Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"Ugh... I swear. You pussy's get on my nerves sometime. Time to get yall lazy asses up and stop laying around." Junko said picking up several kittens. It had been a minute since the white lotus took on any assignments and they were beginning to get lazy.

"Ah Junko, we are surely packing heavy."

"Oh Yeah, it'll be awhile before we get back." Junko said throwing one of the felines to the side

"I'm all done."Yoshi said putting his packed backpack on his back.

"Great! Now, to get these dumb bums moving." Junko said shaking a feline furiously.

"Please be careful baby."

"Hey, I need you guys to track down Kunashi and Akane. Tell them to meet me at the village gates heavily packed tomorrow. Bright and early. Don't be late. It's time to become ninja. Oh, and give them a congratulations for me. I've been hearing a lot about them." Junko said with a smirk.

Giving a stretch, The kittens nodded. Scattering in an instance with cat reflexes, the white lotus was off to relay the message. The two would have a great journey ahead for them. Time would surely fly, but they wouldn't be missed. in fact, no one would even know they left probably.

"Is uncle Aiko coming?"

"Sure, invite that gentle scrub. He's going to make things even more interesting."

"So what's the plan?"

"Survive." Junko said placing a hand on Yoshi's head.

"I even have things in store for you..."

"Well well... This will be interesting."

Akane was home with her mother, Oka, eating a snack on the patio. Oka was cleaning Akane's silver flute which had not been played in a few months, maybe closer to a year. She just did not have time to play it lately.

Soon a kitten came running up.
"Junko says to meet him at the gates tomorrow morning. Pack heavy, and dont be late."
The little kitten spoke! Though this wasn't a surprise to Akane seeing as she met a ninja kitty before. But Oka had never seen a talking cat before, she wouldn't say a thing though as she was always quiet.

Akane, still recovering from the battle she had with a cat earlier that day, nodded to the white tiger kitten. "I will be there." She stated with a grin. The kitten left, seeming to have been there very quickly.

"Looks like its going to be a long trip mom, you should come too, peek into the ninja world, since you avoid every world in general." Akane spoke directly to her mother, who looked up at Akane with curious filled eyes.

"Alright." Oka said simply with a nod.

Akane smiled brightly, she was excited to be bringing her mother, hopefully Junko would not mind at all.

Next morning

Akane had been packing all night, clothing, books, a few hidden candy bars, tools, her silver flute,, and her current two swords. She also packed a sleeping bag, just in case they planned on camping.

As for Oka, she didn't need much. She packed clothing, and a few books. She didn't do much but watch anyways. She was waiting for Akane outside their home, she made sure to bring her keys, as well, she wanted their doors locked.

Akane came running out of the house with a bag a bit bigger than herself on her back. It made her a little less balanced than normal, but she would deal with it. "Lets gooooo!" She shouted as she took off already.

Oka blinked as she was unable to stop her daughter from running ahead. She locked the door, and then ran out to see if she could catch up with her daughter. "A-Akane! I am not a ninja, I can't keep up with you!" Oka called out, already out of breath.

Akane blinked and looked at her mother. She had forgotten her mother was not very active. Akane backtraced, and walked side by side with her mother all the way to the village's gate to meet up with Junko.

Night was falling, and the sunset was beaming in through Kunashi's balcony. The light bounced off the wood flooring and permeated the apartment, giving it a orange hue. Out on the balcony was a mat and the smell of incense burning. Kunashi was breathing deeply, his eyes closed, exploring the depths of his mind in the tranquility of the Kumogakurean air. As the day passed, the city slowed down, making this the opportune time to take in the serenity of his environment. Though he had been in a trance for some time, he was awoken by a rap at his chamber door. Roused from his peace, he stood and made his way to his front door. Opening it widely, he saw a small white kitten standing before him.

"Tora-san, I can say that I was not expecting to see you tonight. Would you like to come in?"

"No, Kunashi-kun. That will not be necessary. I am here to deliver a message from Junko-sama. He says to meet him at the village gates packed heavily early tomorrow morning. It is time for you to become a shinobi. Also, he sends his congratulations on your recent experiences outside of the village, you have been quite active."

"Well tell him thank you. Also that I will see him at the gates. I look forward to it."

Kunashi then politely bowed to the kitten, and closed the door. Apparently he would be getting no more meditation in tonight, it was time to pack. He rolled up his meditation mat and incense. He went and grabbed his new gift, a shakuhachi, he acquired from Kioku-sama. Placing the things together, he then moved on to his clothing. He folded everything neatly and placed it all closely together. He would be mostly wearing his normal clothing, variations of a hooded jacket and baggy pants. He also tucked away some bigger clothes, a white jacket, undershirt and hakama, and a red sash. He had found them at a local shop, and they were discounted, so Kunashi decided to be frugal and stock up. He brought them just in case; he wasn't sure how long Junko had this thing planned for. He felt as if his clothing choices were sufficient, and stacked them all neatly together. He then moved to his equipment. He packed a backpack full of essentials-- a bedroll, tent, cooking equipment, everything a shinobi would need in the field. He also tucked away a roll of bandages into a bag, and then moved on to his small pouches he kept on his person. Packing them away with goodies in case of a fight, he also laid out his sword, kunai, and clothes he would travel in. Now his only problem left was how to transport this heap of items.

RiAnK49iL.jpeg

He had it! He rifled through his house and found three scrolls. Labelling them appropriately, he then inscribed seals on each one of them. With the scrolls prepared, he formed a series of handseals, sealing away the three piles into their respective scrolls. Kunashi did prefer to travel lightly. Deciding to get a good nights sleep before the journey, he headed off to bed.

--- Early the Next Morning ---

Kunashi stretched as he greeted the sun's beams once more. He was still unsure as to what the day's events held for him, but he learned to trust in Junko. Gathering his scrolls and putting on the equipment he left out for himself in the morning, Kunashi walked out of his apartment, locking the door behind him. On the way to the gates, he stopped at a tea shop and purchased some tea, both as a drink and as leaves for the future. Sipping his tea, he made his way to the village gates to see just what the crazy man had in store for him today.

"Good to see you guys make it." Yoshi said standing in a near tree next to Karin holding a baby. If the two would look up, they'd notice the entire gang was within the trees, except Junko and Aiko.

"Ugh, I wonder what Junko have planned today. It's killing me. I really want to know."

"He didn't tell you? Now that's a surprise."

"He did say pack heavy, and we're at the gates. So, I'm guessing a vacation? A break from the ninja life?"

"A break? Ha! That man doesn't know what a break is."

"He better not! We don't take breaks within the white lotus." Kiba shouted in response to Karin.

"But you guys were all slouching like a bunch of sloths yesterday." Karin replied as she rolled her eyes.

Jumping from the tree, Yoshi landed with a smile on his face as the rest of the group talked in the background.
"Well, whatever's going on... I'm glad it's with you guys." Yoshi said scratching the back of his head nervously. It was apparent that Akane still had her genjutsu active on him because he couldn't help his himself from turning a bit red.

Looking at the group, the boy couldn't help but feel like a growing family. A crazy growing family, but a family none the less.
"Good to meet you mam. Welcome to the gang!" Yoshi said with laughter as he looked at the new face that traveled with Akane.

"Yoshi! What time did Junko say he'd be here?!" Karin shouted interrupting.

"Should be around now." Yoshi said shaking his head.

As usual, time would begin to shift. Every minute seemed to last a life time when it came to waiting on Junko. Why was he always late? Who knows! But, it was beginning to become a signature thing of his. Unfortunately, only after a matter of hours, an explosion of smoke occurred, revealing the prodigy brothers.

"Better late then never huh?" Aiko said with a smile as the smoke dispersed. Wearing a straw hat and a new yukata, Aiko was packed and ready to go.

"Seems like everyone's ready huh?" Junko said smoking his herbal cigarette. Wearing his own yukata, Junkos katana rested at his side with his black jacket blowing in the wind.

Looking unamused Karin shook her head.
"Do you know ... HOW LONG WE'VE BEEN WAITING!? HUH?!"

"Umm... Well.. Ya see.. Uhh. A black cat crossed our path and we had to take the long way." Junko responded nervously with an awkward smile. Looking at Karin, she stared at Junko with her Byakugan activated. Fury and rage pulsed through her eyes. she was a fearful force and Junko was doing a great job in pissing her off.

"I'll try to make sure he's more on time. He was dropped as a child. He has no awareness of time. You know how dumb he can be." Aiko said attempting to save his brother.

