Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Darkness fell... and all the lights would fall... Baba couldnt contain himself much longer as the bone would begin to launch itself out more and more. Shadowy tendrils would begin to shoot up from his skin and bit by bloody bit he would begin to change. The ghoul had come to play... and with every passing moment Kiri would attempt to prolong the inevitable. The crazy thing about inevitability, was that you could not change the certainty of it. It was unwavering. It was truth. Just as true as the grave was for mortals. Just as true as the sun would come out tomorrow. Just as true as Baba's victory on this day... but today he would not be Baba. He was... The monster he held deep... so deep he didnt even let Akumi his best friend see this form...

Long, thin, boney arms and hands seemed to lay at his sides, and horns of crimson stood as they were like a crown upon his head. As the Clones would disperse and the Dragon would crumble... The only thing that remained was... The Boogey Man. The monster... the myth. The beast that he never thought he let himself become... but now he was lost in his own mind. Trying to find a reprieve, trying to see an ounce of the light that was once there. Baba was nothing more than a slave to his own demons... they had led him to hate his home. To leave everything behind and put his best friend in danger... They led him to do unspeakable things. They led him to be something he would not know he could become. The Beast of Bone and Threads.

"...Kill..."

Almost as if growling over the downed body of this fallen boy... reaching with an outstretched limb, he would snatch the boy from his spot. No demon within could save him from his fate. No one around to see this boy's final moments. Opposite hand would reach up... and rear its snake bite back. Ready to take this boy's life... Ready to vanquish this foe... Never to raise a hand up against him ever again...

"...Kill..."

Finally... spreading its limb out and tendrils seemingly aimed right for the heart... Ready to rip it out... and with this small second he would finally jab it forward the squelching sounds of flesh being penetrated would be heard... only to fall to a wooshing noise... the noise that was made with basic medical ninjutsu. Looking back, the limb was now a hand... Skin graphed unto it like a human's...

"...I...Will...not...succuumb... to... The beast my mother made me..."

Gasping for air... his body would slowly return to normal. Internal turmoils aside... this was his first step to reclaiming the Baba he knew he was. The Baba he wanted to be was better than this... He would not kill unless it was to protect... for now. Somewhere along the line he lost who he'd become. He lost the boy that was forced into immortality, that just wished to play with friends. So, for moments after... he would heal the wounds of Kiri... only to leave a note. 'I'm sorry' was all it stated... and into the night Baba would leave towards the top of the mountain, maybe he would get some insight as to what brought him here... and maybe he could spread the story of the corruption within his village... the corruption that he would look to stop.

In the darkness, once more, Kiri felt a little lost. It was but long until he found the voice of his brother's soul. He apologized for losing and probably for dying too. Or was only then when he learned that he didn't. So he opened his eyes with a gasp and found the night sky up above. He blinked a few times, correcting his vision until finally felt the few sore spots of his body.

He cringed at the resonating pain but it wasn't at all that bad. And when he reached his hand for his chest, he felt a slight warmth. If felt like a chakra source had been poured there and it was soothing. For a bit longer, he remained still until he finally got up to a sit. And to his surprise, lying next to him, placed on his happi with a small stone as a paperweight, was a note. The message was simple but he smiled.

For once, Kiri understood the man who turned into a monster and was deliberately inching to kill him not too long ago. Somehow, he could almost sympathize. With enough energy, Kiri would please a jutsu on himself, the healing warmth resonating in his body once more. Then he would return to the nearby town to truly rest

Perhaps he would meet that man again.
