The time spent in the Diamond Maelstrom had weathered his body down to a battered mess, and the as-of-yet-unknown beauty who caught him at the Maw seemed to relax his otherwise stubborn and defiant nature. The thought of all the poking and prodding that went on in the Tower made him cringe, but he would bear it just this once.