Laughing in the background, the white lotus was enjoying the show. Meanwhile, Yoshi shook his head with a smirk as Karin came down from the tree.

"Hopefully he isn't killed before we even get started today."

Akane smiled as she say a pretty big crowd had gathered, well it was moderately big. Lots of talking and laughing. They were also all in the tree's as well. Akane ran up to the tree Yoshi was in, as he greeted them. Hey guys long time no see huh?" She exclaimed with a big grin. She waved to Kunashi who had walked up as well.

Oka seemed a bit nervous though, was it that she was shy? Maybe, just so many people talking, for a woman her age it should be no problem at all, but she has been in the quiet house for a long time. She smiled at the others as she found a place to sit. She looked at Yoshi as he greeted her, but only offered him a smile, as Karin spoke up.

Akane looked up at Karin with a baby, wasn't that the baby that crazy kid brought with him to class? Oh well. This seemed like a crazy family, but she was glad she was able to take part in it. "This is my mom, Oka, she doesn't talk much, but she is a great cook!" Akane introduced her mother to whoever was listening, mostly because she knew her mother had a hard time speaking when others were speaking. But maybe her coming along will help her break out of her little bubble. She took off her bag, as it could be a while until Junko showed up.
Akane looked at Yoshi again, who was now on the ground, She noticed his cheeks were red again. She poked his cheek with a grin. "Don't tell me you got sick. your cheeks always seem red." She told Yoshi with a firm nod.

Now the waiting started. It seemed like hours before Junko, and Aiko showed up.

Akane was beginning to fall asleep, then sudden;y an explosion of smoke happened, waking her right up. She saw Junko, and another man in a straw hat. Akane grabbed her bag and put it on her back, then crossed her arms. They say they ran into a black cat? Remembering her recent incident with a black cake, Akane shuddered, and rubbed the recent cat scratches on her arms. "Well I am pumped and ready to go!" She exclaimed full of energy, even though a minute or so ago she was almost asleep from waiting.

Oka had been reading while she waited for everyone to actually go wherever they were going. This was a lively bunch, and she could not possibly sleep while waiting. Soon enough the wait was over it seemed, as the two they were waiting for showed up. She was quiet the whole time, but she was ready.

"Oh Junko-sensei! This is my mother, Tsukino Oka, she doesn't speak much." Akane stated introducing her mother again. She grabbed her mothers hand with a grin, and dragged her into the small crowd.

The air was cold and brisk, as it always was in Kumogakure. But this did not faze the boy from Water Country. He leisurely walked, sipping his tea and enjoying the place he loved. He made his way to the gates, as requested by Junko onii-san. As he approached, he noticed Akane well ahead of him, striding beside a strikingly beautiful older woman. So beautiful, in fact, that he had to stop and rub his eyes just to be sure she was real. He continued walking, clearing his mind of all thoughts about the woman. He was a boy in puberty, after all. As they stopped at the gates and he started getting closer, he prepared to call out to Akane and say hello. However, he was interrupted by a voice from the treeline nearby. As he searched for the origin of the sound, his eyes fell upon Yoshi-kun. His face was bright red, for some reason. It must have been a reaction to the cold climate. He should know by now to wear warmer clothes! His eyes then moved to Karin onee-san, who was holding a baby. A very familiar baby. Was this what Junko had meant by 'taking care of him?' Adoption? He was surprised by this at first, but then remembered how Junko always took in those that couldn't take care of themselves. This baby definitely fit the bill in that aspect, as did Yoshi at the time. As his tunnel-vision faded, he realized that everyone that Junko associated with on a regular basis. Except for he and Aiko. Kunashi sighed under his breath.

"Typical."

He continued walking toward the group, and was welcomed warmly by Akane-chan, whom he flashed a big smile to. As he approached the group, he heard Akane introduce the woman she had brought along, her mother Oka. He decided to avoid her like the plague, and moved to sit next to his arch-rival, Tora. He began mindlessly petting the brute as he listened to the banter between the people he had become so close to, chiming in to contribute or make a joke every now and then. This went on for hours, and he used the time to catch up with Karin and Yoshi, as well as the White Lotus clan of kittens. He also tried to talk to Akane every so-often, but it seemed she was beginning to fall asleep. He didn't try to talk to Oka because she was so quiet. He hoped that would change, as it would be fun to get to know her a little.

As time progressed and the conversation ensued, Kunashi's patience was beginning to be tested. Junko had always been a few minutes late, sure, but hours? This was becoming crazy! And Aiko-sama too? Generally he kept his rowdier brother in line, this was much unlike him. However, just as Kunashi was about to say something, a cloud of smoke appeared in front of the group, and with it Junko and Aiko-sama. Kunashi stood up to ask them questions, but was beat to the punch by Karin. He decided it would be best to let her handle them, as she did well with it. He chuckled at Junko's awful excuse, and laughed more audibly at Aiko's attempt to ease the situation. The man always knew how to release the tension and remain calm, something that Kunashi admired about his sensei. Shortly before today, Kunashi had lost his temper quite violently at a boy named Rirakkusu, something that he decided he should work on. Emotions cloud logic and thought, after all. He bent over to grab his sheathed sword and double checked his pouches to make sure the scrolls were secure inside. Stretching his legs and butt muscles out due to the prolonged sit he endured, he turned to the pair of brothers.

"So what's the plan, onii-tachi?"

"Oh Junko-sensei! This is my mother, Tsukino Oka, she doesn't speak much."

Turning from Karin after many apologies, Junko noticed Akanes stunning mother. "Nice to meet you and have you along for the joy ride."

"Her moms a good cook!" Yoshi announced with relief.

"Oh! Is that right? Well, that's just what we need!" Junko said with excitement. Putting his hand up to the side of his mouth, he began to whisper. "Please teach Karin! Show her the ropes! Let's just say, she isn't the best." Junko talked low enough so only the four of them could hear.

"So what's the plan, onii-tachi?"

Turning their attention to each other, the brothers smiled.

"Well, we're leaving the village. Kiss this place good bye for about a month. Please don't expect to be missed too much." Junko said beginning a series of hand signs. For those who knew the jutsu, the hand signs would probably be familiar.

"Once again, congratulations Akane and Kunashi. Now, it's time to become true ninja. As we go on this journey together, we will all get stronger and grow. Rather it be in spirit, mind, body, or all three." Aiko said as Junkos chakra slowly accumulated behind them. Twisting and bending with high speeds, Junko's Reality void jutsu was executed.

"You guys will be way ahead of the game by the time we get back. All I'm taking is a little more then a month." Junko said laughing.

"This will be the longest month of your lives." Aiko said out stretching his hand. "Ladies first." Aiko said gesturing the females to enter. As they would, a bright white flash would occur, beginning the start of the next four years of their lives.

Oka looked around at them all as she was dragged by Akane to come meet her Sensei's. She stared at Junko, and Yoshi as they spoke, silently, but then gave them both a big grin as her reply to Junko's question. She sure could try to teach someone how to cook. She loved cooking.

Her smile obviously resembled Akane's usual big grin that she almost always had on. Oka hadn't shown it much to strangers, but she did love to smile.

Akane nodded to Junko, agreeing with Yoshi. She knew her mother could cook very well. She started giggling when Junko asked Her mother if she could teach Karin how to cook. Akane believed her mom could do it, the question was, would she? She seemed way to into her own bubble to try to interact with others.
"My mom can do it." Akane said proudly in response, knowing her mothers was probably too nervous to speak. That would hopefully ware off.

Things seemed to move on quickly, They'd be gone a month? That would be no problem Akane thought to herself. She didn't realise for her, it'd be a bit longer than a month.

Akane watched Junko start a weird Jutsu, it looked like a vortex of somesort. What was that? She wondered, and they were going into it? What did Aiko mean by the longest month of their lives? She was wondering what was going on, but, she shook any hesitation. Ladies first? Alright, Akane got herself pumped up.

"Come one mom!" She exclaimed as she ran into the vortex head first, a bright white light filled her vision.

Oka watched silently, the was weary of whats going on, she never seen something like that before... The ninja's had weird powers most definitely, but before she could say anything against it, Akane had already gone through. She sighed to her self, and looked around one last time before she entered. She was quiet all the way through, walking into the vortex after Akane.

