Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Character's Mental Description: For as long as he was known, as far as Umashi was concerned he did whatever he wanted to when he wanted to do it to any degree that he wished, especially when there was a chance that he could highly profit from such a decision. He preferred not to cause unnecessary collateral damage when if at all possible but when the party really started to get going, he was all about the business. A hipster by trade he made it his aim to always look and sound good even when doing his worst; a fact that played into how he often could be noticed changing his clothes, attitude and general appearance on the fly. Since fighting in the Fire Country Civil War, Umashi has grown darker in his mood however. Whereas once he was carefree, he now was more civil . . . at times. Some say that it is due to the atrocities that he’s witnessed while others clearly point to the atrocities that he’s committed. Whatever the case is, the O-Kami Unit doesn’t help with his demeanor and the slight tugging of his old personality is never too far off from even the most bloody of battlefields.

Character History: Unknown for the most part other than up until recently. He was a high seas pirate captain until his business brought him a little too close to the Fire Country which involved him with the Yamaguchi clan and their heir apparent. A bargain on the rocks, he opted to join the state versus spending an indefinably long time in one of their many prison cells. Since then he's become rather protective of his new family of sorts and their kin but what still lies beneath the surface of it all is a man looking for the most profitable way out of the game. Secretly a very crafty shape-shifter, he's worked his way into the likes of many a politically powerful circle on both sides of the fence and found that the grass is just as green on either side when looking right down the middle.

Taking in a deep breath, Umashi chuckled to himself as he sat on the rather comfortable couch overlooking the oncoming horizon. It seemed that his time in retirement was coming to a close and he had no time left to enjoy the sense of normalcy that he’d enjoyed up until now. Content with the lazy life, he rolled out of bed and yawned as he stretched stood up to greet the day’s activities. Having long since faded into obscurity as the “last” Hokage, there was a new age among the shinobi of the Leaf and he only had the efforts of Iwagakure for that. Having long since exchanged his so called Kage hat and blade for a chef’s hat and a large cooking spoon, Umashi was a family man now and ideas of sailing the seas were now filled with exploring the great expanses of a park with two toddlers. His son and his daughter having been born during the war, the blood that had been shed in the name of Konoha was a stain that Umashi desperately tried to wash off day after day.



Looking over at his wife he smiled and started on getting ready for the morning. No longer a “War Kage” chosen at the cusp of a revolution, the family man role at times tugged at the inner yearnings of Umashi’s being but it was a role that he was willing to play. Sometimes he enjoyed it, and yet sometimes it scared him to his core. What might he do if someone hurt one of his own? A nickname that he’d earned on the battlefield was as the “Red King”, and it had more to do with drowning a man in his own blood more than simply being the Shin-Nidaime Hokage. For the briefest of moments at times he did indeed have flashbacks, most men did in his position, but it was times like that when a loving touch from his beloved or a playful nudge from his precious twins would bring him back to reality. The only blood that he seemed to see now was the kind that came from skinned knees and bad shaves versus missing limbs and dying men.



Without even trying he was back on the battlefield, his body exhausted and his mind awash with emotions. A cutting loss that had just wiped out half of a platoon was quickly made up by the concentrated efforts of a few valiant men. They were dirty, bloody and hungry, and the fact that there was no telling if they were winning or losing took its toll on them all. Making the “Red Line” was the stuff of lore, but what the stories wouldn’t so readily tell was that it cost a lot of lives and in the process something snapped within them all. Even the sanest of men were touched by the atrocities of war and Umashi was no different. The man most noted for his proficiency with fire was suddenly finding himself growing fearfully efficient at an equally red liquid.



Flipping pancakes he heard the stirrings of his family upstairs and continued making breakfast. Even such mundane things as making a meal reminded him of his near perfect battlefield techniques. A slash and a jab had made way for a flip and a turn and yet to his instinctively trained muscles it all seemed to work the same in his mind. Lost in his own thoughts, he jumped when there was a knock at the door. Who could be stopping by this early in the morning? Removing the food from over the cooking top, he wiped off his hands and prayed that this intruder of sorts hadn’t woken the family from their slumber. Looking through the peephole he didn’t recognize the person standing there but in their hands was a box and on their arm was the telltale sign of a courier’s badge. Shrugging, he opened the door and was greeted with a rather odd greeting. “Good morning Mr. U, we’ve need of your services again.” The statement was said in such a matter of fact way that Umashi almost didn’t notice just how odd it was. His brain recognizing the possibly missed actual wording, he shook his head and asked, “I’m sorry, who needs me again?” He smiled weakly but there suddenly developed in his gut a feeling that he wasn’t going to like the answer that he was going to receive.



