Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kinnaku would cling to Satsumaru as she felt the rumbling of the tower; her utter failure as a Sennin. She would embrace the ideal of death, having been completely left in the dark when it came to an escape plan. There really was no real way the two of them could even escape from such a destructive death, but hey, even if they did die at least it would be in style, so to speak. However, Kinnaku would be surprised as she felt the ground beneath her and Satsumaru disparate and crumble into dust as the fire engulfed the two in a spectacular show of power, fire and light. Although all was not lost, the sound of a soft 'zooming' noise would cause her heart to skip a beat, as it was distinctive and different compared to the destructive crackle of the pillar.

Her eyes would open, and she would gasp; feeling Satsumaru's tight grip of pain, accompanied with his hellish roar. "Satsu!" She would exclaim, placing her hand on top of his and squeezing in return. His eyes, those Uchiha-bred eyes were bleeding profusely. But why? Kinnaku wasn't well versed in Uchiha lore, nor their abilities but she did know the medication conditions that came with overusing the Sharingan. And bleeding eyes was just a symptom, of many, that would ultimately lead to the blindness of a poor soul. But he didn't stay down for long, no, the man would lift himself from his knees - as would Kinnaku - and attempt to converse with the being that had so easily dismissed her peers. The sheer volume of debris from around him was enough evidence to conclude that he was out of everyone's league...

"Satsu... I have to treat them. I'll be back soon, okay?"
Kinnaku would step forward, her exhaustion kicking in as her own eyes blurred with dizziness, but her resolve was unshaken. She would loosen her grip on Satsumaru, but before dashing off, she would turn and give the man a hearty smile, "It's my turn to protect you now." A small portion of her energy would be formed in the face of her naked hand. She would imprint that said chakra upon Satsumaru's own hand, transferring her chakra effectively into his own body in the form of a condensed seal. This technique was a healing technique, a Medical Ward, and it would exist to ensure his survival. It would activate whenever the man would take damage, real damage.

Kinnaku would stand strong against the humid stench of battle before dashing off to one of her patients; Muzai. She would appear after a few moments beside the woman, placing her hand against her shoulder with a sweaty smile. "Please, do not overdo it... We'll work together, Muzai." The Sennin would mean what she said, they had to work together; they were the only medical ninja on the field, and by God, they would reap revenge for their falling home.

The Sennin would outstretch her hands and release an impressive colony of newly produced Kikai. "We can't let our Branch be shown up, can we?!" Before the release of her technique she would give her comrade a little wink as she treated other people. Even in the face of adversity, this woman, a person ill herself, was treating others and pushing her body to its limits. So Kinnaku had to do the same... This creature, she would assess, would be probably sensitive to energy and thus the shells that host energy. Which meant, to disorientate the create a massive field of thinned out Kikai, of which would emit their own chakra signature. Hopefully that would be enough to somewhat distract the Djinn from targeting individuals.

Kinnaku, albeit not healing, was doing exactly what a med-nin should be doing; providing support. More specifically, Kinnaku was providing support for Muzai, so that she could continue to treat her patients effectively. What an impressive child... And all the while, keeping a firm eye on Satsumaru. She wouldn't let harm come to him, especially...

[Medical Ward placed onto Satsumaru.
Released a large volume of Kikai to emit chakra signatures so to distract the Djinn.]

Raijin rose more fully from the ground. In his state of half collapsed lethargy he could be of no help to anyone. The Djinn saw it fit to rain down considerable damage within such a short time that Raijin wondered where this stranger had come from. How could no one have heard of him until now? Maybe they did but Sunan's just weren't privy to such information. The Kazekage had been targeted but by an attack much weaker than some of the other shinobi had been forced to endure. The sight of the young girl being brutalized seemed to stick in Raijin's mind more than the other images of violence. His blood boiled and he felt the urge to rush forward and attack. But yet, he knew it would do no good. His only realy hope was to do his real job and continue to observe this enemy.

For now he would ready himself to intercept any attack aimed at their leader. He didn't need to phyiscally move to bridge the distance, as the Kawarimi jutsu allowed him to move instantaneously, but it would pay for him to keep an eye on Sousuke.

Some sort of puppet or small creation came nearby and then used a transformation jutsu to disguise itself like Raijin. It might have been a nice trick, and even a good way to pursue misdirection but Raijin knew this enemy would not fall for such tricks. The power he commanded was immense but unstable. Already he could see the stranger was mad, literally, with power. His demeanor and tone of voice had shifted in such a way that he had to wonder if this being even understood what it was doing.

At the end of his show he grabbed Okibi, the girl Raijin had seen with the Kazekage only a few days previously, and threatened immense bodily harm. Might have worked with past crowds but Sunan's were a tough lot. Her breathen would move to protect her with the might of the Wind Country but it was more for show than anything. If she was trained even half decently, she would die without hesitation if it would buy the village another moment to analyze this opponent.

Yet, Raijin found himself speechless still. Really, it would have been simple to use his own talents to switch places with Okibi. And while it would have put himself in harms way, he knew he could take a few punches, even from this guy. But the other shinobi were so gung-ho that it would be foolish to attempt it. All he would do would be get in the way of several high powered techniques. But, maybe....

"I can get the girl out of his hand. Should I proceed?" Raijin echoed into his headset and on the most public channel. His hands moved to the 'initiation' handseal and he could displace the girls location with his own body, if given the green flag, in a moments time. All he really needed was some coordination with the other veterans. He couldn't really see anything less than a concerted effort by the best and brightest of Suna. Even if, so far, they hadn't been all that effective.

[spoilername="Actions"]1. Human Shield - Independent Special Move (2 points)
Restriction- Requires Body Switch
A Steadfast is excellent at taking blows, but not everybody else is. Using their natural ability to soak damage an extension of the Kawarimi (Body Switch) jutsu, a Stalwart can leap in front of an ally and take attacks for them, perhaps preventing them from being harmed.
Effect: The Steadfast can switch places with an ally that is attacked at a cost of 0.5 AP (they cannot switch places with an ally when they are being attacked). Allies that are aware of this ability and can Body Switch with real clones can designate the Steadfast as a target; if the Steadfast is unwilling to switch, then the jutsu automatically fails. The triggering attack is resolved against the Steadfast instead, who can attempt to dodge it normally.

Use this to protect the Kazekage whenever Djinn attempts to attack him. Raijin is fine with taking full damage. Unless he gets the okay to save Okibi. Then I imagine I'll be in the Djinn's hands. But as soon as I'm free of that, going back to protecting the Kage. <.<[/spoilername]

And there was a lesson to be learned here, on in which you should always question why you would ever stick your neck out for someone else. In a perfect world he would still be standing still in the darkness of the night, away from this little mess. In a perfect world his hammer would not be halted, with obnoxious ease. In a perfect world he wouldn't be shot in the stomach. There happened to be a long list of things that would appear in his perfect world, and yet, none of them would appear in his real world. No, instead he would not stay in the cover of the dark, his hammer would be stopped with an ease that could have literally made him throw up and lastly he was falling to the ground, being tripped, up. The coup de grace of this whole hellish sequence was that the figure before him would look down on him, like you would look down at an roach before stepping on it, and fire a bullet of kinetic energy into his stomach. The force of energy would accelerate his descent as it would try to tear through his body. Tensing his abdomen, Roku would place all his attention into keeping from having a hole placed in his body. This, of course, deterred him from the fact he was falling and even worse, that the ground had already caught up with him. Slamming into the ground his arms and legs would hang upwards as the trunk of his frame drove into the soil. The opposing forces would show their dismay with one another, tearing up the ground surrounding the point of impact until finally everything would subside. The appendages of Titan would slam to the ground with a cold sounding thud, and the ANBU would lay there lifeless for a moment.

