Physical Description:
[lb] [/lb]
Kurokawa means black river and she got the name because of a tot of ebon hair located on her forehead (and because rivers often spring from waterfalls. See History). She otherwise has completely white hair unlike her mother who has completely black hair. At her current age she has shoulder long hair commonly held in a knot, with the black lock of hair running up into the knot. She is 1,72m tall and weighs 55kg. Her fair skin is almost as white as her hair and she has a scare on the right side of her neck. As her clan name suggests she is completely blind but does not have a white veil over her eyes. She has beautiful black eyes with a brown iris. Her face is above average in beauty and really emphasizes her eyes but she usually wears a purple silk harlequin mask style blindfold(See avatar). The mask is not ugly but it does take off some of the appeal for most people no matter how well looking the rest of the face is. Down along her spine she has a one month old tattoo in the form of the characters for black and for river. They are usually partially or totally covered by clothes.
[lb] [/lb]
This but silvery white hair with just a slight hint of pink (See Avatar), no forehead mark and the top half of her back tattoo mostly visible. The character for Kuro. Also younger but since I only have access to one age that is kind of a given.
Mental Description:
[lb] [/lb]
Kurokawa has been very calm and collected all her life. That is until she learned about her Origin (See below). After that she stopped being too trusting and kept everyone at arm’s length with one eye ever watchfully focused on them at all times. Until she has a reason to trust someone she somewhat gives them the benefit of the doubt without getting too close for comfort. Would not want one of them to pull a knife on her or worse. Once you gain her trust however, she will stand by you and help out to the best of her ability. Female characters are more easily trusted as they have yet to try and attack her or her immediate family. The few good friends she still has from her past have not shown interest in joining the Shinobi world, at least not yet, so she is looking for friends with similar aspirations as herself.

History:
[lb] [/lb]
About 17 years ago on a cloudy night a woman was travelling between her home near Otogakura (Hidden sound village) and Iwagakure (Hidden Rock Village) to visit some family. With her she had the company of two other Shinobi. The mist suddenly formed as it often does in the waterfall country but this was no ordinary mist. It was the signature assault strategy technique used by the water country soldiers called the hidden mist technique. Before long her two companions, who lacked her ability to see with sound, were gone and she was left alone in the mist. She was struck in the back of the head and when she woke up she knew what had happened. Her two companions had stopped and killed the lone straggler but not before the mist had cleared and by then it was too late to prevent. One of her companions had identified the attacker as a Kaguya missing nin from the family crest on his garments and the line through his forehead protection. They froze his body with an ice sealing jutsu that would preserve him and then submerged the body into the earth so it would be there if needed but otherwise never be found. They marked it in an encrypted scroll so that they could find it again if need be. They made sure that only the three of them + the dead Kaguya would be able to uncover and break the seal. Afterwards they made it safely to Iwagakure and she decided to stay there with that side of the family for the time being. Nine months later Kurokawa was born. Rivers often springs from waterfalls and she was conceived during the trip through the waterfall country. That and the small collected portion of her hair located on the right side of her forehead decided her name. Kurokawa was born blind but during her first several years her mother taught her about the sound and how to use it to feel everything close by rather than see it. A rose is a rose, red or not, so although colour is a foreign concept to her the shape and location aspects of perception were in turn heightened. She had many friends growing up and they helped her to find clothes to flatter her beauty, as did her mother. At the age of ten we was ready to enter the academy but before that her mother took her on a trip to celebrate the fact that she was going to become a ninja but also to tell her the truth about her father. Kurokawa was of course shocked to learn about her origin but she did not get much time to come to terms with it. A group of people wanted a member of the Hashigaki clan for research purposes and a group consisting of two male and two female ninjas were eavesdropping. Learning about Kurokawas unique background they decided on a plan to have the men capture the mother and the women would then lie to Kurokawa and tell her that her mother had been killed and that they were going to take her in. Kurokawa’s had not been sitting idle for the last 10 years and was not an unskilled fighter herself by this time. To protect her daughter the mother fought against the male members to the point where they decided that capture alive was not an option. Prioritizing the daughter over the mother as the living sample they killed the mother without first separating them which send Kurokawa into a blind rage that activated her bone grows temporarily to make her a charging hedgehog of fury. The 2 men were rather surprised by this vicious new attacker and one managed to get fatally stabbed and bled out in seconds. The other got away with minor injuries but not before delivering a cut to Kurokawa’s right side of the neck, which caused her to retract the spikes and fall unconscious. He then took off with the dead mother leaving the rest to the two female ninjas, one of which was a skilled medical ninja. They now didn’t have to lie about the mother being dead and as they planned they took her in to raise her to help their cause one day. After then she was hospitalized for a while and soon turned 11. She became a bit of a shut in for some time but slowly recovered from the shock and although she was devastated about losing her mother she pulled through. By the age of 12 she was back with her close friends and although she had a newfound caution towards the opposite gender she was well enough rehabilitated to finally start at the academy. She remembered nothing from seeing her mother getting killed to waking up in a hospital, so other than knowing that her father is from the Kaguya clan she has no memory of using or control over the bone bloodline limit. She only has what her mother taught her before her death + what little her two new guardians have taught her. The guardians had acquired the sealing scroll in case they could use it later but kept it hidden for now.