Looking down, the courier shook his head and opened up the box as he muttered. “They said that you’d not recognize it . . .” He continued on but he finally perked up when it seemed that his message still wasn’t being processed. At this time, Umashi’s wife had come up behind him and the twins were with her, their son holding onto her leg and their daughter running up to Umashi and begging to be picked up. Holding up a finger a moment, Umashi bent down to scoop up his little precious and kissed her on the forehead as his wife spoke softly as if possessed. “Leave us, we’re happy here.” Strange didn’t seem to fully define how Umashi was feeling as his eyebrows perked up at this. What in the world was going on? The courier sighed and cracked open the box as Umashi’s wife moved to shut it just as swiftly. Instinctively Umashi moved to intercept any deflection that the teenage boy might make in order to harm his wife and it ended up being just as tense as any battle he’d ever fought in. Calmly he spoke, “Honey, why don’t you take the kids and finish making breakfast, I’ll handle this.” His wife however wouldn’t be deterred and obstinately stood her ground.



She cast a glance in his direction, her hazel eyes as lively as ever with the hidden rage that he’d learned over the years to accept when it came to her defending their home. “No, they’re trying to take you from us. I won’t allow it; I refuse to let you go back to them.” What? Back to war? No, the war was over and Umashi was retired. Instead of being that blasted pesky pirate he was Umashi, the adoring husband, loving father and successful tradesman. “Honey . . .” Ok, he was begging now, he really had to understand what was going on. At this urging his wife attempted to swat the box away and as sleepy as Umashi may have been from the night before, he was very much awake when her hand swatted the box away from the man and it barely cracked open to reveal . What in the . . . wait, was that box glowing? “What’s in the box!” Umashi asked as his voice raising it a bit to both urge the boy to answer the question and to warn his wife to get inside before things got any tenser.



The boy scrambled to pick up the box and started to open it as his wife grabbed the kids and attempted to pull Umashi back into the house. “Umashi, don’t . . . please don’t leave us. Just come inside and close the door. Don’t let him open that box.” Instead of listening to her however, Umashi stepped out onto the steps and was completely separated from his wife. “What’s in the box kid?” Why was he so stuck on figuring out this mystery? Something far off, some voice was telling him that he just had to know, that he needed to know the answer to this mystery. The boys smirk threw him off however as he dusted off the box and began to open it slowly as the light from within it became something like a small sun. “You’ve been sleeping for too long Umashi, it’s time to wake up and finish the fight.” With each ray of light that escaped from the box, a flood of memories began to remerge in his mind. Memories of how the war had really ended, how things really were and even his strange addiction to dream diving as it were, suddenly made him aware of just how real this moment wasn’t.


The box fully opened, the light seemed to be all that Umashi could see and then the voice, that voice, reaffirmed itself in his head once more. “Rise and shine bright eyes!” The voice was something akin to a person trying to make a joke who’d never made jokes before. It wasn’t like a real person. Suddenly aware of the pool of water that he seemed to be partially submerged in, Umashi woke up with a start, thrashing around and breathing heavily. It was all a dream. Peace, love, a normal life. They weren’t his to have. Raising a wet hand to rub at his temple he choked back emotions as he realized that it had all been a simple dream. It all made sense why it had seemed so real, why he wanted it to seem so real. Konoha wasn’t unified any more than he was a married man and the war was barely over by a long shot, just as a sad stalemate. That voice in his head was the O-Kami Unit, an entity that via something akin to a parasitic possession had enhanced his abilities beyond normal. The “possessed” would run faster be physically stronger, everything. A normal shinobi was extraordinary with the O-Kami units at the cost of a piece of their humanity.



A non-elemental entity, it was one of the many forms of “technology” employed during the “False Daimyo’s War”. It only helped to serve the battle give nickname, “The Red King” further as it made him something of an animal on the battlefield. The only downside was that it drove him insane and forced him into a slumber that many of his men dubbed “Dream Diving”, because in it his mind pieced together a reality that could never be, and in some cases one that was hard to escape from. Though he had the original prototype unit, Umashi wasn’t the only one with problems “Dream Diving” as the O-Kami units had been used en masse by many a soldier to fight on beyond mere mortal means. Insanity during the day and tranquility at night, it was a tough pill to swallow but in war, all was fair and Umashi wasn’t about to leave anything to chance. A courier . . . a real courier knocking at his room door, he exited bath of sorts and grabbed a towel as he walked behind the changing doors and begin to dress himself.



Dream Diving seemed to work best when one was truly physically floating it seemed and by the time Umashi was finished getting dressed his body remained somewhat damp. “Come in.” he ushered as he sat on a bench and continued drying his hair and looking haggard, listened to the messenger. Sitting there, he could hear the fear that the man had for him simply by the beat of his heart. A sense that he’d developed thanks in part to the extreme water affinity based abilities that the “Red Rain” had granted him thanks in part to occurrences that happened when making the Red Line. He could stop a man’s heart with a stare now, and he could feel a lie by a man’s pulse without even touching him. Momentarily distracted, as he listened on, there only seemed to be one reason that he could surmise for him being woken up; he had to go to Iwa. Bureaucracy at its finest, it seemed that suddenly they were calling the troops home?