Now there was plenty to get hung up on this point, and with his mind attempting to flood out of consciousness he would have ample time to ponder these questions. Instead he was stubborn. He chose to remain within this fight. Behind the mask his eyes would snap open followed by coughing, which would release a red mist into his mask. The color would not immediately be seen but after awhile the red, winding rivers would be seen flooding out from under his mask and down his neck. This would illuminate, to some degree, his internal injuries. His arms would cross themselves as his legs raised up, balling himself up in order to react to the physical pain surging through his body. This was a first; the first time he had felt such an overwhelming pain. His natural ability, the warrior blood within him, his training and his fighting style all gave him an advantage in not only dealing damage but accepting the a considerable return of damage. He fought dealing pain and realizing he would have to endure pain, so it had never been an issue. This was different, this highlighted just how far of a separation between him and this monster there truly was. Disheartening.

Rolling himself over he would pull himself up to his knees, still crossing his arms over his chest. The sound of another thud would reach him, landing next to him. It would take a moment to determine who it was but soon he would understand that Elfin seemed to have just as bad luck as he did. Then he heard the question of Raijin, the posing of whether to save a female or not. This caused his eyes to turn their focus upon the monster at the epicenter of this mess, and brought about a horrifying realization. The female caught within the grasp on the figure that had just embarrassed him was a familiar, goofy haired girl he had met not too long ago, Okibi. There wasn't a time to think of his actions, or their consequences. His hand would press on the communication device as his emotions once more would get the better of him.

"Yes."

Mikaboshi's headset crackled to life in his right ear: "Genjutsu... non... effective..."

The Ancient mentally scoffed at Elfin's foolishness. Of course Genjutsu didn't work. Genjutsu was an art of manipulation and illusion but it was an art of willpower at it's base. To effectively afflict someone with one of their illusionary shinobi techniques, a ninja needed to infiltrate the mind of their opponent and then subjugate their opponent's willpower in order to alter their victim's perceptions. Essentially it required the caster to overpower the conscious mind of their opponent so that they could force them to believe something that wasn't true-- in some cases something that couldn't be true. Thus in order to wield Genjutsu against the creature that they faced they would first need to link their mind to it's mind which was a dangerous proposition to begin with. Who could say what mental horrors lurked beneath it's flesh? Then they would need to subjugate it's willpower and with a being that was capable of producing so much energy such a feat would be nearly impossible. A person which could actively subjugate the willpower of a being their attacker would be a mental savant capable of bending the minds of humans with a whim. No such powerful psychic force existed within Sunagakure-- or at least not one that Mikaboshi was actively aware of --and certainly not within his ANBU Corps. Raising his hand to his ear piece as he arrived on scene, Mikaboshi issued a warning to the surrounding shinobi;

"Mikaboshi here. Do not attempt to interface with it mentally; it will almost certainly overpower you."

Letting his hand fall away from his mask as his flickering form appeared just behind Sousuke as the Steward arrived, Mikaboshi allowed his gaze to wander to Kuro as the other Sennin shouted loudly about this and that. Kuro was powerful certainly as the demon beast let his chakra flow freely from his body. It was dark in nature just as his was but still it wrankled his sensibilities. His dark chakra was unnatural in nature. It was demon charka. And if there was one thing that Mikaboshi disliked more than a human being, it was a demon. At least human beings were native to the mortal world. Demons were abnormal creatures which invaded from another world; beings that simply did not belong meddling in this world which did not belong to them. But unfortunately, Kuro's power was misplaced. Pumping that much strength into an attack on a person with a hostage... Kuro could just as easily harm the girl that Djinn had in his hand. In fact, given the creature's strength it was possible that he was even more likely to do so than actually inflict any damage on the menacing creature. Then as if he'd heard Mikaboshi's concerns outloud, the voice of one of Suna's shinobi crackled over the headset requesting permission to get her out of his hand. Snapping his hand up and glancing around to see if he could lay eyes on the speaker, Mikaboshi's mind raced. By giving permission he might be putting Okibi or the speaker in further danger but with Kuro prepping a massive chakra attack they were out of options at this point. As he clicked down the voice button however, someone else spoke and gave the order; Titan. One of his ANBU. Growling slightly at someone giving orders in the presence of not one, not two but all three Sennin as well as the Steward-Kazekage, Mikaboshi mentally made a note to have Titan reprimanded later for his disregard for the chain of command even if the call he'd made was the right one.

"Get her out of there. And clear the channels for people who are actually in charge, Titan." The Ancient didn't care much for Okibi's life but his oath to Sousuke demanded that he attempt to keep safe any of the shinobi present in the battle and Mikaboshi was a being of his word if nothing else. He could not make a decision which would greatly endanger the life of one of them unless the dangers of failure greatly outweighed the risk he was taking. In this particular circumstance, he could not take the chance that any power he might unload on Djinn could hit and harm Okibi. Focusing his attention onto Djinn and Okibi, Mikaboshi waited for the moment to arrive. The perfect moment when the shinobi which had spoken over the headset frequency made his move and removed Okibi from the equation. Once the younger girl was clear of the line of fire, Mikaboshi's eyes would spark to life and fire out a pair of jagged and chaotic jade beams of energy which would lance through the air towards Djinn. Dancing around his feet, the shadows bubbled at Mikaboshi's activated chakra and prepared to receive his body to ferry him to safety if he were attacked. Sufficiently prepared, as usual.

Casting Menacing Blast on Djinn as soon as Okibi is clear. Mikaboshi doesn't realize Raijin is going to swap places with her so as soon as she is out of the way, he will fire. He is also prepared to receive the first blow sent at him with Dark Displacement.

It was like watching a child throw a tantrum with its toys. Actually, perhaps that analogy wasnt quite right. This... person, thing, this monster didnt seem angry. It just seemed to revel in the destruction that it was causing. Fellow shinobi were flying left and right, into the air and across the ground. It was easy to see how such a being had power enough to make the tower fall. In fact, she had a sickening feeling that they were seeing only the tip of the ice berg. The girl gulped loudly as she watched the chaos ensuing.

"By the sands... what is this creature?" Seven mumbled distractedly. Okibi had no answer for his question. She hadnt the slightest clue what it was, although it looked mostly like a human male. Shaking her head, she could barely manage a few words.

"Okibi not know."

As the carnage continued, Okibi could barely keep up with the invaders movements. Fist he was sending a girl flying hundreds of feet with no more than a flick of his thumb, and then he was throwing a familiar dark skinned male high, high up into the air. He was here and he was there; it was almost like he was in multiple places at once, he was so fast! Okibi barely caught him with her eyes when he blinked into existence behind Sousuke. Her eyes had barely widened in alarm before her armored pack-mate was sailing through the air, and only because the fiend had put his hand on the man's back! Truly, the power this creature possessed was frightening.

And what could she do while all this was happening, she had to ask herself. Her right arm was broken, and the rest of her were pretty beat up too. She didnt know any decent long rage jutsu that could possibly have any affect on this guy; not that she thought he would stand still long enough anyway. What the heck could she do?

And within the few moments that she fought with herself, trying to decide on a course of action, the monster did something that drew her completely out of herself. With a clap of his hands the remains of the burning medical tower were completely engulfed; the heat and the light were almost more than she could stand. She rose her good arm to shield her face, but it hardly helped. It just kept burning and burning.

Perhaps what happened next could have been avoided if she were paying attention. Then again, maybe not; the invader was so incredibly fast, so powerful, she probably had no hopes of evading him or fending him off. Even Seven, who was virtually unharmed thus far, wasnt quick enough to react before the creature appeared above them and snatched Okibi off his back before disappearing again, taking her with him. When they reappeared again, Okibi felt incredibly disoriented, not just because of that little trip but because the monster had taken her by the neck, leaving her dangling. This was not good.

