Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The Chronicles of Kyo-MoonRelated Information
1150 PM...[lb][/lb]
A man, masked in an ANBU mask and covered in the ANBU cloak could be seen waiting on the rooftops of one of the highrise buildings just over the target. He had sent an encrypted message, one containing a riddle of sorts (not written by himself, of course) stating that they were chosen to participate in their class due to their affinity for the shadowy arts and those that showed great aptitude to become ANBU. Unlike normal, Kyo (or better known as 'Hyungteo'/Scar as per his ANBU moniker). He gave the ANBU hopefuls a show-time of 1159 PM and expected them to be punctual -- at the very least on-time. [lb2][/lb2]
Hyungteo and his students are to move into position and eavesdrop on a particular individual. That information will come during Hyungteo's debrief of the children as well as granting them cloth masks to cover their identity. Hyungteo wasn't accompanied by the white wolf known as Dakota as her presence would easily be spotted and his identity would be easily given away. He really needs to get a mask and suit crafted specifically for her. As he waited for the students, a large gathering of men and women could be seen in the massive building just across the street from them. A large grouping of men wearing black, traditional garb could be seen walking ahead of an exquisitely decorated litter. The litter was decked in gold with classic-asian windows. Each of the handholds on the litter were decorated as black dragons, crafted by what appeared to be a dark wood. Everything about the on-coming litter screamed that the person inside was either rich or extremely important. [lb2][/lb2]
The litter seemed to be moving quite slowly, if the students arrived within the next couple minutes, they should be able to witness the target exiting the litter and into the massive estate that sat just across the street from Hyungteo's current location.

The shadow of nighttime stretched across the urban streets with only the starlight and the silvery glow of the moon comforting those seeking light from the blackness of the night. The darkness belonged to nocturnal creatures that prowled and stalked in the shadows and unsavory characters likely up to nefarious activities. The winds howled in the blackness, like a beast moaning and whispering in the ears of those traversing the urban streets, a fierce yet gentle gale as if warning those who dared walk into the darkness that danger lurked in its shadows. A metallic earthly scent filled the air, only slightly suppressed by the coldness that filled the dreaded night. On a lone building, a shadowy presence stood crouched, two sets of bestial eyes scouring the streets as if searching for prey. One set was fiery orange, slanted with a sense of longing as if searching for something in the blackened streets. Another were a pair of yellow golden orbs, beautiful if not terrifying as if one could get lost in them, the eyes of a predator. Upon closer inspection, it was a boy with what appeared to be a canine resting on his head.

Akira stood on top of the building with Kuro, his wolf companion resting on his head. His head was covered in a mask, one provided along with a letter that he had received earlier in the day. Discomforting as it was wearing the mask, he would have much preferred to wear his that hid his colored eyes efficiently, however he assumed this was the required attire for this particular training class as it was part of the materials sent to him. His bestial eyes were the only things visible, the mask effectively hiding his presence. He wore tactical clothing that seemed to match the urban setting colors without being visible in the night, allowing the boy to be obscured by blending in with not only the night but his surroundings, instead of just being plain black. Kuro the wolf pup was black in color, though Akira managed to dress the wolf in his own tactical attire with a mask obscuring its identity, though easy to tell it would be a canine of sorts, it would be harder to tell apart the canine if seen in broad daylight.

He had a difficult time decrypting the message, such tactics being unfamiliar to him as he was a nomad in nature and primarily accustomed to more stealthy physical actions rather than covert actions such as decryption. He was barely able to figure it out though after some time rattling his head with textbooks, not something the boy particularly enjoy as he wasn’t the most academically inclined. He sniffed the paper before memorizing its contents and memorizing the scent of the individual, an unfamiliar one though oddly familiar as it was bestial in nature, perhaps some other scent he couldn’t really recognize, though it smelled unpleasant and dark. He tracked the scent, leading him in the direction of what the contents of the message stated. He headed over to the coordinates specified in the letter.

Kuro stayed comfortably on Akira’s head, hardly moving no matter what acrobatic movements Akira skillfully performed as he headed to the meeting grounds. His steps were skillfully, being a nomad he had experience in keeping silent for various wild game hunts necessary in order to survive. He was young but not inexperienced, perhaps he would learn more effective methods as he was sure urban stealth was far different than stealth in the wild. He was willing to learn however, as long as it wasn’t a textbook he prayed. Reaching the rendezvous coordinates, he saw a cloaked man wearing a mask waiting on the rooftop. The scent was the same as the one who had sent the letter, this was the man who would be in charge of the class he thought. Looking down at the massive estate across the street, he witnessed the target exiting, as he remained quiet waiting for instructions. Was this the target he pondered? Albeit against his usual friendly nature, this seemed to be a covert mission of sorts and he wasn’t going to break silence by speaking unless required to, as such he did not introduce himself verbally. The instructor may know who he was regardless, there weren’t many of their kind around Kumogakure after all.