Shell Guard - Turtle Contract Passive
The shell of a turtle is synonymous with protection, and for good reason. There isn't much in the natural world that is tougher than the protective plating of a strong turtle.

Effect:
-User has +10% damage reduction against all non-Illusionary damage.
-The user ignores the first two ranks of bleeding, and does not take damage from them.

Shell Smash - Turtle Contract Independent Special Move
Though their shells may be tough, turtles are not exactly the fastest beings. Turtles of the contract realm, however, can temporarily alter this, briefly forgoing the protection of their shells in order to drastically increase their offensive prowess.

Effect: For 1.5 AP, the user may sacrifice the effects of Shell Guard in order to gain +15% damage and +3 accuracy to any one jutsu subtype of the user's choice. This effect lasts for one full round.

Tidal Wall - Turtle Contract Senjutsu
A rock is a barrier is a wall, and a turtle is an impressive wall indeed. The protection a turtle offers extends not only to itself, but can be used to shield its allies when it so desires. Contract turtles even bring with them a protective aura that can help restore their friends.

Effect: Creates a barrier that shields up to three targets, including the user, from 4500 damage. Those within the barrier are healed of three physical debuffs of their choice.

Cost: 2.5 AP, 2750 Cp, 1380 CP/Rnd

Note:
- Jutsu subtype is chosen when the contract creature is designed; damage buffs that apply to the contract subtype increase damage blocked.
- This jutsu protects only against non-Illusionary attacks. This does not affect any jutsu currently in effect.
- Those protected by this barrier cannot use jutsu which use melee accuracy, or cause elemental damage while this barrier is active. If they do, they are no longer protected by this jutsu.
- Physical debuff include things like bleeding and Called Shot levels. Each Called Shot level healed counts as a separate debuff healed.
- Debuffs healed must be chosen while barrier is still active, or they will be selected randomly when barrier falls.

Abilities;
Ancient Wisdom - General Contract Ability
While many contracts are reclusive and rarely show themselves to the outside world, do not make the mistake of assuming them to be unworldly; many contract beasts live lives far longer than humans, and with this age comes experience. Experience that can benefit those who heed its advice.

Effect:
- While the contract is present in battle, its allies gain a bonus based on its custom class 'High' stat(s); this bonus is +1 Acc/Dodge/DC/Save and +5% Damage dealt with it. These bonuses do not apply towards caps.
- Example; the contract with this ability having Nin Acc and Gen DC in high would grant its allies +1 to Nin Acc/Nin Dodge/Gen DC/Gen Save, and +5% Ninjutsu/Genjutsu damage.

Predatory Precision - General Contract Ability
With uncanny swiftness, the beast strikes. In many cases by the time a victim is able to notice an attack, it is too late.

Effect:
- All techniques used by this contract are modded as if costing as -.5 Ap, to a minimum of .5 Ap.

Duelist

A master of card battles and dice games, the user is undefeatable so long as they believe in the heart of the cards. A duel is an age old custom, extending back to the beginnings of modern combat. Those skilled in the exchange are well suited to fighting in one on one combat.

Information
Prerequisites: C Rank

Effect:
- +2 Accuracy/DC and +10% damage towards a single target. User must choose target at beginning of battle. Should the target be KO'd, or no longer in the battle, the user may choose another target. Targeting any other opponent (excluding clones) from the initial target will nullify this ability for the remainder of the battle.
- The user ignores % Auto-dodge chances their chosen target may have.
- -2 Dodge/Save to any other opponents targeting the user

Notes:
- When choosing a target, the user must declare what type of Accuracy or DC buff they wish to receive. Either Melee, Ranged, Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. The type of buff remains constant as long as this ability is active.
- Clones are considered an extension of their owner and all above effects will still apply.

Name: The Akakame

Description: A leading group of red bandanna wearing turtles trained in the shinobi arts. Although they have the ability to appear as typical run of the mill red-eared terAkashin, the Akakame often can be found in their humanoid form wearing their Fire Country inspired bandanna and sashes. The turtles when in their humanoid form stand just over five feet and when in their terAkashin form, they can usually fit within an average sized grown man’s hand. Due to being trained in the shinobi arts and always ready for a mission, the Akakame can typically be found with an assortment of shinobi weapons on themselves, from swords, bo staffs, nun-chucks and combat sai's although they're proficient in many shinobi arts other than taijutsu.