Of course, the first thing she did was bark (literally). "Dont you dare move!" She howled, or at least attempted to. There wasnt much air to grasp at thanks to the enemys meaty hand. It didnt matter all too much, since Seven's hearing was rather sharp, and his attention was on them anyway. He was poised to charge, hackles high and his lips raised in the nastiest snarl anyone had ever seen. Her monstrous dog was angry, and frantic for her safety. Nothing except her words would stop him from leaping into the fray. "You stay right there!"

By some miracle, Seven kept himself from moving, although his body shook with the need to save his human.

Simply being this close to the monster was like standing right next to that roaring fire. His presence was so overwhelmingly powerful that for a moment Okibi feared she was going to black out. It was by sheer will power alone that she didnt. His words buzzed in her ears, sounding slightly muffled. She reached up with her good arm did what anyone would did in that kind of situation, she tried to hang on. So, if someone didnt save her now he was going to pluck her eyes out? His words cut through the fear that was making her shake, and kindled a small fire in the pit of her belly. While she was more than sure he was beyond capable of ending he life right then and there with a flex of his hand, the fact that he threatened her so only angered her. What had she ever done to him? What did any of them ever do to him?

Behind her, Okibi could hear the sounds of attacks coming their way. What, did nobody see that this monster had her captive? What if he used her as a shield!? He could so easily throw her into the line of any oncoming attack, protecting himself letting her take the damage instead! What if-

Yeah, what if he did that?

Suddenly, Okibi found herself hoping she would be thrown into the line of fire.

Focusing back on the enemy, Okibi snarled as she tried to dig into his arm with the claws of her good hand. She tried to choke out just a few words, glaring at him through one eye while the other screwed shut. "You want Okibi's eyes? Like hell." Her good arm probably wasnt going to be able to reach, and that only left her broken one. Well, fractured or not it was all she had to work with. Forgoing any dramatic theatrics, Okibi threw her hand at the monsters face, enforcing it with as much chakra as she could to give it the consistency of a spear. With her fingers pressed together, she aimed the tips of her claws at his eyes, hoping to gouge out at least one.

Time would seem to slow down for the warrior priest. His body pumped full of adrenaline, heightening his already heightened shinobi senses. The pain he felt as he got closer to the being seemed to be phased out, his body completely numb. All that he cared about now was landing his attack, hoping to at least make a dent, but despite all of his ambition he fell short. His extended arm would come in contact with the ground instead of the target, causing most of the energy to be dispersed into the ground. Was this man truly divine? Was he a God?!

Kagai was picked up by his throat, dangling limp like a rag doll as the beast in front of him gloated. He could barely breathe before, but now it took all of his effort to just take a single breath. Unable to speak, he just listened as this monster called him daring, and that he commended him for his efforts. All he could do was smile and closed his eyes, content that he had done the best he could and would shortly be with his lord in paradise soon enough.

The last thing he felt before the darkness settled in was the sensation of falling. His body had been tossed aside like trash, and he soon passed out. For a moment, there was only darkness, and he worried that he had lost his way once more. Had he strayed from Lord Kojin's path? Did he not go a good enough job to enter into his paradise? Or, worst of all, was what some believed true, that there were no gods? No afterlife? Just eternal darkness and oblivion once ones light had been extinguished...

"Oh ye of little faith..." A booming voice would say to Kagai. Suddenly, the darkness was interrupted by an explosion of golden fire. The light from the explosion would momentarily blind him, but he could feel the warmth all around him. As he slowly opened up his eyes, what he was greeted with was something far beyond what he could of imagined. He was looking upon what appeared to be the Sun itself, a large orb of golden and red fire swirling before his very eyes. He was dumbstruck, unable to answer the voice, but knew who it belonged to. He wasn't sure if it was shame, fear, or some mixture of both that prevented him from answering, but despite the warmth all around, he felt frozen.

"You claim to be my harbinger, my herald, yet you do not see what is in front of your face!" The voice would say in an almost deafening roar towards Kagai..."Did you not feel its power? Do you not see the absolute ease this creature casts away it's adversaries? Compared to it, you are a mere insect...Shall I make this my harbinger? Shall I make this creature my herald to bring my justice to the world?! ARE YOU WORTHY TO BE THE CHOSEN OF KOJIN?!" Kagai stared forward listening to the words of his Lord, his anger and jealousy for this creature boiling within him until it overshadowed his shame and fear...."Yes...I am..." He would mutter, the flames before him becoming hotter and almost at an uncomfortable level....."Speak louder, worm. Worm who cowers and crawls beneath the earth!" The voice said in response.

"Yes. I am!
" Kagai would repeat, making his voice louder and more assertive...."LOUDER!" The flames around him were now blazing hot. Kagai felt himself being cooked alive, but his resolve went unhindered..."YES I AM!" And with that, the heat slowly died off once more, and the vision of this golden sun began to fade from view..."We shall see...".

Kagai's eyes would slowly begin to open back up. He was back in the real world, this much was true, and sadly he could now feel all of the pain his body neglected. He could feel every bit of it, but also felt as if he was being dragged. His eyes would motion towards a large pillar of light in front of him, confused as to what was going on. He looked around, noticing he was still within Sunagakure, and from what he could tell, he was near where the Caduceus Tower would be, only it was not. He coughed, wondering who was dragging him, but unable to turn his head to see, though the pain was beginning to recede. His body had always been quick to recover from injury, though it would be quite a bit before he got up...."What...happened..?" Kagai asked, wondering if whomever was dragging him would answer, or even hear him. He could feel his body slowly being healed, at least to the point where he could move himself a bit.."...Where am I?" He asked, unable to recognize his surroundings without the Caduceus Tower.

Things had escalated to the point of madness. Osiris, the ANBU Captain, could really only watch as each of his ANBU were tossed, beaten, broken and bruised. He did not move forward to attack the monster, instead remained on his headset and even removed himself further away from the monster enemy. Perhaps from an untrained or nonstrategic mind that the attacks all the shinobi made on the creature were fruitless and even careless, but in fact they all had use; the purpose of eliminating the wrong ways to attack the Djinn.

Elfin's eyes were of no use to her and genjutsu was pointless on this being, doubly noted by the abused woman. Kagai's fire rasengan was pushed aside like a toy and he was assaulted by his own explosion. Fire seemed useless against the creature and also such straight attacks. The main branch sennin was bound like a child in the Djinn's hand, proving he too was too weak to fight the being alone. He could easily surminse the creature was at least the strength of 10 men put together, looking at how easily he dispatched everyone. And what he had done to that young girl, the one with the dolls.. he was merciless too.

The building... the fiery tower of all encompassing death... no shinobi he'd ever heard of could command such power at will and continue to stand as if unhampered. It was as if he had an endless well of power at his disposal.

Osiris moved further away from the action, even as Satsumaru came toward the beast, speaking to it as if it could be reasoned with. He felt that route was quitre useless, but didn't stop the man. He landing firmly atop a new rooftop where he crouched and set upon the task of studying the beast for weakness, tactic or whatever else would come useful to them.

The headset he donned was swiftly overcome with words. His own sennin, his ANBU, another man he didn't know. He remained silent on the com himself, leaving the dictation to his sennin and the steward.