With the brothers now here, and everything ready to go, Kunashi double checked himself. Luckily, nothing was out of place, and everything was ready for his month away from Kumo. He watched as Junko opened his void technique, something that he had now seen a few times in person. He nodded in understanding. So that was the plan. Very intensive training with the Tsuyoshi clan, something he hadn't done in some time. He stepped aside, waiting for everyone but Junko and Aiko to enter the vortex. He would be the third to last to enter, as manners would dictate. He followed soon after Yoshi, and faced the vortex before entering. This part would never get any better. It was a strange thing, to step through a twisting portal to another plane. Leading through with his hand first, he pushed himself through and onto the other side. He quietly wondered just how much time would pass if they would be in here for a month.

Hard work would be these pipsqueaks best friends. They would know pain like the back of their hands, They would learn more about themselves with each passing second, and they would learn how to survive. Junko was the children's teacher, mentor, and protector, but if they didn't learn how to survive on their own, Junko or Aiko wouldn't be a good teacher, mentor, or protector.

2dltzjm.jpg

Snow blowed furiously, crashing against the mountains like large chaotic ocean waves against a fragile boat during a ferocious storm. The mountain was one of the many scenes Junko remembered from his own training outside the village. A night which he scavenged for warmth and followed Daisuke through the icy weather. In their case, it was perfect training weather to condition their bodies to any weather.

Viewing the mountain, Junko and The rest of the gang (Aside from Karin, Akanes Mother, and the baby) advanced up the horrifying mountain with sheer will power alone with one hand tied behind their back. They all strived to make it to the top. Ahead, crawled Junko as he strained more and more with each inch. His eyes were tingling bit by bit as he pushed his body to the limits. The air grew thinner with more height. In the back, climbed Aiko, ensuring the children's safety rather then winning as they would be seen straining to complete the task at hand as well. Chills would travel down their spine and the sight of the top of the mountain would seem like an eternity to make.

"PUSH! CONCENTRATE!" Junko shouted with each moment. Words of encouragement that would surely help. "DON'T GIVE UP!"

meanwhile, even the white lotus struggled. Being lazy pussy cats were surely taking a toll on them. Out of the bunch, Jibakurei was the only one still in proper shape that managed to stay behind Junko.

"Yo, Junko! Mind slowing up? Or a break?" Raiju asked, but his words was drowned out by the wind.

Meanwhile, Yoshi hand began to bleed as he put in his all to keep up with Akane and Kunashi. His clothes was torn and he seemed a bit beat up. If he could, he'd surely like to use his bloodline techniques. Sadly, Junko wasn't having it in any way, form, or fashion. If you did, you'd start back from the bottom.

" You guys got this! We all got this!" Yoshi said giving his own words of inspiration. Despite his words, he began questioning Junkos sanity. Climbing the mountain, with one hand! You had to be insane and talented.

After Six months of intense training in the cold, the group would find themselves in a forest that covered with blazing flames. Sweat would spill from their pores in locations they probably didn't even know could sweat.

Ninety one ...
N...inety two...
Nine..ty thr...

"What number are we on!?" Junko shouted as he looked at the young ones.

"No one knows? Well ... START OVER! Count them off!" Junko commanded, for them to continue the push-ups within the burning forest.

One....
Tw..o ....
Thr..ee....
Fou...r...

Next, they played tag through the flames as a running exercise. "No matter what! Never stop! PUSH YOURSELVES!" Junko shouted as Akane attempted to tag Kunashi, but he quickly dodged.

Looking at them, Junko was glad they were having less complaints about the heat. "Maybe they're actually having fun?"

" That's what I think brother."

"That's good, you've been working them pretty hard Junko."

7cc004a33044f1d83dbcba6fe680f673.jpg

"And it's only the beginning..." Junko said with a fast mixture of hand signs. Using a fire style technique, Junko blew even more flames into the forest, increasing the heat ten fold.

"Are you trying to kill them?" Karin asked furiously before smacking Junko upside the head.

"Don't worry, I'll be entering the game now too!" Junko said rushing in.

"Ugh, don't worry. He knows what's he's doing. And if he don't, he's a medical chief with his brother by his side."

"What!?"

"Yep" Aiko said with a smile.

"He didn't mention his promotion to me."

"He wanted the spot light on the kids and not himself." Aiko said running into the forest with burning Trees that cracked, shattered, and burned to a crisp as the intense shinobi game continued.

Looking at Akanes mother, Karin shook her head.
"If you think your daughter is strong now, just wait until that lovable big headed dummy is done with her." Karin said ending with a smile before she went to go check on the baby.

Time seemed to fly by, their training took place right away. Akane was excited in the beginning, but now she was climbing up a could mountainside, with what seemed to be a blizzard... She was never the physically fit person, even though she was very energetic, she could barely lift herself on top of a roof top! But her will to not disappoint the others was strong, and she struggled to keep up with Kunashi, and the other cats. Junko seemed way to far ahead for her to catch up with him. Akane's training clothing was ripped, and her hands were full of cuts that were numb because of the cold.

"This feels more like... one of those chicken games... Hanging like this ya know?" Akane stated, jokingly more than anything. "I know we can make it!" She then shouted energetically, grinning through her own pain. Akane pushed herself till the very end,This would help her against the cold, though Kumo was not that much warmer than this during winter.
Akane was looking forward to sitting near a nice warm camp fire after this training most definitely.

Time passed on and they were out of the cold and into the heat, well more like fire.
Push ups were easy.... Pushups in blazing heat however, that was harder than it first looked. Akane was sore, and tired, the heat made her feel more so. She Lost count on how many they had done, it all blurred for her what exactly happened. But she didn't want to fail, and there was no way she would fall behind a bunch of boys!
The push ups were the worse of the training in the fire, for Akane at least.

5uz21YjaU-gsATf71CQXWbEtpWqLyPYrtnBDgkaINkg=w500-h281-no

Next was a running exercise, tag, this was Akane's favorite game, which made her forget her tiredness, and soreness. Akane was quick on her feet even though she was sweating up a storm. She ran through the flames, spotting her target, then charging at it, which happened to be Kunashi. He dodged!

Akane had her giant grin plastered on her face while she was running, but soon she saw another source of flame, a jutsu? Whatever it was, it made the heat intensify, it made her feel a bit weaker, but she would not let down just yet.

She spotted Junko and Aiko enter, had they joined the game? That made more of a reason for Akane to push herself further.

Oka had been watching patiently, but her emotions could be easily read by anyone who wasn't a dunce. She was worried greatly about Akane, but she didn't believe she couldn't stop Akane from becoming what she wanted... But training this intense? What if she died? Oka could not push the worrying aside, even in the company of Karin, and her new adopted baby. Oka still had not talked that much over the last few months, here and there, and only when she really had to say something.

Here they were, watching a blazing forest while the children played in it... Training, or a dumb stunt, Oka was worried someone would get badly hurt. But she kept her mouth shut about it, and just watched. She knew Akane could push through, she knew Akane was strong, she thought that as Karin spoke to her. She had mixed feelings though.

"She is strong... I am just worried that I might lose her as well..." Oka explained to Karin, But she trusted Karin's words, Akane would be stronger by the end of this.

Fingertips numb, bicep on fire, face red from windburn, and his core chilled to the bone. This was just the beginning for Kunashi as he clung to the sheer mountainside. With one hand bound behind his back, he worked his way to the summit from the bottom using nothing but his body. No jutsu, no special abilities. These were Junko's stipulations. With his dominant hand clinging to a hold he found in the rocks, he heard Junko-san yell encouragement over the howling winds that berated his ears. Most of it was indistinguishable, as the severity of the wind kept communication to him at a minimum. The only person he could really hear was the one closest to him, Akane. Junko and Aiko were ahead, and Kunashi was somehow leading the pack of stragglers behind the older men. Kunashi was not unaccustomed to physical training, as it comprised a majority of his regiment. However, this was extreme, and Kunashi loved every second. His bandages around his hands were spotted in blood and his sleeve of his jacket was tattered from the jagged rocks. He moved his weak leg up and prodded for a new handhold, trying to avoid loose rocks to save those below him. He swiftly used his new foothold as jumping-off point, releasing his hand from its stable hold in search for a new one, all with a giant grin hidden in his clothing. He winced as his hand found its new hold, pausing briefly to recover. He looked at Akane, with her red hair blowing majestically in the wind. She seemed as enthusiastic as ever, and this drove Kunashi onward. He smiled at her, though she couldn't see it. "Keep up, Red! I don't want to get to the top by myself!" He waited another second or two, breathing in the thin air, as he pushed himself up another step. There was no way he was not going to reach the summit.