Personality: The Kame-nin typically have many different personality types but of the four dubbed the Akakame that Umashi deals with are known for their very family oriented behavior and antics. In fact, they’re often able to be distracted by an argument in the heat of battle. Akaichi, the leader, is known for being more serious and disciplined, Akani is known for being a free spirit and an exceptional chef, Akasan is known for having a genius level intellect and inventions and Akashi is known for being the true warrior of the group. While each of the turtles have their merits, there is also a downside to their personalities that lend to them often having to learn to live with each other’s faults. Akaichi often is so serious that he needlessly stresses out and fails to deliver as a leader, Akani often needs to be reminded of the seriousness of a mission, Akasan often is lost in thought and Akashi constantly has to be reminded that the missions that they carry out are a team effort.

History: Hatched in the Fire Country city of Shin Yoko, the Akakame were found by Umashi sometime during his years of pirating off the coast of the Fire Country. While they were seemingly terAkashin gifted with the ability of transformation, Umashi noticed the potential that they had for a better purpose. Adopting them like sons, Umashi would parent from afar as he kept his life as a pirate a secret from them until he felt as though they were ready to handle just what sort of man that their "father" was. When Umashi finally decided to reveal his true self to them, the foursome that had taken on a leadership role within the Kame-nin, rebelled and struck out on their own. While they respected the man who they considered to be their father, they did not agree with his war mongering ways. To them the Fire Country was their home and their father unfortunately fell far short of their respect. For many years Umashi would hear tales of their exploits as they rose to fame within Shin Yoko and the greater Fire Country as a whole.

Continuing to teach other Kame-nin in the same way that he'd taught the original Akakame, Umashi and the original foursome eventually crossed paths again after he was promoted as the War Kage during the Leaf Country Civil war. Having been tasked to protect the Fire Country from the evil Daimyo, the original Akakame agreed to rejoin Umashi once more after seeing what sort of man he'd grown to be after abandoning his pirate ways. Once again uniting the general Kame-nin and the Akakame, Umashi and his “son’s” attempted to turn the tide of the battle but were unable to defeat the Fire Daimyo at the time. Journeying with Umashi to Iwagakure, the Akakame would grow in size as other humanoid turtles began to follow in their ways. Eventually migrating with Umashi and the other Fire Country refugees back to Konoha, the Akakame now continue in the way that they were originally taught by Umashi, that of protecting the weak from the powerful bullies that would seek to do them harm. Although their main home is Shin Yoko, the Akakame are always willing to help Umashi out if the need should arise and there is always a local Kame-nin around that can lend a hand as well. Now that their moral intentions have aligned, the Akakame and Umashi are as fearsome a team as ever!

Other info: Kame-nin = The general shinobi turtles that Umashi might summon to help deliver top secret information or assist in teaching students, etc.

Akakame = The special Kame-nin foursome that Umashi is especially close to and his original turtle contract pupils.

Living Artifact - Tsukumogami Contract Passive
The Tsukumogami; beings that, through some type of infusion of spiritual and natural energy, have 'awoken' to sentience out of normal objects. This contract is widely varied in both appearance and temperance, often having traits akin to the object they were born from. The spirit of a weapon might take a threatening form and be prone to aggression, while one of a mirror might be proud and beautiful.

Effect:
- Once per round the contract may be used to replicate the effect of any consumable item (all costs are paid as normal).
- The user may be considered either Spiritual, Cursed, or holy; this must be stated in the user's Dojo.
  • Should a character have the Archsage Kinjutsu, their Senjutsu Manipulation ability's alignment becomes this Alignment rather than Holy.

Identify - Tsukumogami Contract Dependent Special Move
As the spirits of the Tsukumogami contract were once ordinary objects themselves, they have an instinctual connection to other tools. With a touch, they can understand any object's quality, traits, and history, and can even, as the Tsukumogami like to put it, 'persuade' said objects to not work against them. How exactly this is done, only the Tsukumogami may know.

Effect: When a target in battle uses an inventory item, the user may pay 1 AP and 500 CP to reflexively attempt to nullify it. This requires a check of the user's choice between the user and the target, and if the user succeeds, the items use is nullified (still counts as a usage) and cannot be used again for a full round.


Soul Regalia - Tsukumogami Contract Senjutsu
The unique skill of the Tsukumogami contract, one they are only willing to perform with someone who has earned their respect. In this stage the Tsukumogami shares their power with their ally, pooling their strength together in a way that's stronger than either of their two halves. The Tsukumogami often manifests as intricate glowing robes or armor, or equally detailed weapons.

