Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

- I never got to choose my free ability for Uchiha, was wondering if I could make that Shinobi 101 Fire uses Gen DC.

Junko feet crunched in the snow with each step through Lightning country's treacherous mountain paths. Traveling behind the sennin, was Kiri. Trooping along, the lad was beginning to feel the toll of the journey on his body as he was breathing heavily. Behind Kiri, was one of Junko's many paths watching their flank. "We'll rest in this are and find shelter." Junko said coming to a stop. "I'll use this body to find food. Stay with my other body and we'll find shelter." Junko throwing up the peace sign as he began walking away.

The snow and wind made it hard for the sennin to smoke. His fingers were cold. His feet were cold. His ears were cold. Everything was cold, but he didn't complain. Just as he did with Daisuke when he was in Kiris shoes, he focused on simply getting through the night. The only difference was, Junko was now the sensei. So, he had to make sure to get through this night and every other night. So, food needed to be tracked down.

Coming to a halt, growls were heard. "Sounds like dinner." Junko said as a family of full grown bears revealed themselves from out the snowy forest. "Saved me the trouble of tracking you all." Junko said bluntly as he raised a brow. "Five bears. Maybe I can test a few things out." Junko thought as the bears stood to makes themselves seem enormous. Any regular man would run, a survivalist would make himself seem as big as possible as well, but Junko was a shinobi. So, that meant training time.

As the bears dashed towards him, Junko began a serious of advance handsigns. Ending with a simple base hand sign, a horizontal line of chakra bursted in the snow across the ground. "Barrier Jutsu!" Junko thought beginning to add a few ending handsigns into the non-elemental chakra affinity that he never did before. As a result, his control increased tremendously allowing him to use less chakra as the thick barrier instantly rose, separating Junko from the bears.

Clashing with the barrier like dumb kids running into a wall, Junko smirked as the bears began to shake their heads in frustration and anger. Making themselves seem big again, they began clawing at Junko's Barrier. One strike after another, Junko simply examined the strength of his jutsu. "It's holding up well." Junko thought realizing that he had truly mastered barrier Justus. Clapping his hands together as if he was about to pray, two paths were summoned.

Using his spiritualist path, Junko entered into his new defensive stance and began a series of hand signs. In addition, Junko used his earth born path and began a series of hand signs as well. Vines began to sprout from the ground, entangling the bears in a fierce bind. Meanwhile, Junko's earthborn paths executed a genjutsu as accurate as its ninjutsu, causing the bears ears to ring, sending shocks through their nervous system. A small amount of blood poured from their ears as they went deaf. The method of doing techniques were practical shinobi 101 basics that he also utilized with his Uchiha and Chakra Attuned path.

As the big bears attempted to break free from Junko's grasp, panic entered their hearts. They could hear nothing, couldn't move, and now Junko seemed like the big one ready to claw at them. Unfortunately, Junko had to slay them all. Their deaths would provide Junko and Kiri with full bellies. Perhaps if they were a contract of some sort, things could've been different.

Black Lightning began to trickle in the sennins hand, as the sound of chirping birds accumulated. Beginning to step towards the barrier with a mastered chidori in his grasp, the barrier began to fall. Stepping face to face with the bound bears, Junko drew his hand back. "Dinner time...." Junko said before thrusting his hand forward and painting the snow in blood.

Moments later, Kiri would find Junko's main body return with several bloody scrolls in hand. Of course the lad asked "What's up with the scrolls?" And Junko responded...."Dinner." maneuvering into the found cave, a fire was already prepared, blankets were already set, and water was already fetched. "Let's eat." Junko said before placing a hand on Kiris head.

Using his Hashigaki path, Junko trained with Kiri through the forest of the leaf village. The young lad was blind folded, only having his ears to rely on as he sparred against the medical sennin. They had done this exercise many of times. It forced the young medic in training to rely on his own skill set instead of the demon inside. He had to hear, feel, and smell his opponent instead of rely on the sense that could deceive him the most.

Kiri likely didn't even notice it, but his weak body was actually becoming stronger. He was putting on a little size, reacting faster, could take a few hits, and was honestly becoming tougher. Soon enough, he'd begin to cry less, talk less, and be the young man he needed to be to be a splendid shinobi of Kumogakure.

Back peddling through the forest as Kiri pressed forward attempting to land a strike with his blade, Junko could hear the heart of the boy thumping vigorously, his breathing becoming heavier, and read every swing as his blade cut through the air. Meanwhile, Junko was simply whistling a song the entire time as if he was barely trying. Little did Kiri know, he was affected by a genjutsu that was weighing down his entire body. It was getting harder and harder to swing or dodge as If Junko turned up the gravity fourty times the normal weight again.