---

Six months later, Kunashi found himself in an entirely different scenario. He had went from strength training in the bitter cold and high altitudes to sweating every ounce of water out of his body in a forest that is currently ablaze. Push-ups were child's play after mountain climbing, but the heat added a more complex element. That, and every time they reached about one hundred in the count, Junko decided to restart them. He had given up trying to tell Junko what number they were on. Kunashi knew he was just restarting them to restart them. He just focused on not dehydrating, or falling over from overheating. His arms had begun to quiver at around the three-hundred mark, but by now they were simple strands of pasta holding him up by sheer willpower. This would make him look great shirtless, that's for sure.

---

Same forest afire, different scenario. This is the most intense game of ninja tag Kunashi had ever played. Something about ramping up the skill level of the opponents from children to young teens made this game all the more interesting. He had slowed to a normal run, his lungs burning from the prolonged sprinting. He tried to catch his breath but the hot air was displeasing to his system. All of a sudden Akane appeared from nowhere on his right, arm extended out toward him. Kunashi swiftly dodged away from the hand, and took off in the direction she had just come from. Speed was something very few could match Kunashi on, and his sprint was impressive even for a shinobi. He would likely soon be able to rival the speed of Aiko and possibly Junko. He called out behind him to Akane.
"You'll have to do better than that Red! Slowpoke!" Kunashi poked fun at his peer, but honestly was impressed by her speed. Even with his Seikon advantage, she wasn't too far behind. Maybe this training was actually working..

Suddenly, the heat amplified significantly, and the flames intensified in the forest around him. He had to slow down to acclimate to the heat change, and out of the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of two figures moving among the flames.
'Aiko-sama and Junko? They must be playing now too. This just got more fun..' Kunashi was suddenly reinvigorated by the new challenge, and began to push himself as far as he could, coursing through the flames like fire on gasoline. He jumped through the flames, scorching his clothing, never stopping.

Within the next year, the kids were already beginning to grow. They're strength had more then doubled due to Junkos vigorous body training regimen. It was intense indeed, but the worse had yet to come. The entire group would be strengthened one way or another, but mostly as a whole. Even better, As a family.

w2lsb6.jpg

"Meditation!" Junko announced as he held the baby infant up. He smiled and giggled as Junko played with him. The terrain was quite rocky, and the heat hadn't picked up yet. Looking around, the shinobi would see sharp pointy spikes with dozens of stoned slabs.

"What you've been through was only the beginning. The next task will not only put your mind to the test, but it'll increase your awareness and chakra control." Aiko said smiling as he took a sip of steaming tea.

"For many kids, constantly moving is a must, but you guys aren't your average kids. You're upcoming shinobi. So, you'll learn to be perfectly still while controlling your chakra. Kunashi will be teaching key chakra control at the forehead. Once the rest of you have learned, we'll move on."

256r9tk.jpg

In several days, the students found themselves in an intense meditative state sitting on a stone slab on top of one of the many enormous sharp pointy stone spikes, attempting to be perfectly still as chakra focused at their foreheads visibly. A challenging task that most elite shinobi couldn't accomplish.

Aiko sat perfectly still, looking at the students as they shook. Majority of the time, they fell. Luckily, the white lotus was constantly their to save them. Using their agility and quick reflexes, they caught the children time after time. Akane seemed to have the most trouble, she could barely last a minute while Kunashi and Yoshi lasted two.

Observing Kunashi's chakra, Aiko nodded. "He's truly mastered the chakra control technique. So good that he can teach it as I taught him." Aiko thought as the boy began moving frantically. Falling in anger, Tora caught him in an instant. "But not the meditation yet." Aiko thought chuckling.

"Don't worry! We'll get the hang of..... It.... AAAAHHHH! Help!"

Catching the young lad before he hit the hard ground, Kiba shook his head. They all had a long way to go, but in time, they got it. Through storming rain, soul freezing snow, and blazing heat, the kids learned to meditate perfectly. So good, that they meditated for six months, granting them enlightenment with a new understanding of life and themselves all together.

__________________________________________________________________

After their six months of intense meditation, the kids would find themselves in a night forest, putting their analytical and awareness skills to the test in a game of Hide and seek, while blindfolded. The three students versus the rest.

"Karin! Don't hide by me!" Junko whispered furiously.

"Shhhh, or you'll get us both caught dummy."

"Someone's coming...." Junko said covering Karins mouth. Looking through the bushes, he could only see a single pair of feet.

"GOT YOU!" Yoshi whispered whispered Ending his transformation jutsu as he continued to hold Karin.

"Damn it Yoshi...you.." She said upset as she was tricked.

Kunashi and Akane on the other hand had found the entire white lotus. Two sat tied up, while the other three stood trapped in a rather large camouflaged hole. Meanwhile, the prodigy brothers laid sleep in the warm cabin after eating one of Akanes moms delicious meals. The children would probably spend great time looking for the brothers before realizing they were sleep.

Don't think this was the best of post, but if you have any questions just ask.

Akane had accepted her new nickname "Red" from kunashi. It made her ego grow bigger, and more proud of her crimson hair.
After the training in the cold and flames, a whole year had past, and Akane was thirteen now, but she didn't look that different, other than a few new scar's here and there on her body.

The next set of training had begun. Meditation was now what they would be doing, Akane was not pleased to hear that, seeing as she could not hold still for longer than twenty seconds. This would be vary difficult for her, but she had a strong will to push herself. She couldn't let her weakness get to her.
When Junko said meditation, she thought they'd be sitting around a peaceful mountain.... No they had to balance on top of spikes that was ready to pierce through them.

Akane would not be able to keep from falling withing thirty seconds. She was always being dragged back up by Raiju, she just couldn't give him a break. But many times he would pretend to almost drop her, and many times she would start yelling at him for it. Falling didn't really scare her, but the thought of the spikes puncturing through her chest made her cringe.

Akane looked at Yoshi, as he tried to say motivational words, but ended up falling. "Haha - Wo-Ahhhh!!!!" Akane started to laugh, but it caused her to fall again!

It seemed like forever until Akane could sit still perfectly for longer than a minute, and the time between falls increased greatly from there. Soon enough, she no longer fell, and she was able to enter a deep meditative state. Akane didn't know how much time passed outside, they were meditating for six months!

Six months had passed, Akane had grown mostly in mind, she grew taller, but only an inch or two. The growing pains were strong, but Akane had felt much worse pain before. Light the fiery forest, our the pain from the burning cold. She could deal with little growing pains.

Akane found herself in a dark forest blind folded, playing a game of hide and seak. Kunashi and her made a great team, finding all of the white lotus members, and capturing them. Akane felt her senses for highly greatened, so this was great... But though she had mastered this awareness, her clumsiness
still showed through, as she would either trip, fall out of a tree, or run into a true.

Kunashi and Akane now looked for the two brothers. Meeting up with Yoshi to find them all together. Akane was not sure where they could be, but soon enough they found them asleep in the cabin, while her mom fed them.

Oka had been working on her already good cooking skills to make them great, she also working on sewing skills, as Akane had been coming to her continuously with ripped clothing. During the six months she learned how to make clothing, she knew Akane was growing, and she thought maybe instead of buying new clothing, Oka would slowly be replacing Akane's clothing with better fitting clothing. Oka had also been helping Akane with her musical skills, anytime Akane had a free moment, which was very little. She didn't see Akane for a whole six months, which made her worry very much, but she had Karin, and her baby to keep her company.

Oka was still quiet, but her emotions showed through more, she could speak when she wanted now, but she still prefered to listen over speaking.

During the hide and seek game, Oka had stayed in the Cabin, and was preparing a big meal for when they were all done, Junko, and Aiko had returned shortly, so naturally she fed them. It seemed to take a really long while until the rest returned, discovering they had been looking for the two brothers, Oka couldn't help but find it amusing.

After months of training in the forest, Kunashi found himself significantly stronger. Now utterly in tune with his physique, Kunashi's speed and agility increased two-fold. Training in the fire had helped him build resistance against heat and made his skin calloused. He had grown a few inches in the past year, and had slimmed down to a lean, muscular build. One night, he limped into his shelter and curled up, recovering from the day's training. With the burns still healing on his skin, he awoke to find that Junko's void had shifted. No more trees afire, instead Kunashi found himself in a mountainous area once more. Spires of stone shot straight from the ground and rose hundreds of feet in the air. His first guess was another strength-training exercise from Junko, but was he mistaken.

