Quite some time had passed since Shinzo had first vanished with no sign of returning yet. Lazy, frustrated and even somewhat bored Juko crossed the arena once more. Once you had the time to actually look and not dodge attacks all the time it really felt small. A couple of bushes, grouped together to create the illusion of a thick underthicket, trees that seemed to rise above the other green like leaders looking out for the enemy, a few small ponds, barely the size of a larger puddle in Juko's eyes and some cliffs. Those were the "points of interest" in this arena, and by now Juko felt as if he knew them all by heart. The people that were seated all around them seemed to have quieted down after their last showdown and were now merely watching the young blonde boy walk around in circles. Under his breath Juko was cursing his opponent for showing such a lame side to the audience. I KNOW he has more interesting abilities than that... and yet, hes not using them... instead hes hiding like a little cockroach, i bet the Aburame would love to keep him as a pet! His mood was growing darker by the minute to the point where he decided to taunt Shinzo even more than that.
He returned to the middle of the arena, where he raised his arms to his face and formed an improvised megaphone. SO!, TIME FOR A LITTLE BREAK IT SEEMS! I HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE ALL THE FIGHTS SO FAR! IM SORRY FOR BEING ALL ALONE UP HERE, IT SEEMS MY OPPONENT IS SOMEWHAT AFRAID OF FIGHTING ME! Then, he simply sat down in the middle and pushed his hands against his ribs. The left side seemed merely bruised but the right side, that one hurt a lot more in comparison and as his fingers touched the slightly blueish mark where Shinzo's punches had hit him he felt as if some of his ribs had been pushed together in a very unhealthy form. Ughh.... no wonder this hurts, good thing he didnt follow up with anything...
Sitting down in between the trampeled grass he tried to push the ribs apart which ended up with him gasping and catching for air as the pain bloomed once more in his torso.
Yep... ...thats not gonna work that way...
He took a moment to blink and glance at his surroundings but it seemed his caution was wasted on Shinzo. No ambush or sudden strike from the shadows followed and so Juko decided to risk it. Closing his eyes, first only halfway then about three quarters and finally fully he started breathing in deeply and relaxing his muscles. After a few moments of silence he breathed in especially deep and carefully prodded his ribs with his fingers. The pain lanced through his side but was far more shortlived and with a quick push he managed to separate the ribs from each other. He exhaled sharply and bit onto his lips but the fain quickly faded.
And still no sign of Shinzo...
Slowly he rose to his full stance again.
Cracked his neck once carefully and took another impatient look around.
The wind was shaking the trees and made the bushes shiver as if they were animals, scared by an unseen predator.
With an almost neglecting motion Juko turned to a random side and kicked against the lower branches of a particular thick brush.
To his surprise his utterly unintended attack revealed a crouching Shinzo, with his hands wrapped in what seemed to be medical bandages that glowed in a soft green.
Eyes met eyes and for a moment even the wind held its breath in suspense.