Making a quick shift of his feet, Junko moved out of the way as he almost back peddled into a tree. Unfortunately, Kiri didn't have that same quickness in reaction due to the Genjutsu placed upon him and actually ran into the tree. Smirking, Junko could hear as the boy fell, but was slowly picking himself up. Now, it was time for Junko to make his move and put the lad on his butt for the day. Due to his martial art skills, Junko was already in a chakra style that would allow him to become even more lethal in his Genjutsu. In addition, Junko entered a physical style.

As a strategist, Junko's victory was already mapped out and he simply needed to execute his tai jutsu maneuvers as accurate as his Genjutsu. As Kiri had finally stood, he the two was ready. "When going against opponents you know is stronger than you. Brute strength will never work. You should know that as well as I do, based off the report at the gates. It'll take way more than that demon power." Junko said hearing the boys teeth rub together in slight frustration.
"You'll have to relax, think, and use all the resources you have to defeat your enemy." Junko said with a nod.

As Junko's palms began to flow and vibrate using the vibrating fist technique, Junko moved in, charging the young demon boy head on. As accurate as his Genjutsu, Junko simply touched Kiri twice. Simple taps to say the least, but vibrations were sent through his body simultaneously. As his body would shake uncontrollably as he fell to his knees, Junko chuckled a bit. His body was already weighing a ton and now he would barely be able to move an inch as his entire nervous system was shaken up. "Something so simple, can help you so much in a fight." Junko said picking the boy up and putting over his shoulder. Stopping the Genjutsu, Junko began making their way back to their camp.

"Kiri, my son. You have much to learn. You and Hoshi. Remember, you'll never be to old to learn. That means yes, even old dogs can learn new tricks." Junko said as he walked and laugh. Realizing Kiri wasn't laughing or talking, Junko realized the boy was sound asleep as small snores could be heard. "Sleep well. You'll need it for tomorrow." Junko said upon reaching the camp. Placing the lad against the base of a near tree, Junko placed a hand on his head.

"It was kinda no fair I used that on the boy. I'm recently mastering that myself." Junko thought as his hand on the boys head began to illuminate with a green glow. In a matter of seconds, the green aura began to engulf Kiris body. The cuts on his face, arms, legs, and hands began to heal as steam came from the cuts. Bruises upon the lads body began to vanish and he slightly squinted in pain in his sleep. As Kiri was healed, Junko removed his hand and moved to the other side of the tree. It had been a long day indeed. So long, even the sennin himself needed to catch up on sleep. Yawning, Junko closed his little eyes and in a matter of moments, he was nodding off to sleep. knocked out as the camp fires flames danced to give them warmth, the two would dream glorious dreams.

Mangekyo Sharingan
Mangekyou Sharingan - Activated Passive
The Mangekyou Sharingan is a heightened form of Sharingan, and is distinguished from a normal Sharingan through its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe. The appearance of the mangekyou differs from user to user based upon their own traits, there are hardly ever two Uchiha with the same pattern. In this stage the Sharingan is far more powerful and has the potential to utilize very powerful techniques, although the sheer amount of chakra utilized can have damaging backlash upon the User's eyesight, slowly deteriorating their Vision.

Tsukiyomi - Doujutsu Genjutsu
Utilizes the Mangekyou sharingan to create a hellish genjutsu of which the user has complete control. This technique is feared and believed the most powerful Genjutsu, and can last anywhere from 24 to 72 hours in the targets mind, but in reality only lasts a couple seconds. While powerful, this technique causes immense strain upon the user's eye's and leaves them vulnerable by damaging their eyesight, and cannot be used without resting the eye's first.

Rank 1: An illusion that creates a round within a round during which the victim cannot take any actions and suffers -2 dodge. In the illusion, the user gets AP equal to their AP/1.5. When the illusion ends the user will have only spent chakra equal to 50% of the chakra spent in the illusion and the victim only takes damage equal to 50% of the damage dealt to them in the illusion.
Rank 2: An illusion that creates a round within a round during which the victim cannot take any actions and suffers -3 dodge. In the illusion, the user gets AP equal to their AP/1.5 +.5. When the illusion ends the user will have only spent chakra equal to 50% of the chakra spent in the illusion and the victim only takes damage equal to 60% of the damage dealt to them in the illusion.
Rank 3: An illusion that creates a round within a round during which the victim cannot take any actions and suffers -4 dodge. In the illusion, the user gets AP equal to their AP/1.5 +1. The Sharingan's ability to induce illusions into the minds of others is a powerful one, that the Uchiha can learn to overcome the mind and senses of another, subtly altering their mind to put them under a powerful hypnosis, an issuing them commands without the victim even second guessing their own manipulated thoughts.

