Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Mental Description
Kyo-Moon cannot be seen as a very compassionate man, having grown numb to the horrors of the world. Grown numb from the horrors inflicted upon himself and the ones he love to those horrors inflicted to complete strangers. All of it seemed quite surreal for a time until he eventually stopped caring altogether. A person's life holds no value to Kyo-Moon, not rushing to save another person's life nor expecting them to save his. The only person he cares about is his companion "Dakota" his wolf. [lb2][/lb2]

Kyo-Moon holds no loyalty to the village that he was born in; Kumogakure and he holds no regard to any of the citizens, supervision, nor for the Raikage themselves. If the Raikage was being murdered right before his eyes, he would simply watch. He wouldn't participate but he would most certainly allow it to happen. [lb2][/lb2]

That is, until one has gained Kyo's respect. Once a person has gained Kyo's respect, they have a friend for life (or until they cross him). He will go out of his way to help those who have gained his respect even if it means condemning innocent people that he has absolutely no interest for. Currently, nobody has gained Kyo-Moon's respect other than his companion "Dakota".​

The Ambushing Hunter
[fontsize="12"]Due to an enchantment from a Dragon Statue, residing within his birth parents' home, Kyo had gained unexplained powers. The demon residing in the statue, in exchange for watching Kyo eat victims before it, granted Kyo the ability to take the powers of those that he consumes. Having already had an affinity for the wild, Kyo was able to consume a would-be assassin and gain her ability to blend in with the night and learn her trickery by consuming her brain and learned the muscle-memory required by consuming her flesh. Utilizing this new-found power, Kyo is now fully capable of utilizing stealth as a means of silently killing his opponents without people knowing where he is, nor where he was previously. While stalking in the shadows was something he found cowardice, at first, the style grew on him as he used it to kill and infiltrate places in a MUCH more efficient manner.[/fontsize]

Perhaps the most distinguishable aspect of the Inuzuka clan is the fact that they seem to have an unbreakable bond with a companion that is far more than your average pet. Their companion is is bonded so close to the Inuzuka, and the Inuzuka to it that the two could be said to be two halves of a whole, or even share a soul. Whichever the case, the Inuzuka and their pet are inseparable, and can perfectly understand and communicate with each other even through the most complex words/barks, to the simplest body gestures..

Rank 1: The user gains a pet! This pet has Hp equal to 30% of the Inuzuka's Max Hp. Pet's base damage is 75% of the user's, and has -5 of the User's Secondaries.
Rank 2: The Inuzuka's pet becomes stronger, having Hp equal to 40% of the Inuzuka's Max Hp. Pet's base damage is 80% of the user's, and has -4 of the User's Secondaries.
Rank 3: The Inuzuka's pet becomes perfectly trained, having Hp equal to 50% of the Inuzuka's Max Hp. Pet's base damage is 85% of the user's Unarmed Damage, and has -3 of the User's Secondaries.

Opportunists have mastered the art of precision attacking, knowing just when and how to catch the opponent off-guard with their attacks. It is very difficult into tricking one with your movements, masters as they are in the art of it already.

Effect: +1 accuracy (3 points in due to being in a bloodline format)

Just as their canine companion seems to be far more than your average pet, seeming to possess human-level intelligence, so too does the Inuzuka seem to lean towards a more Animalistic instinct, possessing razor sharp claws in place of frail nails, and sharp canine teeth, as well as a more beast-like personality.

Rank 1: Unarmed Attack's gain +5% Damage.
Rank 2: Unarmed Attack's gain +10% Damage.
Rank 3: Unarmed Attack's gain +15% Damage.

Notes:
- At all ranks, the Inuzuka's Unarmed attack's deal Slashing damage with a chance to inflict bleeding penalties.
- The user is able to use Slashing Taijutsu with their Unarmed Weapons.
Shadow Step said:

Type: Passive
Embracing the shadows, opportunists are adept in the art of covert fighting. They remain hidden from their victims until the moment they strike and even then leave their victims wondering where the attacker came from...and where they went.

Effect: The user has a 30% chance at remaining in Stealth after performing a Sneak Attack. Once per round, the user may make a Sneak Attack without being dropped out of Stealth; this may only be done three times per battle.
Natural Weapon said:
Name: Natural Weapon
Type: Passive
Some dark shinobi has more than their blood to show their heritage, some even developed such traits that can be used as an actual weapon, ranging from sharpened claws, deadly wings, or a powerful tail.

Effect: The user designates a single weapon in their Dojo; this weapon is treated as passively equipped whenever the user is not wielding any other weapon, and does not prevent the usage of handseals. Attacks with this Natural Weapon are considered Cursed. Natural Weapon is immune to effects which may cause the user to unequip or change weapons, and if multiple 'passively equipped' weapons are present, the user must state one.
Beast Clone said:
Name: Beast Clone
Type: Specialty Clone Jutsu
A technique which allows the user and canine to morph to be more akin to the other, the familiar will becoming larger and more humanoid, while the user gains even more canine features. This technique results in 2 identical 'clones,' although the familiar is still not as strong as the Inuzuka, though they both possess a feral appearance.