'Meditation?' Kunashi smiled. This was something he enjoyed doing, so pushing himself in this aspect would help him significantly. It appeared that they were going to meditate while also channeling their chakra, as he had done for Aiko in the past. When told he was to explain the process, he nodded hesitantly and turned to his friends. "Well, channeling chakra is something you all should be familiar with. However, unlike a jutsu, this training does not expend chakra. It manifests the chakra coursing through your body in a visible form, but none should be used. It would look something like this." Kunashi channeled his chakra to his forehead as he had hundreds of times since his first meeting with Aiko-sama. A small, steady, blue flame appeared instantly. It never flickered and it never grew wild. Kunashi had long since learned how to keep his emotions in line and remain focused. "This flame is like.. a window into your psyche. If you grow too frantic, it will grow and become wild. If you become unfocused, it will dwindle in size until it disappears. Think of it as an extension of yourself. If you think of it like a jutsu, you will use the chakra and be unable to keep it steady, because you will use up your chakra. The best way I have found to do this is to focus on the point on your body that you wish for the flame to appear and push your chakra towards it. I started off focusing on my palm because I could see it, and then moving it along my body to my forehead. It worked for me." With his chakra at his forehead, he created two chakra projections as he had done back when he had just begun this exercise. Now was time for the real test: perfect meditation while focusing on the chakra.

He found himself sitting on a stone slab up in the air, meditating. He breathed slowly, trying hard to remain still. Though he was adept at meditation, this exercise was far harder. Remaining perfectly still goes against everything in human nature, and though Kunashi has learned to push past his natural limits, this seemed nearly impossible at first. Especially with his two companions trying to talk during it. Countless times Kunashi had fallen. Some due to distractions from his companions, some due to a stray breeze, and some due to his unfocused mind. However, Tora caught him each and every time, something that Kunashi had found ironic. Of all the members of the White Lotus, Tora, his pseudo-arch-nemesis, was always there to catch him. Every time he had fallen, he thanked Tora and climbed back to the top. Soon enough, the amount of times that Tora was needed began to dwindle. He was able to remain still for lengths of time unimaginable to a normal person, and perservered through a slew of weather. What did he do all this time? He studied himself. He learned about his chakra, and tried to understand himself. One thing that stuck out to him took him a long while to uncover. He began at the center, his chakra coil, and began following it outward as he had done countless times. But, he noticed something. At his core, his chakra was fervent and unbound, as it was with every shinobi. But why was it that once he got into his chakra network it seemed slowed, almost tame? After analyzing the transition for months, Kunashi had found out that there was a sort of limiter, something that was preventing his chakra from flowing freely. This was probably to protect his body from harm, as the unbound chakra would likely damage his network. He began to search for more of these, and found that there were seemingly seven. Other than their existence, Kunashi was unable to uncover much more about these anomalies, though he would research them once he was back in Kumogakure.

---

There he stood, blindfolded and in the dark, skulking through a forest. His task was to find everyone using nothing but his awareness and wit. He focused his chakra, feeling the forest around him. By working with Akane, they had made quick work of the White Lotus. Kunashi tied two of them together, as Akane stood laughing at her victims. They left them to go search for bigger prey: Junko and Aiko-sama. After meeting up with Yoshi somehow and, literally, blindly wandering the forest for hours, Kunashi paused.
"Red, you don't think they are somewhere else, do you? Because I am starting to.." And, of course, after making their way back to the cabin, the trio found the brothers asleep with their stomachs full. Kunashi chuckled audibly. "You guys never play fair."

As another year went by, Kunashi and Aiko found themselves relaxing. Outstretched on the ground, looking into the imitated morning sky within the void. They laughed, talked, and just enjoyed time together. Taking in a deep breath, Aiko exhaled slowly. "Junko surely has a vivid memory. That's probably why he's good at all the medical stuff he does. He deserves his chief title." Aiko said putting his hand through the plush grass they laid in. Putting his hands behind his head, Aiko looked Kunashi in his eyes with a smile. "Let's take a nap. Then hop right into things. As you know, sleep is also a form of meditation." Aiko said. In moments, the scene would change.

Opening his eyes, Kunashi would find himself chained to a wall, underground an unknown facility. The shackles would shake and rattle as he attempted to free himself. In time, he'd realize it was useless. The shackles would be way too strong. His hands were separated, so he hand no hope of using any combination of hand signs. Darkness surrounded the boy with only a single ray of light piercing through the ceiling. Silence covered the room until a peculiar growl was heard.

2dt98wm.jpg

Two huge red eyes could be seen approaching the young Seikon. With each step, the ground shook as a demonic presence grew stronger. Stepping into the small portion of light, a huge demonic purple beast could be seen growling at the genin. It had horns of an ox, a lizard like tail, teeth of a shark, and ferocious tiger like claws. Bloodlust filled the demons heart as it attacked, aiming straight for Kunashi's delicate throat.

"Kunashi... Snap out of it" Aiko said snapping in front of the boy. It had only taken a moment, but he was placed under a genjutsu the moment Aiko looked into his eyes. "That brings us to our next lesson. Genjutsu. Also known as, Illusionary Techniques. These techniques are employed in the same fashion as ninjutsu, requiring chakra and hand seals. However, the primary difference between the two is that the effects of genjutsu are illusory; instead of attacking the victim's body, like taijutsu or ninjutsu, genjutsu techniques manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain, thus causing a disruption in their senses. This is frequently used to create false images or to cause pain from trauma because the body is led to believe it is in pain." Aiko said standing to his feet as Kunashi would quickly regain himself.

"Unlike me, you don't have the Sharingan. So, I'm going to help you develop your own genjutsu method. In the end, it'll probably be even better then my Sharingan in terms of genjutsu. Think you're ready?" Aiko said removing his contact lenses, revealing his eternal mangekyo Sharingan. giving Kunashi a wink, they'd begin when ever he was ready.

"Genjutsu takes very precise chakra control and very high intelligence. Precisely why all that training that you've done will make this a walk in the park for you. So, let's work on the simple things and move up. The goal, is to be able to put an individual under your hypnosis with say.... A flick of the wrist."

In time, Kunashi had began to execute his techniques effortlessly, creating his own combinations of genjutsu with Audial, kinetic, visual, and will in mid battle as the two challenged each other day by day. So good in fact, he began to break certain genjutsus.

Exchanging fist with Kunashi, Aiko starred at his student.
"If it wasn't for my sharingan, I'd probably be done for. He's quite good with this and he's keeping me on my toes. His idea to set his genjutsu through his katana was genius." Aiko thought slashing through Kunashi's illusion with his wooden katana to release the genjutsu. If Kunashi was to attack, he'd realize that Aiko was an illusion as well.

---|Akane|---

"Alright, as an upcoming medical shinobi. Books will be your best friend. Hell, they're still my best friend and I'm making it up in the ranks." Junko said giving Akane several empty notebooks, pens, and highlighters.

Sitting in Daisukes old office, Junko pulled out several books from his backpack. "First Aid, General surgery, and anatomy." Junko said placing the books in front of the young girl. "You'll be learning all three. We will do an overview of each, you'll read up on things while proving your knowledge over the subject(s), and then I'll give you a final examination to prove your mastery over the subject(s)." Junko said putting his hand to his face to cover his eyes. Once again, he had a tingling sensation through his eyes, but this time it was much stronger. "I'm sorry, but my eyes have been messing with me lately. Lack of sleep maybe." Junko thought shaking the feeling off.

"well, let's get things started shall we? I'll tell you and teach you the same way I was taught." Junko said with a brief pause.

