Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

The fight would begin to get rather chaotic from this point. The demon, though being struck on a few occasions, manages to outwit the samurai. This did not serve the Kage well. But Shoma's struggle would not yet end. With the blessing of the spirit, or so he hoped, he would do well enough to subdue the demon that he may be placed into the cusduty of the lawbringers of the land.

Umashi completely wasn't expecting Hissori to call him into anything other than maybe a bar for a drink. Much less the frantic dialing from Hissori over their private village leadership frequency. Responding to the call however, Umashi dropped everything that he was doing and simply went along with what he was ordered. He certainly wasn't trying to have to reestablish himself with yet another Tsuchikage.

OOC: Next time PM me when you call me ICly Hissori, lol. Entering in 3 rounds in order to make sure that nobody actually dies from this little spat.

Sighing, the young puppeteer looked over the battle at the people who had joined into this needless fighting. He didn't understand how so many people could get involved with this nonsense. It was just some dude being belligerent and uncooperative, right? Why did these things always have to escalate into violence? Ginjiro was all for justice and doing what was right, but he also believed that not everything had to be solved by fighting. It was perfectly valid to just talk things out like normal people. Apparently, these people were anything but normal.

Realizing that this battle was dragging on for far longer than he would have liked, the young puppeteer decided that it was time for him to get involved. He'd sat on the sidelines for most of this encounter, but it was time for him to flex his muscles once more. Or, rather, his fingers. He wouldn't really be doing all that much work himself, to be honest. Since, you know, he was a puppeteer. Anyways, he had learned a considerable amount about what had gone wrong with his puppet the last time he'd used it and caused himself to pass out. It seemed that the puppet's control of fire was a tad unstable, causing himself to pass out due to overexposure to the intense flames. This time, he'd try using the puppet away from his main body. Hopefully that would keep it from incinerating him.

Striding towards the battlefield, the young Ayatsuri rolled up his metaphorical sleeves. He didn't quite have sleeves to roll up. Assuming a rather corny and superhero-esque pose, the young man pointed directly at the man named Akkuma. "Demon! It is time that you are vanquished! The terror you have wrought upon these fine people is horrendous and unspeakable! I shall aid my friends, and put you into your place!" And with that, the battle would begin. It was time to show these people who the real master of puppets was.

Still awaiting Hissori - he has not posted IC anywhere so I am still able to wait on him.

Ginjiro gave his actions a few hours late per ROE because he posted IC with an NPC on 7/5. So unless I get everyone's consent to use his actions he is unfortunately in D stance for this round as well.

Shikai had a comfortable seat and a good view of every exam. His stomach was full due to poisoned food forcing him to keep eating until he noticed the problem and dispelled it. He was no Akimichi so eating that much would hinder his movements a little. Full stomach or not, an emergency flare meant there was no time to waste. At least he was a fair distance away so he would have the time to deal with it while running. Running out of the showroom he would pass the Otokage who had been sitting idle just starring at his students doing anything but represent sound properly.

Shikai used string to get a swing on it propelling him towards a roof top. Much easier to get to the battle in a straight line than through twisting streets. While running he could hear the battle commencing, he remembered the problem at the ANBU exam and what seemed like a plan hatched by the daimyo, trying to start a war. If he found him at any point he would make sure he got a chance to expose him to whatever he himself was doused with in that room with no door.

Unlike the user, a clone's unused Ap does not carry over into the next round. Meaning the AP they start with is the maximum they have to utilize each round. So some clone actions could not be completed.

Was unable to perform the desired Chidori Attack. Upon reviewing the UBR and verifying it with Bone, the puppet when you are wielding it cannot use jutsus outside of its specified puppet type. There was a time in the past (v5) where with an ability a player could use a limited array of puppets but it is not the case these days.

Stone Golem lacks the AP to perform reactionaries. They have a total of 2 AP and we determine upon creation how much AP they have left in the round. And his AP remaining would be under 2 AP.

With what Hissori said last, he realized that there was no hope in stopping the fight in a peaceful manner. There would have to be a winner. Hissori already knew the loser though was going to be the civilians. Because of that, he would put a hand on the white wolf, Buru and channel chakra into the dog.

Smoke didn’t appear around the man and the dog instead the dog slowly morphed into a copy of himself. Instead. He would try to disappear into the crowd as he disappeared. Instead though he was attacked.

He would gasped as blood rushed from the unspecting strike that Shoma dealt to him. Busy with helping people, Hissori did not realize what was coming and was left reeling from the attack. A large cut appeared across the back of the man, and blood slowly soaked the Tschuikage; robes.

As Shiromaru drew closer to the source of the fire works, something dawned on him. It has been some time since he heard another whistle or pop of another fire cracker. He began to realize that instead of a BBQ, Shiromaru was heading into a battle zone and someone had called for help. It wasn't his thing to but into affairs of others but he was already on his way so he might as well continue forward.