Effect: The user transforms into some type of living item, and equips themselves to one willing Player Character (a Tsukumogami contract may only bond with someone who has the Tsukumogami contract, while someone with Sage Mode may choose any willing ally). While bonded;
  • The wielder is considered the alignment specified by Living Artifact.
  • At the start of each round, the caster transfer's HP to their wielder equal to 20% of the damage taken by the wielder the previous round.
  • The caster may grant their wielder up to 3 of their Abilities (if they are a contract), or their full ability list (if they are a PC, excluding Kinjutsu abilities)
  • The wielder's secondary stats are whichever are the highest between themselves and the caster. If the wielder's own secondary's are higher than the caster's, then they gain a +1 bonus.
In addition to the above, the user chooses one of the below options;
  • Legendary Weapon: The caster chooses one of their own weapons or one of their wielder's, and equips it to their wielder. The wielder is treated as having the Weapon Mastery ability for this weapon type. If the wielder unequips or drops the caster, the caster may requip themselves to them without it costing the wielder's AP (it will only cost the Tsukumogami's AP). Upon equipping themselves to their wielder, if their wielder was in the middle of performing an action, then the action will be completed without interference in any way (such as if they were in the middle of performing a technique requiring handseals).
  • Wondrous Item: The wielder gains the effect of 1 Gear item chosen by the caster. Additionally, the wielder may use the caster's Living Artifact ability to replicate the effects of an item inplace of the caster.
  • Mythic Accessory: The wielder equipped with this item gains the ability to perform the caster's known jutsu list without requiring handseals, or knowing the jutsu themselves. The wielder does not need to meet any jutsu requirements. If used by a PC, cannot share BL/CA/Kinjutsu techniques.
Special Action: This Senjutsu's timing may be performed instantly upon the below conditions. All other costs are still paid normally.
  • The contract owner summoning this contract. The contract will pay the cost of this jutsu as normal, and automatically equip itself to its summoner upon being summoned.
  • The contract owner entering Sage Mode. The user will pay the cost of this jutsu, and automatically equip themselves to an ally of their choice.
Cost: 3 AP, 2400 CP/Rnd

Note:
- This Senjutsu cannot be forcibly dropped, other than the caster willingly choosing to drop this, or if either the caster or wielder reaches 0 HP or CP.
- Upon being dispersed, the wielder's and caster's Hp is averaged between them. Neither may surpass their max Hp/Cp ((if they do, both caster and their wielder will have Hp/Cp equal to the lower amount).
- When sharing abilities, the wielder cannot stack abilities which they already have.
- Overwrites any other similar combination type techniques, dispelling and/or preventing them.

While active;
- The caster may only use up to 1/2 their AP each round.
- The caster cannot perform any offensive actions or rest. The exception to this is if used by an Archsage, they may still perform their Archsage Jutsu.

Abilities
Hivemind - General Contract Ability
There are some creatures where, rather than live as a singular entity, are only ever really whole when as a grouped together as a colony. Although tending to be smaller and weaker when compared to a single being individually, there is some advantage to existing as a swarm.

Effect:
- The user's Contract takes the form of multiple weaker individuals rather than a singular one. Its total HP and CP is split between 2-through-5 individuals (amount chosen at the time of gaining the contract).
- All share the same Abilities, Awareness and AP (only one may perform an action at a time)
- Attacks targeting multiple targets may hit multiple in a single attack.
- Effects (both positive and negative) applied to a Hivemind individual do not apply to the others.

Note:
- This ability does nothing further than what is described above. It does not allow each individual to have a chance to inflict the Dread Aura contract ability and similar effects, for example.

Gigantic - General Contract Ability
Contract beasts come in all shapes and sizes, and there are some that reach such sizes that those around them. This size is rarely just for show, and though it definitly makes them a large target that attracts attention, it makes it much more difficult to restrain in any way other than defeating it.

Effect:
- The user's contract cannot be bound by non-illusory binds, but cannot enter stealth. If hit by a non-illusory bind, they instead take a -3 Acc/Dodge penalty for the duration of the 'bind'.

Bloody Mess
Psychopaths, Surgeons, Werewolf wannabies...Surgeons...something about these people just draws them to the sight of blood; they can't get enough of it! Someone with this dark skill is able to draw out much more of that precious lifeforce from their targets, almost as if the very blood they seeked was seeking them as well...

Name: Kin and Gin, Joka

Description: A sentient shapeshifting entity, Joka while normally a candlestick holder, is able to become a number of different things so long as the color is yellow or gold in nature. Typically he has one of four forms, that of a candlestick holder, a large triangle shaped hot air balloon, an action figure, “toy” form that can grow in size and a credit card form that sets Umashi apart from the rest. Although the larger forms are somewhat difficult to pull off and take some time to form if he hasn’t used the form before, Joka is easily one of the most versatile options that Umashi has in his arsenal. Of his typical large forms, his “Sword” form, which is what his hot air balloon form is called, is large enough to comfortably house a unit of shinobi for a time.

Personality: Joka although playful, is all about family and home. Fiercely loyal, Joka although not Umashi’s original contract partner, is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Although he is capable of being the biggest prankster like his name implies, at his core, Joka is very concerned about the wellbeing of others and enjoys bringing smiles to faces rather than seeing them cry. Peculiarly, although it’s implied that at one point, Joka was humanoid in form, he doesn’t speak much on the time period and is content to enjoy his days going from one adventure to the next with his friends and family.