All was going so spiffy, everyone was choking on the reality that outweighed their tiny little lives: they were all doomed. And as the Djinn held this little creature, a purple haired child, by the neck he would only feel but pleasure as she struggled under his grasp alone - not to mention the immense pressure he emitted from his own body. Nansui, the more creative and destructive brother, would roll back his eyes as he felt the energy of those around him twist and turn; their little hearts pumping furiously to keep their bodies going, their bodies working in overtime just to even stand against a monster, a God such as the Djinn. Another select two signatures appeared from a time-slip, one man and one woman, to which Nansui could only smile: he had more toys to play with. Although, there was something much more different about the man when compared to the rest - he, another one with special eyes, approached the creature with words rather than fists. "Interesting..." He would comment, clutching onto Okibi's neck tightly as she used her paws to attack the Djinn. Satsumaru attempted to converse with the creature by using an ancient tongue, which to him was relatively common and easy to interpret, maybe that would give the fighting shinobi a chance to gauge just how old this monster was. In an instance, the Djinn - along with a captured Okibi - appeared before the black haired man, just inches away from his face as he out-stretched his hand that held onto the girl into the air. "Why? Because your village is a sickness," His poisonous words would escape from his mouth and touch upon Satsumaru's face - by now, the immense pressure would have caused the man to fall to his knees, "We are here to cleanse the sickness, to cleanse your 'village', of that which threatens peace and life."

Before the Djinn even attempted to do anything to Satsumaru for dare speaking out of line, the representative of the village would ignite with the Will of Suna. After the maniac foo was done talking, he had unleashed several attacks, to which the Djinn would arrogantly turn his eye and hold up Okibi to face them herself; as she continue to struggle. "Tell me, what sort of leader attacks so brashly without coming up with some sort of strategy to save the hostage? Too shame, little man, too shame." The Djinn would grab a hold of Satsumaru, launching him and Okibi towards the energy slash and series of fireballs that the Kage stupidly released. The outcome of that would be up to their own avail, if they had any sort of plan to evade, that is. Nansui wouldn't waste too much time in watching the outcome of Okibi and Satsumaru's collision with a fatal fate. No, he would disappear in a flash and appear standing in the center of the battlefield once more. A smile prowling along that marble expression. "Do tell me, does that speech always work or is it something that you thought would sound pleasant at the end of their lives?" He would scoff, but hey, at least the mold of dirt broke the other arrogant fool's fall.

Djinn's eyes would trail tiny, tiny little life forces scattering across the battlefield with his monstrous senses. He didn't know what these little things were, but they positioned themselves with other combatants. But suddenly, oh-so suddenly, the monster would vanish from plain sight and appear beside that of Muzai, the woman who healed the sick, and placed his head onto her shoulder. She would be almost instantly brought down to her knees with a horrid pressure, "You're healing the sick? I'll let you live... After all, I'll save the one who heal the sickness for last. You'll have the worst death of them all." The Djinn would comment as he placed his hand on her head and patted her; his touch was disgusting, he would send could shivers down the girl's spine. However, it would be hard to tell if Muzai could notice the shivers due to the pain she would be in from his immeasurable pressure.

He, again, would disappear and reappear back onto the center of the battlefield. Standing there, the Djinn wouldn't notice a black flame lingering on his shoulder. Oh, these were the undying flames of Amaterasu a pitful God in the eyes of Djinn. He would arch his head awkwardly to try and lock onto the budding flames that latched themselves to his skin, but it appears they were dying on there own... Unable to destroy his marble flesh and devour their target. Nansui would cup his hand over the flames, tightening his grip into a fist and then remove his rocked hand forward: opening it up and revealing a small bundle of black, powerful flames that danced to prancingly. "Who insults Djinn with the presence of such a pitiful God?" The Djinn blew on the flames and caused them to waddle from his hand into the air, and then into nothing. What... was he... Nansui would fall silent for a moment, entirely consumed with rage for what he had just witnessed; blasphemy! Kumiko had a great intention to use her special ability against the creature, a smart move, but unfortunately she couldn't have ever perceived that this monster would be so strong.

But trouble was brewing again, and it came from the Sennin of the Main Branch, Kuro. He proclaimed something about... well, something. Nansui wasn't really listening, in fact, he found the whole theatrics quite dull and pitiful. However, what he really took interest in was the summoning of a rather impressive statue, which seemed to emit some kind of healing energy to those on the battlefield. But the Djinn's attention was drawn away from that statue as two beings with the same presence attacked the Djinn, both with their own unique abilities, one the same as that girl's and the other as the warrior priest. Suddenly, an engulfment of black flames encroached on the Djinn's arm - which would only provoke his anger further - but no, he wasn't even allowed time to proclaim his rage, like so many had done before him, for he was now faced with a raging boy with what seemed to be condensed chakra in his hand. Kuro, approaching with a rasengan of dark nature, would be met with a smile... The collision of the two would cause the ground to crackle and shatter, sending out a shock wave, but that didn't matter was the dust from the ground would cover an impressive radius. As the dust settled, just like the warrior priest, the Djinn would be seen standing tall with his hands behind his back. The angered Kuro would be laying on the ground in a self-made crater (due to the explosion of the perfected rasengan) as the black flames lay across his body; burning furiously. The Djinn had... wiped... the flames onto Kuro during their collision? "Don't be a hero."

After the Djinn had dismissed Kuro, much to his annoyance, Nansui would pick up on a large volume of chakra signatures that seemed to be all over the place. He squinted his eyes and located the owner of such a tedious technique and appeared by her side. Oba Kinnaku would be immediately knocked down to her knees under the pressure of the Djinn. "You're all so very annoying, do you know that?" He would hold up his open-hand and spread his fingers wide, preparing to release an attack upon the woman. And he would do just that, by releasing a large kinetic blast that would roar into the Sennin with a great strength and cause her body to be pushed into the earth. The Djinn would disappear, once again, and find a new target. But after appearing on top of a rather cobbled building, over-looking the battlefield the monster was met with a surprise attack. He had let himself get too distracted, it would appear.

Jagged energy beams would encroach on the Djinn's personal space. They would combust and engulf the creature in a red flash of light, a light that would explode the darkness of the battlefield for a brief second. However, it was a rather weak attempt at defeating the Djinn. Although it did show you that even this creature was enjoying this battle way too much, perhaps not thinking strategically. It wouldn't matter though, his brother SHunsui would come back out soon, and everyone here would suffer further. The Djinn wiped cobbled tiles from his shoulder and yawned as he felt no real need to express his boredom at the shinobi.

"My time has ran out, children, but don't be upset... My brother shall arrive again and then... I'll be back."

The Djinn would disappear from sight only to reappear un the center of the battlefield again, raising his hands and smiling. Without wasting any time on words, on any more actions, the Djinn would slam his naked palms into the face of the dried earth and release a massive volume of raw explosive chakra. The explosion, such a dense and horrid thing, would reach to the top of Suna's ceiling and cause it to shake furiously. The shock wave alone from the mushroom shaped explosion would decimate entire districts and kill thousands of citizens in the process. The shinobi would have to put all of their efforts into a single defense to make it through this. Shunsui would probably scold his brother for going too far...

The Djinn was a being of incredible strength and endurance. His body was too tough for attack and his willpower was beyond genjutsu. They had no hope of defeating him, even if the entire village came. There is only one being in all of suna that has any chance of fighting him on a leveled playing field. Only being that has any hope of defeating him. We just need to release it. They needed the Jailer. The darkness in the seventh level of the Obsidian Palace; he who can cause paranoia and mental trauma, it consumes the very chakra of any living creature that be introduced to it robbing most in-mates of any chakra-molding abilities that they possessed.

Nani was now healed enough to move around she takes a headset form one of the medically staff. She then gives a message on all channels. “We need to guide it to the Obsidian Palace. Only The Darkness can hope of defeating him.” However before anyone could act on her plan, the Djinn goes to the center of the battlefield and BOOOM! It was huge and coming towards her and she stood there like a deer in the headlights. Suddenly all her dolls fall lifeless and a giant teddy bear, three times her size, appears behind her. He hugs her, falls to the ground and protects her from the blast. This was Totoro a doll she made herself. His fur was hardened by chakra and could withstand the blast.

