Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

”Ah so much better!” Takehiko stretched as he finally put the gate completely behind him and found himself in the middle of nowhere. ”It gets so annoying being the idiot all the time... I do have to admit it is quite fun” He added and let out a hearty chuckle. It really was so much more peaceful out here. Nobody to bother you, nobody to bump into you, nobody to have to pretend in front of. Maybe having to go out and do this ''mission'' wasn't really such a bad idea. A prolonged sigh escaped his lips and a grin soon replaced it.

'What did I have to do again....' The man thought and took out the letter once more, carefully reading it and actually paying attention to what he was reading this time -
You need to travel to the spine of the world and find a flower that grows at the very peak. It is called leontopodium alpinium and is white, but it is fairly hard to find. Upon finding the flower return as fast as possible as a matter of urgency. Good Luck! P.S You can't use chakra near it or it will die.
Well it could be worse right? At least it wasn't go buy eggs and milk for grandma, because that would be quite sad, quite sad indeed. Sadly why did that actually sound like a mission someone somewhere had to do at some point.... A cold shiver ran up his spine at the thought of it. That would by far be one of the worst he had ever heard of, absolutely worst.

Guess there really wasn't much to complain about after all. Ah well it was a fairly simple task and the pay wasn't bad really. If he was actually careful he could probably go through the month with it, though it really was quite strange they paid this much for a single flower. Was it really that had to find after all? Well he was going to find out soon enough, wasn't he? Then again it would have been quite handy if they had actually told him what it looked like. Though if it grew at the top of the mountain there probably wasn't going to be any others up there, considering how harsh a place it was.

The journey was tedious more than anything else really. It was unusually quiet though. Throughout the few hours it had taken to reach the bottom of the Thunder Mountains there had been absolutely nobody else. Sure he had left really early in the morning, but it was quite strange. Not that it mattered really, but hey it was something to note. The bigger problem had just come up though – how the hell was he actually going to get up that mountain? To many this might appear to be a rather simple task as he just had to use chakra to stick to the wall, but over a prolonged period of time that wouldn't really work and Takehiko wasn't exactly known for having a lot of chakra overall. Then again if that flower was somehow nearby it would just die and he'd have to look for another.

The only option here was to start out the old-fashioned way and scale up as much as he could. Once he started getting tired then it would be the time to rely on his chakra to get up to the top and again this wasn't going to be easy at all. He let out a slight sigh and took out a dagger from his coat, tightly gripping it in his left hand. It would be quite easy at the start as he could just walk up, but about halfway through the mountain-face was a sheer drop and that meant he couldn't really avoid having to scale it, but hey money is money. He needed it and this was about the best-paying job he found.

The first part of the trek was nothing to really talk about – a few wild animals here and there, a bit of a falling rock and the weather was getting progressively worse with every passing minute. All in all nothing really serious, but those black clouds above were starting to look at least a little bit scary. This was the Thunder Mountains, so a storm or fifty was nothing really uncommon, but this one looked rather bad. He had to hurry up.

Takehiko sighed as he stabbed his dagger into a crack in the cliff face and gripped onto another. This was the start of the hard part now and it was a lot more tedious with that storm quickly approaching. Crack after crack. Bump after ledge the climb continued and the top seemed close and closer than ever before. Was it pure luck or just a happy coincidence there just above him stood a small white flower. Whether that was the one he was looking for or not he didn't really know. It was just within his grasp now.

BANG

The lightning bolt hit the ledge just above him and made him lose his grip, sending him plummeting down into the nothingness. This was probably a really bad situation to be in right now. The worst part of it was the he couldn't really do nothing, or could he? Takehiko quickly reached to his back and took out his scythe from the strap that held it in place. He swung at the cliff face and luckily managed to hit, bringing his descent to a sudden halt, but not without some issues. A loud crack resonated through the surroundings and the pain shot up his shoulder. The sheer force of the fall had dislocated it and soon it was clear it was for pretty much for nothing. He lost the hold of his weapon and soon both he and it were falling to the ground once more

Pain shot through his body as he jumped up on his feet. How long he had been out for was completely unknown, but one thing was for sure – he was beyond lucky to actually be alive, considering his scythe had fallen blade first right next to him, burying itself halfway into the soil. Takehiko looked up and noticed all the broken branches in the trees above. He really had had an amazing lucky break, but where the hell was he now?

The AiT sat up and took a quick look around. It seemed like he had landed pretty much where he had started climbing. Wait what was that flower and where was that icebox he had with him? His eyes frantically started scanning everything around him and there they were – the box stuck in the tree above and the flower just to his side. That was over and done with, but those bruises weren't going to go away anytime soon that was for sure. Oh well food was waiting!