Confusion visible on his face, Doi was having a hard time making sense of the encrypted message he'd been given. The boy had awoken to a small paper wedged in the window of his room during the early morning. Someone was clearly making an attempt to contact him, but why'd they have to make the message a riddle? And a pretty hard one at that? The fact that he'd just woken up and was still drowsy only served to increase the difficulty tenfold. He really couldn't tell his right from his left at this point. This might've well have been Ancient Kaminari. "Hmmm..." He knew it definitely wasn't a mission summons. Debriefing summons had their own distinct look and were stamped with a specific seal. "Could it be a training session?" This was actually quite likely as his tutors usually sent out messages like these after all. Though most weren't this... difficult to understand.

Eventually, after thinking it over and analyzing the message word for word. Doi was able to figure out what the message's purpose was. He'd been chosen to partake in an ANBU class. A little surprised he'd been chosen, Doi nonetheless began to prepare in advance. The class wouldn't take place until late at night but he might as well prepare now.

Opening the door to his closet, he began by sealing the chokutō that was inside into the storage scroll that rested on his desk.

oOo

The designated meeting time was drawing near. Most of those who lived in the residential area had already long gone to sleep. Tired from their long days. Doi, of course, was still awake and alert. He'd slept more during the day after he'd gathered all his equipment. The green eyed boy was ready for whatever this class would entail. Exiting through the window of his room on the second floor and closing it behind him, Doi leapt onto the roof of his home. With the destination in mind, he began jumping from roof top to roof top as he made way for the rendezvous point.

oOo

Once the meeting point was in his sights, Doi immediately spotted the individuals who'd arrived before him. One was a cloaked figure who wore the standard Kumogakure ANBU mask. The other a small boy, visibly much younger than him, who was accompanied by a small wolf that comfortably rested on his head. They'd both been looking in the direction of the massive building adjacent to their own before Doi had gotten close enough to make himself known. The building itself was quite the marvel. Its architecture had a very unique aesthetic.

Undoubtedly, Doi assumed their objective had something to do with the building before them.

The moon shone in the sky, easily revealing the small boy, dressed in dark-blue garb, and with nothing else on, really. He yawned, being quite tired, and didn't have time to slack of earlier. Thinking about it, this was the first class that he's been in...He thought back to the story when which he was rescued. Maybe it had something to do with that? As to why he was in this class anyways. He leaned on a power-line stand while stand atop of the rooftop of a house that was inches away from the stand in itself. He wasn't serious about this, no. In fact he felt lazy, and looked at most things around him the same way that he felt. Lazy. He didn't want to move from his spot; He was leaning comfortably, and saw no reason to lave, but alas the class would seem to start around twenty minutes from then. Shiro looked once more at the letter he had received a day prior, although his procrastinating self only thought to look at it at the exact moment that night.

It was definitely confusing alright. Sure, in the past Shiro has encountered riddles like this before, but it always took some time at least. For now he was kind of glad that the long dead merchant whom took him in, wanted him in administrative work in the future. He took his time, looking for correlating words, as well as word-play at any point within the riddle. A couple of "Hmn..."'s, "Yeah..."'s, and "That looks about right..."'s filled the air around Shiro, thinking of ways to uncover the secretive message. "Man...I really should have looked at this yesterday..." Shiro would mutter to himself, frustrated a bit, before taking another look at the letter. "Hmn...That looks about right..." Shiro would mutter once more, though this time, looking up and scanning his surroundings for where the possible meeting place would be...

"There..." Shiro would exclaim to himself, using the riddle to find out the direction he should be heading towards. He slowly, but quietly walked along the roofs. He didn't quite feel like running to where he was supposed to be, so he just moved his feet as hi would on when going to the store, although this time, his footsteps would not be heard by the average man, or even a shinobi(A Poorly Trained One Anyway). Occasionally, he would yawn or stretch, while walking, clearly not a professional way of approaching the rendezvous mark, but hey, he's tired and feeling kind of lazy, and even at this point wondering why he still received the letter containing the riddle. (And Jumped From Building-To-Building Of Course...)

"This looks like a building description...or somewhat similar anyways..." Muttered Shiro to himself, seeing a fancy litter, decorated exquisitely, although too much of over-the-top-ness for Shiro. Definitely some rich person's house, or someone important...Maybe an official, or?...Either way, looks like the building that they're supposed to meet in... "And... some distance from the litter...Should be the rendezvous point...?" Shiro would mutter to himself, questioning the last part, unsure of what or where his riddle-solving skills has gotten him.

Finding nothing farther down in his vision, he decided to look up, searching for good vantage points, a place perfect for and saw a building, quite above where the fancy building was held in place. Shiro would climb to the top of the building, to find a masked ANBU agent and a boy with a...Wolf? Yes a wolf...Shiro was quite surprised at the wolf, although finding the ANBU agent here was no surprise to him. Even he understood that this would be one of the best vantage points, if not the best vantage points surrounding the "Targeted" building. Both were silent, so Shiro thought to at least to not wast his voice as well, only nodding once he had arrived and then proceeding to take a seat on the edge of the roof...

