Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Name: Aburame Kiriyomi

Age: 18

Physical Description: A messy shock of brown hair sits atop this young boy's head, dropping down to cover green eyes that are often unfocused. A small scar crosses the bridge of his nose, and his mouth is often set into a thin concentrated line as though he were deep in thought. Dirt can often be found smudged onto his rounded cheeks, smeared from trying to wipe it away constantly. Having spent much of his childhood outdoors playing in the forest, his skin is a light tan and can often be found with various scrapes from thorns and branches whipping his arms and legs. Kiriyomi is rather lanky, standing at 4'6" and weighing around 70 lbs. Despite his lazy appearance, Kiriyomi is a very dedicated student and friend.

Mental Description: Kiriyomi often has his head in the clouds, daydreaming about his future and how he's going to achieve great things. He is often reserved when first meeting new people, but opens up and becomes more vibrant and talkative when he gets to know people better. Oftentimes, Kiriyomi is slow to act, preferring first to examine all angles of a problem and seek out the solution that has the best chance of success. He is very protective of all living things, having been brought up to respect nature and all of her inhabitants. Although he seems like a withdrawn and brooding individual, Kiriyomi is actually very kind and seeks to befriend anyone that will take the time to talk to him. Being an only child, he has difficulty starting conversations with other children his own age, but once the dialogue has started, he is an active participant.

Appearance: Hitomi is a rather unremarkable turtle, as far as size goes. She is just slightly larger than a normal tortoise, comparable to a medium sized dog. What does stand out about her, however, is all of the scars crisscrossing her shell. The shell in question is a grayish blue in color, the same as the small mask that envelops the top half of her face. Also along the back of her shell are six indentations, the purpose of which are to release chakra so that she is able to use various jutsu. The rest of her body is a lighter shade of blue, free of the scars that mar her shell. She is often mistaken for being blind, as her eyes are white with the barest hint of a pupil, though her eyes hold a wisdom that has been gained over many years. Her left eye bears a scar, slashing from the outside of her head and down towards her beak.

Personality: Hitomi is an old soul, and it shows in her personality. She is slow to anger and quick to forgive; she believes that all mistakes are a learning opportunity and seeks to educate those around her. She is very fond of humans, finding them to be a blank canvas that can be painted in many different hues. Hitomi enjoys offering her wisdom and aid to any shinobi who seek her out, and has often been visited by the youth of Konoha for advice. She is quick witted and even quicker to laugh, as she finds that the smallest moments in life are the ones that you should cherish most. She enjoys the simple things that life has to offer: watching the leaves turn brown, swimming in her grotto on a hot summer day, and taking down anyone that would dare to harm nature, her home, or anyone that she considers family.

History:
Hitomi is well known around Konoha as a font of knowledge and wisdom, but she didn't start out that way. Actually, Hitomi was born smaller than all of her siblings and they teased her relentlessly for this. As a result, she was often found sneaking away to the human realm to spy on the shinobi that lived among the forest. They lived such a short amount of time, and yet, they lived life to the fullest. Every day was full of adventure, romance, and joy. She wished that she could find these things at home. Instead, she was often beaten up by her siblings and other tortoises and made fun of for her small shell. As a result, she bears many scars; both physically and emotionally.

One day, when she was visiting the human realm, she was attacked by a bear. The claws narrowly missed her throat, instead carving a slash down the left side of Hitomi's face and leaving behind a scar. She was rescued by a kunoichi from Konoha, who introduced themselves as a part of the Senju bloodline. Hitomi felt a fondness for this woman, who went out of her way to save an animal that she hadn't any connection to. As a result, she swiftly became a friend of the village and was often visited for advice. As time went on, the Senju line came and went. Various shinobi and kunoichi kept up the tradition of visiting her, bringing small gifts such as fruit and stories. Her favorite tales were ones of heroism, such as rescuing a small child from a burning building by using water jutsu to create a path to get out of the flames.

One of the Senju in recent memory stood out the most. Senju Itsuki was the most recent of the clan to come and visit Hitomi, often for nothing more than her company. He was a very kind and thoughtful soul, one that she quickly grew fond of. He would come and sit amongst her grotto, regaling her with tales of his missions and conquests. Her favorite story was of how he had found his wife, and they had a child together. She was most fond of the little humans, as they were so soft and innocent. As the years flew by, she watched as Itsuki grew older and his visits became less and less frequent. Still, she would visit her grotto often and wait for the man to show. One day, he told her of a child. Not of his blood, but one that needed her assistance all the same. He asked her to return in a weeks time to meet the boy. At the end of that week, she sat in her grotto, eagerly awaiting their arrival. Not knowing that the child coming her way had many scars of his own, reflecting those that she bears so proudly.

Shell Guard - Turtle Contract Passive
The shell of a turtle is synonymous with protection, and for good reason. There isn't much in the natural world that is tougher than the protective plating of a strong turtle.

Effect:
-User has +10% damage reduction against all non-Illusionary damage.
-The user ignores the first two ranks of bleeding, and does not take damage from them.
Shell Smash - Turtle Contract Independent Special Move
Though their shells may be tough, turtles are not exactly the fastest beings. Turtles of the contract realm, however, can temporarily alter this, briefly forgoing the protection of their shells in order to drastically increase their offensive prowess.

Effect: For 1.5 AP, the user may sacrifice the effects of Shell Guard in order to gain +15% damage and +3 accuracy to any one jutsu subtype of the user's choice. This effect lasts for one full round.
Tidal Wall - Turtle Contract Senjutsu
A rock is a barrier is a wall, and a turtle is an impressive wall indeed. The protection a turtle offers extends not only to itself, but can be used to shield its allies when it so desires. Contract turtles even bring with them a protective aura that can help restore their friends.

Effect: Creates a Barrier that has 4,500 HP and DR against Damage for up to three targets. Those within the barrier are healed of three physical debuffs of their choice.

Cost: 2.5 AP, 2750 Cp, 1380 CP/Rnd

Note:
- Jutsu subtype is chosen when the contract creature is designed; damage buffs that apply to the contract subtype increase damage blocked.
- The Senjutsu subtype chosen designates the type of damage the barrier gains DR against, Ninjutsu = Elemental, Taijutsu = Physical, Genjutsu = Illusionary.
- Physical debuffs include things like Bleed Level and Called Shot levels. Each Called Shot/Bleed level healed counts as a separate debuff healed.
- Debuffs healed must be chosen while the barrier is still active, or they will be selected randomly when the barrier ends.