History: Accidentally stumbling upon Joka while enjoying a quiet evening in the wilderness of the Fire Country, Umashi was soon immersed in the world of the sentient beings that weren’t human or even humanoid in form. Caught off guard, Umashi’s bias toward other contracts at first didn’t allow him to see the opportunity for what it was, but soon he found himself engaged in the story that Joka had to tell about a life of loss and the hope that one day the wrongs that had befallen his home would be righted. Eventually helping Joka get back home, Umashi was presented with the opportunity to have Joka join him on his journey instead of leaving him to yearn for adventures that he’d never enjoy. Quickly becoming close friends, Umashi found that Joka was just the sort of deviant friend that would always have his back. Pulling such pranks as animating the Hokage hat and frightening the Genin visiting for a field trip or switching all of Umashi's purchases to withdraw from Uchiha Takeshi's bank account, the two soon were able to perfect their craft by using Joka's abilities on the battlefield. Separate the two were strong, but when fused together, there weren't many foes that could stand in their way.

Other info: Joka will be utilizing the “Gigantic” contract ability due to his “Sword” and “Toy” forms. List of main forms below in spoiler. Gin is a recent addition in that he is exactly like Kin but silver. Both now often appear as doppelgangers of Umashi though sporting notably silver or gold eyes and garb respectively.

One of the most infamous clans, the Uchiha are known for their powerful Doujutsu, the Sharingan. Uchiha have a myriad of skills they can call their own, nearly all of which is traced back to their crimson doujutsu. Uchiha are known for awakening their Sharingan in times of trauma...and for it to only continue to grow in strength the more psychological pain an Uchiha pulls through, leading to some to seek this pain willingly in search of greater power.

Sharingan - Passive
The Sharingan is a Doujutsu of the Uchiha clan, distinguished by its infamous red-color and the 'tomoe' surrounding the user's pupil. Apart from serving as a focal point for later techniques, the Sharingan grants the Uchiha an extreme degree of perception, allowing the Uchiha to react and perform actions with greater precision. As even the tiniest and most subtle of details within their gaze will not go unnoticed, the Uchiha claim their Sharingan will always see the truth.

Rank 1/2/3: The user has +1/+1.5/+2 Accuracy and Dodge toward targets in their line of sight. When attacking a target within their line of sight, the user ignores any Auto-dodge %'s the target may have.

Cost: 1 AP, 2% Max CP/Rnd.

Note:
- While Mangekyou Sharingan is active, Sharingan's Acc/Dodge bonus becomes +3 (+4 is they possess if they possess Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan)
- Does not apply to Activated Auto-dodge, such as the Body Switch Ninjutsu. This only applies to % chances.

Eye of Insight - Passive
The Sharingan has the capability of viewing chakra as an aura. When combined with their eyes ability to precisely spot even the smallest of details, the Sharingan can unravel the secrets of anything within its gaze...So long as they may see it, of course.

Rank 1/2/3: At the start of the round, the user automatically gains awareness of all targets within their line of sight. +0/1/2 Awareness.

Special Action: For 0 AP and 2% Max CP, the user may have this effect re-occur at the 5 second mark of a round in addition to the start of the round. This may be used every-other round.

Note:
- Requires Sharingan to be active.
- Example; the user will identify clones as being the original or a fake, or see through Transformation jutsu and similar effects that are within their line of sight.

Adaptive Counter - Independent Special Move
Due to an Uchiha’s general all-round prowess in all forms of combat to some degree or another, they are equally as well versed in combating against most styles; with quick movements and keen alacrity when they find an opening in their opponent, they are the first to seize the opportunity to strike. Paired with their revered Sharingan, they claim to be able to predict an opponent based on the slightest muscle tension in their body.

Rank 1/2/3: Used Reflexively. When a target in battle performs a Reflexive action, the user may attack them with a basic strike at -2/-1/+0 Accuracy. If this attack hits, the triggering Reflexive action is prevented. This will only work if the target has been in the user's line of sight for the previous 5 seconds.

Cost: 0.75 AP; 2% Max CP

Notes:
- May only be used once per round.
- Requires Sharingan active.
- The user may choose which Accuracy/DC type this uses.
- The reflexive action this is used against is not "used", only prevented. It may still be triggered later in the round.

Hypnotic Gaze - Dependent Special Move
To look into the crimson Sharingan of an Uchiha is to invite disaster. Perhaps the most well-known capability of the Uchiha is their power to cast powerful Genjutsu upon targets through simple eye contact.

Rank 1/2/3: When performing a Genjutsu, the user may pay +20% CP to cast it without handseals. If the target is within their line of sight, the Genjutsu receives a +0/+1/+2 modifier.

Crescent Moon Mirror - Independent Special Move
The Sharingan is said to have the power to see through illusions, and this technique was created to reinforce that. By warding their mind against foreign influence, the user can assure that what their Sharingan perceives will be reality, and not someone elses illusion.

