What was Kumiko doing wrong. Attack after attack none of her offensive techniques seemed to beat down this monsters defense. Though at least she was holding her own against his offensive. In no way did she wish her opponent to go easy on her, however, this 'lesson' was to try and teach her the art of fighting. If things kept up like this she'd learn nothing.

She thought she was clam. She thought she was attacking with precision and accuracy. But apparently not. " What do you think I've been doing!"

[Juzo]

Juzo was winded but one could hardly call it exhausted. It was more combat than he had seen in months and it felt good to be in the pit. Even if the young woman was inexperienced, she had spirit and seemed stubborn enough to endure his harsh words. Those traits would serve her well, almost as well as her sharingan. The Med-nin noticed it was even the higher form which meant she had a great deal of potential. They just needed to help her refine it. The blue haired man would recommend her for a spar with someone closer to her level, she would likely do very well in that circumstance. For now he would point out what she needed to change.

"Call it a day?" He yelled across the generously sized arena. "We can review what you did right and what you can change to do better."

With that he would relax his stance and let his clones poof into the air. There was only so much to be learned during the heat of combat. The rest came from quiet meditation on your fights and mentally reviewing and practicing whatever your mentor said was worth changing. In this case he found himself the mentor as opposed to the student. Perhaps one day soon he would take his own apprentice. The man had never cared for genin teams, or the pain it caused him as a young man, so he found the prospect of a single apprentice more appetizing. Besides, it matched his own operating procedure. The man was a loner and worked best on his own. Because, while he was good at using misdirection and deception, he could not make another person good at hiding in the shadows through sheer willpower.