Rank 1: Allows the Uchiha to hypnotize their target at -2 Gen DC, causing them to either attack a target with a level 1-4 Jutsu, Use/Drop/equip/unequip an item, Switch/Drop/Enter a style, or remain motionless for 1 Ap.
Rank 2: Allows the Uchiha to hypnotize their target at -1 Gen DC, causing them to either attack a target with a level 1-5 Jutsu, Use/Drop/equip/unequip an item, Switch/Drop/Enter a style, or remain motionless for 1.5 Ap.

Quicksilver Step - Space/Time Technique
Taking their ability to ignore the boundaries of what is possible and impossible to the literal translation, the Seikon member steps through reality itself and appears somewhere else to strike while avoiding attacks with ease.

Rank 1: The user warps next to one opponent within 10 feet. The user's next melee attack gains +1 Accuracy, and has a 5% chance of being treated as a Sneak Attack.
Rank 2: The user warps next to one opponent within 20 feet. The user's next melee attack gains +1.5 Accuracy, and has a 10% chance of being treated as a Sneak Attack.
Rank 3: The user warps next to one opponent within 30 feet. The user's next melee attack gains +2 Accuracy, and has a 15% chance of being treated as a Sneak Attack.

Special Action: For 1 AP, quicksilver step may be used in the same way as Body Switch. This may only be done once per round, and the user gains all penalties associated with it. This is an activated Auto-dodge.

This technique utilizes the Seikon's powers to vanish and reappear nearby an opponent, striking them from a random direction before warping at blinding speed to another position for another strike, repeating this process multiple times and causing the victim to feel as if they are being surrounded by multiple foes.

A Steadfast who learns this particular ability is able to tap into a great reservoir of inner resolve, temporarily becoming able to suffer huge amounts of damage without incurring any serious harm to themselves by taking an absolutely defensive stance.
Effect: For one round, the user reduces all damage against themselves by 75% but cannot attack in that round. Usable only once per combat. Does not take any more Damage reduction buffs. If the user is not hit during the round this is used, it will not count as being used.

Dark shinobi are cunning by nature, and often cannot help but enjoy catching their prey off guard. To let ones guard down around them is to give them demon an open invitation for all kinds of defilement.

The order does not matter, but the follow-up Jutsu will target all those hit by the preceding Jutsu, and cannot be a higher rank than the Jutsu used prior to it. Cannot combo a Taijutsu with a Taijutsu, or Genjutsu with Genjutsu. May be used every other round.

Temporal Strider
Renewal
Independent Special Move (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up.
Sometimes, the Strider does not like what the last few seconds did to them. So they undo it, at least for themselves and whatever hit them. It can be quite the baffling sight to those unsure what just happened.
Effect: Negates the effects of the last jutsu to hit the user. This includes all damage, debuffs, bleed increase, chakra loss, bindings, poisoning, and sealing. Can only be used three times per battle.

Hasted Steps
Chakra Style (2 points)
The term "speed kills" is the mission statement of the Temporal Strider. By increasing their chakra output, they can cause all of their actions to quicken.
Effect: While in this style up to two actions per round may be "accelerated" for no additional cost. An "accelerated" attack is modded as being 1 AP faster than it's base AP cost. All jutsu cast by the user cost 5% additional CP.
Note: "Acceleration" may be applied twice to a single attack to cause it to be modded as being 2 AP faster but this spends both of the user's "accelerated" actions for the round.

Temporal Step
Independent Special Move (3 points)
Restriction- C Rank and up
The Strider possesses the skills to not only look through time, but to temporarily step out of it as well, rendering them resistant to most normal forms of harm aimed at them and allowing them an unclouded perception on the battle they are in.
Effect: The user makes a step out of time for the duration of one round. During this round, the user cannot be affected by Genjutsu, and any Genjutsu which they are under are temporarily ignored for the duration, though are still active. They also gain 10% damage reduction against all Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, and cannot be KOed while out of time, though if they take sufficient damage they will be knocked out when they phase back into normal space-time. The Sharingan is a unique Eye condition occurring only to those with Uchiha blood. Rumor has it that these eyes stemmed from the Byakugan as a mutation, and they do have similar properties to back this theory up such as allowing the user to view chakra. The Sharingan allows the user to comprehend the attack of an opponent almost before the attacker knows what attack they are making, this is done through tracking their movements by studying their chakra. The user's proficiency with this ability is visible through the amount of Tomoe circling the pupil, and with more mastery, the user will unlock more and more of it's capabilities.