Rank 1: Pet gains +1 secondaries. The Inuzuka Gains +1 Dodge.
Rank 2: Pet gains +1.5 secondaries and +5% Damage. The Inuzuka Gains +1.5 Dodge and +5% Unarmed Damage.
Rank 3: Pet gains +2 secondaries and +10% Damage. The Inuzuka Gains +2 Dodge and +10% Unarmed Damage.

Cost: 1.5 AP; 500 chakra, 250/round.

Notes:
- This is treated as a fighting style, and does not count for the 'Clone' Jutsu limit.
- The user and their pet both appear as identical feral versions of the user.
Death Touch said:

Type: Independent Special Move
Nothing is perhaps more terrifying than a desperate demon. By embracing their dark powers in a dire situation, these shinobi can easily turn a grim situation into their favor via sheer terrifying strength.

Effect: For one full round, any Cursed Taijutsu attacks which utilize Melee Accuracy have their damage and CP costs doubled. While under the effects of Death Touch any other damage bonuses the user has are ignored. Death Touch can only be used once every other round and twice per battle.
Feral Charge said:
Name: Feral Charge
Type: Pet Jutsu
An Inuzuka's companion possesses far more strength than common pet's, and upon their master's command, the pet can charge forth at a target, and attempt to rip out their throat or shred them to pieces using their same super-canine strength.

Rank 1: Pet attacks causing 1,425 Damage at +1 Accuracy.
Rank 2: Pet attacks causing 1,725 of its Damage at +2 Accuracy.
Rank 3: Pet attacks causing 2,025 Damage at +3 Accuracy.

Type: Summoning Jutsu
A pack contains more than two members, and upon unleashing a howl of strong emotion, an Inuzuka and their pet can call upon canines from around the land to come and assist them in battle. Though untrained in any shinobi combat, wild animals can be particularly ferocious and especially so when they feel like a member of the pack is threatened.

Rank 1: Summons 5 Wolves that will attempt to attack the enemy for 500 dmg each.
Rank 2: Summons 6 Wolves that will attempt to attack the enemy for 500 dmg each.
Rank 3: Summons 8 Wolves that will attempt to attack the enemy for 550 dmg each.

Costs:
Rank 1: 2.5AP, 180 Cp per Wolf
Rank 2: 2.5AP, 180 Cp per Wolf

This technique is the ultimate incarnation of a demonic ninja’s tie to his or her hellish ancestry. Releasing all bonds and restrictions, they unleash their true demonic nature, becoming a terrifying being of power and awe. The after affects are disastrous, however.

Rank 1: While active, the user is considered Cursed, and remains so regardless of what other techniques are used during this time. Additionally, they have +1 Secondaries and deal +5% damage. Damage taken by the user is reduced by 10%; this reduced damage is converted into CP for the user. Lasts up to 3 rounds.
Rank 2: While active, the user is considered Cursed, and remains so regardless of what other techniques are used during this time. Additionally, they have +2 Secondaries and deal +10% damage. Damage taken by the user is reduced by 15%; this reduced damage is converted into CP for the user. Lasts up to 3 rounds.

Cost: 3 AP and 2,400 HP to initiate. 4% Max Hp/Rnd

Note:
- This counts as a Chakra Armor.
- The user is considered Dark, and remains so regardless of what other techniques are used during this time.
- Can only be used twice per battle, and requires a full round of cooldown between uses.
- Holy attacks ignore the user's damage reduction.

These gloves were created from the pelt of the wolf that Kyo called mother. Her name was Kita and she had the purest white hair. The gloves have a patch of her hair upon the back of Kyo's hand. While the gloves, themselves, feel fuzzy and comfortable, Kyo injects anger and hatred into these gloves granting them an insane amount of power. These gloves are open fingered to allow his natural claws to poke through.

Hollow Yew Bow

This bow isn't anything special. It's a very primitive bow made up of a flexible strip of Yew with a string going through it. The thing that makes this bow remarkable, however, are the strangely hollow arrows that it uses with it. Even with it's primitive design, the bow still packs a helluva punch and is quite accurate, even for Kyo's eyes. The hollow design of the arrows are what makes this bow so deadly. Even with it being made of flimsy wood, the hollow design lets it cut through the air at supersonic speed with enough force to be able to crush bone.

Many shinobi, during the course of their lifetimes, can be said to have mastered their own bloodline or core ability. Fewer can be said to have had the opportunity to do it with more than one; of those, only the Chimera manage it simultaneously, with their own natural bodies. There are many ways to achieve the path of the Chimera, masters of the most natural and innate of the ninja arts, but few ever manage to carry themselves fully along this difficult path to become true masters of their own powers as well as those they have absorbed, through ill means or no, those they were not born or raised to. Indeed, even for those who do, such arts prove positively exhausting, taxing them far more than do the earthly exploits of mere mortals...

