| Hime is an attractive young woman of average height, with long, scarlet hair, chocolate brown eyes and fair skin. She may have a slender figure, but she has plenty of strength. Her attire can vary greatly. She can go from normal clothing to full plated armor; all of which is made by her. Around her waist is a slotted belt filled with storage scrolls filled with ethereal weapons. It is not uncommon for her to have one of her weapons at the ready. Despite being a woman, she often walks like a man. She does not bother with makeup but does sometimes alter her hair style to go with the armor. | Hime is not the outgoing type. She does like hanging with friends now and again, but crowds of people is something she avoids. She values comfort and to her that means alone time with her work. Social events are draining and tending to her forging is her way of recharging. As strange as it sounds, wailing a hammer to build weapons and armor is relaxing to her. That is not to say she always want to be alone, she still craves attention from time to time. She takes great pride in her work and loves when people appreciate her artistry. Within combat she can be flashy as she likes to show off her works: switching out weapons and armor during the battle. |
History |
| Hime had a rough time at the academy. She was proficient at molding chakra and using it to enhance her own physical abilities, but beyond that she was lost. It took her quite a while to learn hand seals and even now she is slower than most in preforming them. Despite the chakra induction paper telling her she had an affinity for lightning, she could not make a spark. She could not even wrap her head around illusions. She felt like a failure of a shinobi and often drown out her sorrows working at the forge. She failed exam after exam, which did not help her self-esteem. Eventually a teacher offered her a private exam. He had notice that while she was lacking in ninjutsu and genjutsu, she more than made up for it in taijutsu. The exam was merely a spar against the teacher with the rule of not using any ninjutsu or genjutsu. Hime shone like a star. Her speed was quick and movements fluid. She was able to switch from weapon to weapon with ease and was skilled in each one. She put amazing strength into her strikes and was able to endure attacks. The teacher forfeited the match as he had seen enough. He handed HIme a headband. She was one of the oldest students to graduate, but still this was one of the happiest days of her life. --- The Oak District is commonly known for its fantastic food and flowers shops. Of course, being a shinobi village there are much more practical stores for the average fighter. There are general stores that sell wears just for such a life still. If you keep walking down the road, you’ll come across the businesses that supply such shops. Here on the far end of the Oak District the sound of banging metal echoes as blacksmith are hard at work. One walking along the road could feel the heat emanating from the multiple forges. Blacksmith her make their living selling weapons and armor to local stores, however they would likely accept commissions to repair broken or run-down pieces for the average individual. Most of these blacksmith craft the weapons and armor in bulk, but there are a few that will make unique items crafted towards a person’s needs. Bulk identical equipment is more common because it is quicker. A custom-made weapon can take month depending on the buyers' request; however, the quality of the item is usually better due to the extra care taken to craft it. In the shop called ‘The Demon’s Forge’ is a woman that makes ethereal weapons and armor. Unfortunately, she does not get too many customers. She is not sure if it is because of the title of her shop or simply because she was a woman doing a so-called man’s job. Either way she continues to forge weapon if only for her own use. All assortment of weaponry adores the walls with each craft from her own hand. Today she was putting the finishing touches to a chest piece she was making. She pours out chakra on a piece of ethereal cloth and beats on it with a hammer until the chakra made into a more solid state. She would repeat this process multiple times just to make a single plate, which she then attaches to the chest piece. Her father taught her how to make ethereal weapons and armor. She remembers back when she was a novice, she would spend hours spinning chakra threads into spools. Afterwards she would knit the threads into clothing and thus made light ethereal armor. She really needed to build up her strength to make the heavier stuff. |