Mangekyo Sharingan

Mangekyou Sharingan - Activated Passive

The Mangekyou Sharingan is a heightened form of Sharingan, and is distinguished from a normal Sharingan through its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe. The appearance of the mangekyou differs from user to user based upon their own traits, there are hardly ever two Uchiha with the same pattern. In this stage the Sharingan is far more powerful and has the potential to utilize very powerful techniques, although the sheer amount of chakra utilized can have damaging backlash upon the User's eyesight, slowly deteriorating their Vision.



Rank 1: +2 Dodge, +2 Accuracy.

Rank 2: +2.5 Dodge, +2.5 Accuracy.

Tsukiyomi

Tsukiyomi - Doujutsu Genjutsu

Utilizes the Mangekyou sharingan to create a hellish genjutsu of which the user has complete control. This technique is feared and believed the most powerful Genjutsu, and can last anywhere from 24 to 72 hours in the targets mind, but in reality only lasts a couple seconds. While powerful, this technique causes immense strain upon the user's eye's and leaves them vulnerable by damaging their eyesight, and cannot be used without resting the eye's first.



Rank 1: An illusion that creates a round within a round during which the victim cannot take any actions and suffers -2 dodge. In the illusion, the user gets AP equal to their AP/1.5. When the illusion ends the user will have only spent chakra equal to 50% of the chakra spent in the illusion and the victim only takes damage equal to 50% of the damage dealt to them in the illusion.

Rank 2: An illusion that creates a round within a round during which the victim cannot take any actions and suffers -3 dodge. In the illusion, the user gets AP equal to their AP/1.5 +.5. When the illusion ends the user will have only spent chakra equal to 50% of the chakra spent in the illusion and the victim only takes damage equal to 60% of the damage dealt to them in the illusion.

Rank 3: An illusion that creates a round within a round during which the victim cannot take any actions and suffers -4 dodge. In the illusion, the user gets AP equal to their AP/1.5 +1. When the illusion ends the user will have only spent chakra equal to 50% of the chakra spent in the illusion and the victim only takes damage equal to 70% of the damage dealt to them in the illusion.

Insidious Gaze - Passive

Perhaps the most deadly of the well-known Uchiha abilities is a nameless genjutsu that they are capable of putting opponents under in order to alter their perceptions. In reality, this is simply the Uchiha's ability to utilize their genjutsu talents by simply gazing into the eye's of a victim with their hypnotic sharingan, casting an illusion upon those who meet their gaze.



Rank 1: Genjutsu may be cast through the Sharingan, requiring no handseals and gaining +1 DC

Rank 2: Genjutsu may be cast through the Sharingan, requiring no handseals and gaining +1.5 DC

Rank 3: Genjutsu may be cast through the Sharingan, requiring no handseals and gaining +2 DC

Obliterate Reality - Microscopic Alteration Ninjutsu

perhaps the most lethal skill that can be done by a Seikon, this technique focuses the attention the Seikon upon a single hapless target, and condenses their reality warping energy to literally shatter a portion of the victim's atomic structure. This skill cannot be seen as it takes effect on an microscopic level, though this causes catastrophic pain and suffering upon the unfortunate target as it destroys their very being from it's base.



Rank 1: Warps the atomic structure of a target, dealing 3170 Damage at +2 Accuracy. This damage cannot be reduced or blocked by any effect and immediately cancels any Damage Reduction/Barrier effects that the target may have enabled.

Rank 2: Warps the atomic structure of a target, dealing 3560 Damage at +2 Accuracy. This damage cannot be reduced or blocked by any effect and immediately cancels any Damage Reduction/Barrier effects that the target may have enabled.

Restriction- C Rank and up.

Sometimes, the Strider does not like what the last few seconds did to them. So they undo it, at least for themselves and whatever hit them. It can be quite the baffling sight to those unsure what just happened.

Effect: Negates the effects of the last jutsu to hit the user. This includes all damage, debuffs, bleed increase, chakra loss, bindings, poisoning, and sealing. Can only be used three times per battle.



Hasted Steps

Chakra Style (2 points)

The term "speed kills" is the mission statement of the Temporal Strider. By increasing their chakra output, they can cause all of their actions to quicken.

Effect: While in this style up to two actions per round may be "accelerated" for no additional cost. An "accelerated" attack is modded as being 1 AP faster than it's base AP cost. All jutsu cast by the user cost 5% additional CP.