The new recruit a young boy with snow white hair came walking around a corner looking around to make sure that he had the place. It was actually by accident that he found out about the location of the class, having ignored the subtle riddle that was passed around his academy class. It wasn't until the student next to him made a particular fuss about how the whole thing didn't make sense that young Hiro would take a glance at it quietly jotting down some notes on what he believed the answer to be idly ignoring his lectures. If there was anything he liked more then daydreaming and traveling, it was mysteries and a secret location indicated by a riddle was enough to get him excited to see what all the hubbub was about. It was around 11:58 before the academy student arrived below the high rise that was indicated in the directions. "Thats really weird and here I thought that this was supposed to be the place where I was suppose to go. Maybe the whole thing was a sham to begin with. If that's the case then whoever made that dumb riddle has a lot of nerve getting me to come out here like this when I could be sleeping or something." The young man groaned as something told him to look upwards towards the roof to see the individual standing there atop the building before he face palmed audibly. "That's right, they are ninja, I completely forgot!" He groaned to himself as he looked around for a storm drain to begin his ascent up towards the top of the building to see what all the fuss was about. It would only take him a few seconds allowing him to get there mere seconds after the clock ticked 11:59.

The Chronicles of Kyo-MoonRelated Information
As the clock struck midnight, the time they were to arrive, all of the prospects had gathered. Good. None of them made too much noise and their approach towards the rendezvous was subtle; the way it should be. All except for one boy who sat at the edge of the roof, Kyo (or rather Hyungteo) waved him over. The boy lingering on the edge of the roof's profile was too easy to see. The objective is to not be seen or heard. Thankfully, the boy that walked up the storm-drain didn't make too much of a rattle; nothing more than the sound of a cat climbing up one. After their arrival, Kyo waved his hand to the others to gather. [lb2][/lb2]

After the group gathered around, he made an indication to raise their masks (or put it on) if they hadn't already. "I have gathered you all here today to teach you all a lesson in stealth and information gathering," he said in a hushed voice. He didn't want his voice to carry and have anyone with extremely good hearing to catch wind of what the group had planned. "This is an actual op. The target," Kyo said as he hooked his thumb behind him at the finally approached litter. At this time, the armed security started to scour the area for anyone approaching or nearby. Thankfully, due to their height, their existence remained undetected. [lb2][/lb2]
"The target behind us is named Zendo Kashi. He is a business-man rumored to deal in illegal weapons trades, illegal poison trades, and human trafficking," Kyo said before turning around and laid upon his belly and crawled up to the rim of the roof, poking his eyes over to get a glance at the man's residence. Strangely enough, this man was one of his neighbors, but that isn't something the children would know. "To the right is where his room is. He normally leaves the window open while he is at home, something about liking the cool air. Here in about 10 minutes, he will be receiving company from one of his business partners; Akabame Shinta. He, too, will be approaching in a decorated litter. We will wait for him to appear before making our move," Kyo explained, still in the hushed tones. [lb2][/lb2]
"He also has guards on full patrol around the building at all times. When we make our move, we need to disable all of the guards around the inner perimeter guarding the actual house itself. We can easily sneak around and avoid the guards blocking the house's wall. We have to disable ALL of the guards," he said emphasizing the word "ALL" so they understood. "Leave any of the guards conscious and one of the other guards will sound the alarm. There are 5 guards and there are 5 of us. We need to disable them at the exact same time. Once we do that, then we gather by that open window and listen to any intelligence that we can gather. We will only have 20 minutes once Shinta enters the house to execute this. Any mess-ups and we'll have to leave with what we've learned. Are there any questions?" Kyo asked, looking around at the group after pulling back from the building's edge, letting the curbed lip of the building provide cover for him.

Obviously, being as carefree as he was, Shiro just sat there before being waved over by the ANBU specialist. Shiro was just looking down, observing anything really...It had been almost two months since he had started living in Kumogakure, in an apartment complex gained when he was rescued from his old master. He still remembers the beatings that he incurred, the pain of the staffs, as well as whips at times. He always never showed emotions, Shiro was not one for emotions during the times of his enslavement, although during the past two months, he has learned how to expose himself a bit, to some Nin, specifically to some who remembered rescuing him, who for some reason would never utter a word about the day that he was rescued from the merchant's hideout.

Looking back, he saw the man wave at him, as to indicate to get to a close enough proximity from the man, probably going to explain something.

"I have gathered you all here today to teach you all a lesson in stealth and information gathering." Began the man. Shiro hadn't paid attention to the man's clothing since he had arrived, though there was very little to pay attention to. Nothing really stood out, and the only thing that really did stand out was the man's mask, and that was about it. "This is an actual op. The target...The target behind us is named Zendo Kashi. He is a business-man rumored to deal in illegal weapons trades, illegal poison trades, and human trafficking." Said the man, then piquing the interest of Shiro.

*Human Trafficking huh?* Shiro would begin to think. *Might be a little fun, gathering information on a possible slaver...That's probably how they found my old master...* Shiro would conclude, looking intently at the instructor debriefing them about the situation.

"To the right is where his room is...." The ANBU specialist would begin once more. He began to talk of the procedures or the plan for the "wire-tap" that they would do.

