Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Mental Profile: Hoshirei, on first meeting, seems as though her head is stuck in the clouds. Her mind is not in the clouds however, it is generally not amongst the living. She listens to the dead speak; hears their stories. She can be rather serious and grounded when needed, though she prefers living her own way. As a member of the Isaki clan, she is no stranger throwing money at her troubles, though she tends to not do that unless there is no other option. Spoiling her friends and loved ones was one thing, but she believed that throwing money at things only set a precedence of paying off everyone, something she wasn’t about to start. Recent events has made Hoshirei more serious. She does not look kindly upon anyone she views as working against the village, herself and her husband, or her clan (in that order).

Archived History:
Hoshirei was born to the Isaki clan in Moon shortly after the Daimyo took over. Her mother and father were both present for most of her childhood, until her father was called to negotiate with the Daimyo in attempt to cool rising tensions. Only a few months after her father left, a message arrived for her mother. The letter was from the current head of the Isaki clan, telling her to move with her daughter to Leaf. Although reluctant to leave in case her husband returned, Hoshirei’s mother packed up their little family and moved to Konohagakure.
On their way to Konoha, Hoshirei would sometimes giggle as if something was making funny faces, but when her mother looked, nothing was there. The woman became increasingly paranoid until she asked her daughter what she was seeing. Hoshirei quickly replied that it was just papa making his silly faces. She shouldn’t have been surprised really, as Hoshirei had seen ghosts in the past, however, this was the first human one and an unfortunate confirmation that her husband was dead.
Hoshirei was a happy child, though she tended to creep out her classmates at times, especially when she spoke to the ghosts that tended to hang around. Perhaps the funniest moment was when she met her jounin sensei. He had turned into a tree to test out her team’s awareness. Her teammates were rather surprised to see her staring at a single tree amongst trees. They teased her a lot until she finally smiled at the tree, waved, and called out a hello to her sensei. Her teammates stopped laughing and instead screamed when the tree did in fact turn into their sensei.
As she got older, and stronger, Hoshirei grew into her abilities. The first time she phased through a wall, she rather wished she hadn’t, especially since she phased into her mother’s room when she had a male friend over. A shriek, a stumble, and another phased through wall later, Hoshirei decided that she would have to be much more cautious whenever she was practicing her abilities. As she trained more and more with genjutsu, she discovered that they tended to either be harder to break out of, or just lasted longer in general.
Hoshirei excelled to jounin rank at a somewhat fast pace at the age of 17. She worked for the intelligence division before the branch was reformed. Hoshirei likes teaching when not heading her clan in her husband Maki's place or taking part in assigned intelligence missions. She was recently promoted to Head Jounin in tandem with her ascension to Isaki Clan Head.
During the reign of Asuka, Hoshirei had to take a step back from her role in the village and focus more on the clan so she stepped down from her Head Jounin role.

This young Nekozuka has purple hair and eyes. On her face lie six whisker marks that are lighter than the rest of her skin instead of darker. She's about 5'5" tall and she's nicely developing her womanly attributes. She has a penchant for short shorts, or jeans, and printed tees that say "Make Me Purr", though it's not unusual to see her in a skirt/shorts combo. Her tanned skin is a small thing of pride for her. She darker while still in a dark environment.

Kimi is by no means shy, but like any cat she's cautious about new things and people. She's rather independent and likes to do things on her own, though she isn't against working with people, as long as she doesn't have to do all the work. She enjoys basking beside fires with her twin tigerd. She knows how to play rough and also how to play gentle. She easily warms up to people. However, if crossed, she's likely to not let it go so easy.

History said:
Kimi's story starts before her birth. Generations ago, her line was chosen as host to a great tiger demon, one who had decided to give its strength to one special family. The strength was passed from grandmother to granddaughter as the generations passed. Soon, it was time for the new daughter of the Nekozukas to be born and it was also nearing the passing of Kimi's great-grandmother. A week after her birth, the transfer ceremony was performed. Kimi was the new vessel of the great tiger.
She was treated like a normal child as not many knew she held this great power within her. From youth she was also taught to school her emotions and other skills she would need as a ninja. She knows that she holds a demon and she also knows how serious unleashing those powers before she was ready.
When she was six, she was given twin white tiger cubs as a gift. She trained with them day after day. She taught them how to speak like a human, though it was still rather broken as they were cubs. They were hard for most people to tell apart, so Kimi got them blue and red collars with their names embroidered on them. Kora wore the blue, Katsu, the red.
Eventually, Kimi entered the academy, of course her cubs went with her, there was no way Kora and Katsu would stay at home. She graduated from the academy, but still audits some medical classes, just to make sure she's up to snuff for her new position as a combat medic. When she is not needed on the battle field, or as an emergency medic at the hospital, she is working in her veterinary clinic.
Kimi has somewhat recently married a man named Enzeru who is a fallen angel and old friend of the spirit which lurks within her body.