His breathing was heavy. And so were his eyelids, as his golden orbs could barely reveal themselves. His chest expanded outwards slightly, every breathe taken becoming easier than the last. This...new intruder; he was a lot stronger than he anticipated. A very thin stream of blood slightly tickled at his forehead from the previous attack. It was like a barrage of pure pain inflicted in a matter of seconds.

But no...he had to move. He was sitting up right, his back pressing and supporting itself against a wall. He could feel it's rocky features slightly stabbing his back, but it was nothing compared to the searing pain rushing through his head right now. If his back wasn't leaning against the wall like this, he would surely be staring at the sky right now. At a moment's notice, one of his fingers twitched. Finally, the first limb to move. After a couple tries, his hands were already moving; then his legs, and then everything else came natural to him once more.

His body slowly rose, as his knees outstretched themselves to allow the body to reach its height once more. His vision was still blurry though, as such an attack was surely strong enough to have damaged something internally. But to Mugen, these things don't matter. Simply because he will not die until that bastard pays. He simply does not care. Why? Because where his body rots and trots is of no matter to him, as he had already designated his target.

It was that bastard with the funny haircut, or lack of one at least. Feline like eyes stared at ahead at the man who stood in the middle of the field, before his feet carried him slowly, but surely, towards his target.

"Darasu...that bastard's not getting out of here alive." he spoke, his voice hoarse from the damage he had incurred earlier.

Now

The Djinn was too busy dashing at extreme speeds from location to location to see Magen standing a few meters in front of him in the center of the battlefield, a grin slowly marking itself upon his features. It was enough for the invader to simply place his hands upon the earth in order to summon a massive surge of chakra that would sky rocket upwards. The blazing wave would sprout upwards, ascending into the sky like a blazing tornado of pure destruction.

Due to his impulsive attitude, Mugen would be the first to find himself at the core of this explosion. Once again, with his signature move, his blazing fist would attempt to connect with the preliminaries (or one might call it the beginning sequence) of the explosion in order to piece straight through it, and punch the Djinn right in his lower jaw. His fist would connect with the surge of chakra, as his sleeve would slowly unravel and burn to smithereens a few moments after connecting with the surge. The destruction of his clothes would not stop there as most of the black and tan robe that was covering top of his body would be consumed by the clash between the massive surge and Mugen's flaming punch. All that would be left covering his body would be his white pants, which would be lacking almost one side due to the immense energy emitting from the djinn.

Mugen would probably be able to only get one hit in, before falling to his knees from the pressure emitted by the Djinn. This, of course, was only IF he were to pierce through the surge of chakra

"Get...out...of..my villaaaaage!"

OOC: Used same punching attack as my last post.

Eiji's brow furrowed deeply as he watched the scene unfolding. Everyone was acting on their own, no unity, no leadership. What he could see from here was Suna was weak. It didn't work together, it stood divided.

It was obvious to the ANBU captain now that front attacks would do nothing to this being. And his own AiT were acting as reckless fools, trying to get themselves killed. Well Mugen more than Darasu. Even though neither was wearing their ANBU gear, Osiris was privy of their identities. This wouldn't do. They were still standing.

Quick as a flash, Osiris ran through a set of handseals then threw his palms upward at the sky. From the ground below, next to the building he stood on, a immoderately sized, shimmering black creature erupted throwing rocks and sand all over the place. As it pulled itself swiftly from the ground, it split again into two and both tore off as commanded. The one collided with Mugen as the fire came blazing from Djinn and before he could finish his next assault, but not before the fire would turn most of his clothing to tatters (there was no way he could have connected a punch to the Djinn anyway), and grappling the boy and tearing off with his frame away from the fire. The other would find Darasu and pull him away from the action as well.

Both genin would find themselves carried hastily to where the ANBU captain stood, now a few paces away from the roof edge to allow them some privacy from the eyes of the others around... if anyone else even noticed. While the dragons pulled Darasu and Mugen away and to him, he caught the part the Djinn said last. What was that about a brother? Nerves wracked, he peered about... yet there seemed to be no other being. What brother?

...

But thoughts were interrupted as the two youth were dropped unceremoniously before him. Knowing both of their files well, Osiris reached his hand over Mugen's face and called up a rodent shaped mask, concealing his identity from the world. Yes, he was also revealing Mugen to Darasu and Darasu to Mugen as being Mite and Sliver, but they would be lucky enough to survive, let alone deal with the revelation. Darasu could summon his own mask and he expected him to do so. "Your rashness will kill you both. Now. We are running around like fools, as gnats to a mighty hornet." The captain was scowling at both of his AiT. He wouldn't take no for an answer and they better shape the fuck up. "Now quickly transform your clothing both of you, to further conceal yourselves. Mite." He was referring to Darasu of course. "When you are concealed, go find Elfin. Bring her back to this point. Sliver, you find Titan and do the same. Let them both know this is a command from me."

[ooc: Since Osiris is almost 4x the skill level of Darasu or Mugen, dragging them along shouldn't be a problem. Hope you guys don't mind.

Actions used:
Obsidian Dragon said:
A crystal technique that, like many jutsu, takes the form of a dragon inspite of Ryoma`s statements. Powerful, shiny, and all you can expect crystal techniques to be.

Information
Prerequisite: A Rank, Crystal Affinity, 4 Mastered Crystal Jutsu

Rank 1: The user compacts the crystal in the earth to construct a dragon composed of obsidian. This creature has 5810 Hp, and strikes deal 1170 damage with a 12% chance to cause bleeding and activate the 'Crystalline' effect.
Rank 2: The user compacts the crystal in the earth to construct a dragon composed of obsidian. This creature has 7260 Hp, and strikes deal 1470 damage with a 14% chance to cause bleeding and activate the 'Crystalline' effect.

Special Action: Attacks with the dragon can be used as called shots. This replaces bleeding with an equal chance of inflicting called shots.

Special Action - Obsidian Twin Dragons: By paying +20% Cp, the user may create two Obsidian Dragons instead of one. Each only has 50% of the Hp and Damage of a single, normal use, however.

Special Action: By paying .5 Ap, the user may 'ride' the crystal dragon. Attacks targeting the user have a 28% chance of hitting the Dragon instead.

Rank 1 Cost: 2420 Cp, 1210 Cp/Rnd
Rank 2 Cost: 3030 Cp, 1520 Cp/Rnd

Notes:
- This is a Creation Jutsu.
- This creation has secondaries equal to -4 of the user's, and 3 Ap.
- Creation Hp and damage may be increased with Crystal buffs.
- The 'Crystalline' effect causes +5% base damage and gives the victim a 15% chance to auto-fail their next attack. This auto-fail only applies if the attack was targeting the user.
- Strikes from this creation cost 1 AP to perform.

Important: A friendly reminder, C-Rank and above require a player to have Shadow Tactics which comes automatically when becoming an Anbu.

Mask Summon said:
Concealing ones identity is important to all ninja, but a necessity to an Anbu. This technique was created as a result of that to allow the user to instantly summon some type of mask over their face.

Information
Prerequisites: D Rank

Rank 1: The user may summon their mask to conceal their identify. The mask may block 1 Called Shot to their Head before breaking.
Master: The user may summon their mask to conceal their identify. The mask may block 2 Called Shots to their Head before breaking.