*Hmn...We're actually going to have to take out some people...Does this count as a mission? I doubt it...This is a class after all...But anyways,
so I'll be taking someone out, but we need to be precise about this...We need to get the jump on them at the exact same time...Might end up as a pain,
but right now...Just thinking about it...I can't help but get excited...
*

The man began to finish up, ending with the time-frame that they have and with a classic teacher line of "Are There Any Questions?". Shiro wanted to ask if this was counted as a mission, although deciding to hold it in, knowing that he could just be wasting his breath at something he can just ask once the "mission" was over. He may have been lazy, but at least he knew how the be quiet and efficient, when needed...

Hiro looked at the other people on the roof still not too sure about everything that was going on. Yes he was aware of the current position he was in as a student here in kumogakure training to become a shinobi, however this was a bit much for him at the current moment hearing about the nature of the lesson he had miraculously found himself in. "Whats this about a mask?" He thought to himself as he remembered a weird piece of cloth that was being passed around along with the riddle in his class. Face palming the young student noticed that he probably should have brought it with him shaking his head as he removed his under shirt before zipping up his winter coat. With a quick slice here and there with one of the kunai that he was granted from his stay at the academy Hiro managed to create a makeshift cloth mask for him to wear for the rest of the lesson. Now fully uniformed the young man sat quietly watching the instructor carefully as he explained the situation for them. Looking back at what he assumed were three other students Hiro took on a more serious disposition realizing just how interesting the class would be especially if they were actually about to bust some sort of illegal activity going on.

Hearing the entirety of the description of the plan Hiro looked back at the others to see how they were favoring with the nature of the lesson. Taking a guard out could mean a lot of things that the young academy student didn't want to think of, especially with the way Kumogakure had been teaching him recently at the academy, his attention was turned to the instructor as he motioned with his hands rather than asking his question vocally. He pointed downward at some of the patrolling guards before looking back up to Kyo and taking his thumb and slowly drawing it across his neck as if to ask whether or not he was asking the younger shinobi in training to kill the men down there. This was an important question seeing as how, a failed attempt at knocking a person unconscious could end up with one of them waking up later and ruining their whole operation. It wasn't explicitly stated what level of force they should be using in this operation and Hiro wanted to make sure that it was all cleared up before they jumped down and struck the guards to avoid any awkward situations. Either way Hiro held no quarrel with ending the lives of someone especially since he was already interested by the whole situation. Hopefully after they dispatched the guards he wouldn't have to be the one to actually have to gather the information as he was really worried that sneaking in there with his lack of any real knowledge in breaking and entering would end up with this whole lesson being in a bust, if he had to however he would,

On cue, Doi put on the cloth mask he'd received. Serpentine in nature, the mask's design felt quite fitting for some reason.

Ryong Kyo said:
"The target behind us is named Zendo Kashi. He is a business-man rumored to deal in illegal weapons trades, illegal poison trades, and human trafficking,"

It seemed like he'd once again be taking a dive into Kumo's dark side. Doi was becoming quite familiar in dealing with shady individuals. Human trafficking was a first, of course. Yet, he didn't allow himself to be too surprised. Things would only get worse once he'd step outside of the village someday. The world was a dangerous place afterall. Even more so for those who can't properly mold chakra or swing a blade around.

The name Zendo Kashi was one he'd heard his father bring up often during conversations with his business associates. This man was definitely a big shot with some sway in the shopping districts.

As their tutor further explained their objective, Doi laid down on his belly. He then began to crawl towards the edge of the building just like their tutor had. He wanted to get a better look at the house and figured this would be the best way to go about it. The purpose was to remain under the radar after all.

Ryong Kyo said:
"To the right is where his room is. He normally leaves the window open while he is at home, something about liking the cool air."

Doi found this prety interesting. Zendo must've been pretty confident no one would catch on to his dealings and sneak in. Nonetheless, he continued listening.

As it stood, the tutor explained that it wouldn't be long before Zendo's business partner Akabame Shinta would arrive. After which their operation would truly commence.

With guards fully patrolling the building, disabling the guards that kept watch over the house itself would be the first task. Five guards and each to be disabled at the same time. Each one of them would be taking a single guard in order to make this work. Doi had plenty of jutsu in his arsenal meant for disabling opponents. In reality, the only thing that might be troublesome will be getting into the right position.

Standing up from his prone position, Doi was now considering the positions of the five guards. Which one would be best for him to tackle?

The young wolf boys golden eyes watched the specified target as his instructor began briefing what appeared to be his fellow classmates and himself in the specified mission at hand. Placing both hands against the side of the building, he lowered himself into a fully prone position as the black pup on his head hardly moved, maintaining his balance quite skillfully on his head. As if synchronous to his Humans actions, his eyes seemed to follow Akira’s own, watching everything the boy watched with studious eyes, like animals stalking their prey in the dark shroud of the night. As the instructor explained the nefarious dealings of the subject at hand, Akira felt no remorse for the would be target as he seemed to be deserving of what was to come to him soon enough.