Overview: First Aid
"First aid is emergency aid or treatment given to someone injured, suddenly ill, etc., before regular medical services arrive or can be reached. There are three key points for first aid: 1. preserve life, which is self explanatory. Just try to keep the patient live. 2. Prevent further harm, in which you do what you should do whatever is neccessary to ensure that the patient is not exposured to further harm. An example would be moving a patient away from a crash site. 3. Promote recovery: first aid also involves trying to start the recovery process from the illness or injury, and in some cases might involve completing a treatment, such as in the case of applying a plaster to a small wound. First aid training also involves the prevention of initial injury and responder safety, and the treatment phases. Lets start by focusing on the ABC’s of first aid. "

ABC stands for Airway, Breathing, and Circulation. ‘Attention must first be brought to the airway to ensure it is clear. Obstruction (choking) is a life-threatening emergency. Following evaluation of the airway, a first aid attendant would determine adequacy of breathing and provide rescue breathing if necessary. Assessment of circulation is now not usually carried out for patients who are not breathing, with first aiders now trained to go straight to chest compressions (and thus providing artificial circulation) but pulse checks may be done on less serious patients. Unlike my sensei, I won't provide you with notes, but I gave you the proper book. Dissect the information for yourself. "

-CPR-
"Next up is CPR. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure, performed in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person in cardiac arrest. It is indicated in those who are unresponsive with no breathing or abnormal breathing. CPR involves chest compressions at least 5 cm (2 in) deep and at a rate of at least 100 per minute in an effort to create artificial circulation by manually pumping blood through the heart. In addition, the rescuer may provide breaths by either exhaling into the subject's mouth or nose or utilizing a device that pushes air into the subject's lungs. This process of externally providing ventilation is termed artificial respiration. Current recommendations place emphasis on high-quality chest compressions over artificial respiration; a simplified CPR method involving chest compressions only is recommended for untrained rescuers."
he said reading from the textbook. He knew it would be a lot to memorize, but such was the life of a mednin.

"CPR alone is unlikely to restart the heart; its main purpose is to restore partial flow of oxygenated blood to the brain and heart. The objective is to delay tissue death and to extend the brief window of opportunity for a successful resuscitation without permanent brain damage. CPR may succeed in inducing a heart rhythm which may be shockable. CPR is generally continued until the patient has a return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) or is declared dead. When you’re on a mission, or even during an exam, the basics are most important. Perhaps your partner was knocked unconscious and can’t breath. Then it is your job to give him or her that small window of opportunity that could result in the damage or salvation of their brain. Healing jutsu are the same way. Any questions thus far? " , he asked, getting up to get even more snacks. First Aid: 53 subjects

Overview: General Surgery
"General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal contents including esophagus, mach, small bowel, colon, liver, gallbladder and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland (depending on local reference patterns). They also deal with diseases involving the skin, breast, soft tissue, and hernias" Junko said with a pause

"This was probably one of the hardest things for me, due to the extreme sight of blood, but you'll get use to it. Keep in mind, General surgeons may sub-specialize into one or more of different disciplines such as transplants, Trauma, and much more."

"With all that, you have your surgical basics, which will be your guidelines through almost every occasion."

Overview: Anatomy
"Anatomy is the branch of biologyconcerned with the study of the structure of organisms and their parts;[1]with further division into zootomy(animals) and phytotomy(plants).

Human anatomy is one of the basic essential sciences of medicine.[3] The discipline of anatomy is divided into several diverse branches that study the body deeper with each section.

"I've pretty much have anatomy down packed. since we've been here, I've been studying during my free time. Like when I was watching you guys meditate. I caught up on psychology, bloodlines, chakra system studies, and even managed to finish up on general surgery to teach you."
Junko said with a nod. "My suggestion, take this notebook here." Junko said handing her a worn down notebook filled with years worth of information.

"My notebook lists and breaks down pretty much every system within anatomy to high degree. It'll surely help." Junko said with a smirk."

Examination:
In time, Akane would find her self in a cold examination room over several months, with Junko resting on the table. The table dripped of blood as Junko twitched in pain. After purposely getting injured, it was time to put Akanes skills to the test. "Alright Akane, prove your self. Patch me up." Junko said before going unconscious.

Meanwhile, Tora leaned on the back wall to make sure everything went well. If she couldn't handle it, He'd surely step in and save the poor fella.

first aid:
- stab wound to the stomach and heart
- burn on right forearm
- three large slash wounds on the torso

Anatomy:
-Cranium- Has a mass amount of chakra built up towards the eyes.(Mysterious power)
-rib cage-Fractured
-Phalanges-Broken

General surgery:
-A Piece of a blade is about to pierce through Junkos stomach.

Another whole year had passed. How long had it been? Two years now since they started this journey. Akane had been training hard the last two years, she had grown in height but she had yet to actually start looking mature. She was starting to look like a woman instead of just a kid. She had grown out of all her old clothes, and her mother supplied her with some new ones.

It wasn't long until Akane found herself in an old looking office where junko had planned to teach her some medical things. This is what she was was waiting for finally a chance to learn how to save better. She watched Junko as he placed the three books on the desk. She just realised it had been like two years since she actually read something, or out of a book. She listened as he read a little bit out of reach book, and nodded. She had a pretty good memory, but she doubt she could remember everything off hand. It would take a long time till she could remember basics off hand. After each little lesson from junko, akane was left alone to study the subject on her own.
First aid
Akane listened closely to Junko's First aid lesson, using the pen and paper to her advantage and listening closely. She wrote down, "First aid, Emergency treatment, injured, Ill, the rest." That would her her first bit of notes, meant for her only to understand. She had never written her notes in full sentences, and none of her notes would have any grammar what so ever. Akane listened to the next bit, Three key points, Keep them alive, do not hurt them any further, or allow them to get hurt any more, and then promote recovery. Which at first sounded like it would be told as a sells pitch, promoting the recovery, but she understood what he meant, that and he explained it after wards. Get them on the road to recovery.

Then they moved on to something new... ABC's of first aid. She spun her pencil, and wrote them down as Junko stated them. Airway, Breathing, and Circulation. As he spoke, she noted that the first step was to make sure nothing was blocking the airway. She listened carefully while writing up her notes. She wrote down how first aiders were going straight to chest compressions, and pulse checks may be done on less serious patients. She nodded to him, as he would not give her notes, but that was fine, she'd would make her own notes. She looked at the book he mentioned and nodded to it. She would dissect this book for its information.

Surprisingly, Akane was quiet, she hardly spoke when she was focusing.. Well it was more like she really couldn't speak while she was into learning. It seemed they moved to CPR, Akane had heard of it, but never had to perform it on anyone. She wrote down Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). in her notes. Then she wrote; "emergency procedure, preserve brain function." Once again not writing out the full sentence. She noted it was to restore blood circulation, and breathing. She nodded to him as she wrote, glancing up here and there. She noted that CPR involves chest compressions at least 5 cm deep and at a rate of at least 100 per minute. Which sounded kinda weird to her, but she was sure she would have plenty of practice in CPR in the future. Creating manual circulation by pushing on the chest to get the blood flowing. She wrote down that the "rescuer may provide breaths by either exhaling into the subject's mouth or nose, or as known as the kiss of life." She wouldn't state her notes out loud, hopefully Junko wouldn't look at what she has wrote down. Most of it sounded like nonsense in her notes, but it was for only to understand after all.

Akane wrote down "CPR alone is unlikely to restart the heart" in her notes, noting the rest of that sentence in her head. "CPR may succeed in inducing a heart rhythm which may be shockable." That statement made her think of her new found blood line, and how she could probably use the electricity her body generates in order to jump start the heart. She wrote down how CPR was meant to delay the start of necrosis, as Junko said. She wrote down "Till return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) or dead", though she wondered how long it would take until they were declared dead. But she would figure that out in her own time. She had no question for him so far, and thus he left.

Akane spent about two months, or so, on the first aid topic, studying it straight from the book, continuously writing down all kinds of notes, though if one would look she had some doodles in her notes as well. She studied techniques for burns, cuts, illness, and pretty much every think the book listed. She wanted to fill her head with the knowledge, she wanted to know the best practices, and she found all her questions were answered by the book.

General Surgery
After a month or two of learning first aid, Junko had moved on to Surgery. She had probably over one hundred notes on first aid by now, but she got a clean note book for this next bit. She wanted to keep organized after all. She wrote down what General Surgery was, "abdominal contents; esophagus, mach, small bowel, colon, liver, gallbladder and bile ducts, and thyroid gland" Then on another line she wrote down "Also skin, breast, soft tissue, and hernias." She seemed to have a lot of practice writing her notes as they were not as messy looking, but she still liked to write them in broken sentences. She wondered how skin surgery worked, but she planned on finding that out from the book after his lesson was done. She remembered her first patient, that guy had a plant growing inside him, and luckily, she was able to remove it safely and patch him up. Blood Didn't bother her, no, it was more like she liked seeing it. She knew her own blood was the only thing that bothered her, she didn't know what was up with that, but she shook it off.