Rank 1 Cost: 1 Ap, 240 Cp
Master Cost: 1 Ap, 300 Cp

Notes:
- Does not require handseals.
- May only be used once per round. Recasting simply restores the mask condition.
- Rp wise, a player may already be wearing a mask but they do not receive the Called Shot bonus until this technique is activated.
- The user may still dodge the attack, the Mask only blocks an attack that would hit.
- If the user has the Strategist ability, they may utilize a slot to activate this Jutsu prior to battle.

The stranger tossed the girl and another man towards the Kazekage's jutsu, which meant he was no longer required to 'rescue' her from the being. Again his focus went back to the Kazekage and the opponent. So far they had seen a myriad of techniques used and all of them were entirely ineffective. Additionally he had noticed very few patterns or weaknesses. Which was troubling in a way but he knew there had to be some secret to this battle. Perhaps if attacks didn't work then it would require a more skilled touch. Raijin thought about his own arsenal and which jutsu would be effective in this scenario.

With a grim expression he sunk back into the dirt, just in time to avoid the large explosion above ground, and started to make his way towards the Djinn. From beneath the ground he let the chaos and mass of bugs serve as a distraction while he molded chakra in his palms. On his left hand, with each fingertip glowing a bright purple, the 5-Elemental Seal formed with ease. It was disruptive to any who relied on chakra to perform their tricks. Perhaps it would work better than the frontal assaults those above ground were attempting. On his right hand, a black and white chakra moved towards each fingertip much like the aforementioned seal. Only this time it was Morality Sealing, a powerful technique capable of weakening those that are too pious or evil. Punishing both extremes with equal prejudice. "Raijin, Special Jounin, I am taking an opening. All shinobi stand down on the offensive actions until I am clear." He spoke into his headset. That was an order to the lower ranking shinobi and a request for the more senior.

After the shaking stopped, Raijin homed in on his target and attempted to come up from below, using his ability to ignore pain to push through any discomfort. If successful he would attempt to grab onto the strange being's ankles for just a moment. In doing so he would impart two rather noxious seals capable of considerable annoyance, even to a powerful shinobi. After that, he would attempt to retreat below the surface. Being in a cave environment meant he had ample space to move about.

It didn’t take long for Harupia to get to the center of the area where all the commotion was focusing. But in the short amount of time, many a things have happened. People attacked the single figure in the middle of the fray, each of them smacked down with extreme prejudice...the being simply warped around, topping the attack aimed towards the tower, defecting and countering every move, sending Kuro flying into the stratosphere seemingly... But hey, there was the two Sunans from the top of the tower, so it was allBOOOOM!

While he was a fair distance away he could feel the heat wave brushing through his frame as he started into the flaming pillar, engulfing the entire tower, with enough force to push him back slightly... again his mind went blank for a second, the magnitude of all this greater than anything he faced before. He was dazed, amazent by the sheer power this thing possessed, bemused as to why such a destructive personality was allowed to gain this power, enraged that this was all happening, confused, verging on just laying down and giving up all together… but he kept hearing voices. Cries of pain and anguish, but also cries of defiance, facing the being in spite of its power. Even a somewhat familiar voice crying out in a patriotic, desperate way…for Suna…
It wasn’t much, but for a sensitive soul like him it was enough. He couldn’t give up now, it would be spiting in the face of what he believe himself. Regardless of the carnage, he had to do something to try and save as many as he could, to stop this thing. Though that didn’t seem quite plausible. As his vision once again focused he only saw more attack dodged, deflected, people sent flying and hurt…still so much wounded and seemingly nothing they could do.

He had seen the attacks thrown at the best effortlessly deflected or ignored…that wasn’t the way to deal with it seemed. He came too late, wanting to save the people in the tower, he had no ideas how to attack… though the condescending tone of the creature made him want to just choke him under his sand…but for now, he thought saw that most of the people, including the medical staff and the few wounded around them were out in the open…he needed to change that. His chakra would start focsuing as he aproched the fray, comgin from behind where Muzai and Oba were statioed

Not really caring for the abominations move to the center, expecting another attack, he would move himself to face him from the distnace, in such an angle to see most of the people who were cloe by, quickly running through a set of hand seal’s as he shouted out “Iron Sand Style: Earthslide Wall!” slamming his palms into the ground seconds before the powerful being. From the ground, before the main lane, the sand from the ground would shift upwards, forming a wall as wide and tall he could muster, arching around the being in the centre, large enough that anyone who would want to would manage to hide themselves behind it if they were fairly close. While spreading it so large did impact the density, he infused the minerals from the ground into the sand, giving it a more metallic endurance. He wouldn’t see the blast of flames coming towards them. He made sure the wall would cover the wounded and the medics, and made it large enough for the other to hide behind it if they so wished. He simply stood there bracing himself for the impact, preparing to try and mend the wall as the attack barged on it. He wanted to do so much, try and talk with the people, gather what they know about him, formulate a plan…but right not he hoped this line of defense would be good for something.
Earthslide Wall wrote:
A Jutsu which conjures up a large, sturdy wall built of all types of compressed earth to shield the user or their allies from harm. The wall is incredibly resilient to attacks and makes for an excellent defense, and may be spread to create a much longer wall to surround a wider area at the cost of weakening its density.

Information
Prerequisites: - A-rank, 7 mastered Earth Jutsu

Master: Creates a barrier with 4950 Hp. Attacks to this barrier have a 36% chance of activating the 'Density' effect.

Special Action: By paying +10% Cp, the user may have this Jutsu protect an additional target at the cost of lowering the barrier's Hp by -10%. This may be done twice. (Doing so twice)
Notes:
- Lasts up to three rounds or until destroyed
- Barrier Hp may be increased with Earth buffs
- Defends against physical, non-elemental, and elemental attacks
- Those protected by this barrier cannot use melee accuracy without sacrificing this Jutsus protection
- The 'Density' effect lowers all damage taken by half. This overwrites any other DR. This does not apply to Lightning-based damage.

Iron Sand - Activated Passive
Over time, the Sunaku's control over sand begins to expand with the deepening of their affinity. At some point in their life, they begin to substitute finely crushed minerals in place of sand, grinding the hardest metals they can find into flakes of powder. Sunaku are able to manipulate this Iron Sand just as they could normal sand, though this heavier metal is a bit more difficult to control, though gives all their techniques significantly more strength.

Rank 3: The user may choose to use "Iron Sand" for their Sand Ninjutsu. Iron Sand Jutsu may inflict any level of bleeding with a +5% chance of bleeding, and they gain +10% damage, but lose -1 accuracy due to the added weight.

The way I envisioned it it would over the side with Muzai/Oba in it, and going as far to the other side that anyone in close vacinity of the wall would hide behind it if they so wished, forming a sort of cone around the Djiin. If something is wrong with how I envisioned it please let me know

It was a strong steel clone that pulled Kagai away from the danger. The Medical Ward slowly healing him as it pulled him away to a safer place away from the fire. Setting him down in the warm grass and sitting beside him like a rescue dog. Just sitting there as though it was ready to protect him at all costs, like a body guard--but more useless. It was all in vain, really, it sitting there to protect him. The best it could do is get in the way of attacks.

Meanwhile, Kinnaku pulled her to her feet, reassuring her. Muzai's body shaking from the weakness in her body and the loss of chakra. Her body trying to regain it's strength to continue it's healing as she stared at the people before her. She was watching Suna fall and she couldn't do much about it. Attack after attack after attack--and nothing was working. They were useless creatures in this game they couldn't beat.

It was like they were spinning around in endless circles. They kept swinging their arms, but they never stopped spinning. They just kept going around and around, and they weren't able to grab ahold of anything. A nonstop cycle of confusion and headaches...

"You're healing the sick?"