Listening carefully to the instructions stated by the ANBU, Akira looked around and began memorizing the scents of each guard intently. Akira himself was more akin to a wild animal than a Human being, his advantage being increased senses and a strong sense of smell on top of it all. Like many wild wolves, Akira and Kuro had developed the capacity to survive in inhospitable arctic conditions with months of perpetual darkness and bitter winds. Their sense of smell was one of their most remarkable traits, playing a key role in locating prey, other pack members, or enemies and letting them know when someone had passed into their territory. They each had numerous scent glands, allowing them a keen sense of smell for expert tracking for extremely long distances as well as having the ability to remember scents once familiar with it. They possessed acute hearing, able to hear extremely long distances and possessing the ability to hear at specialized frequencies far superior to human beings. If that wasn’t enough, their sense of sight allowed them much better night vision and the ability to detect the slightest movement in front of them, as such Akira and Kuro felt quite comfortable with the task at hand compared to normal Human beings.

Once he memorized each of the guard’s scents, he would be accurate when the time came to strike his target, allowing him accuracy in not screwing up which target it was that he would be assigned to. Five on five, they were students of Kumogakure, failure was not an option he sensed despite the ANBU’s explanation of the possibility. The boy went a step further in memorizing the scents of his teammates, they may have not seen his face but in future encounters he would know if they were in this task by scent alone. Perhaps if trouble came to the mission, he could also make sure to smell or listen if any issues arose between them and possibly aid them. After all, as one of the Inugami Clan with the bestial Inuzuka bloodline, it was natural for a wolf to take care of fellow pack members in his eyes. Keeping a prone position, he awaited for further instructions and assignment of which guard he would receive. He concentrated on his breathing, lowering his heart rate, not allowing his bestial blood lust to take over and alert those sensitive to it, keeping a calm and collected mind. A wolf stalking its prey and waiting for the right opportunity to sink its teeth into the prey.

The Chronicles of Kyo-MoonRelated Information
One of the young would-be shinobi made the neck-slicing gesture and Hyugteo shook his head. "No, we aren't going to be killing any of the guards. Most of them probably don't know what's going on so killing them would be needless," Hyungteo said before clearing his throat. "Once we begin the op, we will need to move silently and efficiently. Killing isn't efficient for the task right now and would only fuel sympathy for the target. Knocking them out would be much better. A kill will result in your failure and reporting to the authorities; so don't do anything stupid," Hyungteo said. Funny, coming from someone who relished at the idea of killing people; only if there was a good enough reason.[lb2][/lb2]
The rest of the students started to survey the surrounding for a brief moment before Hyugteo (Kyo) noticed something out of the corner of his eye. "Get down," he whispered as another litter started moving it's way down the road towards the target destination. This one was rather indescript being of a single color with no real identifying marks. Once the litter was placed down, the men holding the litter opened the doors to release a couple of scantilly clad women as well as a couple of young children before the target came out. The target was that of a small and shapely woman appearing in her early thirties. She wore flashy attire which left very little to the imagination; much more clothed than the naked women and humbly clothed children in her presence. She snapped her fingers and the group entered the house with the entourage of guards grabbing each of the 'hostages' by the arm and dragging them in. Hyungteo turned to look towards the students. "There's the second target. We're going to wait for them to enter before begin the operation," he said before exactly that happened. [lb2][/lb2]
"Begin the op. We're going to synchronize our take-down of the guards. Once that has been accomplished, hide the bodies somewhere. We will have 20 minutes before they awaken and shift-change so we need to get in, listen to the intel, and get out. Understand?" Kyo asked before looking at the children. "Begin silent, one-minute countdown in your head. Once we reach 60, take down your guard. We will be dispersing from here. Remain quiet and in the shadows," Kyo paused for a moment to give the kids time to collect themselves. "And mark," he then stated while starting to count to 60 in his head. Upon doing this, he descended from the building and made his way towards the furthest away target, remaining in the shadows, outside of the walls of the estate. As he walked along the outer walls, he kept count in his head. "27... 28... 29..." he thought to himself as he heard the footsteps and random bantering of one of the guards.[lb2][/lb2]
As the time drew near, giving Kyo only 10 seconds left before having to execute his knockout, he quietly jumped over the wall and crept behind the man, staying low to the ground. "59...60" he thought to himself before leaping up, placing a hand upon the man's mouth while placing his arm around his throat, putting the man into a blood choke. After a few seconds of flailing and attempting to make noise, the man's body went limp. He picked up his body and threw it over the wall that he jumped towards and started to make his way towards the rendezvous point near the opened window.

Only non-lethal methods to disable their targets allowed. This definitely wouldn't be a problem. Doi was prepared to accomplish his task in such a way from the start. He had yet to experience his first kill as a shinobi and wasn't looking forward to it happening any time soon. He'd hold that off until he was much older if he could. Or rather, he hoped he wouldn't have to kill anyone in the future at all. The boy was aware this was just wishful thinking, though.

Now considering the many ways he could go about his task, using some magnet release seemed like a good option. The simple use of a small magnet release technique focused on the head could effectively knock out a target. Or at least fiercely disorient them. It did carry a chance he'd accidently do some permanent damage to the brain, though. The same would've been true if he decided to use a regular lightning technique.

