Raian watched as his and his allies’ attacks seems to strike home, the resulting impact producing a variety of effects as they hit they unknown targets. Well, until the light began illuminating, revealing them to be quit non-human. Plant spirits? Now…this was rather unexpected, but not disappointing in the slightest. Shaking his hands as the sparks left them, he began moving, his chakra molding around the air as he tried to follow up his assault, however it appeared he had choice the wrong target, the gravity assault missing the fog creature, leaving him open to assault as he began moving once more to distance himself.
As he moved, the light showed bright, his eyes passing a glance at the clients, pausing a moment as the seemed to shift from focus. Whoever was utilizing this jutsu, he’d make sure to buy them lunch when this was all over. So, focus had they been on the potential threats their clients had warned them about, they hadn’t even considered that these farmers were less than truthful about their intentions. They could have even had a hand in the previous group incident. For name, the appeared harmless, but keeping another eye on them might be the best alternative as he focused on the fight.
Kneeling he moved through his hand signs quickly, the beast of nature branches shooting past the place where his head had been moments ago. Finishing the jutsu, he began gathering the chakra armor, his form beginning to blend in with the background as he took a moment to gather his thoughts on the current matter. Two threats, with the possibility of the two “fake civilians” either aiding should the tide turn or fleeing if matters got worst. The fog seemed to be the weaker one, but also the one with the most coverage, providing the large creature more chances are wrecking there alright unorganized position. Splitting the focus on either one of them, allowed the other one to attack unopposed, while focus on both weakened the assault, but allow for both threats to dealt with simultaneously.
Pausing for a moment, he reviews the actions of his allies, thinking of the best use of his skills in this assault, using another chakra intensive attack like the cannon might not be the best choice for a prolonged combat. However, he if could stop the wooden creatures’ moments for a few moments, if could allow for a few moments of breathing room for his team to plan for the following seconds. There was also the odd couple, he needed to keep his Crystal eye on them, just in case anything unexpected happened.
The lines of his thoughts coming together, his hands began moving as he began to test the waters once more, hopefully a bit more successful in this pursuit.
