It had been a long day for Teke, finally having rested after a week of lounging around she'd made a point to visit the academy. This was mainly to sort out the types of paperwork most normal people wouldn't even think about but when a person has been missing or presumed dead for four years there tends to be a lot of questions. Six hours the blonde had endured in that tiny cramped office, sign this, explain that, she was glad she never had the desire to be the office working kind. Now after a long, stressful day of being all cooped up in a box-like room, what would people tend to do? That's right! Go and drink their anguish away and Teke intended to do just that.
Everything was going great, perfect in fact, she'd found a nice looking place, plonked herself down at the bar and ordered a bottle of cheap red wine. The drinks in the casino had been nice but it all felt rather bougie, totally not her style and she wanted to drink something that made everything from her mouth to her stomach burn a little and she'd managed just that, drinking straight from the bottle like some sort of lush.
Then in walked one of the people she hadn't planned on seeing, not just yet anyway. She hadn't quite processed in her own head what she would or could even say to the people who probably worried about her sudden disappearance and was planning out a whole speech, eventually. Quickly, almost on reflex, she performed a transformation jutsu on herself to try and stay hidden, with how hastily she did it, it didn't alter all too much, changing her hair to a bright blue, her eyes to emerald green, and giving her a false left arm to cover the lack on one she currently has. This seemed to work as Kaen went about his day, getting ever more boisterous as time and alcohol enveloped him.
Teke stuck around out of morbid curiosity more than anything, watching her old teacher lord around the establishment joyfully, a side she'd not previously seen of him back then, but again, time changes people a lot, herself included. At least now that he was drunk, her paper-thin disguise might actually fool him long enough, well, if she kept her mouth shut of course...
"Aye! Free drinks! You heard the man!" She cheered, her inebriation getting the better of her.
"Another bottle of red!"
She announced to the barkeep as she lifted her first bottle up and guzzled down the last quarter of the bottle with a loud gasp of air at the end. She slammed down the bottle and grinned over at the bearded red head.
"Where was all this generosity back in the day, huh?!" She teased.
"We coulda gone drinkin' a bunch!"
Teke hadn't even noticed what she was saying as she wobbled back and forth on the bar stool, grabbing the fresh bottle as it was placed before her with a nod, taking another big swig. This was going to get noisy, and messy. Maybe Kaen was drunk enough not to connect any dots, but this strange girl was being awfully familiar with him, maybe it was the offer of free booze?