Now he just needed to choose which of the five targets he would go after.

Ryong Kyo said:
"Get down,"

Speedily doing as he instructed, Doi crouched low to make himself less visible. Watching as the litter pulled up to the side of the building. He saw a group of women and children exit the litter before one more woman would exit. This woman was actually well dressed compared to the rest. Doi figured she must've been important in some way. His thoughts were only confirmed when the guards immediately grabbed the other women and children with a single snap of her finger.

Ryong Kyo said:
"There's the second target. We're going to wait for them to enter before begin the operation.,"

Their tutor went on to explain that they on had 20 minutes after taking down their respective guards to gather the intel they needed before other guards would arrive to switch shifts.

Ryong Kyo said:

Once Doi saw the tutor take off, he himself discretely jumped from the roof. Mentally starting his own countdown as he did so. After attempting to remain in the shadows throughout the time he was in the air, he eventually landed on the floor as softly as he could. A difficult task considering the height from which he jumped. There was, nevertheless, a very audible noise when his feet hit the ground. With luck, it'd be interpreted as a random alley cat by those who heard.

Since he hadn't decided on which guard to take out while on the roof, he just ran towards the first guard he saw.

Sneaking up behind the guard, Doi's gripped the guards head once his mental count reached 60 and forced some magnet natured chakra into the unexpecting mans head. With his target effectively taken out, he pulled the body behind a nearby bush and took off towards the rendezvous point their tutor had specified.

With the restrictions clearly set Hiro turned his attention back towards the scene of the operation as he watched the scene carefully taking in the way that the guards interacted with one another taking note of subtle body language as he had picked up from his lessons at the academy. At that very moment he heard the man teaching the course tell them to get down as a litter filled to the brim with scantily clad women and children was rested on the ground. Nodding his head quietly Hiro mentally began taking note of the locations of each of the five guards.

When the order was given to count silently in their heads to 60 Hiro quickly began moving along with the other students as he silently moved towards the storm drain that he had used to climb up. Sliding down the wall while holding onto it Hiro softly landed his feet along the ground as he looked around to make sure that the scene was clear before running off behind the now emptied litter hiding and controlling his breathing to avoid making unnecessary noise as he watched his fellow peers all running off with the instructor going for the guard in the back. At that moment Hiro took note of the other student Doi quickly dispatching a guard once the count was at 60 jumping up atop of the litter and jumping again towards a guard rounding the corner that would have seen the act using what was left of his jacket to wrap around his mouth effectively gagging him before flipping over the guard using his full weight and slamming the guard's head into the street knocking him out effectively. Annoyed with the weight of the large guard Hiro gripped hard on his long sleeve and began to forcibly drag him towards a set of garbage cans moving them slightly and placing the unconscious man up against the wall before hiding him underneath some trash bags and cans.

The arrival of the women and children gave Akira the chance to immediately memorize their scents in order to learn which the civilians were and which were not by scent alone. A slight tilt to his head as the women and children were forced inside as he wondered why one woman was so differently dressed than all the others. Being nomadic in nature, he didn’t realize the purpose they were being used for as it was common for the Inugami not to care much for the appearance of their own bodies in front of others, as such having no real sense of modesty or shame in appearing in ones birthday suit in front of others.

Listening to further instructions from the ANBU instructor, as he and Kuro looked over at the target they would be taking down. Once the order to begin was given, Akira threw himself skillfully off the roof while remaining in the shadows. Considering how quickly and unexpectedly he threw himself off, he landed quite gracefully with no sound as he ran on all fours like a beast while remaining in the shadows of the night, preferring to stay away from the light in order not to be seen. Kuro finally made his first movements as he hopped off of Akira’s head and began sniffing around in the shadows. He had already been counting down in his head as he listened intently to the footsteps of his mark. He was close, then suddenly the echoes of his footsteps were changed slightly as if he was walking away. His back was turned to Akira and Kuro now. ”Now.” he thought to himself as he appeared from the shadows suddenly with Kuro darting silently next to him.

Like predators pouncing on an unsuspecting prey, the guard never saw the coordinated attack between the two. Kuro darted and quickly tripped the guard after slamming his furry body into the guard’s legs. Before the guard could even shriek in surprise or make any other noise, Akira wrapped his body behind the unsuspecting pray, one arm slipping past his neck with the prey’s trachea at the crook of his elbow while grabbing his other bicep. His free arm was placed behind the guard’s head with his palm against his own shoulder as he squeezed and applied lateral pressure on both sides of the neck. Kuro remained on guard, listening intently to see if anyone else was around, making sure Akira would remain protected while distracted with the guard in hand. Once the rear naked choke was finished, the guard was quickly unconscious as they moved the body into the shadows quickly, hiding him inside a dumpster that was next to them. Kuro jumped back on Akira’s head and the duo went to the new rendezvous with their ANBU instructor and the rest of the class.

Shiro was pretty stoked up about this...He had heard that they didn't need to kill anyone, but knock them out, which Shiro was definitely fine with.