The air was becoming ripe with the smell of singed flesh and burned blood. The boys adrenaline was pumping already at the excitement he expected. Little did he know he was jumping into a losing battle.

This battle was almost over. A few seconds had gone by, and the young puppeteer was almost ready to bring the demon to his knees. He didn't care to kill him, he just couldn't allow him to keep terrorizing the citizens like this. He had a couple more attacks ready for the demon, and he was just about to set them into motion...

...when suddenly, an ominous figure approached him. A massive dog, with white fur and eyes that seemed so familiar. Then it hit Ginjiro. Yes, that's right. This was the demon dog that he'd met while in Iwagakure. The one who had stolen his arm. "So, we meet again my nemesis? Come to take my arm again, you wretched fiend?" But treachery was not on the agenda for today. The dog knelt before the young puppeteer, offering what seemed to be an olive branch of sorts. This dog was offering to ride into battle with the puppeteer? Ginjiro couldn't believe this! A single, manly tear, made its way down his face. "I'm moved, my eternal foe. You would bury the hatchet with me, and join me in glorious conquest?!" The look in the canine's eyes was all it took. Ginjiro gave the beast a smile, then jumped onto its back. The two of them would ride into battle, vanquishing the evil that had derailed this topic. "All shall fear us, and tremble before our power!" Obviously, their victory was divine providence.

Both of his thundering attacks hit home but still Akkuma was standing. It wasn't surprising really, Akkuma had plenty of power to back up his paranoid nonsense but it was disappointing none the less. The longer the battle went on the more likely it was that someone who didn't deserve to get hurt would get dragged into things. Lightning blitzing around his body still as he moved from location to location as a flicker of movement, Takayuki's body began to accumulate the necessary charge of energy for another onslaught of attacks. The others had joined the fight by now and it seemed almost like the entirety of the Jounin Exam had joined forces against Akkuma to put an end to the chaos which was as positive an outcome as Takayuki could have hoped for.

The energy that gathered in Takayuki's right hand this time however was not of the Lightning Element. Rather, white flames licked at his fingertips as he poured Fire Element chakra into his hand which was extended out in front of him. The heat of the contained power seared his flesh as he gathered it but he pushed through the pain and continued to charge the attack. Pulling it close for a moment, he then pressed the ball of flame chakra that had formed in his right hand together into his left, Takayuki compressed the power for a moment as he formed the image of what he wanted in his mind before throwing his hands out to the side and causing it to expand in each direction, taking the form of a long shaft of brilliant white light and flame. Reaching forward he grasped the haft of the great flame spear and flourished it for a moment in a spinning motion sending embers in every direction as he brought the spear back and prepared to throw it. Into the spear he poured his anger for being forced into this situation, drawing on the emotions that he knew pleased the Dark Lord so much. Somewhere he knew that Jashin and almost certainly the Grand Master were laughing at him for having to be forced to wield Jashin's power so continually but it was necessary to be victorious.

Shifting his footing, Takayuki sprang forward and with a deafening crack of thunder the likes of which would shake the walls of local buildings the protege of the Otokage loosed his scorching spear at Akkuma with all of the righteousness and contempt he could muster.

Covered in greater confidence, Shoma launch at great speed seeking to attack the spirit and willpower of the Foul One."Wonder Cut." Though his speed is great, his aim is lacking, proving that the Beast of Darkness could not be taken down swiftly while abandoning accuracy, focus, and care. Fortunately for the soldier, his failed attack places him in decent proximity to use a nurse's needle. In this Shoma would find success as the Beast seems to lose focus, his consciousness waning.

As Shoma readies his next attack, two of the Shinobi, those of Stone, seem to be sending signals. The swordsman could not afford to have his focus hindered with wondering though, and he strikes twice. 'Perpetual Neglect' is the name given to the technique that seems to leave no physical mark on the darkened soul, despite his sword actually passing into the flesh. The sting however is enough to reawaken the wrath of evil, and evil he would pursue. The dark action he takes is one of deception, for with his familiarity with Shoma's Kage, he takes his form, and with them both attempting to hide, Shoma make a strong string of strokes at the Hissori he believes to be Akkuma. Though his sword swings true, yet it does not, for the blood drawn is not demonic. The samurai would merely utter, "My apologizes," before turning to the remaining false Kage.

Shoma decides to trap the field for his opponent, making it tougher for the beast he hopes, as he prepares his next assault. Hissori himself would attempt to place his hands on the samurai, yet he would touch but a possibility of Shoma. Some would call this a clone, and perhaps it could be seen accuracy that way among Shinobi, but among samurai of Fire, this technique is concerned the occurrence of one who, though is determined toward an end result, chooses more that one way to achieve it. But as the other possibilities of Shoma manifest, so too does that of the False Kage. Gritting his teeth, the warrior utters under his breathe, "You mock me."