History. Continual:
Kurokawa had been training alone at home before she met some strange figure at a café. The person was very interested in the ninja structure and Kurokawa decided to show him around the academy and in the process sign up for a class. The class ended up having a total of 5 students and one teacher. One of the students spaced out during the class and seemingly dropped out. One mysteriously disappeared, and the last three became good friends and even did a mission together. Kurokawa still kept regular contact with one of the two others, Shikai, but Rina seemed to do her own thing for a while and didn't have much time to hang. All three went into their separate branches and started their climb. Kurokawa got her headband through trial by combat which is as hard as it sounds.

Kurokawa was later forced to try and unlock her fathers potent blood, by her guardians, and went into a misty place where a voice presented itself to her without a name. Her body was in a power struggle between her mothers and fathers blood and this voice offered to eradicate her fathers presence in her in return for residence within her. She agreed and this accepted the blood spirit, who devoured every last trace of her father, changed her iconic hair to no longer feature a dark strand of hair and go from silvery white to having a slight hint of if pink (Still very close to silvery white). She was now a blood Jinchuuriki, and the creature inside unlocked her hazy memory showing her what she had done in the past but more importantly it showed her a mental image of the emblem on the shirts of the attackers who killed her mother. The same symbols were then shown on her guardians in a vision from when they first came to her rescue. She found out that they were actually part of the plot to kill her mother and take her in. This made her so furious that she just wanted revenge. The spirit took is opportunity to teach her how to absorb peoples blood when they die, which would feed the spirit. She eradicated her guardians before they knew what was going in and sucked them dry. She then made an inner agreement with the spirit that it would get fed every so often and in return not try to help itself to meals. She would later find out that the spirit had been in some form of spirit hell where every torment is different. For this one it had been starved for an eternity and was thus afraid to ever go hungry again. Now with a regular supply of food the spirits true personality could emerge.

After finally getting out of the academy Kurokawa had her hands full. Other than moving into the barracks now that her guardians house no longer had any owners, a major event was underway in Sand and she needed to get ready for it. A giant multi exam, in which both her, RIna, and Shikai would participate. She herself was put through a puzzle trap which turned out to be a jashin temple, not that she could see most of the clues that it was. With her she had an Ancient by the name of Sahqo Golz, whom she had chosen to spare over finishing the puzzle faster. After escaping it she ended up at the mednin exam where Rina was trying to earn her rank. The reunion was a bit awkward as the meet up didn't go smoothly. The medics had been attacked by a sand worm as were badly hurt. Golz mistook the group for Rangers, an old organisation dedicated to hunting down and killing ancient. After opening a chasm between them and the ones he feared, Kurokawa got Golz to calm down. The strongest of the ones Golz was afraid of, soon left and he would calm down enough for the situation to eventually fade out after that. Golz could not leave Sand and Kurokawa had to go back home to stone.