"A kill will result in your failure and reporting to the authorities; so don't do anything stupid" Said the man in the mask. Shiro already had his mask on, but his silver hair might be a problem from here on out. He kept low, now, knowing that the mission was afoot and his laziness could get him caught...But...He still was pretty lazy, almost sleeping off while the man was explaining. "Begin silent, one-minute countdown in your head. Once we reach 60, take down your guard. We will be dispersing from here. Remain quiet and in the shadows," The man would say, before moving out to dispose of his target.

*Better get going then...I have prey to catch...*

He counted in his head from that moment on, and moved to his designated target...

"Ten...Eleven...Twelve...Thirteen..." The boy would continue to count under his breath, as his target was already on sight. Following the guard, Shiro would quietly guide through the roofs, following the path that his target walked. "...Fifty-Five...Fifty-Six...Fifty-Seven...Fifty-Eight...Fifty-Nine...Sixty!"

It was time up, and the boy quietly guided down, and using his wooden sparring tanto, he effectively sent the man to his dreams, and proceeded to proceed with the plan that the ANBU specialist had given them...

The Chronicles of Kyo-MoonRelated Information
The sound of something jumping onto the litter, from a moment ago, could be heard loudly. This caught the attention of the guards outside of the estate and even the first target, Zendo Kashi, poking his head out of his opened window. Seeing this as he approached caused Kyo to lay down upon the ground with his head down, hoping the gray color of the cloak would help him blend-in with the shadows. The white mask that was given to them was awful at remaining stealthy. Kyo wasn't happy at the fact that the masks were a bright white color. Kyo cursed to himself after hearing that loud banging on the litter's top. "What the fuck!" Kyo thought to himself.[lb2][/lb2]
"What was that?" shouted out Zendo Kashi, speaking to the guards in the front. One of the guards outside shouted back. "No idea sir. It was probably a cat." Zendo Kashi sucked a bit of air between his teeth and drew himself back into the room where he could be heard apologizing to his guest, "My apologies, madam Tendo. The animal population in this village is complete crap," he said before he began ranting with the woman, talking about pointless subjects as if they were old friends. After the situation had settled down, Kyo raised his head and started to make his way towards the spot underneath the window. While it was risky, his silhouette remained low as opposed to if he took the high-road to the roof. Irritation started to well-up within Kyo as that action could've easily ruined the operation. Thankfully, Zendo Kashi was an idiot.[lb2][/lb2]
More noises involving dumpsters were heard from two separate directions which caused Kyo's anger to boil over a bit. He should've instructed them to put them away in QUIETER locations. This would be something he'd have to address in his debriefing afterward. It was then that the students started to gather around him. He turned to look towards them and pointed at the walls. His back was pressed tightly against the wall before raising a finger up to where his lips would be, signalling to them to be quiet. It was then that the main part of the operation began.[lb2][/lb2]
"Oh, thank you, Mister Zendo. I'm glad to be here. Last time we've seen each other was, what? Several years ago? You got me nice and drunk and you couldn't peel yourself off of me. I know I have the BEST breasts around, but your hands couldn't stay away from them," [lb][/lb]
"Well, you know, I can't not resist something as beautiful and bountiful as you, Madam Tendo. You'd make this old man's dream come true if you let me have a taste," the two bantered on and on with pointless drivel. This conversation went on for roughly 10 minutes before the conversation took a quick turn, changing from banter (bordering sexual harassment going both ways) to strictly business.[lb2][/lb2]
Kyo waved to gain the attention of his students and then pointed to where his ears would be, then pointed upwards, as if to tell them to start paying attention. Their conversation turned to asking how much for the women with the two bartering for a price and then the two bartering for the children at a much higher rate. While Kyo would want to stop this dead-in-it's-tracks, the mission was to just collect intelligence for now. There was no room for heroics at this moment. During the entire conversation, Kyo weaved together some handseals and began 'recording' the conversation for later use. [lb2][/lb2]
It seemed the group got what they needed with Kyo/Hyungteo giving them the thumbs up. It was at that very moment that the main door to the building opened up with a group of 5 men walking out. There was a loud conversation going on between the men before one of them shouted out, "The last shift aren't at their posts! INTRUDER ALERT!" the guard said causing the wooden shutters of the room the ANBU and the would-bes were sitting under closed. There was a frantic shouting coming from within the room. Kyo turned his head towards the children and made the 'get the hell out of here' hand-gesture. "Meet me where we met," Kyo said before jumping over the wall and disappearing. It seemed that their time limit had been met.[lb2][/lb2]
Kyo took a long, round-about way back to where the group met one another, keeping his profile upon the roof extremely low. All he had to do now is wait for the rest of the students.

He had to tune out the conversation for a brief moment. The first 10 minutes of listening in to Zendo and Tendo's conversation was completely fruitless. It just sexually charged banter between acquaintances and nothing of importance. Though, if he was to be completely honest, the conversation did serve to make him feel a bit uncomfortable. Were these the type of conversations shady individuals found pleasant? Couldn't they exchange pleasantries like normal people?

Nonetheless, that was 10 long minutes of their 20 minute time frame wasted. Hopefully, they'd get to talking business really soon. Their objective relied on it. It'd look bad if they had to leave without having acquired any useful intel.