He knows not that he the only one sees them this way, but he would know that his actions, his example, is seen. Two of the ones from afar speak out against the evil in the rain(assuming Amaya's Raindance is role play-wise still in effect). But he would not put confidence in their words alone. But they would act by his side, attacking the dark one in their own method, and this would be where Akkuma would take a true offensive toward the man and the youths. As the Beast of Darkness prepares his attack, Shoma pulls a stone pillar out of the ground the size of himself, and when the opponent strikes, Shoma kicks the statue forward to accept the onslaught in his stead.

Many more techniques and spells would be cast about, adding to the chaos. Shoma grows to understand that he would have to push his limits. As the rain falls, its intensity grows before it slows around Shoma, but as the swordsman understands, it is his merely own perception that is heightened. He could perceive those around him with greater clarity. So when Akkuma summons more of his minions, Shoma knows it is time to end this before the odds shift further in his opponents favor.

With the use of his blade, Shoma releases tension that he built up in a few seconds. 'Lateral Thunder-Crack,' is the name given to this technique in which the user attempts to strike the opponent seemingly half-committed. At the moment the blade finds itself slightly in the flesh, the user whips his sword in the opposite direction, creating a sonic-boom that would be more forceful than strong sword-strike by itself.

But in all his battle and the use of his will, he had forgotten something, as common and expected. But what? Which vital body function is not maintained, did he not remember to juggle in his mind? Nerves, sight, they were hard to maintain but not forgotten. He remembered to breath, but upon viewing his fingers, he begins to see a pale tint. He had forgotten to remind his heart to beat. He takes a knee to try to focus, knowing that he is doing far more than initially intended. To restore functionality to blood-flow, something else would have to give.

The battle was truly underway now, instead of facing one foe the demon now battled three. Even for a shinobi of his calibre this could mean the end for him. Shoma wasted no time striking out at the demon again with blinding speed, while the puppeteer dropped a smoke bomb. Quickly following up on this the Samurai unleashed a barrage upon all the Hissori's he saw, even the demon had to admit it was a smart tactic. The blow interrupted his transformation and he let out a snarl, his chances of survival had just dropped severely. His opponent tried once more to hide yet again failing to conceal himself from the demon.

His opponent sheathed his weapon and the demon couldn't help but wonder what his next attack would be. Buru approached the puppeteer as the shinobi tried to conceal himself from the demons view as well. It seemed they were happy to fight him but wished to do so from the shadows. Another curse seal was activated from what the demon could see it looked to be a terra seal. This puppeteer was getting serious it would seem. Next Shoma summoned a being of stone while Hissori also summoned another creature. Takayuki made his move and the demon could feel the pressure of his jutsu pressing down on him. "Fools you're playing into his hands..." he would snarl at them quickly flying through his handseals. What could only be described as death rained down upon his opponents in a singular blast, Shoma quickly pushed his summon in front of him. While the other two shinobi took the brunt of the blow.

A lightning bolt was launched at HIssori by one of Shoma's clones, it seemed he still intended on attacking his own Kage. Buru seemed to be interacting with the puppeteer as the shinobi prepped a puppet. Shoma activated his own Aura he could feel it straining against the demon, although his conviction would not falter no matter how dire the situation seemed. Yet again lightning struck down towards the being, fortunately most of the strikes were dodged. Even those strikes that did hit him were shrugged of easily by the being, next he noticed Ginjiro atop the Hissori looking Buru (although more beastial) and couldn't help but laugh when he saw the puppeteer riding him. It seemed that even Buru was siding with his enemies, admittedly this stung but he would address that later.

Again more bursts of lightning struck down hitting Akkuma, this time more of the blows finding their mark. The demon could feel himself reaching the end of his limits, it seemed his time was almost up. Deciding he needed to level the playing field the demon summoned another demon, known as Zangyaku a powerful contract summon. It appeared as a shadow version of its master, the difference obvious. After completion he turned just in time to see Takayuki strike out the lightning blade piercing his chest, black tar-like blood dripped from the being. The ground sizzled with each drip, coughing more of the foul liquid up he performed more handseals. This time summoning ten corpses upon the field the undead beings looked upon their masters foes. Once more he was assaulted this time with a fiery perfected rasengan, the pain was tremendous.

Burnt, bleeding and broken the demon stood his ground, even as Shoma flew forward striking him with another lightning jutsu. Even more blood flowed from the demon as the strike struck true, the demons hands shook. Its skin going pale as blood poured from him profusely. Yet again he was struck another blow from Takayuki, in the demons current state the blow struck its mark. Causing the demon to stumble, before he could compose himself more blows of lightning found their mark. His wounds were already mending both due to his natural healing abilities and thanks to his Solar seal. Though he knew this would not be enough to see him victory, if this continued it would be mere seconds before he lost this fight. He needed to create some space between him and his opponents. If he succeeded his chances of survival would be high, though if he failed his life would be in the hands of these shinobi.