Name: Kayo
Description: Kayo is a mostly silver colored fox. Her eyes and fur softly glow with a blue light giving her look an almost ghost-like, ethereal quality. She has blue horns which have a lighter blue pattern the same color as her eyes. She likes to wear bronze cuffs with a delicate swirling design on her horns as if she were a human wearing earrings. She has longer fur down her back and a big fluffy tail trailing from an almost blue hue to a pure silver tip. She stands at 20 inches high, 34 inches long with a 20 inch tail, and weighs 30 pounds.

Personality: As a kit, Kayo was playful and mostly carefree. She played with her siblings in and just outside of their den. However, as she approached maturity, her horns begane to form, making her siblings nervous around her. Her parents argued quite a bit about how she could have possibly grown horns, let alone the blue glow that started tinting her fur and taking over her eyes. She broke off from her family group around maturity to go learn more about the differences she was sporting from normal foxes. The more she learned, the more serious and confident she became. She takes pride in her ability to hunt down her prey and protect those with whom she decides to bond.

History: Kayo was born to a pair of red foxes named Kuuru and Matsuko, the oldest of her litter. She was the only girl in her litter as well but she always held her own against the two boys as they grew. As a kit, her parents thought she might end up a platinum variant as her fur looked so light it was almost white in places. However, as she approached maturity, her fur turned a soft silver and slowly developed the blue glow. The final shock for them all was when Kayo developed her horns. She had always been good at detecting when something just was not quite right, but her senses heightened as her horns grew.
Once her horns stopped growing, Kayo’s parents told her about the legend surrounding foxes who could help protect other foxes and even humans with their abilities. They did not know much more, so Kayo decided to set out to learn more about her new found abilities. As she travelled, she discovered that she could hide from prey extremely well, even if she was upwind of her target. She was approached by other foxes with summoning contracts and taught how to become a summon animal. The other summons also taught her how to speak common, though she is still very new to the language and her speech is rudimentary at best. Kayo was not too sure about this new experience as she had never interacted with humans before, but was pleased with the first human who summoned her.
Meeting Hoshirei was one of the oddest moments of her life. She appeared in a puff of blue smoke to see the Isaki on her knees, hands on the ground in the center of a summoning circle. Kayo tested the human to see if she could stand being this person’s main summon only to find that the woman could do the same plane shifting she could. At that moment, she decided that Hoshirei was her human and she would protect her and fight alongside her. And, if she decided to hang around her human’s residence she would. Kayo even got used to her human’s cat, even if it annoyed her sometimes.

How had this escaped my attention? [Learning Fiero] - Hoshirei found a paper in her office written in Fiero. She headed to the library to translate it, only to find it a prank.
Moon [Open] - Hoshirei walked her usual path along the Hokage Monument and came upon a member of ANBU named Chinnoku. They discussed the future of the village.
Lunch with a Wild One [Open] - Hoshirei and Kayo make their way to Ichiraku Ramen and encounter Soku and Kotori. Soku petted Kayo much to her delight.
That could have gone better [Private/Maki] - Hoshirei received word that her husband had gone to meet the Hokage. She followed him to the office just in case he needed a shoulder to lean on. Unfortunately, he did. But good came of it. She learned that Maki has a new lease on life and is excited to get to know the new version of her husband.
Follow the Yellow Brick Road [Passport Request/Asuka] - Hoshirei visits Asuka to request a passport for an upcoming journey with her husband.
A Quiet Night at Home - Hoshirei spends some quality time with her kitty Mouna.
Lazy Mornings [Private] - Hoshirei has a lazy day in her clan compound.

A Mournful Melody - Hoshirei attends the funeral of Kiriyomi's father. She gives him a little bit of closure by helping his father's ghost speak to him.
Father & Son, a Somber Reunion - Hoshirei comes upon Shishiwakamaru at the village cemetery. The ghost of his father was present and gave a little information on his killer.

Some Scrolls Should Probably Be Left Alone - Hoshirei studied a scroll she found in her clan archives describing a way to strengthen genjutsu. She followed the instructions, confronted herself, and came into a new power.
