Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

“You're a liar and a flatterer man. I don't have enough in the tanks yet to be holding stuff back and I bet you're good enough to know that,”

The smaller one tried to nudge him with an elbow, the height difference made it look kind of awkward but Sora did not mind, his interactions with others had been of training, lecturing or fighting.. this was a welcome change.

“Wouldn't be admitting it if I didn't think you already knew, I like to think I run this place y'know?”

Sora Smiled and continued forward as the smaller Kaito followed suit. he knew grandeur, only as the one beating it down, but this one knew his limits, at least he was no fool, Sora liked that.

“And you only just got here, it's a big old world when we get out for under this rock… Hey, maybe you can tell me about it some day? Any sort of edge is better than a blunt blade and all that. Think I read that somewhere, library's a great place; they never look under the lower shelves for students out of class.”

"You speak wisdom, even though you don't seem to fully understand its worth, and you cloud it with jokes, Skipping only let yourself fall further behind... Look at me, do you think I have ever skipped a lesson?"

Sora motioned his hand in a questioning manner, revealing the insides of his hands, places that at hardworking individuals were covered in calluses and hard skin. Sora's hands had that, but they were all patterned with lines and scars, evident of never ending training, and never ending lessons of getting hurt. usually scars inside the hands withered away fast, but his was still there, and everywhere at that. there were no accusation in his voice, or motion, it was a genuine question, Sora had not yet had the experience required to feel 'better' than others.

“Hey! You been to the Grand Palais yet? Best booze and dancing in Suna! Any kind of dancing too, y'know?” He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively at Sora “If neither of us know our class anyway, I highly recommend we grab your paperwork and finish it while we take a little tour, I bet we'd hardly even spill anything on it, whaddaya say?

"haha, I will have to make a check on that one, I know I have class somewhere now, I just have to find it first, something about chakra stuff.... affinity or something like it. and the taste of booze I still have not had the pleasure of experiencing, as I believe it clouds one's judgement and hampers the feeling with your innate strength, something that I would prefer not happened as no door, doorframe and most walls would survive me lacking in restraint" Sora said as he VERY gently opened the door for Kaito to walk past him inside. Sora had to be careful not to destroy the building by itself as it was build for smaller people and by that also smaller in passive strength. Sora had learned that Small people could bring out as much strength as he himself could, but they retracted to a lower passive strength than he, witch made navigating small corridors and handling thin and tiny doors a hurdle in itself. once in a while he miscalculated and either broke the door or the handle... or both.. although that had been some time ago since last time he did both.

“Nope, don't think so big guy. But you know there's a difference between skipping lessons and skipping class; those old Red Lights have taught me well enough for me so far..” Kaito turned up his own palms, showing off his own deep sword calluses on either hand. “I might be behind you for now, but trust me, I'm no going to wait around here for long!” he declared confidently.

"haha, I will have to make a check on that one, I know I have class somewhere now, I just have to find it first, something about chakra stuff.... affinity or something like it. and the taste of booze I still have not had the pleasure of experiencing, as I believe it clouds one's judgement and hampers the feeling with your innate strength, something that I would prefer not happened as no door, doorframe and most walls would survive me lacking in restraint"

“Ah, fair enough; sounds like it might be one of the more useful ones going today, wonder whose teaching it... Guess I'll take a mission or something then instead; nothing tastes better than a jaunt through the Grand Palais in the service of the Kazekage, it's not all fun and games down there after all.” Kaito's voice shifted slightly as he spoke of missions and the Kazekage, taking on the most serious, even respectful tone he had used since the two boys met. Briefly his face set in a calculating look, the sort of look most commonly seen in chess tournaments or high stakes poker games, a distinct weighing up of odds. “There's way too many scum who think they can hide themselves from our reach; they're not worth the graduates time, better to have guys like us clean up, right buddy?” He seemed to consciously shake off his mood with a full body shudder, then winked at the big man.

Stopping in the academy lobby, he threw his hand out towards the other student “See you soon man, and don't give up on the booze yet; I bet we can kind somewhere busted up enough that they won't even care if you bring the roof down, and it'll be really obvious if you've gotta wait in a tavern for a target and you aren't drinking. Gotta get used to it while we're not in the field man!” He half-chuckled as he presented the paper thin justification.

Kaito Showed the marks of the hardworking as proof that he did not slack, yes in class but certainly not as he stated in lessons. his way of learning was definitely different than Sora's but he had all his spirit into it, and some in liquid form as well as it would seem.
Sora enjoyed the smalltalk and and they eventually reached the academy lobby,

"See you soon man, and don't give up on the booze yet; I bet we can kind somewhere busted up enough that they won't even care if you bring the roof down, and it'll be really obvious if you've gotta wait in a tavern for a target and you aren't drinking. Gotta get used to it while we're not in the field man!”

"At some point maybe, but as I have understood alcohol is a toxin, and you can train to neutralize toxins with chakra. but I am not sure of this. " sora answered.
"It is good to know a person like you, I hope to see you again at some point in the near future." sora reached for a handshake with Kaito
and went to walk down the hallway to find this class on chakra affinity. if he now just understood this illogical alphanumeric code that substituted for clear and understandable guidelines. 'Classroom AXX1143... hmmm'
He went down the left hallway hoping that was the right one.