Effects
The user gains the ability to integrate up to two additional BL/CA into themselves for use in full. This may be done by an application of at least 1000 words, once per month. The user is allowed their first additional BL/CA immediately after obtaining the Kinjutsu, if they so choose.
Any of the user's BL/CA may be dropped when a new one is picked up if they so choose. A Chimera cannot retain any techniques from a dropped table on their customized BL/CA.
From these BL/CA, the user constructs their own Bloodline or Core Ability for use during battle. This BL/CA can be altered in the user's dojo at any point outside of battle, with skills selected to be active to fill the BL/CA structure. The user can also swap between using a BL/CA structure at will. (Exact specifications and conversions of techniques between BL and CA in spoiler.)
Bloodlines are constructed out of 10 different skills, arrayed on a standard BL chart and split into ranks. (Example.) As most CA skills cannot be split into ranks, CA skills other than Boosts would simply take up the normal space on a BL table anyway.
Core Abilities are constructed out of 30 points worth of skills, 20 of which the user has access to at any given time. A Chimera Core Ability user can swap between active and inactive skills on their full table through the same method a normal Core Ability user can. (See here, the spoiler tab labeled Training Your Core Ability.)
Skills convert between BL and CA as follows:
Bloodline Passives = Core Ability Passives/Boosts/Ability Modifications
Bloodline Activated Passives, Styles, and Non-Final Jutsu = Core Ability Special Moves, Styles, and Jutsu Modifications
Bloodline Final Jutsu = Core Ability Final Jutsu
All Bloodline Passives and Activated Passives cost 1 CA point per rank, to 3 ranks, but the full version must be on the customized table.
Other Bloodline skills whose final rank is attained before 1200 PL cost 2 CA points.
Other Bloodline skills whose final rank is attained after 1200 PL cost 3 CA points.
Final BL jutsu cost 2 CA points for the final rank, like CA final jutsu. If the user wishes to use a rank 1 or 2 BL final jutsu, they will only cost 1 CA point, but the full version must be on the customized table.
Customized tables must not have more than four Passive-type skills (as defined above). They also must have one single Final Jutsu, but no more than that.
The Chimera can alter which skills from their 3 BL/CA tables are on their Chimera BL/CA every two weeks.

The Chimera's secondary cap buff limits are set to a maximum of +6, and their buff limits to +30%.
Skills and abilities that raise a secondary stat in a class (such as Cursed Seals) count against this limit for the amount of the difference between the two class levels. (A capped player raising a secondary from Average to High would have that counted as +4 against their limit of +6.)

- A 'fully mastered' BL/CA is considered to be the full Bloodline table unlocked, or access to 20 CA points regardless of whether they have all been used or not.

While the Chimera certainly have the ability to absorb the capabilities of others, not every attempt is something that they have complete control over. At times, there are some attempts where they end up capable of only drawing out a small part of a particular bloodline, or only a single technique from a particular skill. Fortunately, their unique physiology is very forgiving, and they are rarely left worse than they started.[lb2][/lb2]

- The user chooses up to 3 Special Moves or Jutsu from any BL/CA that is not one of their 3 BL/CA (these do not have to all be from the same BL/CA). These must be stated in the user's Dojo, and require a 300 word RP to activate. These may be swapped following the same rules as learning/unlearning abilities.[lb][/lb]
- Each of these chosen skills may be used as normal, but have a cooldown of two full rounds. Additionally, if any of these skills have a duration longer than one round, it is reduced to only one round.[lb2][/lb2]

Considered by some Chimera to be their quintessential skill, a lesser, quicker replica of the means through which they may siphon a whole set of techniques from others. By simply touching the skin of living being, the Chimera can directly absorb and copy aspects of a target and both understand and use them immediately. Those who are not Chimera exist as only one thing of use to the Chimera in battle: a means to elevate the level of their own perfection. There is no better way, in their mind, to stomp down the boot of their own superiority on the head of their opponent than to remove their use of those techniques the Chimera considers most core and useful to one's being and using that energy to augment the Chimera's own. This technique may seem somewhat limited and expensive, and indeed it is, but it is also a potential game changer should the Chimera apply it at the correct time. The loss of their own innate talents, even temporarily, can indeed throw off the battle rhythm of even the most skilled ninja.[lb2][/lb2]

No longer is it difficult in any way to see the near-blinding shine emanating from their skin; an Avatar-state Chimera positively glows with power. Their powers in this state seem to be borderline unbelievable, the capabilities and techniques earned through absorbing the abilities passed down and honed by generations of shinobi becoming little more than party tricks in the seemingly infinite repertoire of skills. However, this increase surge to all their abilities rapidly drains their vitality, and could leave them in a dangerous situation.[lb2][/lb2]