The battle raged on with intensity there were now multiple powerful shinobi and a vast number of summons. Corpses and demons entered the fray fighting his opponents while they launched their attacks. Zangyaku seemed to be enjoying himself toying with the opponents initially. Laughing like a maddened bloodthirsty demon, seeking out Jomei before picking another target. With incredible speed Akkuma erected the Black Blockade, with his masterful skill of Ninjutsu those who sought to harm him found it less then easy to enter. Unfortunately Zangyaku attacked Jomei a shinobi he had no particular quarrel with. So far the young shinobi had done nothing to provoke the Sage. When Ginjiro entered the Barrier Akkuma could only chuckle. It seemed this puppeteer was man of great skill. Although he was quickly pursued by one of the Demons corpses. Its rotted flesh striking out at him, those teeth attempting to bite into his flesh. "Well done..." he would say to the puppeteer with a small tilt of his head. It was no easy feet to pass through his Blockade, though it would not make him halter. Standing there he looked like a beastial version of Hissori, not surprising that the Tsuchikage would place himself in a protective barrier.

There had not been enough time complete his last action and now with someone within his barrier he wouldn't be able to do it. Lest he risk exposing who he was, for all intensive purposes he was the Tsuchikage at least in appearance. The trickery had already resulted in the Iwa nin attacking his liege. "You can help me end this madness." he would say to the puppeteer since the man was the only one within the barrier. Wondering if the shinobi would think he was the Tsuchikage, for Akkuma knew the Leader well. Should the trickery fail he would unleash his last stand. The Demon knew he could not falter, if he didn't act now it would be too late. If only he had been able to reach them before this had started, warned them like he had the others. With a sigh he prepared himself for what he believed he had to do. At least if he fell here today he knew that those he had allied with were also hunting their enemy. Little did he know one of those allies was almost upon the scene.

As the fight continues, Shoma finds his will under attack. His mind is floods with thoughts that distract and encourage hesitation. Shoma knows himself far better that common people, and even to include those who take to the battlefield, for through obedience he learn greater control over himself. For this, to protect his virtue, he sections off part of his mind and make use of the technique, 'Demon Lock'.

From here, simple strikes would be all he could afford make at the moment. More figures approach the field and not knowing there intent, the swordsman could only hope to remove the demon and his minions from the fight before he gains even more possible allies.

The fight was drawing out and it was of course wearing on Hissori. It had really been years since he had fought against anyone really. Of course there was those dinosaurs, but Hissori had people with him helping and the fight was a lot quicker, this was a slow drawn out fight that was wearing the Tsuchikage down even if he was just trying to keep the civilians safe as they fled. In the chaos the man had lost track of his dog who was now somewhere in the battle. Again Hissori would reach up to touch the headset he had been sporting to talk to Umashi who he hoped was coming to help the civilians.

“Again, the Jouin exam was sabotaged by someone. Combatants were tricked into attacking Jashin cursed dummies serious injured. Most of the civilians have been evacuated, though a fight has broken out between former Kirigakurian ANBU Akkuma and current Iwagakurian shinobi Shoma. Even with my direct order to stop, they did not comply.

Currently, the fight has been obscured from site due to a ninjustu barrier being put up. Though from a look around the field, Shoma is not within the barrier. Akkuma has sealed one other combatant inside with him leaving Shoma, Jomei, and another shinobi out of it. Jomei has set off a flare around the same time I originally called you. There is no reports on if other ninja’s are responding to it.”

TBH I have to oppose Aries with the request to follow the ROE and UBR to the letter. I work 3 jobs atm, writing an entrance from a Master Course as well as studying for my GRE. This was suppose to be an event thread for chuunin and jouin not a major battle. Honestly, Shiori has been kind enough in letting them temporarily derail this story into a fight like this instead of just going, "This is my event and I don't want that fight now." So I will kindly tell Shoiri to keep it up and doing your thing you are doing a great job!

Edit: Also note, if we are going to be following the ROE and UBR now. I want it reflectively applied to Akkuma last round as to make it his actions are invalidated.

    • Kagemaru and Kouin responded to the flare, Sunaku Shikai responded after them. The flare can only be used to call two players and it is determined by who posted first. This would be round 2.
    • Takayuki did not have enough AP to cast all of his attacks.
    • Ginjiro did not have the AP or the awareness to cast all of his attacks.
    • Akkuma and Ginjiro are inside Black Blockade, everyone else is outside.

Per ROE neither of their actions should have happened. IF this is the standard expected and maintained, then Akkuma would be KO'd by Takayuki's first offensive attack.