Rank 1/2/3: Once used, the user will auto-resist or auto-dodge the next E-C rank non-physical Jutsu that targets them in the next 8 seconds (does not carry over into the next round!).

Mangekyou Sharingan - Activated Passive
The Mangekyou Sharingan is the advanced stage of the Sharingan, accessible to Uchiha after having undergone traumatic stress. Distinguishable by its unique appearance (which varies among its users), the Mangekyou allows the Uchiha to access powerful techniques...but carries the drawback in that they place significant stress on the user's eyes, to the point where it can even result in the Uchiha losing their sight until their Sharingan recovers. Like its appearance, the abilities granted by the Mangekyou can differ between one Uchiha and another.

Rank 1/2/3: Upon unlocking Mangekyou Sharingan, the user must choose either Ninjutsu or Taijutsu in their training Dojo. Non-Illusionary attacks of the chosen type may affect +2 targets. Mangekyou Sharingan lasts up to 10/20/30 seconds.

Special Action - Eye Trauma: While Eye Trauma is active, Non-Illusionary attacks of the chosen type may attack any amount of available enemy targets for the duration of Mangekyou Sharingan. Eye Trauma may be activated at any point for 0 AP; this replaces the duration of Mangekyou Sharingan with 20 seconds. Using this action will disable Mangekyou Sharingan for the remainder of battle once its duration ends. Additionally, the user will undergo 'Recovery Time' equal to 1 OOC week per round Mangekyou Sharingan was active. Mangekyou Sharingan cannot be used during any modded situations that begin during this time. [Recovery time rules]

Cost: 1 AP to activate/deactivate. Upon deactivation, 2.5% Max HP per round active.

Notes:
- Requires Sharingan to be active, and have been active for at least 10 seconds.
- Once deactivated, requires a 10 second cooldown before Mangekyou Sharingan may be used again.
- Uchiha techniques which reduce the duration of Mangekyou Sharingan are treated as if they were maintained for that round when it comes time to pay the maintain cost.
- If the user has Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, using Special Action - Eye Trauma activates the effect for both Uchiha subbranches, however the duration is still 20 seconds.

Curse of Hatred - Passive
The Curse of Hatred is an ideal common among the Uchiha, in which they stop at nothing to achieve their goals and emphasize their superiority. Howeevr, the Storm Mangekyou has the power to actually harness that passion as a form of power that only grows in response to challenges set before them. It is this trait that makes Uchiha with the Storm Mangekyou said to hold their own, even against an army.

Rank 1/2/3: If the user starts a round outnumbered, they gain +1/+2/+3 Secondary stats and deal x2 damage; this damage bonus does not stack with others.

Note:
- For the purpose of being "outnumbered", this is factoring the Uchiha + any allies vs non allies. Clones are not factored into this.
- Only Characters, Creations (The entire jutsu counts as "one") , and Contracts with their own AP pools are factored into this skill. Anything sharing an AP pool (such as Hivemind contracts) only count as one. Any other target other than those listed here have no effect on determining whether the Uchiha is outnumbered or not.
- The Battle Mod must use their personal discretion to determine actual enemies based on actions, and prevent attempts at loopholing this (such as only hitting each other with a single basic strike, attacking themselves, or having a creation under their control attack them). Characters clearly aiming for the same end goal (such as attacking a specific individual) are to be considered "allies" for the purpose of this skill, even if they may be hostile ICly.

Storm Grip - Non-elemental Ninjutsu
A technique which partially manifests an aspect of Susanoo coming from the user, such as a hand or ribcage, which otherwise serves to act as a wall of chakra to protect, or in some case imprison, the user or the target. This technique may be used without the user needing to fully form the Susanoo, but can even be used to reinforce an existing one.

Rank 1/2/3: Creates a barrier with 1,215/1,520/1,820 HP; actions may not bypass this barrier from either side. Upon cast, the user must choose to use one of the following actions;
  • Upon themselves - May be used reflexively. This may still be used while Susanoo is active, despite it also being a barrier.
  • Upon others - Binds the target at -5/-4/-3 Ninjutsu Accuracy. The Susanoo hand is a barrier on the target.

Special Action - Tempest Throw: The user may pay 1.5 AP and the cost, to end this jutsu on a target and automatically deals damage equal to the barriers remaining HP + Susanoo's current HP (if active) as well as inflict the 'Disruption' effect on the victim. The user may attempt to hit a target with the thrown victim via Ninjutsu Accuracy, dealing the same amount of damage upon hit. Disruption may only be inflicted on a specific target once per Mangekyou Sharingan activation.

Cost: 2 AP, 405/505/605 Cp/Rnd.