Kurokawa had an unfortunate event during patrol one day. She was out trying to keep order along side Shikai (By then known as Weaver of the ANBU squad), when she came across gate guards looking like they had been in an accident that would not commonly befall Shinobi. While investigating she found the perpetrator who knocked her and Shikai out without much effort. She woke up in the hospital to questioning about the incident. She didn't have much to offer though. A blind eyewitness statement won't hold much water after all. She went into a healing slumber thanks to her blood spirit, and woke up to a mystery guest coming into her room. An investigation led by the ANBU leader was set in motion to find the culprit, later identified as a Shinobi newly added to the ranks under the false pretences that he would serve stone.

Afterwards she went with Shikai to do survival training, in order to make ready for the future. There she acquired the ability to tell different berries and plans apart by smell and sort out those that would be considered poisonous. Something that could come in handy later. She also got some valuable experience when it comes to her limits, for example with scouting out a place. She had no trouble finding what she is looking for but finding what she is not looking for proved quite a challenge.

Stone went down and Leaf started to spring up. Not wanting to move to Leaf with most of the problems she had with people in stone, Kurokawa instead went missing and travelled to Sand in the hopes that she could make a new life there. Upon arrival she met with the metallic sounding Tenken, a tall masked man, at the gate who questioned her before sending her onwards to the Kage tower to get accessed. She found the Kazekage practising against Automatons and began her initiation into sand by proving herself against one of them.

After joining sand and getting set up with a place to live and a regular training schedule she went to start her job as a medical ninja. A huge battle had taken place so she was needed to help treat the injured and make sure that infection did not spread. Afterwards she went on one of her re-con trips into the more shady areas. This was a new thing for her in Sand but something he had done a few times in Stone to get connections. Unfortunately her attempt to blend in was thwarted by the Kazekage showing up and keeping her company for a while. After he left she figured the chance of getting someone useful had passed and she went onwards with the intend of patrolling around the Grand Palais to find other possible sources of information, but she got ambushed and next thing she remembered was waking up with broken bones, joints pulled out of socket and bruises all over. Fainting from low body temperature she then found herself waking up in a bed somewhere, with no recollection of how she got there. Someone had taken her in and nurtured her back to health.

She also took it upon herself to teach classes although seeing as she was still young she would use a transformed clone to first to through some routine procedures before springing a surprise bleeding victim situation on them to see how they handled sudden stressful surprises. (Ongoing)
At at trip to the library Kurokawa learned that other blind Shinobi resided in Sand, or at least one. Unlike herself this other Shinobi had a way of actually seeing things making her able appreciate some colours although it did not help her when it came to reading and so she had learned Braille whereas Kurokawa read the ink.
On a mission she found another spirit like the blood spirit inside her and the sand spirit she met during the exam. This time the spirit seemed to be bound to the Ink element, and have a flair for truth although it didn't fully comprehend how to read the mood of a situation to not jump to conclusions. Kurokawa offered to become the host for the spirit while it learned of the new angles truth had but it is yet uncertain whether this help would lead to permanent residency for the spirit.

Name: Hemorian Amun Dai

Notes: Hemorian (Called Hemo by Kurokawa) has so far helped out Kurokawa with her training and she has just begun interacting with it in a way one would a friend. They are not that close but it seems to have a mood that follows the host body. When Kurokawa gets upset or wants revenge the Spirit within takes form of an all consuming red mist but otherwise it remains a docile travel companion that she sometimes share inner dialogue with. Most recently an event has changed Hemorian. Not only does the spirit identify more as female than male now but it has also lost much of it's external capabilities due to Kurokawa no longer being a Jinchuuriki.