An impeccable force fell upon her shoulder as Muzai's eyes widened and she sucked in a gasp of pain. Her body being forced to the ground as her malnourished body shattered under the weight of the Djinn. His chin crushing the bones in her shoulder as she let out a squeak of unbearable pain as her body shook and he finished his speech--not that she heard it. Oh, no, there was too much pain.

As he left, Muzai's body fell face first into the artificial grass, suddenly coughing from the relief on her legs as she gaged on her own cough and her body shook with shock. Her arm hanging limp by her body as she let out a pitiful scream, her bloodshot blue eyes wild with panic. Her left hand cradling her right triceps, as though the nurturing touch would heal it.

She rolled onto her back, tears falling from her eyes as she stared up at the ceiling of the cave. The darkness overwhelming as she cradled her arm, her mouth agap and squeaking as her body entered a state of shock. She didn't have enough chakra to heal herself, and her body continued to quake as her eyes stared widely upwards. Her breath uneven as her heart raced dangerously wild.

And her body would begin to shut down.

[OOC: NOTES]

Wow. So much shorter this time. No jutsu used. Kagai, feel free to RP the steel clone to your will. If you have any more questions about it's abilities see the jutsu note I posted when I casted it, or PM me.

The proud Satsumaru was understandably irritated at being thrown aside like some unwanted doll, especially after he had attempted to be civil with the monster. It was old, obviously...old enough to be fluent in Runic Terran as an outsider to the village. Even through the searing pain, Satsumaru understood what the Djinn intended. He had said it plainly enough, after all. The demon viewed Sunagakure as the source of a plague; the shinobi in general being that plague. While he couldn't understand why at the moment, it was enough to know the what. This thing meant to obliterate all within the village.

More importantly at the moment, he intended to kill Satsumaru by hurling him into an oncoming attack. Performing a few quick handseals in mid-air, the Uchiha stared at the coming jutsu until it impacted with him. Although, it wasn't him. Using the Dark Displacement jutsu, he had merged with the shadow, leaving nothing but wisps in the wake of the attack and allowing Satsumaru to emerge safely from the shadows nearby. The long-haired Uchiha was glad of his affinity for the Shadow once more in his life, and the myriad jutsu it allowed him.

In the face of the impending blast that the reappeared Djinn forced outward, the Flame Shield jutsu was all Satsumaru could do to defend himself. He performed a quick series of handseals and forced chakra to spiral around him, igniting into a wall of hellish flames. The concentrated nature of the chakra-based flames provided a shield around the Uchiha, absorbing and deflecting the blast.

Of course, he had another option, but it was far too costly and far too reckless this early into the encounter. This thing claimed to be a god, but Satsumaru - through the mastery of his Uchiha blood - had a god of his own to call upon. Not now, however...not now. Now, he needed only to withstand the blast and see if the group could reorganize and form a strategy. This thing was beyond frontal assaults or conventional attacks. Another plan was required...

[Actions: Satsumaru uses Dark Displacement to avoid being hit by the oncoming jutsu, then Flame Shield to protect himself against the Djinn's blast. After that, provided it goes as planned, he'll wait to see if any of the higher-ups organize a plan.]

Dark Displacement said:
A technique in which the user merges with the shadows around them to seemingly vanish into nothingness. Striking the user of this jutsu cuts through only wispy shades of darkness shaped in the likeness of the user. However, merging with shadows requires a short time to set up, making a quick preparation vital to pulling this off correctly.

Information
Prerequisites: A-rank, 7 mastered fire jutsu

Rank 2: Summons a wall of fire that erupts from the ground, absorbing up to 6050 damage. Attacking this barrier has a 36% chance of causing the 'Sear' and 'Burn' effect.

Rank 1 Cost: 2200 Cp
Rank 2 Cost: 2750 Cp

Notes:
- This jutsu must be used reflexively. This jutsu only lasts for one action.
- Can defend against a single physical, non elemental or elemental attack.
- Attacking this barrier with melee accuracy deals 20% backlash damage to the attacker.
- This jutsu does not protect against Level A+ Water damage. Lower levels deal +20% damage to this barrier.
- When 'Seared' the target has a 10% chance of taking critical damage to the next attack to hit them. If this is not successful, then they only take +10% damage from the attack. This does not stack.
- The 'Burn' effect causes the target to take +5% damage for a full round. 'Burn' stacks up to three times.

Sharingan Kuro deactivated the flames of Amaterasu that were swept over his Demon body's frame. His distraction had not panned out well but he had gotten his attention ever so briefly. Kuro sat up his body in a state of misery but his mind clear. This creature from its actions had split personalities, earth & fire chakra control and a field of mental chakra pressure around his physical body. Not even Amaterasu could ignite its flesh, all was not hopeless. Kuro had indeed taken quite a beating but he had learned a few things as well. This creature was drawing upon ambient energy to sustain its massive energy levels. His Sharingan body had finally analyzed that much, it completely denied physical chakra attacks, its mind was fractured so genjutsu would not work. Sharingan Kuro landed next to Sousuke while Demon Kuro played injured in order to be ready to act upon Djinn when the time was right, otherwise he simply allowed his sealed demon Hyakujuuonouu to keep healing him and two other people with sever injuries.

"Sousuke-san, this thing is absorbing chakra from ambient sources, if we can place a couple of seals upon him, he might become manageable by our entire village, as he is now he really is a god, that rasengan attack was strong enough to level a building and he simply slapped it aside. Genjutsu won't work and physical contact costs everyone a bit of their sanity. I have one more or two more aces up my sleeve as it were and I want to place a five five element seals upon this bastard and cut off his link to ambient chakra. Teamwork even against this creature should allow it."

Kinnaku couldn't have reacted to the Djinn's force; absolutely not. However, as her body lay in the small crater she would ache with pain. It felt like childbirth all through her body - which wasn't the most pleasant of sensations. Although she was prepared for such an attack, by placing a medical ward on her own self and keeping it active at all times, it would activate upon contact with the Djinn and reduce some of the damage that she received. Although, not by a lot...

It was so obvious, so clear, nobody was working together. The other Sennin and Kage were willy-nily attacking, even going so far as to attack while little Okibi was caught in the updraft. Oba would turn her stomach as she watched the series of events unfold, dishearten due to their lack of teamwork and quality of combination attacks. Why were they only communicating among themselves? They had subordinates that were placed all around, they needed to work together; not act on their own, with their individual plans and with their individual powers. The Sennin would release a spore of Kikai from her body, and these creatures would separate and displace themselves with the other shinobi.

Oba would lift herself out from the crater, a black runic pattern covered her flesh, and reached up to her neck like barbed wire. The black lines were tittering with a gentle glow, a soft illumination of power that continually healed her body and its organs: the was the Medical Ward. She would turn and set her black hues on the sight of a broken woman, her own medical shinobi. Kinnaku would hastily move, although with a limp, over to the broken Muzai who lay on the ground so limply. "Muzai!" She would fall to her knees and proceed to use Mystical Force, while drawing out more of her chakra, and applying more strength to the technique. The training kicked in, all of those years, they amounted to a moment where her skills as a Sennin would be put to the test. Kinnaku would place one hand onto the damaged area, a sharp pain would be notable for Muzai, but that was just the chakra-injection of the Tranquilize technique. It would numb the pain dramatically. Additionally, she would (if allowed) forcibly move the bone back into place and administer another technique called Skeletal Fortification. This technique would act as a fast-acting, calcium enriched, syrum that would latch itself onto the the skeletal figure and mold itself together with the existing bones.