Notes:
- This jutsu requires Mangekyou Sharingan to be active.
- Does not interfere with the user's line of sight, unlike other barriers.
- If used within 10 seconds of a previous usage, the duration of Mangekyou Sharingan is reduced by 10 seconds.
- When bound, actions requiring (See movement rules) used by the victim require +0.75 AP. The victim must destroy the Susanoo Hand before they may target others. All actions performed by the victim have a 20% chance of escaping this bind, even if the Susanoo hand is not destroyed.
- When the prison bind is destroyed, leftover damage may attempt to harm the target. The target may receives -3 penalty toward this attack. Does not occur if the victim was the one to destroy Storm Grip.
- The 'Disruption' effect randomly dispels a single random maintained jutsu active on the victim, and prevents it from being recast for a full round. If a Clone/Creation activates this effect, it is dispersed.

Vengeance - Dependent Special Move
Holders of the Storm Mankgeyou at most comfortable when in conflict. Their techniques, both within the Susanoo and without, flow without any faltering from one target to the next. Spurred by their Curse of Hatred, they may draw that power to perform techniques near simultaneously.

Rank 1/2/3: By paying +40%/30%/20% Jutsu costs, this may be used with any Non-Illusionary attack which is targeting more than one target. Rather than attack a specific target with the Jutsu this is used with, the user may instead choose to attack them with the Storm Grip Jutsu. This may be chosen individually for each target.

When making a non-illusionary attack which targets multiple entities, the user may remove a target from that jutsu to instead instantly target them with Storm Grip. The user pays 40%/30%/20% of the CP cost of any subsequent jutsu, but does not pay any AP.

Notes:
- This may be used once per round.
- This is not considered a combo.
- This does not count as casting Storm Grip[ as far as its "once per round" limit, and will not reduce the duration of Mangekyou Sharingan.
- Example; If Sasuke were to use an A-ranked AoE Chidori Control targeting Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi, he could use Vengeance to instead target Naruto with Chidori Control, and Sakura + Kakashi with Storm Grip. He would pay full costs for Chidori control, and 40%/30%/20% of Raijin's Vengeance and Dragon Flame Bomb.

Susanoo - Non-Elemental Ninjutsu
Those gifted with the power of Susanoo are said to be fearsome foes, capable of taking on hordes of foes alone. The Susanoo is an entity composed of chakra, massive in size, manifested around the user like armor. Susanoo acts on their behalf to both smite their enemies while protect them from harm, and the greater the Uchiha's strength, the more of Susanoo they may manifest; with those having the Eternal Mangekyou able to completely manifest full-bodied entities.

Rank 1/2/3: The user is considered a 'Giant' entity. The user gains a 2080/2340/2600 HP barrier upon activation and the start of each round; this barrier is applied individually against each target in battle, and does not interfere with the user's own actions or block their line of sight. The user is unaffected by effects which may bypass/ignore/reverse Damage Reduction/Barriers, and incoming attacks which deal Illusionary damage are instead considered to deal standard damage. Finally,the user's Ninjutsu and Taijutsu attacks may target any amount of available targets.
[EMS - Perfect Susanoo] - May only be performed by those with the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. Grants Susanoo an additional effect depending on what the Uchiha's other Mangekyou Branch is;
  • Eye of the Sun: Susanoo and Storm Grip are considered a Fire jutsu. Rising Flame may be used with any Attack while Susanoo is active, and the action used with it is considered a Fire action.
  • Eye of the Moon: While Susanoo is active, the user may apply their Storm Mangekyou 'additional target' effect to their Genjutsu once per round.
  • Eye of the Void: The user may choose to transport target's hit by Storm Grip to the Void Dimension, ending the effect of Storm Grip on said target. Additionally, the user may attempt to avoid attacks before Susanoo's barrier will block it (as opposed to standard barrier rules which have them block attacks before their user dodges) This means Susanoo's barrier will only apply toward attacks that would have hit them, not the ones which the user evades.

Cost: 3 AP, 2400 CP/Rnd
EMS Cost: 4.5 AP, 3200 CP/Rnd

Notes:
- This Jutsu is both a Chakra Armor and Barrier. The user cannot be affected by other Barriers unless otherwise stated.
- Requires Mangekyou Sharingan to be active.
- Attacks which deal increased damage to Barriers/Damage Reduction or bypass them completely do not apply against the user while Susanoo is active.
- The "Illusionary Damage is Standard Damage" effect applies even -before- an attack rolls to 'hit' the user (as well as after).
- 'Giant' entities cannot be in Stealth, however cannot be bound by anything other than another 'Giant' entity. Instead, Binds from non-giant sources cause the giant to suffer a -3 penalty to any attack they make while affected by it.
- Susanoo acts as a barrier vs each individual target in battle.
  • For example, Uchiha Madara is fighting Senju Hashirama and Tobirama. Just because Hashirama deals enough damage to break through Susanoo, does not mean Susanoo has been broken for Tobirama as well.