Note: "Acceleration" may be applied twice to a single attack to cause it to be modded as being 2 AP faster but this spends both of the user's "accelerated" actions for the round.



Temporal Step

Independent Special Move (3 points)

Restriction- C Rank and up

The Strider possesses the skills to not only look through time, but to temporarily step out of it as well, rendering them resistant to most normal forms of harm aimed at them and allowing them an unclouded perception on the battle they are in.

Effect: The user makes a step out of time for the duration of one round. During this round, the user cannot be affected by Genjutsu, and any Genjutsu which they are under are temporarily ignored for the duration, though are still active. They also gain 10% damage reduction against all Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, and cannot be KOed while out of time, though if they take sufficient damage they will be knocked out when they phase back into normal space-time. Genjutsu cannot be cast in this state, however, and any Ninjutsu and Taijutsu cast require an additional 10% CP cost. This is treated as a free action and may be done every other round.

Just when enemies think they've got the Steadfast one down, when they've hit their limits and can’t fight any harder, that’s when it’s time to use the Second Wind. Due to training, those with Steadfast have amplified their natural ability to recover to extraordinary levels.

Effect: The user regains 20% max HP, and cancels all Bleeding. This is usable only once per combat.



Stand Fast - Independent Special Move (2 points)

Restriction- C Rank and up

A Steadfast who learns this particular ability is able to tap into a great reservoir of inner resolve, temporarily becoming able to suffer huge amounts of damage without incurring any serious harm to themselves by taking an absolutely defensive stance.

Effect: For one round, the user reduces all damage against themselves by 75% but cannot attack in that round. Usable only once per combat. Does not take any more Damage reduction buffs. If the user is not hit during the round this is used, it will not count as being used.



-Demonic Ancestry-

Devil's Trick - Dependent Special Move (3 points)

Dark shinobi are cunning by nature, and often cannot help but enjoy catching their prey off guard. To let ones guard down around them is to give them demon an open invitation for all kinds of defilement.

Effect: By paying +20% CP on both, the user may combo a Taijutsu and Genjutsu. The order does not matter, but the follow-up Jutsu will target all those hit by the preceding Jutsu, and cannot be a higher rank than the Jutsu used prior to it. Cannot combo a Taijutsu with a Taijutsu, or Genjutsu with Genjutsu. May be used every other round.

During this round, the user cannot be affected by Genjutsu, and any Genjutsu which they are under are temporarily ignored for the duration, though are still active. They also gain 10% damage reduction against all Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, and cannot be KOed while out of time, though if they take sufficient damage they will be knocked out when they phase back into normal space-time. Genjutsu cannot be cast in this state, however, and any Ninjutsu and Taijutsu cast require an additional 10% CP cost. This is treated as a free action and may be done every other round.

Time being like so much liquid to a Strider, then can easily throw their chakra forwards in it to form into its essence later--even controlling where and when it appears.

Effect: Any Ninjutsu can be cast into the future by up to three rounds (1 Round minimum), gaining a +3 accuracy bonus. Ninjutsu cast in this manner are modded at the beginning of the round they are cast into. This cannot be done more than once per round, and no more than two jutsu can be aimed at a single target this way at a time. (Added jutsu can be cast at the same target once previously cast jutsu have reappeared.)

Just when enemies think they've got the Steadfast one down, when they've hit their limits and can’t fight any harder, that’s when it’s time to use the Second Wind. Due to training, those with Steadfast have amplified their natural ability to recover to extraordinary levels.

Effect: The user regains 20% max HP, and cancels all Bleeding. This is usable only once per combat.



Stand Fast - Independent Special Move (2 points)

Restriction- C Rank and up

A Steadfast who learns this particular ability is able to tap into a great reservoir of inner resolve, temporarily becoming able to suffer huge amounts of damage without incurring any serious harm to themselves by taking an absolutely defensive stance.

Effect: For one round, the user reduces all damage against themselves by 75% but cannot attack in that round. Usable only once per combat. Does not take any more Damage reduction buffs. If the user is not hit during the round this is used, it will not count as being used.

Devil's Trick - Dependent Special Move (3 points)

Dark shinobi are cunning by nature, and often cannot help but enjoy catching their prey off guard. To let ones guard down around them is to give them demon an open invitation for all kinds of defilement.

Effect: By paying +20% CP on both, the user may combo a Taijutsu and Genjutsu. The order does not matter, but the follow-up Jutsu will target all those hit by the preceding Jutsu, and cannot be a higher rank than the Jutsu used prior to it. Cannot combo a Taijutsu with a Taijutsu, or Genjutsu with Genjutsu. May be used every other round.