Just as that last thought came across Doi's mind, the ANBU tutor signaled as if telling them to pay closer attention. Seems they'd started bartering the prisoners while Doi hadn't been paying attention. The women and children were being traded and sold like goods. This alone left a bad taste in the young Genin's mouth. These were human beings, not some type of merchandise. Sadly, he could imagine that things like this were happening all around the world. There'd needed to be a massive change in the world to stop these shady transactions from happening everywhere.

Once their tutor had given the thumbs up, it was easy to understand they'd completed their reconnaissance objective. Yet, not too long after the tutor's signal did a group of five men walk out through the building's main door.

Man said:
"The last shift aren't at their posts! INTRUDER ALERT!"

The shutters of the window they'd been under were immediately closed. Doi now had understood they needed to get of there before they were discovered.

With a nod, he followed the tutor in jumping over the wall but decided to take a different route to their original meeting location. Moving fast, he remained in the shadow all the while.

He was a tad louder then he would like to admit, but at the very least the guard was dealt with and the guards inside hadn’t been aware of his actions blaming it on something akin to an animal causing trouble. He would have to work on better ways of silently dealing with an individual in the future if he truly wanted to seek a career in the ANBU. Nevertheless, Hiro met up with his tutor and the other students remaining silent the entire time as he listened carefully to the conversation occurring inside between the strange man and women.
While listening he was able to deduce that they were in fact in the business of selling women and children, and it was clear that this wasn’t the first or the last time they would be planning to do this, unless they were stopped. Though it wasn’t his place to run in there not wanting to put the mission in jeopardy especially after his loud entrance to the scene. Deciding instead to play it by the books for the first time in his life Hiro quietly continued to listen to see if there was anything else he could pick up on before the sounds of shouting could be heard from the entrance to the building.
His eyes widening Hiro looked back over at their tutor seeing him give the order for them all to disperse and meet back at the original meeting location that they had gotten their briefing on. With that like the other students Hiro immediately dispersed taking to the shadows of the roof rafters to get past the sprinting guards trying his best to avoid an annoying run in with one of them that could spell out the ending of his time here as a ninja, or worse. Once the coast was clear Hiro dove straight for an open window rolling out into an alleyway nearly silently before running off to another side street and slowing his pace down to seem as though he were only casually strolling around. Now clearly far enough from the scene to avoid suspicion Hiro would remove his mask and casually make his way the long way back around to the meeting area putting his mask on just before climbing up to the roof to see how he and the rest of the students did for their class. He was sure that he probably was one of the only ones who messed up, but he wouldn’t be the first to admit it.

"Well that was quick..." A Slight mutter would come out of the boy's mouth, as he moved from position. He knew he was sleepy, and tired, but he moved his lazy behind away from the place, after hearing the yelling from the guards.

*I wonder how the guy is feeling right now? He must be nervous...Oh how I could feast in his hastiness...Oh and how I praise his idiocy...But now...It's time for me to fade back into the darkness...*

The boy, continued on walking away, using another building's shadow to remain undetected as he climbed.... His small body was hard to spot, and his silver hair was covered. He clumsily climbed up, sometimes stepping on places where he should not, causing small pebbles to drop to bellow, although it wouldn't make loud noises, the pebble's landing would resemble that of a cat's legs landing upon a roof...

"Ah, what a pain...This is boring, after that little ambush thing...But, it's best to return to the place we've met...I bet some students are already back..." The boy would mutter, as he continued to grab rock upon rock to climb up. He didn't have very good Chakra control, he couldn't even steadily just run up, without the fear to fall down...But he ought to learn soon...

"Agh..." A small groan came out of the boy's mouth, finally reaching the top of the building, and began to go over a wire connected from his designated meeting place, going left, right, left, carefully running, to maintain balance and not attract any attention.

It took a minute or so, but he got there, and upon returning, the ANBU specialist and two students were already there, although it wasn't bad being third...I think...?

He listened intently to the conversations of the strange men taking place in front of them. It seemed some of them made more noise than was necessary he thought as he tilted his head and continued watching on. Standing at the meeting point with the instructor and rest of the students, he studied the ones around him slightly once more, wondering what kind of backgrounds each of his fellow team members had.

Kuro was quiet on Akira’s head, hardly making a sound and his black color making him blend in quite well in the dark of the night, only his orange colored eyes visible, albeit probably looking like a pair of orange globes looking from the night with no body from his shadowy camouflage.

The screaming of men caught both of their attentions. The time limit. Both of their eyes reverted to the ANBU to see what the rest of the instructions would be as he seemed to tell them to leave the vicinity at once. With a slight nod of understanding, Akira and Kuro remained low to the ground as they quickly hid among the shadows, running with silent steps in the guise of the dark.

He made his way back to the original rendezvous point as he remained low the entire time, using his senses to avoid further detection as he crouched on the rooftop with the ANBU and the others. His bestial eyes studied the frantic men seemingly panicking now as he looked back over to the ANBU for further instruction. He wasn’t sure if it was part of the original plan to have been detected at all. Had they failed due to time?
