubted there was any other nearby. Looking around, his theory was confirmed. He could see the countless claw markings on the walls and ground. Izumai was no where to be seen, obviously. Being a summoning, there was no possibility in her staying at his side indefinitely. Feeling the warmth of the fire however, he could guess she had more than enough time to seemingly drag him out of the cold and make him a burning fire. There was also the snow white fur that surrounded him that functioned somewhat like a blanket. It must of came from the beast but how It was in it's current condition was beyond him. He didn't really care to be frank. He was alive, that's all that really mattered. He sighed hard at the thought before he looked up at the rocky ceiling. Now that he could properly think, there was no doubt in his mind that he must have collapsed from extreme fatigue. Such was the cost If he was going to win and that he did. That said, he hadn't expected his first time usage of his Mangekyou Sharingan combined with Sage Mode to be so straining on the body. Boy was he wrong. Whenever he able to make it back home, he had alot of endurance training to do IF he wished to that again, the creation of the Susanno Tenshi. He sighed again once he realized the full extent of his current condition. He felt so weak. A weak, desperate smirk arosed acrossed on his face. He was gonna be here forever.....

After some time, his eyes awoken. He saw the raging snowstorm outside. He blinked twice at the scenery in the background. Had he fallen asleep? Well, that would explain himself feeling a bit better than before, but now his stomach ached to be filled. He sighed. Hunting? And in his condition? That would be a challenge at the least. His mind than reminded him of the great Daiyoukai that had nearly taken his life. His eyelids closed for a moment. He wasn't particularly fond of desecrating the dead, no matter who they were, even If they were once his enemy. The dead should be allowed to rest in peace, as honor dictated, but said honor wasn't going to keep him alive. He sighed again. It looks like he wouldn't have a choice, but deep down, did it matter? He had already fallen so low compared to the idiotic person he was in his youth. He shrugged every so slightly at the thought. He supposed he could just add another thing to the list that made him a honor breaker. Still, as his crimson eyes peered into the snowstorm, the cold breeze resting against the exposed holes of his clothes, he would feel a shiver run down his spine. It was cold, earth shattering so. Izumai had made him a fire before she was returned to their "home", and while he had kept at it, keeping it alive with the firewood Izumai had presumably gathered for him, It wasn't enough. It would starve off the cold, but he couldn't know for how long. He than remembered Musada's corpse again, and all the lovely fur he had, burnt for sure, but still usable for sure. There was also a part of him that wanted a prize, a memento of sorts to remember the battle by. That was when his glorious mind came up with the idea of a massive scarf, or a short cape of the beast's fur. It was a devilish idea indeed and he knew it, but he was encroaching the line between doing what is honorable and what he had to do to survive. He thought about those things, but he had already decided. Who he was trying to fool? Himself? He chuckled quietly to himself. He laid the side of head against the rocky surface of the cave's rather uncomfortable walls. It seemed he would pull himself together once the snowstorm ended and force himself outside. He was going to hope the corpse wouldn't be too buried or else he digging for awhile. That made him look at the palm of his hand, in which his veins were clearly shown, nearly ready to pop out from his skin. While he was sure he could conjure some chakra for the ordeal, he didn't need to be a medical specialist to know that would be foolhardy in his current situation. He sighed again. He was in quite the pickle wasn't he?...

With great trembling in his legs, his crimson eyes stared over the remains of the beast. With the winter breeze coming and going on a dim's notice, he could feel the bone crushing, cold air brushing up against his bare skin as It came back around round to harass him over and over, all the while blood ran down his arms, originating from the carving knife he held within his right hand. The deed was done, after countless minutes, after nearly freezing to death, after mustering the will to push himself back up, he found himself with his prize or memento, a massive white scarf that could always be taken as a short, fur cape of sorts. He was lucky indeed. He had thought for sure that his overwhelming, relentless attacks with Izumai at his side, had charred the mosnter's entire body to darkness, yet he found some luck in all of this when a small portion of the Daiyoukai's body remained pure. Bearing the color of a pure virgin, it was snow white. Somehow, it fit his the Kimono Izumai had fashioned for him so long ago, yet he wouldn't complain, even If It still felt like he was grave rubbering to a extent. A portion of his mental state pleaded for him to give the beast a proper beast, as what honor dictated, but in his condition? All he could do was simply sigh. Despite wanting to, he was far too weak in his current condition to do anything as fatigue heavy as that. Besides, given the location he found himself at, at the top of a dam mountain no less, he was sure the very snow that attempted to take his life, would bury and preserve the beast's body. Still, despite the immense cold, his crimson eyes continued to stare down at the beast, knowing what such a outcome represented. For a moment, he looked up at the never ending, snowy sky before closing his eyes. With this victory in hand, it meant only one thing, It was time, after so long, It was time to return home and rightfully claim what was his. He wasn't sure what would be the ramifications of his return to his clan, but he wouldn't remain idlily by, not when people were waiting for him, not when he knew his purpose. There was always the chance, of course, he may get into a physical confrontation with his father, but he cross that bridge when he came to it. He even welcome it, given his new found strength. Flashing his eyes open once again, his aching, fatigued body turned towards the cave he could in the distance. Regardless of his future plans, the immediate future was still the same. For now, he needed to return to the cave and regain more of his strength. Soon enough, he need to hunt some wild game If he ever had any hopes of surviving, let alone returning home. Izumai, being the ever gracious, self titled wife she was to him, made sure to provide something for him before she disappeared, but it wouldn't be enough to hold him over for long. At least with his new, fury scarf-cape, It keep him warm for the time being...

After some time, he stood at the entrance of the cave with all the belongings he could muster, ranging from his damaged Odachi to his battered, torn bacpack. For a moment, his head tilted over his right shoulder, his eyes peering over to, the now dead campsite. No longer was there a burning campfire or the burning sensation of flesh, just remains of a individual who was once here. A part of him wanted to remain, to not leave the safety of the cave that have had given him shelter since his battle with the Daiyoukai, but the warrior spirit resting aside inside him, refused him to sit idle any longer, and he agreed. He had more time resting, and even managed to acquire some small game, feeding his still fatigued body, but he couldn't remain here any longer. The chapter in this specific portion of his life might have ended but that didn't mean It was over. His head than reverted back to the gaze of the snow falling from the sky. It was time to return home, his true home and reclaim what was his. It would be a peerless journey, as It was getting to this point originally, but he was stronger now, so much so compared to what he was before. Looking down, his sharingan filled eyes stared down at the palm of his right hand before It came together, clenching into a fist. It was time to leave. With a heavy inhale of cold air, he quickly exhaled before taking the courage to step forward into the cold wrenching snow, his leather boots absorbing the brunt of it's bone crushing cold. He adored his kimono's hood over his forehead as he began pushing him forward. With every step taken, slow and steady no doubt, he made his way towards the pass he had used once before to climb the mountain up. His eyelids flickered closed and open as he pushed himself forward. He didn't remember the snow bothering him so much during battle, but than again, he had been so focused on surviving, let alone winning, that he allow such a mundane detail distract him. Regardless of his internal thoughts, he brushed the icy flakes from the exterior of his face in a calm and collected manner, not wanting to make it worse for himself. He trudged forward, and eventually, began the slow descend down the mountain pass. He could see dots off the cliffside, most likely places of interest, but he couldn't tell. He shrugged. Sooner or later, he get down further enough he be able to make them out. For now, he had to keep moving, using the thoughts of finally reuniting with his Shizu, his family, and yes, even the fox loli, to give him the motivation to continue...