Junko mentioned it was hard for him, because of the extreme sights of blood, she wondered how she would do during her first surgery. She noted she could sub-specialize into one or more different categories. She noted Transplants, and Trauma, then wondered what she might want to sub specialize into. With that, Junko was done with that lesson, leaving her to study everything else for herself. Akane took the book in her hand and started to read it. The first subject was Acute urinary retention.... She sighed, it seemed odd, and she expected surgery to be of mostly digging into the body. She took her notes though. She noted that AUR only occurred in older males, and rarely in women.... Soon she moved onto the next topic. Allergic reactions to local anesthetics, that was something that would probably benefit her knowledge. She wrote down "They may be administered by topical, infiltrative, nerve block, epidural, or spinal routes." in her notes, then looked back the book. She went back to her notes to write down a few more things. "Two distinct types of allergic reactions", "Allergic contact dermatitis and delayed swelling at the site of administration", and "Urticaria and anaphylaxis".

Akane sighed as she went over a few more subjects, taking at least a day on each one. SOme were shorter than others, making it possible to fit more than one in. She covered; Awareness with recall following general anesthesia Characteristics of antiemetic drugs, General principles of one lung ventilation, Glucocorticoid withdrawal, Infiltration of local anesthetics, Intraoperative fluid management, Major side effects of systemic glucocorticoids, Malignant hyperthermia: Clinical diagnosis and management of acute crisis, Management of acute perioperative pain, Measures to prevent prolonged postoperative ileus, Neuraxial (spinal, epidural) anesthesia in the patient receiving anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication, Overview of anesthesia and anesthetic choices, Overview of complications occurring in the post-anesthesia care unit, Overview of peripheral nerve blocks, and Overview of procedural sedation for gastrointestinal endoscopy within a month. But it seemed she had a lot more to go.

Akane fund herself at the Basic procedures and techniques chapter. Maybe she'll actually learn how to cut into something in this chapter. Well she knew how to cut into something, but it'd be nice to know if there was a right way to do it. She went over topic, after topic in this book. Arterial catheterization techniques for invasive monitoring, Carbon dioxide monitoring (capnography), Closure of minor skin wounds with staples, and Closure of skin wounds with sutures were the first few topics she covered within a week. She found herself becoming more into the Surgery subject, even though most of it seemed boring. But it also did seem more actively involved. She would see once she actually got into someone's body.

Soon enough within two months she was done with the General surgery book. She would have to look to it for later purposes again, because only bits of it she remembered off hand.

Anatomy
Akane ate a few snacks as her next lesson in a new subject began. Anatomy. She had a new clean note book prepared for this next bit, she was ready to learn about the body. She would need to know this if she wanted to perform surgery after all. She got ready to write down her notes, setting aside her snacks to eat at a later time. She picked up her pencil, Junko had already started reading. She wrote down the meaning of anatomy in her choppy sentence style. "Anatomy is the branch of biology concerned, structure of organisms and their parts." Akane listened to Hunko, looking up at him. He had been studying anatomy... Probably with Karin. She nodded to him, he had a note book. She took it as he handed it to her.

"Thank you very much ." She said to him and gave him a smile. She opened up his note book and started reading it.

The first few pages were of the skeletal system. She read one phrase that made her look at the book funny. "Each bone is a complex living organ that is made up of many cells" it made it sound like bones could get up and walk around... Thats just how she read it though. She wrote down in her own notes, as writing down certain things helps her remember when she reread the the Notes. She wrote down "skeleton acts as scaffold, providing support, and protection for soft tissues." She looked back at the note book junko had given her. She then went back to her own notes to write down "New blood cells made by the red bone marrow." Akane flipped the page of the note book to read more. She was now reading about the skull.

Well it also listed neck as well, but akane liked how the skull looked. Freaky, but cool. She started to read what the skull was for.. she already knew it was to hold the brain and other organs though. Too bad there was not a book she could read that had only information she did not already know. She found something note worthy though, "skull consists of 22 cranial and facial bones, which, except of the mandible, are tightly fused together." She copied that sentence down in her notes, nodding to herself. She went on to read the rest of the bones in the skull. Taking notes somewhere on each one. She also took notes on the neck as well, since it was in this section. Akane had to turn a few pages, and soon she was onto the next set of bones. The whole skeletal system took her a week to get though.

She moved onto the nest system, the muscular system. She read the first paragraph explaining the system. The first paragraph really didn't have anything to note down. She found something note worthy in the second paragraph though. She wrote down "700 named muscles", then turned the page. She went over the muscle system, one muscle at a time. She went over the muscles in the head and neck, chest, back, arms, stomach area, legs, and feet. She took a little while on the muscles, about two weeks alone on it. She wanted to take that part a little slow, but also she found herself falling asleep in the middle of reading, and then waking up only to have forgot what she was just reading, so having to have to start that page all over again. That happened at least three times on this section alone.

The cardiovascular system was next up after the muscles. She took her notes and read it all over. She would have to reread this whole thing again at a later point, mostly because she was not going to memorize this at all. She moved on from the 'blood' system onto the next one. She started the the digestive system. She continued on, The endocrine system, The nervous system, The respiratory system, The immune and lymphatic systems, The urinary system, The female reproductive system, The male reproductive system, and The integumentary system. All in that order. It had taken her a few months on all the systems in the body...

All together it had been about seven months of study for akane. During that time, it seemed puberty was taking its course for her, though it was long from over, she looked much more like a woman, a teenage woman more like it. Unfortunately she had a book explain what her body changes were, instead of her mother. It saved Oka from that awkward situation. Her hair seemed a bit longer, her chest bigger, she had more defined curves, and her face over all just seemed more mature. She also seemed a little more insecure about the more noticeable scars she had. She had a large burn scar on her right leg, it covered the side of lower thigh, and knee. She also still had a scar on her right aron from when Yoshi got her with that kunai. She covered her scars to the best she could, she would never admit she was insecure about them.

Akane found herself in a cold examination room. Junko was resting on the table covered in blood, some dripping off the table, and on to the floor. The liquid hitting the ground echoing throughout the room, sounding much like a dripping sink, or a splatter on a tiny scale. It was much like a scene out of a horror story.
"Alright Akane, prove your self. Patch me up."

Akane walked up closer, she was not bothered by the sight of this much blood. She knew Tora was near by to step in if she were to screw this up, but she had no reason to screw up, so she began. She hooked Junko up to an IV, giving him medicine that would slow his bleeding, she'd use the jutsu to, but she couldn't multi task and use that jutsu. She noted the stab wound to the stomach and heart, burn, three large slash wounds. She used her mystical hand jutsu to start the healing process of the wounds she saw, and to use her chakra to sense if there was any foreign objects within his body. Using that mythed, she could tell he had a fractured rib rib, and it didn't take her using her chakra to see that his fingers were broken. She did sense a blade that was about to pierce his stomach. She knew she need to get that out as soon as possible.

After most of his bleeding stopped, she hooked him up to a blood bag, making sure to match the right blood type of course. She stitched up the wounds on his chest quickly to prevent further bleeding. She then took a scalpel, and cut his skin to open the stomach puncture wound further. Meanwhile she was monitoring his breathing, and pulse to make sure he was not dying. After she opened up the wound more, she stuck her hand in, carefully, delicately, and grabbed the blade. She pulled the blade out with cation.

After the blade was safely removed, she stitched up the wound quickly. She applied her Mystical hand to it to heal it a bit. She moved to his head to make sure he did not have any head wounds... She probably should have checked there first, but luckily she didn't see any visible head wounds. She lifted up his eyelids to peek at his eyes, and test there reaction to light. His pupils reacted accordingly to the light, but his eyes seemed to have redness, and what seemed to be faded markings... She wasn't sure what that was, or what she could do about it. She also sensed a large amount of chakra build up behind his forehead. But that could be just something he is working on, storing chakra?

Akane moved to his fingers. She popped each bone back into place, and splinted each one. As for his fractured rib, it'd have to just deal with not getting a splint. She took the medicine that helped slow the bleeding off, and hooked up antibiotics in its place. She then started using her Mystical hands to heal his wounds further. He was now in a stable state, and he would probably have frankenstein scars, because Akane was not well practiced in stitching. She bandaged him up, and gave Tora a thumbs up with her blood covered hands. "He'll live this time. She stated with a large grin.