It would strengthen her shoulder to the point where it could be used, but a fracture line would still exist. "Don't draw attention to yourself... Do not follow what the other Sennin ask of you. They are blinded by rage and it will be their downfall. You have to think level-headily, use your head and do not rush in. I will not lose another medical shinobi because of their foolishness!" Kinnaku would place her hands on Muzai's cheek, smiling softly with a notable redness in her eye. The Sennin was angry at those she shared the title with. She would turn her head, people were preparing defensive techniques - her Kikai giggled at their enveloping chakras. It would be obvious that the Djinn was going to unleash another attack, something much more stronger than the previous ones.

And look at that... Kuro wasn't even placing an order out. "Everyone," She would exclaim, "Prepare a defensive technique now!"

Oba's eyes would scan closer to the time, looking out for people that weren't physically able to hold out against the blast, or who weren't in the position to face against it. There wouldn't be enough time to react, no, the massive shock wave of fire and energy swept toward them as a pillar of fire stormed in a circular motion; destroying countless homes and districts. She would slam her hands into the ground and activate a technique, "Loose Leaf Wall!" She would keep her hands stationary on the ground as the earth before her uplifted and changed properties, it changed into thousands of sheets of paper. Hopefully this would be enough of a defense to defend against the fires, and protect some of the other people. Surely this technique in combination with Haru's Earth Style was going to be enough.

Earlier....

His and Mugens attack had been a complete fail, as this man who had summoned the giant earthen hand to devastate the caduceus tower. Sadly the two young shinobi's plan had been squashed like an insect, and the building that acted as a medical center was soon destroyed beyond any repair that they could perform.

And shortly after that, once their attempt at saving lives had been noticed, the large strange creature that resembled a fairy tale genie attacked them both. The speed and ferocity of this Djinn creature was beyond what Darasu had thought was attainable in the lifetime of a shinobi, and was quickly thrown into the sands...

Now

Shaking his head back and forth, Darasu found himself being lifted up by his ANBU captain beside Mugen, who's face was quickly covered with the mask of his AiT partner Sliver. This revealed that the two had been working together all along, but in reality Darasu knew this because of Mugen's unique chakra signature, which he had identified both inside and outside of missions countless times. He just wasn't sure of his friend had known this.

Osiris then gave them a mission to find their other ANBU team mates, and to conceal himself as one of their kin. It was true, the village had been running around rampantly up to this point in chaos trying to tame this wicked beast of the sand. And nothing seemed to be working.

"Right, go find Elfin and return her here. " he said while performing a handseal, which would then transform his entire attire to the wolf mask and ANBU clothing. "Right away" He said nodding to both the captain and his friend. "Good luck Mugen." He said to the AiT next to him known as Sliver. It may have been a breaking of the code to address an anbu by their true name, but Mugen would always be a friend to him before he was a comrade.

Turning on heel, he would dash off through the destroyed section of the district, moving between buildings and rubble. Occasionally he passed another shinobi, but he knew what Elfin looked like. She had a mask similar to his own, and had a female voice.

It was only once he passed a small crater that he found her by chance, laying down in the dirt with a wound to her torso. "Elfin!" He said jumping to her assistance. He didn't know any medical jutsu, so all he could do was offer her a hand from the impact her body had created.

"Osiris has given me an order to come find you. The ANBU of the village are the sole defense against this douche bag, and we gotta work together." Darasu said while offering her a hand. Of course, he wasn't a true ANBU yet, but hopefully soon he would be recognized as an equal. Once he had helped this sister from the crater, he would help her return to the meeting point as directed by their captain.

A Sennin is a leader with a title, and if they didn't lead then they were merely a title. In the absence of leadership, chaos reigns supreme. This was a very simple notion, even a young shinobi like Roku understood the principle behind it. It seemed, however, that those placed above him in rank seemed to miss the point. Roku was a first responder, it was up to him and the other ANBU to make difficult assessments and judgements during the early stages of a conflict. Knowing that the Main Branch Sennin was preoccupied, and not being informed that the ANBU Sennin was even at the scene, he made a decision to save a life. It seemed this decision offended a 'superior', one whom found more use in clogging up the radio lines to reassert already established thoughts or thump his chest so his 'underlings' knew their place. What a shame. During this valuable time so many other things could have been accomplished; utilizing his title of a leader of the corps to provide further insight, prepare a command to benefit them... hell it would have been nice to have heard something from their one captain. Instead, there was silence so Roku did the one thing that no one else had done this entire situation; gave a command. Leadership, hopefully, would be further clarified to all those within Suna following this conflict, should any of them survive, making mention that a leader isn't based on title but on the ability to react in a time of crisis.

Roku muted his head set, not wanting to cloud up all the precious commands coming in at the moment with his status reports and ability to respond to questions. No, now wasn't the time for foolishness like that. His eyes would turn to Elfin, "We should try to get a hold of Plague and get on a private frequency between us to communicate actual messages." Within the moment following that statement there would be a quick series of actions before the big finale of this monstrous entity before them. Within a blink of an eye a tower of flame would shoot up into the sky, connecting with the ceiling of the village. This force would cause a tremor to occur above them, followed by a rain of earth and flame. Wrapping his arms around the body of Elfin Roku would attempt to carry her towards the individuals that seemed to be uniting to create a barrier above them to provide protection from the rain of debris. If he was successful the two of them would be sitting under the two barriers as one of the AiT would approach Elfin requesting her to follow him as the Captain was requesting the ANBU to join up. This would mean that he too was probably needed as well. He would ready himself waiting for where Sliver and Elfin may go next. If, however, she declined his intentions to carry her he would still go to the intended location and would begin to surmise his own strategy.

OOC:
Actions: Self musing about the circumstances that have played out and the some socializing with Elfin. Attempted to take her with me to Harupia and Kinnaku's two defensive moves.

Everything was in a daze. Sounds were muffled. Her sight blurring in her peripheral vision. Her entire body felt broken, numb, but worst of all was the ringing and pain within her head where the dijinn assaulted her with a telekinetic blast. She tried to assess the damage but thought increased the pounding within her skull. A faint voice rattled her migraine even more. The voice of a child perhaps. Something about a doctor? For a brief moment she felt the pain lift away only to be consumed by darkness.

The passed out ANBU was now somewhat healed from Muzai, laying limp within the crater of her impact. Many voices sounded over her head set to deaf ears. It would also appear that Kuro, the Sennin, had summoned some sort of jutsu to help heals those who had fallen, Kumiko being one of those. By the time she awoke she'd be good as new.

As consciousness slowly restored itself she didn't feel broken any longer. In fact she felt...warm...safe..and in the strong grasp of a man's arms? From behind her ANBU mask onyx orbs would burst open, unknowing of the situation about her. A voice, a vaguely familiar voice, was speaking to her? It sounded like Titan. Before being able to react he was moving fast followed by an earth shattering explosion, shaking the very foundations of Sunagkure's caverns. Looking up she found herself under a barrier protecting herself, Titan, and AIT, and a few other people Elfin couldn't recognize at first. " What is the situation....I must have passed out from my head injury..." She quickly spoke, disengaging from the hold Titan had about her, and finding her footing easier than she thought. Only realizing now she had been completely healed and her sharingan had deactivated when she lost consciousness.

It would also appear their captain had sent the AIT to find her, albeit in a rather unprofessional manner. She nodded her black haired head, knowing this to be a good idea. " We should regroup...maybe making an offensive attack together we can take him down. " Yet it felt as though the entire cavern was raining down upon them. With that said the three ANBU would take off as one unit. In the process Elfin would tune her Headset onto Plagues channel. " Elfin to Plague. Rendezvous at Osiris's coordinates to regroup. " She'd hope he was able to sense their captains chakra. Before long the three ANBU landed on the rooftop their Captain occupied.

OOC: Pretty much fulled healed, thanks to kuro and Muzai, woke up to destruction, and heading towards Osiris with Titan and silver. As long as they don't mind me posting that they followed with me.