The breeze was calming to the young man. He had been through quite a bit since he had left Kumogakure, and laying in the morning sun on dew-speckled grass was the best way he could think to relax. Hell, Junko even made his go-to relxation method, meditation, into an exercise. Aiko was always a little more easy-going than the high-strung Junko, making Kunashi feel like he chose the right brother as his sensei. They laid there for a while, simply talking. Kunashi was glad that the two of them got to spend some time together. The two of them hadn't done this for a while, product of Kunashi's new-ish promotion to genin. After a slight silence, he heard his sensei sigh deeply and comment on Junko's memory. Though he hadn't thought about it before now, this whole place they had been in for years was all recalled from Junko's mind, meaning he had to have seen all of this at least once before. "Wow.. You're right. That is impressive." Kunashi stretched his long legs out through the grass. He had grown quite a bit since the inception of this excursion, now nearly a foot taller and much more lean. The boy had turned into an athletic young man, his muscle mass developed nicely due to Junko's rigorous training. He looked over to his sensei, making eye contact, and then taking him up suggestion. He had learned to cope with rigorous training by now, and even embrace it, but sleep was always welcome. He closed his eyes and drifted to sleep, the cool breeze keeping him nice and cool for his slumber.

"What the hell? Aiko-sama?" When Kunashi awoke, everything was different. He found himself on his knees, hands suspended above him. He tried to bring them to his side, but they were restrained. He looked up to see metal manacles holding him to the wall. Everything was dark, save for one tiny spotlight in the middle of the chamber. He looked around trying to discern anything in the blackened room when he felt the tremor. His eyes fixated on two red orbs floating high in the sky. The tremors were rhythmical, and with them they eyes grew bigger and swayed back and forth. A feeling of dread swept over Kunashi, something he hadn't felt in quite some time. This behemoth was a terror like he had never seen before, with it's rows of razored teeth and giant horns. It was lurching closer and closer with each step. Kunashi's fight or flight response had been triggered long before but his restraints kept him in place, unable to do anything but meet his doom. As the beast attacked, Kunashi's eyes closed and he pulled his head away, trying his best to dodge though he knew it was futile. His life was over.

And then he heard a snap, the sound pervading the cavernous room and tearing apart the illusion from the seems. In the place of the bloodthirsty demon stood Aiko-sama, crouching in front of him in the same field that the pair was in earlier. Kunashi's breathing was accelerated and heart was racing, as he spent the time Aiko was talking trying to regain his composure. He already knew what Genjutsu was but was too much in shock to even acknowledge that Aiko-sama was talking. Recovering to only catch the tail end of his speech, it seemed the pair would be working on Genjutsu, one of Kunashi's weakest points.

---

Over the course of time, Kunashi had become more and more adept at the illusory arts of genjutsu. He had been able to cast them with the flick of the wrist, a simple point, and even through eye contact, though not as flawlessly as Aiko-sama can with his Sharingan. Where he lacked, however, was combat. During their spars in the beginning, he never could seem to land a genjutsu on Aiko-sama. He always seemed to know what to avoid in terms of Kunashi's casting methods. The wrist flicks and points would be caught by the Sharingan, and eye contact was avoided by Kunashi due to his opponent's affinity for it. His opponent never looked at his face during the fight, opting for more peripheral parts of the body, and sometimes even his weapon. The problem of how to catch a genjutsu master in a genjutsu was a tough one, and had stumped Kunashi for some time, and the solution came to him late one night under the stars. He was laying down for bed as his katana, Ten no Kagami, had slid from it's sheath, far enough to catch the light from the moon on it's blade. Kunashi looked at it, the reflection catching him in the eye. The refraction of light was not normal from this blade, as it produced swirls and curved light instead of beams like normal blades. Simply looking at the reflection was disorienting enough for most people. This would be his solution. The next day, Kunashi met Aiko-sama for their next round of sparring, this time with Ten no Kagami slung to his side. Time to see if his plan would work. Kunashi started by casting a genjutsu with a hand motion, which was avoided expertly as always. He then pointed at his sensei with his left hand, feigning a genjutsu. He then drew his sword slightly, enough for the light to catch it and bounce toward his sensei. Amplifying his chakra through his blade, the light refracted to a greater degree as the genjutsu was channeled through the beams. As it caught the man in the eye, Kunashi smiled. It seemed he had found his solution. The master had been successfully put into his genjutsu.

Over time, Kunashi developed new ways to use his sword as a catalyst. He could make physical contact with the sword to inflict a kinetic-style genjutsu, use the sounds of the sword sheathing and unsheathing or striking an object to cast audial genjutsu, and a combination of the sound and light waves to even cast will-based genjutsu. He had found a way to use his strength in Taijutsu to assist his weaker Genjutsu abilities, and it was a method only he could use. He used the time to perfect his art, calling the style "Shinsei Giman." Countless spars would hone his technique, and he would eventually be on par with even Aiko-sama, the wielder of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, and be able to break more difficult genjutsu based solely on training.

At the end of this stent of time, Kunashi was able to string together complex jutsu with strikes from his sword, using sound waves, contact, and light to ensnare his sensei. Exchanging blows during another fight, he was able to recognize illusions he would have been caught in before, slicing through Aiko-sama to prove it. He was much more ready then before.

As another year went by, everyone had grown. Kunashi was growing into a bright young spirited teen with a whole new look, Akane had developed and grown in beauty, and Yoshi managed to mature and see Akane in a different way. Lastly, the baby had grown as well and became quite energetic. He was high in spirit, and loved to giggle. He showed the guts of a fighter, but would need more time to develope. Standing in front of a log cabin on a star lit night, Junko spoke to the students. His voice shook a bit as he spoke in pain. His eyes were only getting worse.

"Your next task is..."

"Excuse me.." Karin said interrupting as she walked to Junko.

raising a brow, Junko waited until Karin was close enough. Strangely, she had a smile on her face.

"Junko, give them a break. All you've been doing is train train train.. It's time for a break. Are you trying to kill them?" Karin said grabbing Junko by the ear and Pulling him down to her level of height.

"Ahh! Okay OKAY! Perhaps a break is needed." Junko said before Karin let go. Rubbing his ear in pain, Junko looked at Yoshi who was apparently laughing. "Something funny twerp?"

"Oh No! Not at all!" Yoshi said nudging Kunashi a bit.

Grunting, Junko shook his head. "She's right." Junko said as his frown turned into a delightful smile. "Time for a break and live a little." With those words, Karin walked away in a dominant manner. Observing Junko, even he increased in muscle mass. A closer examination would reveal the faded pattern in his eye had become much thicker. Everyone was changing before his very own painful eyes.

Bonding by the day, the group decided to take on a camping scene. Each day, joy enlightened their hearts as a whole through various activities.

-Telling Stories-
2u6p5y8.jpg

Sitting around a blazing camp fire, Karin cuddled under Junko. Their souls connected as everyone had a story to tell. Laughter, screems, and chatter filled the night sky with various stories. Even some of the felines told embarrassing stories involving their adventures with Junko.

As Tigers, Junko pounced on Raiju and the rest of the white lotus. Tussling, tossing, and turning, they wrestled in joy. "I gotcha!" Junko said putting Raiju in a choke hold. "Give up yet?" Junko said switching from a choke hold to a nice noogie.

Meanwhile, the family roasted plenty of food. The mouth watering aroma made Aikos heart skip a beat. Apparently, Akanes mom was some sort of food God. She didn't need a kitchen. She just needed fire. Every piece of food she put to the fire came out perfect. "Mind roasting mine for me?" Junko and several others asked holding out their sticks.

-Swimming-

The waterfall seemed to enhance the females beautiful skin or something as Most of the males jaws drooped in shock. Enjoying the great time with the ladies, they splashed, dived, and occasionally wrestled.

Astonishingly, their girl power was enormous as Akane Dunked Junko and Yoshi underwater. If Kunashi wasn't careful, he'd surely be next. Meanwhile, the white lotus simply sat and watched. Unfortunately for them, Junko ensured the pussy cats got wet at least once. Executing an earth style jutsu, A huge golem formed with clunks of rocks and grabbed the big scaredy cats. "Irs Just a little water!" Junko said as the golem dunked them in.

-Fishing-
2mgo6xw.jpg

The sun was setting as many laid enjoying the sky. Relaxing, sleeping, and fishing. Kazuko(the baby) laid with the felines. Tuckered out from playing all day. The boy was truly something else to handle. Gladly, the boy didn't scare away too many fish.

Holding out their polls, Aiko and Kunashi waited for a courageous fish that would dare attack their bait. Unfortunately, they seemed to wait forever. Despite waiting forever, the two didn't mind. They simply enjoyed the relaxation. "Come to think of it. I don't think I remember any fish in here." Junko said scratching his head. Simultaneously, Aiko pushed him in the empty lake.
Shaking his head as the group laughed, Kunashi rilled Junko in.

"Looks like someone caught a fish today."
